WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The People Team at Notion exists to help build a generational company that enables people to do their best and most meaningful work. This role operates at all altitudes - one minute, you’ll be building a people strategy with a member of our leadership team, and the next, you’ll be coaching an employee. With Notion's scale this year, you'll play a major role in how we shape, mold, and build the future of Notion for years to come.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Build deep partnerships with Notion’s leadership team (especially across Engineering, Product, and Design), and serve as a conduit between stakeholders up to C-suite and the People Team.
- Advise on, create, and execute people strategies that drive the business forward.
- Consult with the leadership team on Talent Planning, Org Design, Retention Strategies, and Change Management.
- Apply systems thinking to evolve how we operate — translating patterns and friction into improvements across people programs and operating rhythms.
- Share proactive insights from people data, to uncover hot spots, and ensure Notion is being proactive to retain top talent.
- Support and help shape the 360 performance review process: manager calibrations, facilitate training sessions, compensation planning, and host office hours.
- Coach Managers to lead through change, effectively performance manage and increase employee engagement with ongoing feedback and effective communication.
- Provide targeted performance management support, devise and implement development plans, and enhance managers' training for improved team performance.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 10+ years of experience, minimum of 3+ years of Engineering and/or Product experience and deep knowledge of various HR functions such as talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong learning velocity and able to ramp quickly on new organizations, leaders, and evolving operating models.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Solutions-oriented with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to remain tactful and calm in all situations.
- Highly adaptable and will thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to thrive with async and global teams
- Understanding of state and federal laws concerning labor relations.
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $220,000- $275,000 per year.
By clicking “Submit Application”, I understand and agree that Notion and its affiliates and subsidiaries will collect and process my information in accordance with Notion’s Global Recruiting Privacy Policy https://notion.notion.site/Notion-Global-Recruiting-Privacy-Policy-fc3eb4e829354a26a2bb6fd5e289b550. https://dev.notion.so/a3ce416456924276a59de91bca740028?pvs=21

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Senior Software Engineer - Session Replay
The Opportunity:
The Session Replay squad is building a new Grafana Cloud product that helps our customers to understand what users actually experienced when something goes wrong.

Grafana ecosystem (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, etc.)
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
What Makes You a Great Fit:

Ability to reason about data-intensive systems
(ingestion, storage, querying, cost trade-offs)
You are
comfortable owning features in ambiguous problem spaces
. We are a small team, working remotely, on a product that will be used by engineers all over the world – the ability to work on your own is crucial.
You have a good understanding of
a software development process that takes a user-centered approach
. You easily build an understanding of the users’ context and goals which will help you build the right solution with the maximum value.

ABOUT US
Since 2013, we’ve been building a CRM that gets out of your way and helps your team sell more, faster. Now we’re building AI into every part of it, so Close does the busywork and your team does the selling. No manual data entry, no 10-click workflows. Just communication-first, AI-powered sales software designed to help you succeed and scale.
We're bootstrapped and profitable which means we answer to our customers and play by our rules. We're proud of our 130-person, 100% remote team, focused on building Close so that no small, scaling business fails because it can't figure out sales.
ABOUT THE ROLE
One of our values is “Build a house you want to live in.” In this metaphor, Close.com http://Close.com is the front door. Our website is where people learn about who we are, what we do and, even more importantly, it’s a critical touch point on their journey to becoming a Close customer. We’re dedicated to making it best-in-class. We’ve recently migrated from Webflow to our own codebase (Astro, Sanity, Vercel) so a new and improved foundation is in place. We believe building in-house gives us the flexibility, creativity, and speed to make our website a competitive advantage - this is where our first Sr. Frontend Engineer - Marketing comes in. As the technical owner of the website, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and instrumenting Close.com http://Close.com. You’ll work closely with Marketing, including a Marketing Designer, but report up through Engineering.
YOU ARE
- A marketing website engineer. You’ve built beautiful, conversion-focused websites for a while now - probably 5+ years. You may have worked in an agency, but you’ve also had to build, own, and collaborate on websites long-term - seeing your work through impact and likely many iterations. Motion, ambitious CSS, and rich media are second nature, and you sweat page speed and how the site reads to both search engines and AI agents as much as how cool it looks. A modern stack like Astro paired with a headless CMS (Sanity is ours) is familiar territory to you.
- Fluent in measurement. The sites you build aren’t only beautiful, but they’re well-measured too. You understand cookies, conversion events, analytics, and experimentation tooling, and you've worked with tools like Segment, Amplitude, or Customer.io http://Customer.io.
- Focused on conversion and fueled by impact. We’re primarily a self-service SMB business and that means that Close.com http://Close.com isn’t just a brand experience. It’s a critical part of our acquisition funnel. This means that your work will have a direct effect on some of our most important business metrics - traffic, conversion, revenue. You’re the type who finds this motivating and is eager to partner with Marketing and Growth to move these numbers.
- Energized by empowering non-technical team members. You’ve built systems that allow Marketers or Designers to self-serve and solve problems quickly and independently. You’re comfortable thinking through guardrails, automations, and tooling.
- Already building with AI. You use AI to move faster and empower your team but are equally discerning about which moments require craftsmanship and taste.
- Resourceful and collaborative. You’ll bridge two teams (Marketing and Engineering) and will need to easily work with folks across departments and levels. No tweak or task is too small (or too big) for you to tackle.
YOU WILL
- Build and continuously improve a world-class marketing website. We want close.com http://close.com to be responsive, highly interactive, and polished. The kind of site that brings the product to life through animation and interactivity. You'll ship new pages and continue raising the bar on core site functionality.
- Make the site fast and findable. You’ll own performance, technical SEO, and how the site shows up to search engines and AI agents.
- Manage the infrastructure behind the site. The platform (Sanity), components, integrations, and deployment are for you to maintain and evolve.
- Own the technical integrity of site measurement and partner on experiments. Make sure tracking, attribution, conversion events, and funnel data are implemented correctly and reliably flow into our marketing and data systems.
- Build tools that let Marketing self-serve...and help the site self-improve. You’ll build automations and flows to help the team ship pages, campaigns, and experiments, but you’ll also help the website be a partner in its own development - be it catching regressions or flagging performance problems and SEO issues. The website of the future is a surface for collaboration between you, the marketing team, and AI agents.
- Stretch beyond the site and act as an engineering resource to marketing. The website is your focus, but there’s a lot of work to be done! You’ll be a resource for solving tricky problems, across the website and in other areas of marketing - sometimes that means hopping in yourself, or just knowing when to loop in the right person.
BENEFITS
- Compensation: Competitive pay plus an organization-wide goal-based bonus
- Paid Time Off: ~5 weeks of PTO to start. Plus a 1-week all-company Winter Holiday Break and paid US holidays. You'll earn 2 extra days for every year you're with Close.
- 80% Work Option: Work with your manager to choose between a standard 5-day week or a 4-day week at 80% pay
- Parental Leave: Paid leave for primary and secondary caregivers
- Sabbatical: A 1-month paid sabbatical every 5 years with the team
- Healthcare (US residents): Two medical plans with Close covering the majority of your premium, plus Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, and company-paid Long-Term Disability
- 401k (US residents): We match your contributions up to 6%, vested immediately
OUR VALUES
Build a house you want to live in - Examine long-term thinking and action
No BS - Practice transparency and honesty, especially when it’s hard
Invest in each other - Build successful relationships with your coworkers and customers
Discipline equals freedom - Keep your word to yourself and others
Strive for greatness - Constantly challenge yourself and others

OUR HIRING PROCESS
We ask a few role-specific questions as part of our application process. These questions are designed to help us learn more about you from the start, so please answer each one thoughtfully. We see this as an opportunity to get to know you beyond your resume.
We use AI tools daily at Close and expect candidates to do the same. In evaluating your application, we aim to get a sense for you - the way you think, how you communicate, the work you've done. Applications that read as fully AI-generated will not be considered.
Regardless of fit, you can expect to hear back from our team with an update on the status of your candidacy.
If you progress to the interview process, you'll receive a full outline of the role-specific steps in your first touchpoint with us. We do our best to make the hiring process clear and human.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s.
Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for three Anchor Days (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays). This internship will take place from Jan 25 - Apr 16 and you will need to be able to work out of our NY or SF office during this time.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Mobile devices have reshaped personal computing—the power of a desktop now fits in our pockets. By giving everyone the building blocks to create their own tools, we'll solve more problems wherever we go. A delightful, intuitive mobile experience: that's our guiding light, and we need Android and iOS engineers to make it a reality.
During your 12-week internship, you will be paired with a mentor that will help guide you as you work closely with our team to build and ship impactful projects. These projects will drive valuable impact to our customers and engineers. Take a look at what our past intern cohort worked on with our Blog post here https://notion.notion.site/Notion-Intern-Spotlight-d0260c4e2317490db89f367d95cb4e68 and here https://www.notion.so/blog/saluting-notions-winter-interns and TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@notionhq/video/7216440106356395306?lang=en post.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Write clean, secure, tested, and documented code.
- You'll collaborate with the team to strategize, mold, and develop innovative features for our Android and iOS application.
- At our core, we prioritize crafting top-tier applications. Your role could involve enhancing the Android or iOS app's performance, reliability, and overall refinement. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to optimize aspects of the app within the web stack.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another related field. Must graduate before December 2027.
- Previous mobile internship experience.
- Working towards a proficiency of one or more programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Typescript, Node.js, Swift, Go, Python, or Rust.
- You find large challenges exciting and enjoy discovering problems as much as solving them.
- You are able to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- This internship will take place from Jan - Apr and you will need to be able to work out of our SF or NY office during this time.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
- Put users first: You think critically about the implications of what you're building, and how it shapes real people's lives. You understand that reach comes with responsibility for our impact—good and bad.
- Not ideological about technology: To you, technologies and programming languages are about tradeoffs. You may be opinionated, but you're not ideological and can learn new technologies as you go.
- Empathetic communication: You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether you're explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real time. In disagreements, you engage thoughtfully with other perspectives and compromise when needed.
- Team player: For you, work isn't a solo endeavor. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals, and you care about learning, growing, and helping others to do the same.
NICE TO HAVES:
- You're proficient with any part of our technology stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Dagger, Swift, React, TypeScript, Postgres.
- You've heard of computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and others—and understand why we're big fans of their work.
- You have interests outside of technology, such as in art, history, or social sciences.

Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion provides reasonable accommodations during the application process; if you need one, please let your recruiter know.

Hi, I'm Paul, VP of Engineering at
Customer.io
. We're looking for a staff product engineer — not a generalist who happens to touch frontend and backend, but someone who thinks like a product owner and ships like an engineer.
About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day.
Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive.
We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data. Under the hood: Go, React, and AI help us ship fast and scale with confidence.
What We Value
End-to-end ownership
You take on the problems nobody's claimed — the ones that span squads with no obvious owner — and carry them from a fuzzy first conversation to what's actually live. If it touches the customer, it's yours to chase down.
Comfort in ambiguity
Half-formed problems and conflicting signals are your starting material, not a blocker. You define the problem before you solve it, form a point of view on what's worth building, and move without waiting for someone else to de-risk the call.
Customer-first, always
You think from the customer's problem backward, not the codebase forward. Every technical call traces back to what it does for the person on the other end of the message — and you can explain that connection to people who don't write code. Given the choice, you ship the thing that changes their experience, not the thing that's merely elegant.
A healthy skepticism for "the way things are done"
You retire practices that have outlived their usefulness, including ones you helped build. Best practices matter — but never more than forward motion.
Force multiplication
Shipping your part isn't the bar. You bring in the right people before a problem becomes theirs to clean up, and you leave enough behind — docs, patterns, delegation — that the team keeps moving without you in the room.
What You'll Do
Own important, ambiguous problems from initial framing through launch and iteration. Set direction, align partners, and stay accountable for the result.
Partner with product, design, and data to shape priorities, scope the work, and define how success will be measured.
Lead technical decisions across the stack, including architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Lead work across teams and systems. Build alignment, resolve technical disagreements, and keep complex initiatives moving.
Improve engineering practices through mentorship, reusable patterns, and clear technical guidance.
Use AI throughout your engineering work, with sound judgment about where it helps, where it falls short, and how its output should be reviewed. Help the team improve by testing new workflows, sharing what works, and identifying useful opportunities for automation.
Participate in an on-call rotation as required, supporting the systems the team builds.
What we're looking for
A track record of leading complex work across teams or systems and delivering meaningful customer, business, or engineering outcomes.

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
Video is one of the most powerful ways we bring the Figma brand to life, and we are building the function to match that ambition. As a Video Strategist, you will define what video does for this brand and build the operation that delivers it: the strategy, the franchises people come back for, the production model behind them, and eventually the team that runs it all. You will sit within Brand Marketing and partner closely with design, creative, comms, product marketing, community, and advocacy to turn complex product and customer stories into work people want to watch and share.
This is a rare combination. Figma is a beloved brand with a creative community that already wants to hear from us, and a video function that is still yours to build.
This is a full time role based in San Francisco or New York hub, or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Set the strategy: Define the role video plays across brand, social, editorial, product launch, community, and event moments. Own the format architecture and the prioritization framework that decides what we make and what we pass on
Build franchises: Create and run a portfolio of recurring video programs that compound audience over time, alongside the campaign and launch work. Own the development pipeline for new formats and the call to renew, evolve, or retire a series
Build the engine: Decide what we produce in-house, what goes to agencies and directors, and what we source from creators, with the economics behind each. Own the video budget and vendor relationships, and build the standards we are missing today around briefing, review, rights, and asset reuse
Lead the craft: Set and hold the quality bar for video made anywhere under the Figma brand. Write and approve briefs, run creative reviews, and enable cross-functional teams producing their own video with guardrails and coaching rather than gatekeeping
Measure what matters: Partner with our Brand Marketing Technologist to define what good looks like for each format and franchise, instrument it, and report it in a way that changes what we make next
Grow the team: Lead, hire, and develop the video team and the external bench, and make the case for the resourcing the strategy requires
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
10+ years across video, brand storytelling, editorial, content strategy, or production leadership, including several years leading a video function or team
A track record creating and running recurring video franchises that outlasted a single season and grew an audience
Experience owning a production model end to end: the in-house versus agency versus creator call, a real budget, and the partner relationships behind it
People leadership. You have hired, developed, and given hard feedback to producers, editors, or an external bench
Fluency across the format spectrum, from social-first short-form to long-form storytelling, launch films, and customer narratives, with clear opinions on what each format is good for
The ability to set a creative bar for work made by people who do not report to you, and to hold it without becoming the bottleneck
Comfort as the video voice in rooms with senior stakeholders, including the judgment to disagree productively and the measurement literacy to defend your decisions
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Hands-on editing or motion graphics ability. We are not hiring you to sit on a timeline, but craft fluency sharpens judgment and helps you move fast
Experience with live event and conference content at scale
Familiarity with music licensing, talent releases, and usage rights at volume
Experience building creator and influencer partnerships
Experience scaling video inside a company going through rapid growth or a brand evolution
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.

Figma provides paid sick leave, holidays, and other leave benefits in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the requirements of the Washington Minimum Wage Act and related regulations. Exempt employees are eligible for employer‑provided paid flexible PTO in addition to flexible paid sick leave. PTO is subject to manager approval. Additional benefits may include company recharge days, cell phone and home internet reimbursements, and a number of lifestyle spending accounts. About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
The Scheduled Tasks team builds the platform primitives that let applications and agents run work now, later, or for a long time. We own Vercel Workflows, Queues, and Cron: the systems developers use to build long-running, event-driven, and scheduled applications.
You will join a team working at the intersection of developer experience and distributed systems. Together, we are building and scaling the products that make it straightforward for developers to coordinate background work, move messages between services, and schedule work with confidence. You will collaborate closely with engineers across Vercel to make these powerful capabilities feel simple, composable, and native to the platform.
What you'll do
Design, build, and operate platform capabilities across Workflows, Queues, and Cron.
Help developers build applications and agents that coordinate background, event-driven, and scheduled work.
Build APIs, SDKs, and tooling that make it easy to define, run, and manage durable work at scale.
Work on the distributed-systems foundations behind scheduling, message delivery, execution, retries, and state.
Partner with product, developer experience, and infrastructure teams to turn customer needs into clear, useful developer primitives.
Raise the engineering bar through thoughtful design reviews, well-tested code, production ownership, and clear technical communication.
Engage with developers and the open-source community to understand where background jobs, queues, and scheduling create friction—and use that feedback to improve the platform.
What you need
You have 5+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems, developer platforms, or cloud infrastructure.
Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and open-source infrastructure or developer tools is a plus.
You are comfortable working across APIs, runtimes, storage, networking, and production operations.
You have experience with one or more of: job queues, schedulers, workflow orchestration, event-driven systems, state machines, stream processing, or durable execution.
You understand the tradeoffs behind delivery guarantees, retries, idempotency, concurrency, and fault tolerance—and can turn those tradeoffs into usable product primitives.
You write high-quality, well-tested code and enjoy solving complex technical problems.
You communicate clearly, collaborate well across teams, and help a growing team converge on strong technical decisions.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.

At Mural, we're changing how teams collaborate, think, and make decisions together. The Growth & Engagement team helps customers discover value through intuitive product experiences, rapid experimentation, and emerging AI capabilities that make collaboration more effective. We're a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and data partners who move quickly, measure outcomes, and learn from every experiment. We value curiosity, collaboration, and thoughtful technical craftsmanship, building systems that enable rapid iteration while maintaining a high bar for quality, reliability, and scalability.
YOUR MISSION

- Improve the performance, reliability, accessibility, and scalability of critical user journeys.
- Mentor teammates through technical leadership, code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to roadmap planning, technical strategy, and continuous improvement of the team's engineering practices.

- Strong proficiency building modern web applications. Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB or similar technologies, with the ability to become productive quickly.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and the broader AI tooling ecosystem and the ability to quickly learn emerging AI technologies.

- Experience using analytics and data to inform engineering and product decisions.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, testing, observability, and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions across cross-functional teams.
- A track record of taking ownership of ambiguous problems, driving projects from concept to delivery, and mentoring other engineers.
- Experience working on a Growth/Engagement team or in a product engineering role focused on experimentation and customer lifecycle improvements.
- Experience working with business metrics such as activation, engagement, retention, conversion, and monetization to inform product and engineering decisions.
