1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
With over 180,000 business customers, Enterprise Password Manager is 1Password's core product. It is rapidly evolving into a complete credentials security platform for humans, machines, and AI agents.
This is a Senior Staff PMM role. Individual contributor with broad organizational visibility. You’ll report to the Director of Product Marketing and own EPM end-to-end: messaging, positioning, competitive strategy, and launch execution.
You will shape how the market understands credentials security as 1Password grows.
How we’re using AI today
On the Marketing team, we’re growing our AI capability together and redesigning how work gets done. We’ve built agents to improve workflows focused on competitive intelligence, content creation, and campaign planning, helping us stay sharp, reduce context-switching, and surface the right information at the right time. AI helps us coordinate, execute, and uncover insights faster so we can spend more time on what’s most important: performance, judgement, and driving the future of 1Password.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
Experience and Domain Expertise
- 7+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing, with direct experience in password management, enterprise vaulting, credentials security, or identity security.
- Working knowledge of broad cybersecurity concepts.
- You've repositioned a mature enterprise product. You know the difference between a messaging refresh and actually shifting how the market thinks about something.
- You can market to enterprise IT and security buyers: the admin managing rollout, the CISO approving the spend, and the security engineer evaluating the technical depth.
- A track record of winning in competitive markets by displacing incumbents, not just differentiating in an open field.
Technical Depth
- You understand how credentials work beyond passwords: API keys, certificates, machine secrets, passkeys, and what it takes to issue credentials to AI agents.
- Working knowledge of enterprise IT: MDM, SSO, directory services, and where password management fits in the IAM stack.
AI-Forward, Not AI-Dependent
- You use AI to go faster, not to think less. You know what to hand off and what to own, and you can tell good output from output that still needs work.
- You want AI to free up time for the work only a good product marketer can do: strategy, judgment, and narrative.
- You own the ideas you bring. Walk into a room with a recommendation and you can defend it. Candidates who produce content but can’t explain the thinking behind it won’t fit here.
Strategic Storytelling and Senior-Level Communication
- You write for multiple audiences without diluting the message. An IT admin and a CISO aren't reading the same document for the same reason. You know how to serve both.
- Strong narrative instincts: open with the problem, build to the solution, and land in a way that makes the reader feel the product was built for their situation.
- You’ve shaped category narratives, not just contributed to them.
Bonus points for:
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, or similar).
- Experience developing thought leadership in a fast-moving category. 1Password has a team that produces content. This role provides the point of view.
- You've repositioned an established product category. There's a real difference between entering a space and redefining it.
What you can expect:
Own EPM Product Marketing
- Own messaging, positioning, and launch strategy for the Enterprise Password Manager.
- Define how 1Password talks about credentials security for employees, service accounts, and AI agents.
- Tell the story clearly to analysts, IT buyers, security leaders, and sellers. The narrative has to work for practitioners and executives.
- Connect EPM’s story to the Unified Access platform narrative.
Build Competitive Intelligence and Category Positioning
- Own positioning and market leadership claims for EPM.
- Partner with Solutions Marketing on competitive differentiation. Know the competitive set cold: where they’re strong, where they’re not, and how to win against each.
- Track where the credentials security market is moving and keep 1Password’s messaging ahead of it.
Enable the Field with Tools That Actually Get Used
- Produce discovery decks, battlecards, objection-handling guides, and technical briefs that sellers and SEs reach for because they work.
- Take complex concepts like passkeys, machine credential lifecycle, AI agent authentication, and zero-knowledge architecture and make them usable in a customer conversation.
- Surface win/loss signals from the field and turn them into repeatable GTM motions, not one-off documents.
Influence EPM Product Strategy
- Bring the market's perspective to Product: customer evidence, analyst intelligence, competitive signals, field feedback.
- Make the market case early, before decisions are locked.
Why join us:
- The credentials security market is being reshaped by machine identities and AI agents. You'll own how 1Password tells that story.
- You'll work across product strategy, competitive positioning, and field execution. The work is visible at the executive level.
- 1Password is remote-first and has been since day one. We hire for judgment, not proximity.
- The company is growing and there's room to shape how PMM works here, not just execute what's already been defined.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $180,000 USD and $261,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $152,000 CAD and $220,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are looking for a threat intel manager to build and run our Model Exploitation & Fraud team within Threat Intelligence. This team detects, investigates, and disrupts the large-scale exploitation of Anthropic's AI systems. Model distillation, unauthorized access, account farming and reseller abuse, and fraud and scam operations.
You will set the strategy for the mission area, hire and lead a small team of technical investigators, and build the systems, processes, and partnerships that let the team scale. The team includes established senior investigators who own our deepest technical casework, tracing distillation networks, reseller and proxy ecosystems, and financially motivated actors across first-party surfaces and third-party platforms; your job is to direct, resource, and amplify that work, not duplicate it. This area carries regular U.S. government engagement and requires deeply understanding external black market ecosystems and how they interact with our systems.
Important context: In this position you may be exposed to explicit content spanning a range of topics, including those of a sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing nature. This role may require responding to escalations during weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities
Own strategy, priorities, and outcomes for the Model Exploitation & Fraud mission area; define what we detect, investigate, action, and share
Hire, manage, and develop a team of technical threat investigators; set the quality bar for casework and intelligence reporting
Design clear lanes between this role and the team's senior individual contributors: strategy, people leadership, and program ownership sit with you, while ownership of the deepest technical investigations and tradecraft stays with the senior experts closest to the work
Capable of independently leading complex investigations.
Direct, prioritize, and resource complex investigations into model distillation, unauthorized AI R&D usage, unauthorized access, coordinated account abuse, and fraud/scam networks, partnering with the senior investigators who lead the deepest technical casework and clearing blockers from their path
Drive the redesign of triage for a very high-volume detection pipeline: partner with investigators and engineering to build abuse signals, clustering, and agentic investigation workflows that separate sophisticated actors from noise
Expand the team's coverage into fraud and scams, building the detection and investigation playbooks from the ground up
Own the external engagement program for the area, including regular intelligence sharing with U.S. government partners and industry peers, ensuring the investigators driving the work are visible in those channels
Anticipate how resellers, proxies, and third-party platforms change the abuse surface, and shape coverage accordingly
Work with policy, enforcement, and engineering to convert findings into bans, product mitigations, and safety-by-design improvements
Define and report the team's metrics; brief Safeguards and company leadership on the threat landscape
Minimum qualifications
Have led and managed investigative, fraud, platform integrity, or threat intelligence teams, ideally ones built around senior, deeply specialized individual contributors
Have strong domain fluency in scaled abuse — fraud patterns, account abuse, unauthorized access, or platform exploitation economics — sufficient to set priorities, pressure-test findings, and earn the confidence of expert investigators
Are proficient enough in SQL and Python to review data-heavy casework, pressure-test conclusions, and provide surge capacity when the team needs it
Have experience overseeing investigations that track threat actors across surface, deep, and dark web environments, including reseller and access-broker communities
Have working familiarity with large language models and a strong grasp of how models can be distilled, extracted, or exploited at scale
Have built processes, detection systems, or programs from scratch and can show what changed because of them
Communicate crisply with executives, engineers, and external partners alike
Preferred qualifications
Experience at a major technology platform on trust and safety, fraud, or abuse investigations at scale
Background in financial crime investigation or fraud analytics
Experience working directly with U.S. government stakeholders on threat reporting
A track record of partnering with, growing, and retaining senior technical specialists, including defining clear scope between management and senior IC tracks
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and/or Russian with nuanced regional and geopolitical context
Active Top Secret security clearance
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.

Annual Salary:
$375,000

Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About the role
We are looking for a threat intel manager to build and run our CBRN-E & Advanced Weapons team within Threat Intelligence. This team detects, investigates, and disrupts attempts to misuse Anthropic's AI systems for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosives threats and for the development of advanced or novel weapons.
You will mature this from a promising start into a rigorous program, hiring investigators with real CBRN-E, weaponization, and counterproliferation expertise, sharpening detection beyond broad harm screens into threat-specific capabilities, and personally leading the cases where scientific judgment determines whether we're seeing curiosity, legitimate research, or a genuine weapons-development attempt. The area carries significant engagement with government, biosecurity, and scientific stakeholders.
Important context: In this position you may be exposed to explicit content spanning a range of topics, including those of a sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing nature. This role may require responding to escalations during weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities
Own strategy, priorities, and outcomes for the CBRN-E & Advanced Weapons mission area; mature it from an emerging function into a rigorous investigative program
Hire, manage, and develop a team of investigators with deep domain expertise across biological, chemical, and weapons-development threat areas
Personally lead investigations into attempts to use our systems to develop, enhance, or disseminate CBRN-E weapons, or advanced weapons capabilities
Evolve detection from broad harm screens toward CBRN-specific signals and methodologies tailored to dual-use research concerns, in partnership with our collections engineers
Set the analytic quality bar: cross-platform threat analysis grounded in real threat actor behavior, open-source research, and publicly reported weapons programs
Own escalation and enforcement decisions with policy and enforcement teams for the highest-severity misuse category we handle
Lead external engagement with government agencies, biosecurity and chemical-security research communities, and scientific organizations
Inform safety-by-design and capability-evaluation strategies by forecasting how threat actors will leverage frontier AI for CBRN-E purposes
Serve as a liaison to government partners, educating stakeholders on AI-enabled threats through regular reporting and briefings.
Minimum qualifications
Are an intelligence analyst, policy expert, or researcher with deep domain expertise in biosecurity, chemical defense, weapons non-proliferation, dual-use research of concern (DURC), or related CBRN-E threat domains
Have led investigative or analytic teams and are a senior domain expert with demonstrated mentorship and program-building experience ready to lead

Have excellent stakeholder management skills across researchers, policy experts, legal teams, government, and external partners
Can present analytical work to technical and non-technical audiences, including government stakeholders and senior leadership
Preferred qualifications
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in biological sciences, chemistry, biodefense, biosecurity, or a related field
Real-world experience countering weapons of mass destruction or other high-risk asymmetric threats in the intelligence community or defense organizations
Experience working with government agencies, defense/national security organizations, or in regulated environments handling sensitive CBRN-E programs, counterproliferation and threat analysis.
Background in AI safety, machine learning security, or technology abuse investigation
Experience building and scaling threat detection systems or abuse monitoring programs

At Offchain, we aren’t just building products: we’re leading a movement.
As pioneers in blockchain scalability and security, we're at the forefront of transforming how the world interacts with decentralized applications. We're laying the foundation that will define the next generation of digital commerce, governance, and human interaction. This involves tackling real-world challenges that come with scaling blockchain technology, without compromising on its core principles: decentralization, security and transparency.
At the center of this vision is our people. Our team is made up of thinkers and doers that embrace new challenges and seek solutions that push existing boundaries. If you’re energized by solving unprecedented problems, and believe in the role that decentralized systems will play in creating a more equitable digital future, then we want to hear from you.
Why Offchain?
Offchain is setting the pace for the entire Ethereum ecosystem. We built the Arbitrum stack that powers Arbitrum One, the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution that exists today.
Arbitrum’s ecosystem is undergoing tremendous growth with hundreds of projects and dApps on Arbitrum One today. Over 100 different teams have used Offchain technology to build their own Arbitrum chains. Major players in the space, Robinhood, BlackRock, Ethena Labs, Securitize, Aave, and Apechain are all using the Arbitrum stack.
Arbitrum’s thriving ecosystem wouldn’t exist without our advanced technology stack. Arbitrum, Prysm, ZeroDev. These aren’t just product names. These are tools that are actively reshaping what's possible on Ethereum and advancing its core infrastructure.
To top it all off? We’re backed by $124 million in funding. We’ve demonstrated consistent execution with billions in secured value, thousands of supported projects, and infrastructure processing millions of transactions seamlessly.
The Role:
The Developer Platform team builds KMS, the key-management and signing service behind ZeroDev's embedded, non-custodial wallets. These are smart-account / account-abstraction wallets that developers integrate directly into their applications. End users retain control of their keys, while KMS security orchestrates wallet creation, authentication and signing on top of a third-party signing provider.
You'll own production Go services and the cryptographic recovery and trust-model systems around them, working in a small, high-ownership team. This is security-critical infrastructure with a high review bar and external security audits. You should already be comfortable with applied-cryptography fundamentals such as public-key cryptography, signatures and key management. You don’t need to be a cryptographer or have prior experience with areas like MPC or TEEs, but you should be able to reason about cryptographic systems and their security implications.
As the platform evolves, you'll also help expand it beyond interactive consumer wallets toward programmatic and automated signing, and programmable transaction policies.
What you'll work on:
Backend services: build and operate Go services that power wallet creation, authentication, and signing at scale
Key recovery and the committee trust model: distributed key generation and secret sharing that keep the service non-custodial, with recovery authority split across independent committees so no single party holds a user's key
Trusted Execution Environments: reconstructing and operating on key material under hardware isolation and remote attestation
Authentication and signing-provider integration: the user-facing auth methods that gate signing (passkeys / WebAuthn, OAuth, OTP, sessions, 2FA), and integrating with a third-party signing provider (authorization and policy flows, scoped credentials, quorum / consensus approvals)
Security review and hardening: writing design docs and decision records, working directly with external security auditors, and turning a high review bar into shipped code
Production operations on Kubernetes: observability and alerting, secrets and certificate management, on-call, and the compliance controls the domain requires (sanctions screening, PII-safe handling)
Who you are:
Strong backend engineer who has shipped and operated production services in Go (or an adjacent systems language and is eager to go deep in Go)
Security-first by default: You naturally think about threat models, blast radius and key custody, and write code that holds up to security-critical review
Comfortable with applied-cryptography: You understand fundamentals such as public-key cryptography, signatures and key management, and can reason about how they apply to production systems.
You don't need to be a cryptographer!
Solid on distributed systems and API design: You’re comfortable reasoning about idempotency, failure modes and clean service boundaries
Operationally experienced: You’ve worked with production infrastructure and are comfortable with Kubernetes, observability and incident response
Clear written communicator: You can explain technical decisions through design docs and decision records, and work effectively in a collaborative, review-heavy environment.
Nice-to-have
You don't need to have worked with all of these. Experience in one or more would be valuable.
Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) such as AWS Nitro Enclaves, Intel SGX / TDX or similar
Threshold cryptography / MPC, including DKG, FROST or other threshold signatures, verifiable secret sharing or resharing
Account abstraction, including ERC-4337, EIP-7702, smart accounts or embedded / non-custodial wallets
Custody or signing infrastructure such as Turnkey or Fireblocks, either as an integrator or builder
HSMs, YubiKey / PIV or secure-element integrations
Third-party security audits and driving remediation through to completion
Authentication technologies such as WebAuthn / passkeys and OAuth / OIDC, or experience with the Go crypto ecosystem
Perks:
Remote-first global workforce + NY office
Professional reimbursement program (facilitates industry conference attendance, certifications, and more)
Medical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries)
401k retirement plan + company match (US only)
Wellness stipend

Role Overview
As a Senior Offensive Security Engineer (L5), you will own complex offensive security initiatives that span multiple teams. You will lead advanced penetration testing, red team exercises, and adversarial simulations to uncover systemic weaknesses in our web applications, APIs, mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, identity, payment-adjacent flows, and overall attack surface.
You will act as a
hands-on technical leader
: influencing secure design decisions with evidence, mentoring mid-level and junior offensive engineers, and driving improvements that meaningfully reduce risk.
Description
In this senior role, you will take end-to-end ownership of offensive security efforts with a focus on high-impact outcomes. Your responsibilities include:
Lead comprehensive penetration tests and red team / assumed-breach exercises targeting web applications, APIs, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and authentication systems (including identity and privileged-access paths).
Lead mobile offensive testing on Android and iOS, including evaluation and bypass/validation of runtime protection, tamper resistance, certificate pinning / Certificate Transparency, and key/secret shielding using DexProtector or similar RASP / app-shielding tools, plus complementary tooling such as MobSF.
Perform in-depth threat modeling and identify complex attack paths across services and trust boundaries (including authorization flaws, tenant isolation, token/session issues, edge/WAF bypass, and client-secret exposure).
Deliver high-quality security assessment reports with clear risk ratings, business impact analysis, practical remediation guidance, and evidence quality that engineering and audit stakeholders can use in a SOC 2 and PCI DSS context—then re-test and validate fixes before closure.
Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and the Security Engineer track to influence secure architecture decisions and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed at the root cause.
Develop and improve offensive security methodologies, tools, and automation to increase efficiency and coverage. AI-assisted testing is a must.
Mentor mid-level and junior offensive security engineers, conduct offensive-focused code/design reviews, and help raise the overall security capability of the team.
Participate in purple team exercises with the detection and incident response teams to improve defenses based on real attack simulations.
Stay at the forefront of offensive security research, emerging threats, and TTPs, and assess their relevance to Toters.
Contribute offensive input to security standards, policies, and secure development practices across the engineering organization (you advise; you do not own policy issuance or GRC evidence packs).
Support structured disclosure (VDP / researcher reports) through reproduce, rate, de-duplicate, and validate.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or red teaming.
Strong expertise in web application, API, and mobile security testing (Android and iOS).
Working knowledge of DexProtector or similar mobile shielding / RASP tooling: what it protects, how testers evaluate residual risk, and how to validate that hardening holds.
Advanced proficiency with offensive security tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike or equivalent adversary-emulation platforms, custom tooling, etc.).
Proficient in writing robust, reusable scripts and small tools for automation (Python preferred, Bash for quick tasks).
Solid experience with cloud security testing (AWS preferred) and infrastructure attack techniques.
Proven ability to lead complex security assessments from scoping to reporting and remediation validation.
Strong risk assessment and threat modeling skills, with the ability to communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with SOC 2 and PCI DSS as they apply to offensive work (scoped pentests, application/API/payment-adjacent testing, evidence-quality reporting). This role does not own control design or audit evidence collection.
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing cross-team security practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
Industry-recognized certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, CRTO, or PNPT.
Experience running full-scope red team or assumed-breach exercises.
Experience developing custom exploits, tooling, or automation for offensive security.
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and adversary emulation.
AI and AI pentesting: testing LLM/agent applications (prompt injection, tool/plugin abuse, data-exfil via agents) and using AI-assisted pentest workflows with mandatory human review.
Previous experience in high-scale e-commerce, delivery, or fintech environments, including payment API / tokenization / third-party PSP testing as a tester (not as PCI control owner).
Fluency in Arabic and English (French is a plus).
What We Offer
Competitive compensation package.
Discounts on Toters orders.
First-class medical insurance.

ABOUT SOMNIA
The Somnia Foundation, backed by Improbable, specialises in building and operating high-performance decentralised technology. Its EVM L1, launched in 2025, has been benchmarked as the fastest on the planet: at over 1 million ERC-20 transactions per second.
At Somnia you'll be working alongside a talented team working across the core blockchain along with novel protocols leveraging its capabilities:
- Somnia Agents adding the ability for smart contracts to leverage the latest open-source LLMs and interact with the outside world via headless browsers, powered by on-chain deterministic LLM inference and a decentralised network of agent runners
- Prophecy an information oracle that can combine parsing of public websites and public data sources into decentralised, auditable attestations about the real world, powering prediction markets, forecasting and new types of financial systems
- DreamDEX a high-performance DEX with a fully on-chain CLOB leveraging on Somnia's core capabilities, targeting centralised exchange characteristics
- Somnia L1 continued work on the high-performance EVM L1, including working on MEV resistance, privacy, automatic gas sponsorship and 'reactivity' where smart contracts can autonomously invoke themselves based on specific timing or event criteria
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to build and run Somnia's key backend services: the L1 and node fleet, RPC and indexing layers, product backends, and developer-facing services teams depend on. An SRE-minded role: you make reliability measurable, rollouts safe, and infrastructure repeatable, so every team can move fast without breaking things.
You treat infrastructure as a product: automate relentlessly, measure everything, and leverage AI to accelerate development, operations, and incident response.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and maintain SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets, plus the observability—metrics, logs, traces and alerts—that catches regressions before users do.
- Build repeatable, self-service infrastructure through infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and golden paths so teams can provision, deploy and recover without reinventing the wheel.
- Own rollouts end-to-end—progressive delivery, canaries, safe migrations and clean rollbacks.
- Operate the systems behind Somnia's nodes, validators, RPC and indexing, tuning for performance and cost across regions.
- Lead incident response and on-call, run blameless postmortems, and continuously harden the platform.
- Partner with product and protocol teams to design and operate production-ready services. You'll rotate between embedding with engineering teams and building the shared platform, tooling and operational standards that underpin the wider organisation.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
- Strong experience operating production infrastructure at scale (cloud and/or bare metal), with deep Linux fundamentals.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform or Pulumi, alongside configuration management.
- Experience running containers and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) in production.
- Strong programming skills, ideally in Go and/or TypeScript, for building automation and internal tooling.
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry or equivalents).
- Experience operating and monitoring distributed systems, including capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Comfortable operating in high-stakes production environments and responding to incidents.
- Genuine interest in crypto and on-chain systems.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience operating blockchain node infrastructure (validators, RPC, archive nodes) for an L1/L2.
- Experience with high-performance networking, low-latency systems or load balancing at scale.
- Multi-region and geo-distributed deployments with failover strategies.
- Security and key management (HSMs, secrets management, hardening).
- EVM tooling and the wider Web3 infrastructure ecosystem.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Engineers can deploy safely and frequently with confidence.
- Platform reliability is measurable, with well-defined SLOs and continuously improving service health.
- Infrastructure is automated, repeatable and increasingly self-service.
- Incidents become less frequent, easier to diagnose and faster to resolve.
- Product teams spend more time shipping features and less time managing infrastructure.
HOW WE WORK
- Agent maximalists: We are strong believers in agentic tooling being a massive accelerant to velocity beyond vibe coding prototypes: from equipping engineers with the latest tools through to agentic harnesses for security testing and end-to-end shipping fixes and small features.
- Ownership and autonomy: A lean team that optimises for individual impact and velocity. Engineers own features end-to-end, from idea to production, and are trusted to make the call to ship.
- Outcome-oriented: We take on hard technical problems, but the tech is always a means to an end. What matters is what ships and the impact it has, not cleverness for its own sake.
- Best tool for the job: We solve interesting problems in the simplest way possible. Mostly TypeScript for full-stack apps, C++ for high-performance systems, Go for infrastructure services and Solidity for smart contracts.
