You will shape the core progression and monetization systems of our free‑to‑play titles while owning an events and content roadmap that boosts retention and revenue. You’ll blend creative design with data‑driven decision‑making, transforming KPIs and player insights into clear, high‑impact updates. You’ll be a key force in an agile, multidisciplinary and creatively charged development team.
About CoolGames
At CoolGames, we’re proud to be a leading international HTML5 game studio, working with some of the world’s biggest ‘Big Tech’ game platforms, such as Netflix, Discord, Facebook and Microsoft Play. We also work with famous games IP such as Battleship, Angry Birds and Monopoly.
CoolGames is part of Keesing, the world’s largest Braintainment company. Keesing is a financially strong publisher of engaging sudokus, crosswords and many other puzzles & games with a presence in over 20 countries and headquartered in The Netherlands.
With the CoolGames HQ in Amsterdam, supported by our global remote teams, we offer market-competitive salaries, the chance to contribute to successful casual games that are played by millions and work directly with some of the biggest brands in the world. We believe in creativity, collaboration and delivering world-class gaming experiences, while giving you the choice to either join our Amsterdam studio or become part of our remote teams.
If you want to grow your career in a profitable, internationally recognized company, work closely with world-famous partners and be part of a highly professional international team,CoolGames is the right place for you.
About the role
As a Senior Game Designer, you will be responsible for the entire systems and LiveOps lifecycle. This includes designing new casual free-to-play games for desktop, tablets, and mobile, from initial concept through all stages of the product lifecycle. You will design and balance core loops, progression, rewards and game economy, then extend them through LiveOps: in‑game events, content drops, experiments and monetization changes that address KPI opportunities, lift retention and grow both IAP and ad revenue. Armed with analytical tools, you will translate insights into actions, weigh impact versus effort, and continuously iterate to keep our games fresh and competitive. Working side‑by‑side with developers, artists, QA and marketing in an agile environment, you will articulate strategy and results to stakeholders at every level, ensuring smooth execution. At the same time you will coach and inspire other game designers, fostering a culture of creativity, data‑driven decision‑making and constant improvement across the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Define and maintain the systems design for core loops, progression, rewards and economy (sources/sinks, pacing, difficulty), ensuring they align with player needs and business goals
Build and evolve a LiveOps strategy and content roadmap (events, seasonal mechanics, IAP offers and ad-driven promos) that drives engagement and revenue
Design and implement in-game experiments (A/B tests, event variations) and use the results to inform design decisions; iterate so each update measurably improves retention and monetization
Specify clear, developer-ready design documents and balancing sheets; be the single source of truth for feature scope, rationale and success metrics
Stay on top of casual F2P market trends and top-grossing competitors; pitch new content, meta features or mechanics (e.g., collections, passes, streaks, time-limited challenges) that fit our audience
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (design, engineering, art, QA, marketing) to deliver features and LiveOps smoothly; participate in agile rituals to align with development cycles and product goals
Present product vision, LiveOps plans and post-event analyses; communicate the “why” behind your strategy with data and research to secure buy-in from internal stakeholders and external partners
Mentor other game designers and raise team craft through feedback and reviews
Requirements
About You
5+ years of professional experience as a Senior Game Designer within the mobile or web F2P industry, with hands-on systems/economy and LiveOps experience
Deep familiarity with top-grossing casual games and F2P mechanics; you know what keeps players returning and spending, and can anticipate shifts in player behavior or monetization patterns
Ability to translate complex data and KPIs into actionable design changes and clear roadmaps, balancing player enjoyment with business objectives
Strong written and verbal communication in English; concise specs and clear presentation skills
Proven experience in cross-functional teams; you integrate creative, technical and commercial perspectives into a cohesive product direction
Experience in mentorship or leadership, fostering designer growth, and promoting a positive, solution-oriented approach.
Bonus: game economy design specialization; puzzle/casual background; HTML5/web distribution experience
Benefits
What we can offer you:
An international team of 80+ professionals from almost 20 different countries;
Work closely with some of the biggest (upcoming) game platforms in the world on high-quality casual games that are played by millions of gamers;
Competitive remuneration;
A flexible remote working environment;
Company events in HQ Amsterdam Office;
A very open, informal and international company culture where everyone can make a difference.
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
We are looking for an experienced Economy & Balancing Game Designer who can design, model, and tune the economies, progression, and reward systems of casual HTML5 games played by millions of people worldwide.
As part of one of our multidisciplinary game development teams, you will design, model, balance, test, and iterate game economies from early concept through live operations. You understand that a great casual game economy is not just “generous” or “tight”: it paces progression, makes every reward feel earned, gives every purchase a clear purpose, and stays healthy for years.

If you want to grow your career in a profitable, internationally recognized company, work closely with world-famous partners and be part of a highly professional international team, CoolGames is the right place for you.
About the role
As an Economy & Balancing Game Designer at CoolGames, you take ownership of the economies inside our casual games: the sources, sinks, progression, and reward systems that decide how players earn, spend, and advance. You will design systems that are fun, fair, understandable, and commercially effective. And you own the outcome: not just the analysis behind the numbers, but the retention and revenue they produce.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary agile team. Together, you will work on new titles, improve existing live games, and help shape the models, tools, and processes that make good economy design scalable across our portfolio. Because our games run on a range of platforms with different monetization models, you know how to make an economy work whether it is driven by in-app purchases, ads, or a subscription platform.
On new games you are involved from the very first design sessions, so that the economy, its sinks, and its progression are designed in from the start rather than balanced after the game has been built. On live games you take the economy apart per title, in enough depth to say what a change will do before it ships, and you model and simulate that change rather than shipping it and reading the result afterwards.
You are comfortable working both creatively and analytically. You can feel when a progression curve or a reward loop is right, but you also know how to validate that instinct through models, simulations, A/B tests, and player data.
About You
You are proactive and thrive on taking ownership and responsibility. You care deeply about how players feel when they play, and you know that a healthy economy and a great player experience are the same goal, not a trade-off. You know how to design systems that motivate without manipulating, monetize without frustrating, and reward without devaluing progress.
If you are:
An experienced Economy, Systems or Balancing Game Designer
Ready to work on long-lasting casual titles, and to move between them when needed
A strong believer in teamwork
Are not afraid of innovation and learning new tools on the go
Then you are on the right track to be a great match with Coolgames.
Responsibilities
Design and balance the economy, progression, and reward systems of our casual games, from the first design sessions of a new title through live operations
Own the revenue outcome of the economies you design
Build and maintain the economy models, balancing sheets, and simulations for each title, in enough depth to say what a change will do before it ships.
Use player data and A/B tests to find friction points, progression bottlenecks, and monetization opportunities, and to show, with data, where balancing proposals from game and level designers will take retention and revenue.
Design motivation loops and a cohesive ecosystem of LiveOps events that work together rather than compete for player attention
Communicate design rationale, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to the team and the studio, and take ownership of a title’s economy when moving between projects.
Research how comparable games in our genres structure, pace, and price their economies, and keep that as the reference we balance and price against.
Requirements
Requirements
5+ years designing, balancing, and operating the economies of successful, released free-to-play games on mobile and/or HTML5, including casual or puzzle titles.
Comfortable being accountable for a title’s KPIs: you make and defend decisions
Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills: balancing, simulation, and forecasting models, and fluent use of AI tools to build and analyze them faster.
Strong analytical mindset: you design and evaluate data, translating it into concrete design changes.
Deep understanding of player motivation, retention mechanics, LiveOps, and monetization design, and the empathy to feel what our casual audience will and won’t accept.
Independent and proactive, quick to get up to speed on a new game and its audience, with excellent English and experience working in remote, multidisciplinary teams.
A habit of benchmarking: you know the economies of the leading games in our genres well enough to say where ours sits against them.
Benefits
What we can offer you

Apply
Do you love building game economies that players find fair, motivating, and worth investing in, and that stay healthy for years?
Then we would love to hear from you. Please include your CV and, where possible, a portfolio, economy models or balancing sheets, shipped games, design documents, or examples that show how you think about progression, monetization, and player experience.

We are seeking a senior litigator from a leading Greek law firm or an in-house legal function, with 8+ years' post-qualification experience and strong expertise in public procurement litigation. The ideal candidate combines courtroom experience with a preventive, commercially minded approach, and can protect the group's interests in competitive tender processes while keeping disputes to a minimum. You will join a dynamic, fast-growing GovTech business that bids for and delivers contracts for EU institutions and national public authorities across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the group's senior authority on dispute resolution, setting strategy and overseeing any litigation, arbitration or administrative proceedings involving ED's entities across jurisdictions.
Protect ED's position in public tenders: assess procurement decisions and, where appropriate, pursue or defend challenges before national review bodies, the Greek administrative courts and Council of State, and the EU General Court.
Advise senior management and bid teams at key tender milestones (evaluation, award, standstill) so decisions to challenge, intervene or defend are well founded and proportionate.
Prevent disputes by strengthening tender submissions, contract terms, and consortium and teaming agreements, drawing on procurement and litigation insight.
Resolve contractual issues with clients, subcontractors and consortium partners early, favouring negotiated outcomes that protect long-term relationships.
Select and manage external counsel in Greece, Luxembourg, Belgium and other jurisdictions when needed, ensuring strategy alignment and cost control.
Provide the CEO and the Board with clear, periodic reporting on legal risk and exposure, and give input to Finance where relevant.
Guide and support the in-house disputes team, promoting consistent quality and sound judgement.
Advise on contractual risk in EU institutional and public sector framework contracts, and support compliance, governance and M&A due diligence as required.
Requirements
LLB/LLM and qualification to practise law in Greece (member of the Athens Bar Association or equivalent); rights of audience before the higher courts preferred.
8+ years' experience in litigation and dispute resolution at a recognised Greek law firm or a comparable in-house role, with substantial public procurement litigation experience.
Strong knowledge of national procurement review procedures and EU public procurement law, including the EU Directives and the EU Financial Regulation rules for procurement by EU institutions; experience before the EU courts is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to assess legal risk proportionately, manage external counsel and budgets, and communicate clearly with senior management and boards.
Experience guiding or mentoring other lawyers.
Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential; French or other European languages are a strong plus.

Our client is a fast-growing FMCG coffee business with products sold across more than 45 markets worldwide, including a growing footprint in Saudi Arabia. The company is now investing in Saudi Arabia and is building out the team and route-to-market for both its B2C and B2B coffee business in the region.
Our client is looking for a senior, well-connected coffee and FMCG sales professional to lead the development of its Saudi Arabian market, with primary focus on B2C and additional support on B2B activity. This is a hands-on, market-building role for someone who can advise the company on how to enter and grow in Saudi Arabia and the wider region – including identifying and securing the right distributors – and who is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a market where the company does not yet have a local office.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the company’s B2C coffee business across Saudi Arabia.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard key distributors and channel partners in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
• Provide hands-on advisory support to the company leadership on market entry, route-to-market and commercial structure for the region.
• Support and contribute to B2B sales activity alongside the core B2C focus.
• Build and manage relationships with retailers, distributors and trade partners across the coffee and broader FMCG landscape.
• Travel periodically to engage with the company’s existing business and sales teams, share market learnings and help guide the development of the Saudi Arabia business.
• Act as a trusted, on-the-ground advisor as the company scales its presence in the region, with the expectation of building and managing a team as the business grows.
Requirements
• At least 10 years of experience in the coffee industry and/or broader FMCG sales and marketing, with strong B2C focus.
• Deep, well-established network within the coffee industry in Saudi Arabia – able to advise on key distributors and the right way to enter the market.
• Proven sales and relationship-building track record; able to open doors and close deals.
• Previous experience managing a team is preferred, given this role is expected to grow into a people-management position.
• Comfortable working independently/remotely without a local office infrastructure, while staying connected to a small regional team.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Honest, hard-working, relationship-driven, and willing to travel as needed.
• Local Saudi Arabian candidates strongly preferred but not essential.
• No specific educational background required – industry experience and network matter most.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

At this stage of GiveDirectly’s growth and scale, we’re prioritizing hiring in the countries below, where we can employ you through a GD entity or an established employer of record: Cameroon, Canada, Colombia, DRC, Germany, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Rwanda, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom, and United States. Please note that we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time.
Travel:
Approximately 3-4 trips per year, including at least one to a country of operation and one to a key in-person leadership moment.
About this role
We are currently planning for a significant increase in scale, and we are building the People function that can carry it.
This is our first senior talent management role. Today we have pieces of talent management programs and processes in place, but not yet a function. You will build one: an intentional approach to how we onboard, develop, and retain our people. That covers performance management and its link to pay, manager and leadership development, learning, onboarding, talent planning and succession, employee listening and engagement, and culture and values.
The first year is weighted toward four priorities: joining the redesign of our performance system early, alongside the Head of People, and owning it as it moves into execution, as we move to pay for performance, revamping onboarding ahead of our next wave of hiring, planning our values retreat for senior leaders, and getting a read on employee listening and engagement. As those take shape, the balance shifts toward the longer-term build: the vision and roadmap for the function, a foundational manager program, talent planning and succession, and the team around you.
The reason for this weight: the performance system and onboarding are our most acute gaps today, but they should not be construed as a ceiling of the job. We are hiring a senior talent management leader who can shape the whole function over several years, not the owner of one or two programs. If your instinct on reading this is that the performance redesign is the whole job, this role probably isn’t the right fit, and the reverse is also true: if you want to set strategy but not build the first versions yourself, year one will frustrate you.
What you’ll do
Build the talent management function
Within your first 90 days, assess what exists today across these areas, recommend the sequencing for the first year, and agree to it with the Head of People.
Set the vision and multi-year roadmap for talent management across the areas it covers, and sequence the work against the People roadmap.
Propose the team around it, and decide what we build in-house and what we buy or borrow.
Connect talent management to workforce planning, compensation, and recruitment, in partnership with the Head of People, Finance, and function leaders.
Build an approach to talent and succession planning, starting with critical roles: work with leaders to identify succession gaps, assess potential successors, and put development plans in place to prepare people for future opportunities.
Own the performance system
Join the performance system redesign early, alongside the Head of People, and own it as it moves into execution: a system that produces reliable, calibrated outputs to inform merit increases, connected to our new salary bands.
Make the system worth using, not a check-the-box exercise: one that helps managers hold better performance and development conversations and gives employees clarity on expectations, feedback, and growth.
Build calibration and the data around it so ratings and merit decisions stay consistent and fair across countries, currencies, and manager quality.
Set a clear global standard for handling low performance that doesn’t default to a misconduct process, and equip managers to use it.
Ensure the performance system helps managers identify and support sustained high performance, connecting it to recognition, development, and career growth opportunities.
Iterate the system through multiple cycles, using calibration, outcome data, and feedback from managers and employees to improve it.
Build how people join, learn, and are led
Revamp onboarding ahead of our next wave of hiring: own the content and experience for new hires and their managers, working with People Ops on process and systems.
Build a foundational manager program and the tools behind it: feedback, coaching, difficult conversations, and performance management.
Extend into leadership development and broader learning as the function matures.
Shape culture and listen to employees
Plan the values retreat with an external facilitator and our executive sponsor, and own what carries into daily work afterward.
Get a read on listening and engagement today, covering what we hear, where it goes, and what should change, and use it to build our employee listening strategy.
What this role is not
Not a recruiting role. Hiring sits with our Talent Acquisition team. You partner with them on the handoff into onboarding and on how we assess and develop talent once people are here.
Not the owner of compensation design. Pay structures and bands are set through our compensation work. You own how performance is assessed and how ratings connect to pay decisions.
Not an employee relations or casework role. Cases in country belong to managers and HR Managers, supported by the People team. You own the performance system and the manager capability that helps them handle concerns well.
Not the owner of HR systems or process administration. Onboarding workflows and our HRIS sit with People Ops. You own the content and the experience.
Who we’re looking for
Required
7+ years in talent management, performance, or organizational design roles, including time leading a function or a major part of one.
You have designed a performance system, not only administered one. You can show how ratings connected to pay and what you changed after the first cycle.
You have kept a rating and pay system fair across contexts with different currencies, labor markets, and manager quality.
You are a hands-on builder. You have built talent management programs and systems from scratch, or close to it, in a start-up or scale-up: performance, onboarding, manager development, or a whole function, where what you needed did not exist and you built it while the volume was already arriving. We are not looking for steady-state operating experience, or for leaders who have overseen this work without building it themselves.
You think in systems. You can show how a change in one part of a talent system, such as ratings, calibration, pay, promotion, or onboarding, shows up in the others, and you reason from the underlying problem rather than copying another organization’s template.
You design with change management in mind from the start. You plan for how managers and employees in different countries and cultures will adopt a new program or system as part of the design, not as a rollout step afterward, and can show how you knew it stuck rather than being worked around.
You have deep experience in at least two of onboarding, manager development, and employee engagement or listening, and working experience in the third. You have built programs and content people actually used, and can show how you knew they worked.
A track record of joining a major project already in motion, taking it over, and working through disagreement with a senior partner, and of influencing without formal authority in a matrixed organization.
Judgment and prioritization. You decide what slips and say so plainly.
Preferred
Experience in a mission-driven or international organization, ideally alongside high-growth commercial or tech experience.
Experience working across multiple countries, including sub-Saharan Africa.
Experience working with external facilitators, consultants, or vendors, and knowing what to hand off and what to hold.
Comfort using data (survey, performance, calibration) to make decisions, and knowing when the numbers mislead.
Exposure to compensation design or close work with a total rewards team.
Professional French or Portuguese.

You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Director of Corporate FP&A to join Grafana Labs and help build and scale our Corporate FP&A function as the company enters its next phase of growth.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for building the financial infrastructure and operating cadence that power company-wide planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making. You will own key Corporate FP&A processes, including long-range planning, annual planning, consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting, executive and Board reporting, while helping establish the rigor, systems, and insights required to support the company’s next phase of growth.
You will serve as a key partner to Finance, business leaders, and the executive leadership team, translating operating performance into clear financial insights and helping drive fast, informed decisions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned, results-oriented finance leader with strong business judgment, high integrity, and a track record of building scalable processes in complex, high-growth environments. You should be equally comfortable operating strategically and going deep into the details, with the ability to identify what needs to be built and raise the overall standard of Corporate FP&A.
This is an opportunity to build the foundation for Corporate FP&A at a high-growth global company. The role is fully remote and will report to the VP of Finance.
What you'll be doing:
Own the company-wide Corporate FP&A model and planning processes, including long-range planning, annual planning, monthly forecasting, and consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasting.
Lead executive and Board reporting, delivering clear, decision-ready materials and commentary on business performance, key drivers, risks, opportunities, and operating leverage.
Build and continuously refine the company’s KPI and reporting architecture, including scorecards, dashboards, recurring business reviews, and analytical frameworks that leadership and investors can rely on.
Partner closely with Accounting, Tax, and other Finance teams to support month-end close, flux reviews, and financial reporting.
Establish and continuously improve Corporate FP&A operating rhythms, including close-to-insight timelines, clear ownership, metric definitions, and reporting processes designed to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Lead the modernization of Finance processes, forecasting methodologies, and planning frameworks through systems, workflow automation, structured data, and AI to improve accuracy, scalability, and the quality of forward-looking insights as the business evolves.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with business and functional leaders, serving as a trusted partner on financial performance, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making.
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing Corporate FP&A team, and support strategic initiatives such as M&A diligence and integration as needed.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
10+ years of experience across FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, or related disciplines, including meaningful experience at a leading technology company and ideally complementary experience in investment banking or buy-side investing. Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or the broader technology sector is strongly preferred.
Corporate FP&A leadership experience, ideally in a public-company, newly public, or public-company-readiness environment, with exposure to quarterly close, executive reporting, Board reporting, and other rigorous financial operating cadences.
