BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE
Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $155 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
We are looking for a Senior Associate, Technical Operations to act as a hands-on workflow builder and quality owner within our Operations ecosystem. You will not just analyze bottlenecks, you will actively build, test, and maintain automated workflows that power our AI Chat Platform. You will bring a rigorous QA mindset to operational workflows: designing resilient logic, catching edge cases, monitoring failure queues, and deprecating outdated processes before they create friction.
If you are a structured problem solver who loves writing clean SQL, automating workflows via orchestration tools and Python, and treating operational pipelines with engineering-grade quality standards, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Build & Orchestrate Workflows: Design, configure, and maintain automated operational workflows using orchestration platforms (such as n8n or Workato) and custom scripting.
- Own Workflow QA & Lifecycle Hygiene: Apply software QA discipline to operational systems. Define test cases, validate release readiness, monitor regression risks, and systematically "unship" or refactor legacy workflows that no longer serve the ecosystem.
- Investigate & Optimize Pipeline Data: Dig into raw logs and database tables using advanced SQL and Python to identify failure patterns, isolate edge cases, and execute root-cause fixes on failed transactions.
- Leverage Applied AI Pragmatically: Actively utilize modern LLM tools for structured data parsing, regex generation, error-log classification, and accelerating operational investigation.
- Bridge Ops and Architecture: Partner closely with senior engineering and operational stakeholders to translate complex process requirements into scalable technical implementations. Challenge existing processes with data-backed technical arguments.
What You Bring
- 1–3+ Years of Relevant Technical Experience: Background in Technical Operations, Systems Analysis, Data QA, Software QA, or Workflow Automation where you were directly responsible for building, troubleshooting, and maintaining data-driven processes.
- Solid Data Literacy (SQL & Scripting): Demonstrated ability to write performant SQL beyond basic queries (experience with CTEs, window functions, and query optimization). Foundational familiarity with Python or scripting for data manipulation.
- Workflow Automation Mindset: Practical experience working with workflow engines, API integrations, or orchestration platforms (e.g., n8n, Workato, Make, Retool, or equivalent native workflow tools).
- Engineering-Minded QA Instincts: You understand that shipping a workflow is only half the job. You instinctively think about edge-case handling, monitoring, rollback plans, and system dependencies.
- Applied AI Fluency: You go beyond using LLMs for writing copy; you leverage AI tools to parse unstructured error strings, structure disparate datasets, and validate logic.
- Clear Technical Communication: Able to engage deeply with software engineers on architecture while clearly explaining operational impacts to business partners.

Who We Are
At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom.
OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves.
Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles:
We Before Me
,
Do the Right Thing
, and
Get Things Done
. These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse environment for every OK-er.
About the Opportunity
OKX is hiring a Head of Tax Information Reporting to build and run our global tax information reporting function. The function covers the OECD Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF), the EU's DAC8 directive, the amended Common Reporting Standard (CRS 2.0), FATCA, and US Form 1099-DA across multiple reporting entities and a large global user base, with annual reporting across the EU, Brazil, and other CARF jurisdictions.
Most of the work is data: getting the right user, transaction, and balance data out of our platform, reconciling it, and turning it into accurate filings. You will own the relationship with our reporting vendor, the data specification that feeds it, and the quality checks that decide whether a file goes out.
You will run a central function that owns policy, data, vendor, QA, and submission for every entity in scope. Each reporting entity names an accountable signatory. Local compliance and entity leads are consulted on local requirements and support registration where the law requires a local filer. You will work closely with Product, Data Engineering, Finance Operations, Group Tax, Legal, Data Privacy, and the local entity leads.
Location: remote available, with a strong preference for the US or EU. Some travel to OKX offices.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the end-to-end CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA, and 1099-DA reporting cycle for every OKX entity in scope: population definition, self-certification coverage, data extraction and reconciliation, file production, QA, filing, corrections, and tax authority queries.
Define and own the data specification that feeds the tax platform vendor: which users, which transactions, which balances, how they are aggregated by user and jurisdiction, and how they reconcile to the ledger. Work with Product and Data Engineering to build and test the pipeline.
Build and run the QA framework. Reconcile every file to source, validate it against the OECD XML schema and local variants, sample-test self-certification reasonableness checks, and run cross-entity consistency checks for users who hold accounts with more than one OKX entity. Nothing files without your release.
Manage the tax platform vendor: contract scope, delivery calendar, test cycles, output validation, issue resolution, and the annual renewal decision.
Set the group reporting policy and interpret the regimes for OKX: reportable crypto-assets, transfers to unhosted wallets, staking and reward income, retail payment thresholds, residency tie-breakers, and TIN rules, exercising independent technical judgment, supported by Legal and external tax advisers.
Own the global tax self-certification design in onboarding, including validation rules, refresh triggers, and the backlog remediation program for existing users, working with Compliance and Product.
Define the process for restricting undocumented accounts under DAC8 and CARF, including reason codes and customer communications, with restrictions applied automatically in Product and monitored by the central team.
Maintain the entity-by-entity readiness tracker covering domestic enactment, registration, self-certification coverage, and deadlines. Report weekly to the CCO and monthly to the CARF steering committee.
Hands-on leader. Build a small, senior team, scaled through the reporting vendor and outside advisers. Coordinate with and train local compliance and entity leads.
Support independent testing by Compliance Monitoring, Risk, and Internal Audit, and support tax authority examinations with complete, reproducible records.
What We Look For In You
7+ years in tax information reporting, tax operations, or regulatory data reporting at a global exchange, broker, bank, fintech, or digital asset platform, including at least 3 years leading a team.
Hands-on experience in a global, distributed digital asset business: you have worked with exchange or wallet transaction data, multiple legal entities, and users spread across many jurisdictions. This is required.
Strong data skills. You can write SQL, define data specifications for engineers, reconcile large transaction datasets to a ledger, and find the gap when the numbers do not tie. You have built or run data quality controls on reporting output.
Working knowledge of CARF, DAC8, CRS, and FATCA, including due diligence rules, self-certification requirements, reportable transaction categories, and the XML schemas used for exchange. Direct CARF or DAC8 implementation experience is strongly preferred given live DAC8 obligations and upcoming CARF reporting.
Experience managing a tax reporting vendor or reporting platform, including scoping, testing, and holding the vendor to a delivery calendar. the tax platform vendor experience is a plus.
Experience building a function from a small base: writing the policy, designing the controls, hiring the team, and running the first cycle.
Ability to explain data and tax issues plainly to executives, engineers, and local compliance officers, and to run a steering committee.
Judgment on when to escalate, comfort working across US, EU, and Asia time zones, and a record of meeting hard filing deadlines.
Nice to Haves
Experience with US Form 1099-DA or 1099-B production, backup withholding, or Qualified Intermediary reporting.
Experience with the DAC8 60-day account restriction process or equivalent undocumented account remediation at scale.
Familiarity with GDPR requirements for sharing customer data with tax authorities, including data protection impact assessments.
Python or similar scripting for data validation, and experience with data warehouse tools such as Databricks.
Experience working inside a Three Lines Model, including supporting second-line monitoring and Internal Audit.
A CPA, chartered tax adviser, or equivalent; or a degree in data science, computer science, or accounting.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!

About inKind
inKind is transforming the way restaurants access growth capital and build relationships with their guests. Sitting at the intersection of hospitality, fintech, consumer technology, and loyalty, our platform helps restaurant operators grow while giving consumers a better way to discover, experience, and engage with restaurants.
We're entering our next stage of growth, with significant opportunities to improve how we acquire, engage, retain, and monetize customers while building inKind into a recognized consumer brand.
We're looking for a Director of Marketing who is a builder and an operator — someone who can turn growth opportunities into working programs, launch new initiatives, optimize existing channels, and create repeatable systems that drive measurable results.
The Role
The Director of Marketing will lead the execution and optimization of inKind's marketing initiatives across consumer lifecycle, subscriptions, performance marketing, brand, and partner acquisition.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong marketing instincts with analytical thinking, technical fluency, and a bias toward action.
You'll work across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and Operations to identify growth opportunities, build solutions, launch campaigns, measure performance, and continuously improve results.
We are not looking for someone who simply develops strategies, manages agencies, or oversees campaign calendars. We want someone who understands how modern marketing systems work, can get into the details of execution, and knows how to turn ideas into measurable business outcomes.
Three immediate priorities will define the role:
Transform lifecycle marketing:
Move inKind from calendar-driven, ad hoc campaigns to automated, behavior-based customer engagement that increases activation, frequency, retention, and lifetime value.
Launch and scale consumer subscriptions:
Build and execute the go-to-market, acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention programs needed to establish a successful subscription business.
Integrate brand into B2B performance marketing:
Evolve inKind's transaction-focused restaurant acquisition channels by incorporating stronger brand storytelling, differentiated positioning, and creative that builds trust while improving commercial performance.
Beyond these priorities, you'll continuously identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency, customer experience, and growth.
What You'll Own
Build an Automated Lifecycle Marketing Engine
Lead the transition from one-off, calendar-driven campaigns to a scalable, automated lifecycle marketing operation.
Audit existing customer communications, journeys, segmentation, and engagement performance to identify gaps and opportunities.
Build and execute automated customer journeys across onboarding, activation, engagement, repeat usage, retention, and reactivation.
Use behavioral data, transaction history, customer preferences, and predictive signals to trigger relevant, personalized communications.
Work directly with Braze, Snowflake, and internal teams to improve audience segmentation, orchestration, and campaign automation.
Develop testing frameworks across messaging, creative, timing, offers, and channels.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automated agents to improve personalization, campaign execution, reporting, and optimization.
Establish clear performance dashboards and continuously improve conversion, engagement, purchase frequency, and customer lifetime value.
The outcome:
A lifecycle marketing engine that consistently drives customer behavior and revenue without relying on constant manual campaign creation.
Lead the Launch and Growth of Consumer Subscriptions
Own the marketing execution behind the introduction and scaling of inKind's consumer subscription offering.
Partner with Product, Finance, Data, and Engineering to develop and execute the subscription go-to-market plan.
Translate the subscription value proposition into clear positioning, messaging, creative, and customer-facing experiences.
Build the acquisition strategy across existing users, paid channels, referrals, restaurant partnerships, and owned media.
Develop conversion journeys that move existing inKind customers into paid subscriptions.
Execute subscription onboarding, activation, engagement, renewal, and retention programs.
Test pricing presentation, promotional offers, trial structures, messaging, and conversion flows in partnership with Product.
Develop targeted campaigns for different customer segments based on behavior, frequency, and potential subscription value.
Monitor subscriber acquisition cost, conversion, activation, churn, retention, and subscription lifetime value.
Identify opportunities to reduce churn and increase subscriber engagement through automated lifecycle programs.
The outcome:
A successfully launched subscription offering with a repeatable, measurable acquisition and retention engine.
Bring Brand Storytelling Into B2B Performance Marketing
Evolve inKind's existing restaurant acquisition marketing from primarily transaction-focused messaging into a more differentiated, brand-led growth channel.
Evaluate current B2B paid acquisition campaigns, messaging, creative, audiences, and funnel performance.
Develop compelling stories that communicate why restaurants partner with inKind, beyond the immediate financial transaction.
Build campaigns that highlight restaurant success stories, operator experiences, hospitality expertise, and the broader value of the inKind platform.
Work with Sales and Business Development to understand restaurant decision-making, objections, and buying motivations.
Introduce brand-led creative and messaging into existing paid channels without sacrificing lead generation performance.
Develop and execute structured tests comparing transactional, educational, and brand-led messaging.
Build content and creative that can be reused across paid acquisition, landing pages, email, sales enablement, and partner communications.
Improve conversion through stronger positioning, creative testing, audience targeting, and landing-page optimization.
Measure the impact of brand-led marketing on lead quality, acquisition efficiency, conversion, and partner engagement.
The outcome:
A more differentiated and effective B2B acquisition engine that strengthens inKind's brand while continuing to deliver measurable commercial results.
Drive Consumer Growth and Marketing Performance
Own the continuous improvement of inKind's consumer acquisition and engagement programs.
Identify opportunities to improve acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention across the customer journey.
Build and optimize campaigns across paid, organic, referral, partnership, and owned channels.
Analyze customer behavior, funnel performance, and cohort data to identify growth opportunities.
Develop and execute experiments across audiences, offers, creative, messaging, and conversion experiences.
Work with Product to improve customer journeys and reduce friction in the app and purchase experience.
Identify opportunities to use inKind's restaurant network as an acquisition and engagement channel.
Allocate marketing resources toward initiatives demonstrating the strongest incremental impact.
Maintain clear accountability for customer acquisition cost, conversion, frequency, retention, and lifetime value.
Build Scalable Marketing Systems and Automation
Help modernize how Marketing operates by reducing manual processes and improving the speed and effectiveness of execution.
Identify repetitive marketing activities that can be automated or simplified.
Leverage Braze, Snowflake, AI tools, and other technologies to improve campaign execution and decision-making.
Partner with Engineering and Data to improve the availability and use of customer data.
Develop reusable campaign frameworks, audience segments, reporting dashboards, and experimentation processes.
Introduce AI-driven workflows where they can meaningfully improve productivity, personalization, or performance.
Create processes that allow the marketing function to execute more effectively as the business scales.
Lead Marketing Execution and Cross-Functional Delivery
Take ownership of delivering marketing initiatives from initial concept through execution and optimization.
Translate business priorities into clear marketing initiatives with defined owners, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.
Lead and develop marketing team members while remaining directly involved in execution.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and Operations to remove blockers and deliver results.
Manage agencies, creative resources, vendors, and marketing technology partners where appropriate.
Establish clear operating rhythms for campaign planning, execution, experimentation, and performance reviews.
Maintain visibility into what is working, what is not, and where the team should focus next.
Balance longer-term marketing improvements with immediate commercial priorities.
Qualifications
7+ years of marketing experience, including experience owning and executing growth initiatives.
Experience within a high-growth consumer technology, marketplace, fintech, hospitality, loyalty, subscription, or e-commerce business.
Demonstrated success building and optimizing automated lifecycle marketing programs.
Strong experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, ideally Braze or similar.
Experience launching or scaling consumer products, subscription offerings, membership programs, or recurring-revenue initiatives.
Strong understanding of paid acquisition, conversion optimization, customer segmentation, retention, and LTV.
Ability to use data and analytics tools to evaluate customer behavior and marketing performance.
Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to implement marketing initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to develop and test brand-led creative within performance marketing channels.
Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing marketing resources.
Strong communication, prioritization, and project execution skills.
Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, AI-powered marketing workflows, or other technical marketing capabilities is a plus.

ABOUT US
Circle is building the world’s leading AI-powered, all-in-one platform for digital businesses. We make it possible for creators, coaches, educators, and businesses to bring together their audience with engaging discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, and payments — all in one place, all under their own brand.
We’re proud to be a fully remote company of around 270 (and growing!) team members from 30+ countries around the world. We seek exceptional individuals around the world, set them up to do the best work of their lives, and in turn, create a meaningful impact in their own lives. We don't track hours, but we do manage for high expectations very closely. We collaborate across time zones, are highly async, and like to document a lot.
Twice a year, we bring the whole company together in beautiful places around the world for our company offsites. So far, we’ve hosted offsites in Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, Italy, Ireland, and more, with still more to come!
Check out our Careers https://careers.circle.so/ page for more about working at Circle.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re building something game-changing at Circle: a discovery marketplace where millions can find creators, communities, and products to help them achieve their highest personal and professional goals.
You’ll own generating and growing the demand engine for the Discover marketplace https://circle.so/discover. Think of a Pinterest, Reddit or Instagram-style product, reimagined with a mission to help people achieve their goals instead of distracting them with endless doom scrolling. Through Discover, you will be building technology that could help millions of people grow, self-actualize, and live their best lives.
As the Growth Lead for Discover https://circle.so/discover, you’ll report directly to the GM of Discover and work closely with Circle's co-founders to bring this vision to life. Day to day you'll work with the product team for Discover, our paid media team, data team, brand and design studio, lifecycle marketing, partnerships, and more.
This is a fully remote role, open to candidates in any North American time zone.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Own growth for the Discover marketplace. Drive traffic to Discover, experiment with how consumers find and engage with Discover, and grow its GMV and transaction volume.
- A/B testing and experimentation. Run experiments to better acquire, engage, and retain traffic. Test what people see when they arrive on Discover, the algorithms behind recommendations, and marketplace structure.
- Build Circle's end-to-end lifecycle email programs. Build the acquisition funnel for Discover by setting up a recommendations newsletter, creating offers to acquire subscribers, and developing email programs to turn visitors into repeat buyers.
- Build an SEO program. Grow Discover's organic surfaces and SEO / AEO across product pages and distribution partnerships with the creators already building on Circle.
- Drive creator success on the marketplace. Help creators listed on Discover succeed by sending them buyers who convert and stay, diagnosing which categories generate traffic but underconvert, and applying those learnings across the marketplace.
- Build the team's reporting. Track funnel performance by category, cohort retention of Discover-sourced members, and what individual creators earn from the marketplace, and own reporting on performance and recommendations to leadership.
- Help shape and execute Discover's growth strategy. Partner with the GM of Discover and co-founders to shape growth priorities and collaborate with the product team to evolve the product.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- A track record of owning a revenue or GMV number across multiple channels at one time, where you were able to grow the number and deliver real results. Ideally, you can walk us through what moved the number, what worked, and what you got wrong. This matters a lot more to us than your title or how many years you've been doing this.
- Experience with email and lifecycle marketing, including building a program from scratch. You should have a clear view of what it should be judged on beyond opens and clicks.
- Experience acquiring email subscribers profitably and growing their value over time. This mechanic is going to be key here: bring someone in for less than they'll eventually spend, then earning more from them by delivering real value to both them and the creator.
- Comfortable being hands-on as a player-coach. This includes writing the emails, building the pages, talking to the creators, setting up reporting, and reading the results yourself.
- Deep understanding of marketplaces and/or businesses with strong network effects. Ideally, you’re someone who obsesses about marketplace network effects, and shows strong judgment and opinions on growing the demand side of a marketplace.
- Learn fast, experiment aggressively, and thrive in a highly dynamic environment. You’ll need to be comfortable running a lot of experiments and letting the results settle the argument, including the ones that don't work (which will be many of them in the beginning).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity. You’ll need to learn and pick up new technologies when projects require it.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (CEFR C2 or equivalent https://englishonline.britishcouncil.org/free-english-level-test-cefr-2/), as most collaboration at Circle happens asynchronously.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Circle offers U.S.-benchmarked compensation globally, equity in the company with ongoing refresh grants, and 35 days of paid time off each year.
We’re a remote-only team that comes together twice a year for company retreats in incredible destinations around the world. - ElevenCreative empowers creators and marketers to generate and edit speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages.
- ElevenAPI gives developers access to our leading AI audio foundational models.
Everything we do is the result of the creativity and commitment of our team - builders doing the best work of their lives. We are researchers, engineers, and operators. IOI medalists and ex-founders. If you want to work hard and create lasting positive impact, we want to hear from you.
HOW WE WORK
- High-velocity: Rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, and minimal bureaucracy.
- Impact not job titles: We don’t have job titles. Instead, it’s about the impact you have. No task is above or beneath you.
- AI first: We use AI to move faster with higher-quality results. We do this across the whole company—from engineering to growth to operations.
- Excellence everywhere: Everything we do should match the quality of our AI models.
- Global team: We prioritize your talent, not your location.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Corporate Account Manager Lead, you'll lead a team of Account Managers across our highest-velocity, highest-volume post-sales segment. You'll balance people leadership, strategic direction, and hands-on customer impact - driving excellence in post-sales outcomes and ensuring your team consistently delivers measurable value across a large, fast-moving book of accounts.
This is a revenue-critical role at an inflection point: ElevenLabs is scaling fast, and Corporate is where that scale shows up first - more accounts, more velocity, and less room for anything that doesn't repeat well. The decisions you make around segmentation, playbook design, and how AI agents and automation get embedded into everyday AM workflows will define how this motion performs as volume keeps growing. Making ElevenAgents the agent of choice across the Corporate portfolio is a core part of that expansion playbook.
You will:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Corporate Account Management team, owning team quota performance, retention, expansion, and cross sell goals across a high-volume book of business.
- Drive revenue outcomes as a core mandate - building a team culture where expansions and cross-sells are owned with the same rigor as any quota-carrying sales function.
- Design and implement repeatable, scalable playbooks for renewals, expansion, and adoption that hold up across hundreds of accounts, not just a handful.
- Embed AI agents and automation into AM workflows by default, so the team can manage growing volume without simply adding headcount.
- Champion AI fluency across the team: set expectations, build capability, and create an environment where every AM is actively experimenting with and adopting AI-powered approaches to their work.
- Set strategic direction for how the Corporate segment is structured and staffed as the business scales, partnering closely with RevOps, Comp/Finance, and CX leadership.
- Represent the voice of the customer in leadership discussions, influencing roadmap, tooling, and revenue strategy.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Customer Success, or post-sales roles within SaaS, ideally with meaningful exposure to high-volume, transactional or corporate-segment books of business.
- Proven track record of owning and exceeding revenue targets (renewals, expansion, NRR/GRR, cross sell), with a clear commercial instinct.
- 2+ years of direct people leadership experience - managing AMs/CSMs, driving team quota, and developing talent through coaching and enablement. Passion for building a high-performance, feedback-driven culture grounded in accountability and customer impact.
- Deep AI fluency: you use AI tools in your own daily workflow, understand what AI agents and automation can do, and are ready to lead a team through a meaningful shift in how work gets designed and executed.
- Strong player-coach mindset: comfortable managing accounts directly while leading others to excel in their own portfolios.
- Expertise in post-sales methodologies and best practices (e.g. success planning, adoption frameworks, ROI storytelling) adapted for a high-volume, scaled motion.
- Strategic operational thinking: able to make sound calls on segmentation, playbook design, and process at scale as account volume grows.
- Strong analytical and operational skills: adept at using data to identify performance trends, optimize workflows, and forecast outcomes across a large book.
- Bonus: Hands-on with tools (ElevenLabs, Salesforce, Gong, Lemlist, Sigma) and capable of improving data quality, visibility, and usage insights across the team.
LOCATION
This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in the U.S., with the ability to operate between GMT-4 and GMT-7 timezones required. We'd love for you to be based in New York or San Francisco where you can work out of our office, but it's not a requirement.

As a Merchant Onboarding Specialist, you will be a senior member of the onboarding team, owning the activation of SME merchants across our dynamic markets from approval to go-live. Beyond managing your own portfolio, you will take the lead on complex and escalated cases, drive improvements to how the team onboards merchants, and help Executives on the team grow and perform. The focus is on faster, higher-quality activations, strong brand consistency, and lasting relationships with Tabby's partners that support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
What you will be doing
Own end-to-end activation for a portfolio of merchants, including more complex accounts with higher revenue, multiple stores or channels, or non-standard integrations. Make sure each partner is fully configured with the right access, settings, and dashboards before go-live.
Act as the escalation point for the team on stalled, high-priority, or time-sensitive cases. Coordinate directly with Risk, Legal, BD, and Product to resolve them within SLA.
Analyze trends across the pipeline to find root causes, such as recurring issues, unclear requirements, or integration friction. Propose fixes and help implement them with the relevant teams.
Lead the investigation of technical and backend integration issues across platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, custom API integrations). Work with Tech and Integrations teams to resolve them and document repeatable solutions.
Monitor post-activation performance, including first transactions, inactivity, and early churn signals. Proactively re-engage merchants who are at risk.
Ensure Tabby's online presence on merchant websites, before and after go-live, is aligned with brand guidelines. Set the quality standard the team follows.
Own and continuously improve CRM processes, automations, and data integrity. Act as the team's go-to person for pipeline hygiene and reporting accuracy.
Lead or contribute to cross-functional improvement initiatives, such as leading projects with BD and Scoring, and onboarding workflow.
Support Merchant Onboarding Executives through case guidance, quality reviews, and knowledge sharing. Help onboard new joiners and create or maintain playbooks and SOPs.
Step in to cover workload during peaks or absences so the team keeps delivering against its targets.
Represent the onboarding team in cross-functional discussions, bringing the merchant's perspective and the team's operational insight into decisions.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Hold a Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in merchant onboarding, account management, merchant success, or a similar operations role, ideally in fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
Experienced in Business Development, sales, customer success, or cold calling, with confidence and comfort in outbound outreach and in re-engaging unresponsive merchants.
Are fully proficient in written and spoken English and Arabic.
Have a proven track record of hitting or exceeding conversion, SLA, or activation targets.
Have hands-on experience with CRMs and workflow automations, and enjoy improving how a process runs, not just running it.
Have a keen interest in e-commerce and are comfortable learning technical topics. Prior integration experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
Have experience coaching or guiding junior team members, formally or informally.
Are self-driven and structured, and can prioritize effectively when handling multiple escalations at once.
Work in an OKR-driven, process-oriented way to deliver on business goals.
To be successful in this role, we believe you will have:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to handle difficult merchant conversations and influence internal teams without direct authority.
A problem-solving mindset: you look beyond the individual case to the pattern behind it, and you push for the fix.
Strong attention to detail combined with the judgment to know when to escalate, when to act, and when to change the process.
Calm ownership in ambiguous situations, and the credibility to be the person others on the team turn to.
A genuine interest in fintech and e-commerce, and in building an onboarding experience that scales.

Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
The Role
Every payment we process runs on infrastructure we built. At Checkout.com http://Checkout.com, the Cloud Platform team owns the cloud foundations that global payments depend on: a large multi-account AWS estate, a growing Azure platform, and the networking and connectivity that reaches card schemes and banks worldwide. We are genuinely multi-cloud, and we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer who is too - a strong generalist who treats infrastructure as a software problem and can deliver from week one.
This is a hands-on senior role in an established, fast-moving team. Everything we run is defined in code, deployed through pipelines, and reviewed like software. You will bring deep cloud expertise across AWS and Azure and pair it with a genuine software engineering mindset: you write Terraform modules others build on, you automate away toil rather than documenting it, and you treat the platform as a product with users, SLOs, and a roadmap.
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you are responsible for the technical delivery of your team's services. You will work closely with your Engineering Manager to shape direction, manage dependencies across pillars, and ensure our platform meets the standards a regulated payments business demands.
What we are looking for:
Deep AWS expertise: Advanced, hands-on experience designing and operating production infrastructure in AWS at enterprise scale: multi-account architectures (Control Tower, Organizations, SCPs), IAM, KMS, and the core compute, storage, and security services that a large regulated estate runs on. You should have a proven track record of delivering resilient, multi-region architectures.
Azure experience: Real production experience with Azure alongside AWS: landing zones, VNet architectures, Entra ID, and the Azure resource and governance model. You understand where the two clouds differ and can design well for both rather than forcing one cloud's patterns onto the other.
Software engineering mindset: You treat infrastructure as software. Expert-level Terraform: reusable modules, secure state management, and disciplined code review. You are comfortable in a Git-based workflow with CI/CD (we use Spacelift), and you reach for Python or similar to automate what others would handle with a runbook. No ClickOps.
Strong cloud networking: Confident designing and debugging in a complex network estate: VPC and VNet design, hub-and-spoke and Transit Gateway or Cloud WAN architectures, DNS, private connectivity (PrivateLink, Private Link), and enough routing knowledge to own connectivity issues end to end rather than escalate them.
Kubernetes: Solid experience running containerised workloads in production, ideally on EKS/AKS: cluster lifecycle, workload deployment patterns, and the operational realities of keeping Kubernetes healthy at scale.
Security and compliance awareness: Experience operating in regulated environments. You understand why change control, least privilege, and auditability matter, and you design controls in rather than bolting them on. Familiarity with PCI DSS is a strong plus.
Engineering excellence: A focus on observability and measurement: you instrument what you build and answer operational questions with data rather than opinion.
Leadership and mentorship: A natural ability to guide and mentor peers, translate ambiguous problem definitions into actionable technical plans, and raise the bar through your code and your reviews.
Pragmatic problem solver: You understand when to move fast (creating tech debt) and when to move right (paying it off). You are a cornerstone in incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
Experience: 5+ years in cloud engineering roles with significant AWS depth. We need someone who can hit the ground running: comfortable joining a complex, established estate and delivering meaningful work in their first weeks, not their first quarter. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is useful but not required; we care about what you can build.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Lead Design & Delivery: Take ownership of large-scale platform projects end to end, from architecture through Terraform to production, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-optimised.
Build the paved road: Design the platform primitives that every product team at Checkout.com http://Checkout.com builds on, so that the secure path is also the easy path.
Architectural Influence: Work with Engineering Managers and architects to refine requirements and shape the technical direction of the platform, documenting significant decisions as ADRs.
Operational SME: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for numerous team-owned services, providing advanced operational support and ensuring high availability for our global payment systems.
Evangelise Best Practices: Produce exemplary code and documentation that inspires others. You will be responsible for spreading best practices and standards across your group.
Manage Dependencies: Navigate the organisation to manage technical dependencies inside and outside your pillar, optimising for both delivery speed and business outcomes.
Foster Culture: Embody Checkout Operating Principles, using them to shape the group’s culture and acting as an example of efficiency and professional excellence.
AI Integration: Proactively explore and implement AI-driven automation to enhance infrastructure efficiency and team productivity.
