Action1 is an autonomous patch management platform trusted by many Fortune 500 companies. Cloud-native, infinitely scalable, highly secure, and configurable in 5 minutes, it just works and is always free for the first 200 endpoints, with no functional limits. By pioneering autonomous OS and third-party application patching, Action1 helps organizations eliminate routine work, reduce ransomware and security risks, and protect the digital employee experience. It provides real-time vulnerability assessment and remediation across remote and on-site endpoints without requiring a VPN, while peer-to-peer patch distribution reduces bandwidth use on local networks.
In 2026, Action1 was recognized as the fastest-growing founder-led cybersecurity company in America on the Inc. 5000. Action1 is led by industry veterans Alex Vovk and Mike Walters, American entrepreneurs who founded Netwrix, which has grown into an industry-leading, multibillion-dollar cybersecurity company.
The Role
We are looking for a senior Applied AI Engineer to join Operations and improve how our business teams work. You will work directly with Support, Finance, Sales Ops, HR, IT, and Legal to turn repetitive tasks and disconnected workflows into reliable AI-powered tools and automations.
We build AI to solve real problems, not to follow hype or impress investors. You will investigate how work gets done, propose improvements, and own technical decisions and delivery. We expect you to take initiative, deliver useful results quickly, and improve solutions through short iterations and feedback.
What you’ll do
Work with teams to understand their workflows, find bottlenecks, and propose improvements. Agree process changes with the COO and relevant teams before implementation.
Build AI tools and automations that connect business systems and handle tasks such as document processing or ticket triage. Deliver working versions quickly and improve them through feedback.
Prioritize opportunities by time saved, error reduction, and risk. Measure whether solutions deliver those benefits, reduce costs, and are actually used.
Run and support what you build. Test AI outputs, keep integrations reliable as systems change, and manage failures, latency, and cost.
Protect customer and employee data through limited access, minimal exposure, and redaction before model calls. Work with IT and Security on safeguards, audit trails, and human review where needed.
Evaluate AI tools and vendors, and recommend when to use an existing solution versus building one.
Document workflows and runbooks, train teams to use the solutions, and help them identify and request further automations.
What we’re looking for
4+ years in operations engineering, business systems, automation, or a similar role, with 1+ years building production LLM or AI-enabled workflows.
Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms and REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and OAuth.
Strong working knowledge of prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, and agent/tool-use patterns.
Proficiency in Python or JavaScript, and comfort with cloud services; AWS preferred.
Experience with at least one major business system, such as NetSuite, Salesforce or ServiceNow.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and explain trade-offs to non-technical leaders.
Sound judgment and practical knowledge of AI security, privacy, and data governance, including least-privilege access, sensitive-data protection, data minimization, and approval controls for sensitive actions.
Nice to have
Experience with Microsoft 365 / Teams integrations and Microsoft Graph.
Background in finance, revenue, or support operations processes.
Familiarity with process mining, BI tools, or SQL.
Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks.
Relevant AWS, Azure, or security certifications.
Familiarity with IT management, RMM, or endpoint security concepts.
Experience shipping software with coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex, including harnesses, development loops, reusable skills, and context and specification management.
Hands-on ownership of production backend services/APIs, with practical database and container experience.
Systematic AI evaluation using datasets, metrics, baselines, reproducible experiments, and regression detection.
Deeper ML foundations, statistical experimentation, and model training or fine-tuning.
Experience with runtime isolation and sandboxing for sensitive execution.
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days:
Understand key workflows and systems, and deliver a prioritized automation backlog
First 90 days:
Ship 3-5 production automations or integrations with measured impact, and publish AI usage and data-handling standards
First year:
Establish a repeatable intake-to-deployment process, show clear gains in hours saved and error reduction, and make AI tooling a trusted part of daily operations
How We Measure Impact
Hours saved, cycle-time reduction, error and rework rates, automation reliability (uptime and failure rate), AI cost per task, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Benefits
Fully remote work with flexibility to support your work-life balance.
A collaborative environment that empowers you to own your domain and implement best practices.
Stable income, benefits, flexible working hours, and opportunities for career advancement.
Friendly, professional colleagues who are eager to support you and help you grow.
Engaging challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Crystalia Glass LLC is a U.S.-based manufacturer and provider of premium glass solutions, specializing in custom glass partitions for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. We operate a full-cycle model — from design and manufacturing to sales, delivery, and installation — with production facilities in the United States and Europe.
The U.S. market is our core focus. Crystalia Glass is a stable, scaling business, serving B2C, B2B, and B2G clients across multiple states. We combine strong product quality, competitive pricing, high service standards, and operational efficiency to set a benchmark within our industry.
We are strengthening our commercial function and are looking for a Sales Enablement Manager to own the quality of sales execution across the full funnel, from first contact and needs discovery to closing and order handover.
This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role with no direct reports. Sales Enablement Manager will diagnose why deals are lost, coach sales teams, build and adapt sales standards and CRM stage logic, and embed AI into everyday sales work. Success depends on driving adoption across sales teams and measuring real change in sales representatives’ behavior and conversion.
Employment Type:
-
Full-time 8.30 am - 5 pm, NY (EST zone).
- Remote work.
- B2B contract (sole proprietorship status or corporate entity).
Key responsibilities:
Analyze performance
Review won, lost and stalled deals across funnel stages, matching calls and messages against CRM history and using AI to flag missed questions, weak arguments, unhandled objections and missing next steps.
Assess each sales stage (discovery, qualification, value presentation, objection handling, negotiation, closing and follow-up), including how scripts are adapted to the client and whether call goals are achieved.
Identify root causes of performance gaps (skills, knowledge, process or tools) and recommend targeted fixes.
Develop the team
Run one-to-one and team call and deal reviews, role-plays (including AI-simulated buyers and objections), live call observation and product knowledge checks.
Build individual development plans and coach sales representatives on specific sales behaviors.
Coach team leads to apply shared quality criteria in daily work with their teams.
Track results
Track whether new behaviors and AI workflows are applied in real deals and how they affect conversion, deal outcomes and time spent.
Standards and CRM
Audit existing sales standards for gaps, contradictions and requirements that don’t help the sale.
Write and update sales standards: scripts, objection guides, follow-up rules, contact quality criteria and product instructions, as well as CRM stage rules — the goal, entry and exit criteria, required data, sales representative actions and next steps for each stage, ownership at handover, and SLAs agreed with the process owner (response time, working hours, exceptions and escalation).
Pilot and roll out new standards: incorporate feedback from sales representatives and team leads, agree commercial rules with sales leadership, write requirements for CRM fields, prompts, notifications, reports and automation, take part in acceptance testing, and train sales representatives after changes.
Monitor adherence to standards in the CRM: overdue tasks, missing next steps, unconfirmed stage moves, missing loss reasons and handover quality.
AI in sales work
Build reusable AI workflows for sales representatives and team leads (call and meeting preparation, meeting summaries, follow-up messages, discovery question planning and checking proposals against client and product data), train sales teams to use them, observe real usage and fix errors.
Work with AI agents and bots; maintain instructions, templates and knowledge-base materials.
Use AI to help sales representatives plan next steps in the CRM, making sure they review every AI-drafted message or data update before it goes to a client or changes key deal information.
Build enablement assets
Build and maintain the team skills map, call and deal scorecard, prioritized list of loss reasons and a library of examples and exercises.
Requirements
Experience in sales enablement, sales coaching or sales development in a comparable market, with personal responsibility for identifying gaps in sales representatives’ performance.
Experience with a complex physical product with a long sales cycle, ideally in architectural glass, interior systems or a related field.
Deep understanding of the full B2B/B2C sales cycle, including negotiation, closing and repeat sales.
Strong understanding of both phone sales and in-person sales in a showroom.
Strong call and deal review skills: specific feedback, structured practice and verification that skills transfer to real work; experience coaching team leads to apply shared quality criteria.
Experience writing sales standards and driving their adoption through team leads and sales representatives, without direct authority over the sales team; clear and concise writing; strong team player.
Confident CRM use at the level of funnel, stages, tasks, ownership, SLAs and data quality; ability to write change requirements.
Proven, hands-on use of AI in sales work
, with at least one implemented workflow showing a clear task, data, personal contribution, users and result. Fluent with AI tools, structured instructions, files and knowledge bases, and able to train others to use them; experience with any specific AI product is not required.
Strong analytical skills: able to measure the impact of new tools and processes with before/after comparison, compare conversion rates on a like-for-like basis (same funnel stage, period and lead sources), recognize when there is too little data for a reliable conclusion, and be clear about what the numbers do and do not prove.
Fluent English (C1/C2).
Benefits
Competitive base salary + performance-based bonuses.
Full ownership of the sales enablement function in a fast-growing U.S. company, with the freedom to build it the right way.
Direct influence on how the sales team sells, with results visible in conversion and deal outcomes.
Hands-on work with AI in real sales processes, not pilots that stay on paper.
Joining a highly professional and dynamic team.
Exciting experience working with prestigious clients in the US market.

About Paired
Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that specializes in pairing remote work with top-tier talent!
We are dedicated to connecting talented individuals with remarkable companies in need of their skills. Our goal is to create fulfilling job opportunities for professionals around the world.
The client
Advertising and consultancy services company working with RevOps infrastructure for B2B teams. They build the systems that make growth work.
The founder has reached the point most agency founders reach eventually. Their days are full of client emails, chasing the team, managing delivery risk and keeping projects from slipping. None of it is optional and all of it is in their head. The problem is not only the hours it eats. It is that managing risk and creating growth are opposite modes of thinking, and they cannot do both well in the same week.
They're hiring the person who takes operations off them.
Why this role is part-time, and what it becomes
Right now there genuinely is not forty hours a week of work here. We are coming out of a contraction and back into expansion, and they would rather hire someone part-time and pay them properly than hire full-time and have them sitting idle, which is unfair to both of us.
The plan is that this grows. Part-time now, full-time as the client base expands, then Head of Operations. They're not dangling that vaguely: they'll will set out the milestones, what hitting them does to your compensation, and roughly when they expect each step. You should hold them to it.
What they're asking for in return is commitment. If you take this and a full-time offer appears a month later and you disappear, it damages us. If you are doing one other part-time role alongside this, that is fine and I understand it. What I do not want is someone juggling five clients who gives this one the leftovers. I have seen fractional done badly and I would rather pay for focus.
What you will own
Client and stakeholder management
Be the operational point of contact for our clients, so that I am not
Keep every client informed, handle the back and forth, and escalate to me only what genuinely needs me
We currently run around four clients at once, a mix of large and small projects. Six is the most we have ever carried. As we scale, the model is roughly one project manager per five clients
Project delivery
Own timelines, scope and deliverables across those accounts
Know the status of everything without being asked, and chase it when it slips
Spot delivery risk early and bring me a proposed fix rather than a problem
Team coordination
Keep the team pointed at the right work and hold them to what they committed to
Run the follow-up so that nothing dies in a thread
Revenue operations
Keep our pipeline, CRM and reporting accurate and current
Build and tidy the systems and automations that hold delivery together
Turn what is currently in my head into documented, repeatable process
Requirements
Who this is for
You have done revenue operations or operational project management in an agency or client services environment, and have carried multiple accounts at once
You are comfortable being the operational face to clients. This is a stakeholder-facing role, not a back-office one
Excellent written English. We work with international clients and are moving into the US market
You are organised to the point of being slightly annoying about it, and you follow through without being chased
You can work independently. There is no operations team to lean on. For a while, you are it
You want this to grow into something bigger, and you are willing to commit while it does
Who this is not for
You are a fractional operator running five clients and this would be number six
You want a purely strategic seat. For now this is hands-on: emails, trackers, chasing, process writing
You need a manager checking your work
You are looking for full-time immediately and would leave the moment one appeared
Benefits
Part-time, remote, on a contractor basis. We will agree the weekly hours and the working pattern together, but you will need reliable overlap with Barcelona for client calls and with the team. If you are in Latin America, your mornings cover our afternoons, which works well, and it positions us for the US clients we are moving towards.
Growth path for full-time and Head of Operations role
Compensation for part-time up to USD1.5k/month
What success looks like
The founder stops being the person clients email first
Projects land on their dates, and when they will not, they hear it early with a plan attached
Our operations run on documented process rather than on my memory
The founder spends his weeks on expansion instead of firefighting

ABOUT MOTHERDUCK
Don’t let the quirky name fool you: At MotherDuck, we’re on a mission to make data warehousing fun, frictionless, and ducking awesome for developers and data practitioners building blazing fast internal and customer-facing analytics experiences. We're building a cloud-hosted version of DuckDB, working hand-in-hand with the creators of the fastest-growing and fastest-improving query engine on the planet. Unlike other databases, MotherDuck was architected to unify local development with cloud operations to bridge the gap between software and data engineering workflows. Our team is a mix of thoughtful, passionate, and empathetic data industry veterans.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a growth marketer with a hacker brain to own the systems that make our growth engine run... lifecycle, marketing ops, and the data and automation underneath both.
If you're the person who looks at a list of signups and immediately wonders what you could learn by enriching it, splitting it five ways, and testing a different nurture on each... we'd love to meet you. You'll build the segments, lists and audiences everything else depends on, hack and build growth agents, run Clay like a product you own, and use data to push our lifecycle programs 10x further than they are today.
This isn't a role where you wait for a ticket. You'll spot the next enrichment worth testing, propose the workflow that saves the team ten hours a week, and ship it. Some folks call this kind of work go-to-market engineering. We think of it as lifecycle marketing with real technical chops.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Lifecycle marketing, the backbone
- Become the team's expert on our audiences, and build the segments, lists and audiences that every email, campaign, webinar and nurture runs on
- Design lifecycle programs across signup, activation, re-engagement and expansion, and test them relentlessly with real data
- Use product usage and conversion patterns to decide who gets what message, when, and on which channel
- Report honestly on what moved the number and what didn't... including your own tests
Growth agents and Clay
- Own Clay end to end. You're the person who pushes it forward, not someone who has access to it
- Test new enrichments, scoring and signals, keep what works and kill what doesn't
- Build growth agents and automated workflows that let a three-person team move like a much bigger one
- Feed better audiences to Google, Meta, LinkedIn and email, in partnership with the performance marketer
Marketing ops
- Configure webinars and forms, and run the ops side of events: registration flows, segmentation, follow-up and handoff to sales
- Keep our tools, data and routing clean so the team trusts what they see
- Proactively propose improvements to how we work. If something's slow, manual or broken, we expect you to say so and fix it
WHAT PEOPLE SHOULD BE SAYING IF YOU'RE DOING DUCKING AWESOME
- "I didn't ask for that segment, but it's exactly what I needed for the campaign."
- "Every audience I get from them converts better than the last one."
- "The leads from the webinar showed up enriched, routed and ready to go. I didn't have to dig for anything."
- "Wait, marketing built that agent? Can we borrow it?"
- "Clay does things now nobody thought it could, and our lifecycle emails actually get replies."
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You want to hack and build growth agents. This is the heart of the role. You've used Claude Code, agents or similar tooling to automate real growth work, and you're itching to build more
- A passion for understanding user groups. You want to be the expert on our audiences... who they are, how they behave, and how to segment them so every email and nurture lands with the right people
- A systems brain. You see marketing as a set of inputs, workflows and feedback loops, and you love making them run better
- Lifecycle experience with numbers attached. You've owned segments, nurtures or re-engagement programs and can tell us what they did to activation, pipeline or revenue
- Proactive by default. You find the next test, enrichment or fix before anyone asks
- High-growth company background, ideally somewhere with a technical or developer audience
- Honest about results. You'll call out a losing test, including your own, as quickly as a winner
- Clay experience, ideally a workflow you built and can walk us through
- HubSpot experience at the workflow and data level
- Comfortable pulling and analyzing your own data, SQL included
- Webinar or event ops experience tied to pipeline
- Familiarity with data practitioners or developers as an audience
OUR INTERVIEW PROCESS
We like to keep things transparent, so here's what to expect if you apply...
1. Discovery call with our recruiting team to get acquainted and make sure we're a mutual fit
2. A conversation with our Growth lead to learn about the systems you've built, how you think about audiences and segments, and what excites you about growth agents
3. A deeper conversation with our Growth team covering lifecycle strategy, how you'd test and measure a program, and a walkthrough of a workflow or agent you've built
4. A final conversation with our CEO focused on values and vision
PLEASE APPLY
Does this role sound appealing to you, but you’re missing some of the requirements or don’t quite think you’re qualified? Please apply anyway. Research has shown that underrepresented groups in technology often shy away from roles which aren’t a 100% match. We aim to build a diverse team and will strongly consider applicants who bring many of the requirements plus have other experiences which round out their qualifications.
MotherDuck is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
Data Center Strategy & Commercial Management Specialist
Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a
Data Center Strategy & Commercial Management Specialist
to support the ongoing evolution of SIE’s global colocation footprint. This role sits within the Technical Operations department of the Global Developer Future Technology Group (GDFT), the organization responsible for building and operating the data center infrastructure that underpins PlayStation’s Cloud Gaming, Broadcast, and Developer Platform services worldwide. Our colocation environments host critical workloads ranging from real-time game streaming to content distribution, developer build systems, and testing environments.
The successful candidate will lead the strategic planning, commercial management, and capacity management of SIE’s global colocation estate, ensuring infrastructure availability aligns with business growth, resilience, performance, and cost objectives. This role is responsible for translating business growth forecasts into practical colocation capacity, power, and infrastructure strategies across existing and future sites. The role combines commercial leadership, provider management, infrastructure planning, and technical coordination across a complex global environment.
This is not a facilities operations role; however, the successful candidate must possess strong technical literacy in colocation infrastructure, including mechanical and electrical resiliency models, power and cooling constraints, and operational dependencies, in order to support informed commercial, contractual, and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
Colocation Strategy & Capacity Planning
– Translate business growth forecasts and platform requirements into short-, mid-, and long-term colocation capacity strategies across existing and future sites, accounting for scalability, resiliency, performance, and regional demand.
Commercial Management
– Own the commercial strategy and lifecycle of SIE’s global colocation footprint, including renewals, expansions, exits, commercial obligations, and strategic capacity planning across multiple providers and regions.
Commercial Negotiations
– Lead commercial negotiations with colocation providers for renewals, expansions, new capacity acquisitions, and related commercial agreements in partnership with internal legal and procurement teams.
Provider Relationship Management

Infrastructure Planning Coordination
– Partner with operations, engineering, product, and business intelligence teams to translate deployment forecasts into actionable power, space, and capacity requirements across the global estate.
Colocation Sourcing & Market Analysis
– Support colocation sourcing activities including market assessments, provider evaluations, regional capacity analysis, commercial benchmarking, and expansion planning.
Vendor & Contract Oversight
– Manage contract governance, service-level oversight, commercial risk, and compliance requirements across a diverse global provider ecosystem.
Commercial Analysis
– Support sourcing and capacity decisions through commercial analysis, provider benchmarking, market comparisons, and evaluation of colocation pricing, terms, and service offerings.
Lifecycle Governance
– Maintain oversight of key commercial and operational milestones, including lease events, capacity commitments, renewals, expansions, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
Performance & KPI Management
– Define, monitor, and report on operational and commercial KPIs to drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the colocation estate.
Executive Reporting & Governance
– Develop reporting and governance frameworks that provide clear visibility into capacity, commercial exposure, provider performance, risk, and strategic opportunities.
Market & Industry Awareness
– Maintain awareness of colocation market trends, regional supply dynamics, pricing movements, provider capabilities, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making.
Regulatory & Sustainability Alignment
– Ensure infrastructure planning and commercial decisions align with environmental, sustainability, regulatory, and compliance requirements across multiple global regions.
Decision-Making & Strategic Recommendations
– Operate effectively in environments with evolving or incomplete business forecasts, providing infrastructure and commercial recommendations that balance growth, risk, timing, and cost considerations.
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years of experience in colocation strategy, data center commercial management, infrastructure sourcing, capacity planning, or related disciplines within large-scale global environments.
Demonstrated experience leading commercial negotiations with colocation providers, including renewals, capacity expansions, pricing negotiations, SLAs, and contractual commitments.
Strong understanding of colocation commercial constructs, including leases, service orders, SLAs, power commitments, contractual obligations, and provider governance models.
Experience managing colocation provider relationships across multiple regions, with understanding of market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and commercial models.
Strong understanding of colocation infrastructure, including power, cooling, resiliency, and capacity constraints, with the ability to connect technical considerations to commercial and business outcomes.
Experience translating business or deployment forecasts into actionable infrastructure capacity, power, and space strategies.
Experience supporting colocation sourcing activities including provider evaluations, market analysis, commercial assessments, expansion planning, and capacity negotiations.
Experience evaluating colocation commercial proposals, pricing structures, service offerings, and contractual terms to support infrastructure and capacity decision-making.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex datasets, contractual obligations, lifecycle milestones, and regional planning assumptions across a global footprint.
Experience developing governance processes, KPI frameworks, and executive-level reporting for infrastructure, commercial, or capacity management functions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical, operational, financial, legal, procurement, and business stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating within a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels, balancing long-term infrastructure strategy with day-to-day commercial and operational priorities.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

About this role
GiveDirectly gives cash directly to people living in poverty and in emergencies. Both depend on the same question: did this person live in this place, at this time? We ask it when we target the poorest households, and when a disaster displaces a community overnight. Location records held by Mobile Network Operators (MNO) can help us estimate an answer to this question at scale. We work with MNOs so they can infer, from their own records, whether a subscriber was resident in a target area over a defined period. Robust residence location inference from MNO data requires in-depth analytical work, and the methods we design have to run on an operator's systems - most often implemented by their engineers - under strict data protection and confidentiality rules.
We are hiring a Senior Data Scientist to progress our work on location inference from MNO data, and to make it repeatable. Your job is to improve and extend our library of method templates, adapt them to each new operator and setting, and design new elements when an intervention requires it. You'll assess what can be inferred from a given operator's data, specify the analysis clearly enough for their data engineers to implement, then test it with them remotely or on site. You'll support introductory meetings with MNOs, describing methodologies at a high level, and inform the work of data privacy and cybersecurity teams to ensure only necessary data are shared securely. You'll also help colleagues across GiveDirectly understand the strengths and limitations of this data source, so we design programs around questions it can best answer.
This work is live in several countries, and we're expanding it across the countries where we have offices and to low- and middle-income countries anywhere in the world when a crisis hits.

Senior Product Manager - MNO data
Level
: Senior Manager
Location:
At this stage of GiveDirectly’s growth and scale, we’re prioritizing hiring in the countries below, where we can employ you through a GD entity or an established employer of record: Cameroon, Canada, Colombia, DRC, Germany, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Rwanda, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom, and United States. This list reflects where our employment infrastructure is established today, and may evolve as we grow. If you’re based elsewhere and not open to relocation, we may not be able to consider your application for this role right now, but we’d encourage you to check back.
Please note that we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time.
Travel Requirement:
Substantial international travel, roughly 25 to 50% of your time depending on emergencies, sometimes at short notice - for workshops with operators to support programs and emergency responses.
What you’ll do:
Improve and extend our library of analytical method templates for establishing where people live from MNO data, and depending on circumstances, for detecting displacement or estimating poverty. Design novel methods when an intervention requires it.
Support colleagues in technical conversations with operators, bringing clarity on the data we need and why, and steering discussions toward technical designs that make the analysis workable.
Assess the information that can be inferred from each operator's data given data types and sparsity, and for each geography and targeted area. Support intervention design to account for data quality.
Write tests and method specifications for MNO data engineers to implement: steps, parameters, pseudocode, validation criteria.
Guide operator engineering teams through implementation, in writing and in person. Adapt methods to accommodate large data volume and computational constraints, balancing accuracy and operational needs.
Run in-country workshops with operators to support the set-up of new analyses and - where feasible - tune parameters based on statistical tests and distributions.
Feed every new analytical and implementation element back into standard templates, so the next country or intervention starts from a better position than the last.
Design for privacy from the start, so that as little data as possible has to be shared: aggregation, minimization, and where useful, privacy-enhancing technologies such as private set intersection or homomorphic encryption.
Protect the confidentiality of what operators share with us and improve internal data security processes and tools as we grow.
Build internal training material so that our technical and non-technical teams understand the strengths and limits of this data, and design interventions accordingly.
What you’ll bring:
Exceptional alignment with
GiveDirectly Values
and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity. We welcome and strongly encourage applications from candidates who have personal or professional experience in the low-income and/or historically marginalized communities that we serve.
Strong mathematical modeling, machine learning and statistics. You choose methods for the question rather than for their sophistication, and you value being able to explain a result over squeezing out the last point of performance.
Deep comfort with spatio-temporal data: temporal filtering, GIS, probability distributions, combinatorial reasoning, and working with sparse, irregular observations. Direct experience with Call Detail Records (CDRs) or latching data is a strong plus. Comparable experience with mobility, transport, sensor or remote-sensing data counts.
The ability to reason without ground truth. Much of this work has no validated answer to check against, and you're comfortable setting parameters by reading the shape of the data and defending that choice.
Pragmatism about the trade-off between accuracy and implementability. You've deliberately simplified a method to fit an operational constraint, and you can say what it cost you.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You can explain a method and its limitations to an operator's engineers, to their data protection officer, to their leadership and to colleagues with or without technical background. You write well and are comfortable presenting to these multiple audiences. You build trust with counterparts you don’t manage, and they want to work with you again.
Experience writing technical specifications that other teams implemented, clear enough that people you don't manage could follow them correctly.
Able to read and review SQL and Python written by others, and to find the logical error in someone else's query. Writing production-quality code yourself is welcome but not required. Enough understanding of large data volumes and databases to judge when analytical simplification is required.
Commitment to privacy by design as a foundational value and starting point rather than a compliance step: designing analyses so that less personal data has to be shared. Familiarity with privacy-enhancing technologies for shared computation (private set intersection, secure multi-party computation, homomorphic encryption) is a strong plus.
Commitment to confidentiality. You've handled a partner's commercially sensitive data and can describe the habits you built around it, not just the clause you signed.
Experience designing training material that changed how non-specialist colleagues used a data source.
Comfort in fast-moving contexts where the brief may often shift, and where your technical expertise and understanding may not be shared by other stakeholders.
Additional desirable experience may include: poverty modeling; familiarity with survey data and survey instruments; experience inside a mobile network operator or working closely with one; open-source contributions in the mobility estimation space.
Comfortable with travel to fragile and post-disaster contexts.
Language Requirement: English.
Language Preferences: French, Portuguese, Swahili or Spanish.
