About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Indiana and Kentucky to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centers are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbor, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations.
You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organizations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build. You will surface concerns before they escalate, translate our technical and operational plans into clear local benefits, and build the coalitions that allow us to move quickly and responsibly. Because Anthropic's infrastructure footprint is still early in its growth, you will also help write the playbook: the processes you build in your first markets are the ones we will use as we expand.
You will travel regularly within Indiana and Kentucky, up to 50% of the time, and occasionally to other Anthropic data center markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with county commissioners and councils, Kentucky fiscal courts and judge-executives, mayors and city councils, plan commissions and zoning boards, state and regional economic development organizations, community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the Indiana and Kentucky data center markets you cover
Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each of your markets, spanning site selection, pre-development, construction, and ongoing operations
Build external coalitions, host education and listening sessions, and design local solutions that deliver real benefits to the communities where we operate
Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, planning hearings, community events, and local media
Monitor community sentiment and local political dynamics, and advise internal teams on risks, opportunities, and the right pace and posture for engagement
Partner with the Real Estate and Infrastructure team to bring community input into how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered, not just how they are announced
Work with the Communications team to develop proactive, locally relevant messaging
Coordinate charitable giving, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing nonprofit partner relationships
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use, including how large electricity needs are served by local utilities and rural electric cooperatives
Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows
Minimum qualifications
Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local or state government, or a closely related field
Direct experience working for or engaging with county and municipal governments and a broad set of community stakeholders on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out
A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations
The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings, including town halls, hearings, and press interviews
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to
The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them
Based in Indiana or Kentucky or willing to relocate to one of them, and prepared to travel regularly across both states
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data center, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and permitting processes at the county and municipal level in Indiana and/or Kentucky, including local tax abatement and incentive approvals
Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs
Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organizations in the markets this role covers
Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time
A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Role Overview
The Strategic WFM Analyst sits in the Core Workforce Management (WFM) Planning & Operations Strategy team and is responsible for owning centralized forecasting, capacity planning, workforce cost optimization, and strategic headcount trade-offs across all lines of business (LOBs).
This role is a high-judgment governance function that moves beyond traditional scheduling and intraday monitoring.
It translates complex demand forecasts into defensible FTE, BPO, and overtime spend strategies, models capacity risks, and aligns executive stakeholders across Finance, Product, and Operations.
You should be exceptionally strong in WFM maths and financial analytics, exhibit deep strategic curiosity, navigate messy raw data effortlessly, and communicate recommendations with executive-level clarity.
What You'll Do:
— Translate multi-LOB demand forecasts into monthly and quarterly capacity, headcount, and budget requirements.
— Model workforce and financial trade-offs across internal FTEs, BPO partners, overtime spend, bonus hours, productivity shifts, and shrinkage.
— Analyze demand-funnel changes (e.g., product feature rollouts, AI bot deflection shifts) and quantify their exact capacity and dollar impact.
— Partner directly with Finance, Product, and Operations to validate baseline assumptions, enforce input SLAs, and align on staffing commitments.
— Draft concise, decision-ready executive memos and Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) for Directors and leadership.
— Conduct deep-dive root-cause analyses whenever operational actuals deviate from capacity plans, and establish corrective action paths.
— Standardize capacity planning frameworks, modeling templates, and operating standards across LOBs.
— Maintain deep forecasting competency to audit models, challenge underlying assumptions, and provide seamless coverage across the broader central WFM engine.
What We're Looking For:
— Strategic WFM Maths: Exceptionally strong quantitative background with deep expertise in WFM fundamentals (capacity modelling, Erlang, shrinkage, AHT, SLA/ASA trade-offs) and advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, SQL, or Python.
— Business & Financial Judgement: Demonstrated ability to connect operational queue dynamics directly to dollar exposure, hiring velocity, BPO costs, and SLA risk.
— Executive Communication: Superior strategic writing skills with a natural instinct to distil complex, multi-variable workforce analytics into scannable, 1-2 page decision memos.
— Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to establish governance frameworks, challenge bad assumptions with back-tested data, and align Finance, Product, and Operations leadership without formal authority.
— Blank-Page Ownership: High comfort operating in ambiguous environments with incomplete data, isolating what materially matters without requiring step-by-step direction.
WFM Analyst Profile:
Strong core WFM domain expertise with a strategic/Ops spike.
This is not a generalist role and not a passive, traditional scheduler role.

As an Integrity and Authenticity Policy Manager, you will be responsible for developing, refining, and maintaining policies that prevent the misuse of AI systems for deception, manipulation, and unauthorized monitoring at scale. You will serve as the policy owner for risks related to inauthentic behavior, influence activity, surveillance, and the profiling of individuals and groups, and you will help shape policy frameworks across several areas, including authenticity, information integrity, and privacy and surveillance.
Your initial focus will be on translating the Integrity and Authenticity risk framework into clear, enforceable policies, ensuring policy language addresses emerging threats identified by partner teams, and establishing guidelines that enable consistent enforcement decisions. Many of the most serious harms in this space begin with upstream steps that look routine on their own, such as compiling records about a person, automating account creation, or sorting users by inferred identity. Part of your work will be defining where those steps become prohibited. The role will expand as AI capabilities advance. Safety is core to our mission. You will help ensure our products cannot be used to deceive people at scale, monitor and profile people without their knowledge or consent, or sort and target populations based on sensitive characteristics.
Important context for this role: In this position you may be exposed to and engage with explicit content spanning a range of topics, including those of a sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing nature, as well as detailed descriptions of privacy violations, surveillance abuses, and deceptive campaigns targeting vulnerable people.
Key responsibilities
Develop and define policy boundaries for covert monitoring, tracking, and surveillance across different contexts, drawing the distinction between malicious behaviors and compliant dual-use scenarios
Write policy guidance on facial recognition, voice cloning, and geolocation inference, specifying which uses require consent and which are prohibited outright
Map the surveillance lifecycle, from target selection and data collection through analysis and covert deployment, and define the policy line at each stage so that interventions can occur early in the chain
Design and oversee evaluations that measure the model's capability to support social media monitoring, people-finding, predictive profiling, and the identification or tracking of specific people, to build, develop and improve safeguards with cross-functional partners to prevent malicious behaviors
Write and refine external-facing Usage Policy language and develop training guidelines, assessment rubrics, and evaluation protocols for enforcement teams, with emphasis on indicators of covert monitoring and population-level targeting
Validate enforcement decisions and automated assessments, provide policy guidance on complex edge cases such as investigative research into surveillance tools, coordinate with civil society, privacy experts, threat intelligence researchers, and academics, and serve as the escalation point for complex integrity and surveillance cases
Minimum qualifications
Working knowledge of how deceptive campaigns and covert monitoring operate in practice, including account networks, bot operations, data aggregation pipelines, and attribution methods
Familiarity with surveillance technologies and their misuse, including social media monitoring tools, people-search services, location tracking, spyware, facial recognition, and open-source intelligence techniques used against individuals
General knowledge of the global regulatory landscape around data protection, privacy, platform regulation, and digital services accountability
Strong policy writing skills, with the ability to translate complex threat frameworks into clear, enforceable guidelines
Experience designing policies and workflows that enable both clear human enforcement decision-making and technical implementation in ML classifiers and detection pipelines
Strong collaboration skills and extensive experience partnering with Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Threat Intelligence, and Policy teams on cross-functional initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain deceptive tactics, surveillance methods, and policy rationales to diverse audiences, including non-specialists and policymakers
Preferred qualifications
5+ years of experience in policy development, trust and safety, threat intelligence, or platform integrity, with hands-on work on inauthentic behavior, surveillance-related abuse, or data misuse
Experience in privacy policy, privacy engineering, or data protection work, including familiarity with privacy impact assessments and data minimization principles
Experience in intelligence roles, state-aligned monitoring operations, or covert data collection campaigns
Experience investigating inauthentic networks, covert monitoring, or surveillance abuses at a platform, research organization, or government body
Background in digital forensics, open-source intelligence, or threat attribution
Knowledge of persuasion theory, cognitive biases, and deceptive communication techniques, including social engineering and pretexting methods
Familiarity with human rights and privacy frameworks as they apply to surveillance, including protections for journalists, activists, and marginalized communities
Experience with trust and safety operations involving content moderation evasion, bot detection, or platform scraping enforcement
Experience working with EU institutions, regulatory bodies, or policy organizations on AI governance or digital platform regulation
Experience conducting adversarial testing, red teaming, or vulnerability assessments for AI systems or platforms, particularly for misuse involving monitoring or profiling
Familiarity with generative AI capabilities and an understanding of how LLMs can be used for synthetic personas, social engineering, predictive profiling, or surveillance at scale

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About The Anthropic Institute
The Anthropic Institute (TAI) is a function within Anthropic that works to advance the public conversation around AI.
The Institute is comprised of research teams tackling some of AI's most consequential societal challenges: the Frontier Red Team, which stress tests our systems against catastrophic risks; Societal Impacts, which studies how Claude is used by millions of people; Economic Research, which tracks AI's impact on people's jobs and the larger economy; the Rule of Law team, which studies AI's impacts to democracy; and more.
The Institute's mission is to reduce information asymmetries between Anthropic and the outside world, name and answer the hard questions implied by powerful AI systems, and publish these findings so that policymakers, researchers, technology leaders, and the public can reckon with what's here and what's to come.
About the role
The role.
You will build and lead the Institute’s tabletop exercise program and the team that runs it. Based on trends visible in the exponential and in consultation with technical experts, you will set the research agenda: which questions the exercises should answer, which scenarios to run, with which audiences, and what each run is meant to test. You will own the methods that make results comparable across runs and turn them into findings people outside the room can use. You will hire and manage a team plus a bench of facilitators, and you will be the program’s public voice.
Why tabletop exercises?
If RSI arrives, the hardest problems will be about making decisions under uncertainty. The people making them may not trust each other, and the authorities they work under may not be fit-for-purpose. A tabletop exercise (TTX) allows the people who would face that situation practice it before it is real. It also shows us what tools and information they reach for, including what they would need that does not exist yet.
Tabletop exercises are also a research method. You can run the same scenario many times, with different groups of people (and with many more AI agents playing in silico), and you start to see the distribution of decisions people make. This is one of the few ways to generate empirical evidence about the future, i.e., how people and institutions will respond to situations that have not happened yet.
Key responsibilities
Set the program’s research agenda: the questions exercises should answer, the scenarios to run, and the audience for each
Design exercises as empirical studies: define what each run tests, standardize scenarios and data capture so results are comparable, and use repeated play to map the range of outcomes
Build the program’s measurement: pre- and post-exercise assessments, decision logs, transcript analysis and after-action reports
Turn results into findings: publish on what the exercises show, and brief senior people inside and outside Anthropic on the gaps they expose
Hire, manage and develop a team and a bench of facilitators
Make the program scalable: maintain a library of tested scenarios that the team reuses most of the time, refreshed on a regular cadence so they stay timely
Build a facilitator kit ("TTX in a box") so other internal teams or external partners can run exercises to the same standard
Create and direct the tools behind the exercises, including Claude-driven simulations that generate a live outside-world feed during play
Minimum qualifications
Have designed and run tabletop exercises, wargames, or simulations for senior decision-makers and published on the subject
Have training in a discipline that uses simulation, experimental methods or structured analysis
Have 10+ years of experience in national security, government, technology policy, or strategy
Can keep the scenarios technically grounded with a strong grasp of AI capabilities and safety research
Have managed a team, including hiring, setting direction, giving feedback and developing people
Use Claude and other AI tools extensively in your own work
Care about AI safety and Anthropic's public benefit mission
Preferred qualifications
Published research on wargaming methods, simulation or crisis decision-making
Run exercises that fed into real policy or crisis-response decisions
Run multi-iteration or experimental wargames and analyzed results across runs
Used AI agents or language models as players, adjudicators or analysts in simulations
Led a research program or team through a period of growth
Existing relationships across national security, government, policy and AI, and are trusted in those communities
Published widely read work on AI, emerging technology, strategy or crisis decision-making

Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Provectus is a Premier AWS Partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner, featured in Forrester's AI Technical Services Landscape. We are roughly 420 engineers building production AI for enterprise clients in Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Retail, and Entertainment. We build custom generative AI and agentic AI systems on live client data, not off the shelf products and not demos.
We are hiring a Senior Solution/Product Owner for our AI Delivery practice, a forward deployed seat at the intersection of frontier AI and enterprise transformation. You will own both the story and the delivery for client engagements built on Cowork Activation, Agentic SDLC with Claude Code, and Blueprint Activation. In one week you might frame an ROI case for a CFO, align a healthcare or financial services stakeholder on a compliant GenAI rollout, and pair with a Forward Deployed Engineer to wire an MCP integration or ship a Claude Code harness.
What You Will Do:
Own client engagements end to end, from use case framing and business case through scoped delivery, first deployment, and measurable results
Define the value proposition, positioning, and reusable artifacts for your assigned Program or Blueprint, and align sales, delivery, and account teams around them
Build business cases covering market fit, ROI, and competitive positioning, and translate them into scoped statements of work
Run discovery, use case validation, design thinking workshops, and user research, and turn findings into demos and production deployments
Stand up Cowork Activation, Agentic SDLC with Claude Code, or Blueprint Activation on live client data, driving rapid prototyping from use case to context to result
Build hands on with the Provectus delivery stack, including Claude, Claude Code, MCP servers, connectors, Skills, and plugins
Define product vision and roadmap for GenAI, LLM, RAG, and agentic AI engagements, and judge solution quality alongside architects and engineers
Break complex work into incremental releases, and balance delivery speed against technical debt and architecture
Lead Agile and Scrum execution across backlog, sprint planning, and release, following our Sprint, Enable, Realize engagement model
Define success metrics and analytics, and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis
Contribute to the measurement framework behind our board level AI Maturity Index, ROI signal, and cost read
Support change management, stakeholder alignment, enablement, and reusable playbooks so wins repeat across accounts
What You Will Bring:
5 to 7+ years in product ownership, solution ownership, technical product management, or delivery leadership
3 to 5+ years working with AI/ML, generative AI, LLM applications, agentic systems, or data platforms
Deep domain expertise in Financial Services and Insurance and/or Healthcare and Life Sciences, ideally in a client facing or consulting context
Track record operating forward deployed or embedded with clients, as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Forward Deployed Expert, including hands on prototyping
Proven ability to take an offering, program, or product from zero to one and land it as real client delivery
Daily working use of Claude, Claude Code, and similar GenAI tools, including building your own skills, workflows, and productivity tooling
Comfort with MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations, connectors, and custom agent harnesses
Understanding of GenAI and agentic patterns, including prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and agent frameworks, deep enough to assess quality and translate it for executive stakeholders
Data fundamentals: what ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data governance mean in an enterprise context
Familiarity with AWS as a primary cloud platform, including Bedrock, and working awareness of MLOps and AI observability
Strong Agile and Scrum experience, and familiarity with outcome based, milestone priced consulting engagements
Design thinking, data driven decision making, and executive storytelling that holds up in front of a CFO or CIO
Enough engineering empathy to earn credibility with senior engineers and solutions architects on day one
Bias to action and structured problem solving in ambiguity
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City metro area, and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Nice To Have:
A second priority vertical beyond your primary Financial Services or Healthcare focus
Prior experience in an AWS Premier Partner or Anthropic partner environment
Claude Certified Architect, Seller, or Developer certification, or willingness to complete one early
Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or AWS, Azure, or GCP

The chance to shape how leading enterprises adopt AI, from strategy through first deployment
A forward deployed model working in small, senior teams alongside Principal Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers
A growing AI delivery practice where you help build the tooling and frameworks, not just use them
Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match
Unlimited PTO
Access to the latest AI tools and premium subscriptions
Internal training programs with full support for AWS and Claude certifications
Hybrid work in San Francisco or New York

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp's Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team is looking for a senior investigator ready to shift from running cases to scaling the systems that run cases. You've built real depth in TM Alerts, AML Investigations, Complex Fraud, and EDD Reviews; you know what a good escalation looks like, where analysts get stuck, and where automation actually holds up in production versus just looks good in a demo. In this role, you'll spend most of your time partnering with Engineering and the Head of FCC Tooling to turn that judgment into scaled AI systems: testing model outputs, labeling and calibrating results, and making sure every automated decision point is well-documented and properly governed. You'll stay close enough to FCC's day-to-day workflows and will partake in some of them, but this is fundamentally a builder role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner directly with Engineering and the Head of FCC Tooling on automation experimentation and AI initiatives across TM, sanctions, complex fraud, and EDD, moving prototypes from one-off calibration exercises to defined, repeatable evaluation processes.
- Design and run labeling and tagging workflows for model outputs (e.g., TM alert dispositions, sanctions/PEP hit review) building a structured, documented pipeline in place of today's ad hoc process
- Define and maintain test sets, scenario coverage, and evaluation frameworks for compliance AI/agent tools in partnership with the engineers building them
- Own the documentation and governance layer for every automated or AI-assisted decision point
- Work with the FCC team to understand current workflows to guide innovative solutions
- Recommend automation and AI adoption decisions with evidence and escalate control-posture or model-risk trade-offs to compliance leadership
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years of financial services experience in compliance, AML, or related regulatory advisory roles, preferably in fintech
- Demonstrated senior-investigator experience across TM Alerts, AML Investigations, Complex Fraud, and EDD Reviews
- Direct experience testing, labeling, or evaluating AI/ML model outputs, or strong aptitude and demonstrated fast ramp-up if new to formal model evaluation
- Strong AI fluency and data analytics skills
- Comfort partnering with engineers day-to-day and ability to translate compliance judgment into build specs, test cases, and evaluation criteria engineers can act on
- Strong project management and documentation rigor
- Ability to scope an ambiguous automation problem, choose an approach, and deliver a durable outcome with minimal oversight
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Data science background
- Experience working with outsourced testing/QA partners on model tuning or signal collection
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend
UNITED STATES
- 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents
- One Medical annual membership
- 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp
- Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay
- Pet insurance
- In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more
- Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed)
CANADA
- Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life
- Life, AD&D, and disability coverage
- Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime)
- Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay
- Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health
UNITED KINGDOM
- Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite
- Virtual GP and at-home care via eMed x Livi

About The Role:
We're looking for a Lead/Head of Transaction Monitoring (Enterprise) to own how Paysend detects suspicious activity across all products, corridors and payment methods, and to lead the TM Enterprise Program that modernises it.
Objective and Key Results
Objective (Q4 2026):
AI-Powered Enterprise Financial Crime: build scalable, risk-based transaction monitoring
Enterprise clients can submit legitimate transactions with minimal friction, suspicious transactions are correctly identified and declined, unnecessary RFIs are minimised, and transaction-monitoring performance is measurable and continuously optimised.
Metrics clearly separate client-generated risk, Financial Crime controls and downstream payout execution, so TM declines are not confused with prefunding, network or technical failures, and stages reconcile without double-counting.
Key Results you will be accountable for
% Confirmed Fraud Rate of Enterprise-Initiated Transactions:
Confirmed fraud transactions divided by total enterprise-initiated transactions, broken down by client, typology, transaction type and destination, and confirmed vs. suspected fraud. Gives clients an evidence-based view of the quality of the volume they submit.
% Legitimate Transaction Straight-Through Processing Rate:
Legitimate transactions processed without an RFI divided by total legitimate transactions submitted. The central measure of balance between risk protection and customer friction.
% Enterprise TM Decision Quality:
Combines confirmed-fraud prevention rate (stopped before payout), false-positive rate, and control coverage of material enterprise TM risks by documented, approved and tested controls.
% Enterprise TM Investigation Efficiency:
Median RFI time to resolution, % resolved within SLA, % with a clear documented decision, % outstanding beyond SLA, and RFI backlog and ageing.
What you will own
KRs and Initiatives:
Own and deliver the Enterprise TM KRs and Initiatives, from definition and prioritisation through delivery, measurement and reporting to senior leadership.
TM Enterprise Program:
Lead the TM Enterprise Program end to end: scope, roadmap, milestones, budget, dependencies, risks and governance.
TM framework:
Own the enterprise-wide TM framework: scenario and rule coverage, thresholds, risk-based calibration, model governance and the rule lifecycle (design, test, tune, retire).
Effectiveness and KPIs:
Own the KPI and MI framework for detection effectiveness, alert quality, false positives, SAR/STR conversion, alert volumes, SLAs and team productivity.
Regulatory assurance:
Ensure TM meets AML/CTF and regulatory expectations across all licensed jurisdictions, and own TM readiness for audits, regulator reviews and partner due diligence.
Team leadership:
Build, lead and develop a high-performing TM team spanning analysts, rule owners and data/automation specialists.
What you'll do
Define strategy and OKRs:
Set the enterprise TM strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligned to company OKRs and Paysend's financial crime risk appetite; translate it into measurable KRs and a prioritised initiative portfolio.
Drive delivery:
Lead initiative delivery as accountable owner: run planning, steering committees and status reporting; remove blockers, manage trade-offs and escalate material risks early.
Strengthen detection:
Oversee translation of typologies, risk assessments and regulatory change into detection scenarios and rules; ensure backtesting, simulation and impact measurement happen before release.
Optimise performance:
Drive tuning using alert, case and SAR feedback to improve catch rate and reduce noise, with clear trade-off thinking across risk, cost and customer friction.
Automate and scale:
Replace manual analysis and reporting with scalable pipelines and self-serve dashboards; apply advanced analytics and ML-based anomaly detection where they add value.
Collaborate:
Partner across the business:
Product and Engineering:
requirements, data needs, TM platform and rules-engine enhancements.
Compliance and MLRO:
policy alignment, risk assessments, regulatory reporting, audits and regulator engagement.
Network and Partners:
Visa and Mastercard program requirements, thresholds and monitoring; bank and partner due diligence.
Operations and Investigations:
alert-handling workflow, feedback loops, capacity and quality.
Data and Analytics:
data quality, lineage, model validation and reporting.
Govern and report:
Run the TM governance cadence: rule-change approvals, performance reviews, documented decisions and rationale, and regular reporting to senior management and committees.
Stay ahead of regulation:
Stay current on AML/CTF regulation, FATF guidance, PSD2/SCA and card scheme rules, and embed changes into controls and the roadmap.
Manage vendors and budget:
Manage vendor, tooling and budget for TM platforms, data sources and analytics.
What you'll need
Substantial experience in transaction monitoring and AML/financial crime, ideally in fintech, payments, money transfer or high-volume B2C, including leading a TM function or a large TM transformation.
Proven track record owning OKRs/KRs and delivering multi-stream programs or initiatives, with strong planning, prioritisation and senior stakeholder management.
Deep knowledge of TM scenario and rule design, tuning, threshold calibration, model governance and effectiveness testing, including backtesting and below-the-line testing.
Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulation and expectations (e.g., FCA, EU AMLD/AMLR, FATF) and experience supporting regulator and auditor reviews across multiple jurisdictions.
Solid grasp of fraud and financial crime typologies in cross-border payments, and awareness of emerging trends.
Working knowledge of Visa and Mastercard monitoring programs and payment methods (cards, tokenization, Apple Pay, Google Pay, A2A, wallets).
Data fluency: able to interrogate SQL/BI outputs, define KPIs and challenge analytical approaches; understanding of modern data platforms and automation.
Experience leading and developing teams, including hiring, coaching and building clear ownership models.
Ownership mindset: you spot problems, propose solutions and see them through without waiting to be asked.
Clear communication and documentation, able to explain risk and data-driven decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
Nice to have
Experience with rules engines, decisioning platforms or TM vendor solutions (selection, implementation, migration).
Experience applying advanced anomaly detection (statistical, unsupervised or machine learning) to AML and fraud use cases, including model risk management.
Hands-on SQL/Python background and experience building BI dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar).
Familiarity with how financial crime operations run day to day, including case management and SAR/STR filing.
Relevant certifications such as ACAMS, ICA or equivalent.
What you'll achieve
First 3 months
Understand our products, corridors, TM framework, rules engine, data landscape and current KR/Initiative portfolio.
Assess current TM coverage, effectiveness and regulatory exposure; identify the highest-priority gaps.
Build relationships across Compliance, Product, Engineering, Network, Operations and Data.
Confirm the TM Enterprise Program plan, governance and a baselined KR scorecard.
By 6 months
Run the TM Enterprise Program on an agreed roadmap with clear ownership, milestones and steering cadence.
Launch a reliable KPI and MI suite for detection effectiveness, alert quality and team throughput.

An overview of this role
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll be the deepest technical voice in the field for one product group, helping customers make technical decisions on GitLab's most important opportunities, roughly the top 10% by size or complexity.
Account Solutions Architects (Account SAs) will bring you into prioritized opportunities. The Account SA owns the opportunity; you own your product group's success within it. You'll work directly with Product and Engineering, bringing customer needs and field insights into roadmap discussions. You'll also help the wider Solutions Architecture team build expertise through reusable assets, enablement, and coaching.
You'll specialize in one product group, not all four. In Security & Compliance, you'll focus on GitLab Ultimate, application security, Dependency Firewall, software supply chain security, compliance, and artificial intelligence (AI) governance. In Platform, you'll focus on GitLab Dedicated, self-managed deployments, bring your own model, and cloud and hybrid architecture. In Core DevSecOps, you'll focus on GitLab Premium, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), source code management, Orbit, Artifact Central, and migrations. DevSecOps brings development, security, and operations together across software delivery. In AI & Competitive, you'll focus on GitLab Duo Agent Platform, agentic workflows, AI-native development, competitive displacement including GitHub, and migrations.
Your success will be measured by technical win rate and bookings on SME-engaged opportunities, product-category commit attainment and consumption growth in your region, and Proof of Value (PoV) conversion rate, evaluation cycle time, and time from technical win to production use. We'll also measure how often Account SAs reuse your assets, their confidence in handling your product group without escalation, and the quality and impact of your feedback to Product.
What you’ll do
Act as the technical authority for your product group on prioritized opportunities, from discovery and architecture through trials and PoV evaluations.
Lead technical deep dives, workshops, and executive briefings that connect product capabilities to business outcomes and explain how GitLab differs from competing solutions.
Design and improve standardized PoV templates with clear, repeatable success criteria. Account SAs own the customer PoV; you'll contribute product-specific content and expertise while keeping the evaluation connected to the broader GitLab platform.
Equip account teams for product launches with Product Management and Product Marketing. Build demos and talk tracks, and turn early customer wins into reference stories.
Serve as the escalation point for Account SAs and Post-Sales Solutions Architects (Post-Sales SAs) on complex product questions, integrations, and objections.
Hand off PoV success criteria and architecture decisions to the Post-Sales SA with the account team when an opportunity closes. Stay involved until the customer's first production workload uses the product, and support complex accounts when Post-Sales SAs bring you in to drive adoption and consumption.
Bring structured field feedback, competitive insights, and customer requirements to Product Management and Engineering with the wider SME team. Help manage early-access and design-partner programs, and represent GitLab through customer events, conferences, industry working groups, and published content.
Build reference architectures, demo environments, competitive battlecards, PoV playbooks, and enablement content so account teams can handle more opportunities without your direct involvement. Mentor Account SAs and contribute to GitLab's global SME community of practice.
What you’ll bring
Substantial experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, consulting, or software engineering, with deep, hands-on expertise in one domain: application security testing, supply chain security, and compliance; scalable cloud and hybrid platforms; large CI/CD environments and source code migrations; or production AI-assisted development, working prototypes, and competitive evaluations.
Practical expertise in agentic and AI-assisted development workflows across planning, coding, testing, security, and delivery, applied in a customer-facing, pre-sales context.
Experience winning technical decisions on large, complex enterprise opportunities through structured Proof of Concept (PoC) or PoV evaluations with defined success criteria and executive sign-off.
Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider.
The ability to lead a whiteboard session with engineers and present the business case to executives in the same meeting.
Strong written communication, including the ability to turn complex topics into clear playbooks that others use.
Comfort working asynchronously across time zones with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
Optional: public speaking, published technical content, open source contributions, or relevant certifications in Kubernetes, cloud architecture, or security.
If you bring transferable experience in an adjacent domain, we encourage you to apply.

We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Montana and Utah to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centers are sited, built, and operated.
You will travel regularly within Montana and Utah, up to 50% of the time, often over long distances, and occasionally to other Anthropic data center markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with county commissioners, mayors and city and town councils, planning and zoning bodies, state economic development agencies (such as Montana's Department of Commerce and Utah's Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity), community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the Montana and Utah data center markets you cover
Engage respectfully and meaningfully with Tribal governments and Native communities in Montana and Utah, recognizing Tribal sovereignty, building sustained relationships, and supporting consultation and partnership efforts related to our projects
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use, including water availability and water rights in a dry climate and how rural electric cooperatives and utilities would serve large electricity needs
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to
The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them
Based in Montana or Utah or willing to relocate to one of them, and prepared to travel regularly, including long drives, across both states
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data center, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and permitting processes at the county and municipal level in Montana and/or Utah, and with water rights and water use questions in the Mountain West
Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs
Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organizations in the markets this role covers
Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time
Experience working with Tribal governments and Native communities in Montana or Utah, including familiarity with consultation processes, Tribal sovereignty and treaty considerations, or community benefit and partnership agreements
Annual Salary:
$265,000
—
$295,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
