About the role 💭
We’re looking for a Design Engineer who lives at the intersection of design and code. You’ll sit directly with the Product Design team, alongside a group of designers who are AI-first builders, that work across a range of tools and constantly explore new workflows.
You’ll help prototype, build, and polish the experiences across the Dashboard, Admin Portal, AuthKit, Atlas, and more. You’ll help bring ambitious ideas to life by prototyping directly in code, validating with customers, and shipping production experiences with a high bar for craft. Your work reaches past the product itself: you’ll contribute to our design system and help improve how everyone at the company builds.
Responsibilities ✔️

- Prototype concepts, build new products, and experiment with new interaction patterns
- Raise the quality of WorkDS, our design system, by improving performance, state, accessibility, and interaction behaviour
- Work alongside product teams to test your ideas with customers directly and make sure what ships is right
- Work in the open, sharing work in progress early, pulling others in to get to the right answer faster
- Improve how the company builds, through design system contributions and agent instructions
Qualifications 🌟
- You have an eye for design details, care deeply about craft, and have a history of shipping polished products
- You can articulate why you made a design decision, not just what you made. You think through alternatives, weigh tradeoffs, and consider how your choices affect the entire product.
- You account for real-world complexity — edge cases, error and empty states, accessibility, and technical constraints — without letting process slow you down. You ship, learn, and iterate.
- You’re equally comfortable in code as you are in Figma/Paper and work across tools to refine your explorations, while also being excited to explore new tools and workflows and share what you learn with the team.
- You work AI-first and have refined how you do it, are able to achieve high-quality output, and share your workflows with others
- You spot design gaps across the product and fix them without waiting to be asked. You default to showing work early, sharing prototypes in the open, and pulling in others to get to the right solution faster.
- Experience working on small teams in high-agency, fast-paced environments
- Bonus: Experience with our stack of TypeScript, React, and Radix
- Bonus: Experience with developer tools, enterprise software, or other technical products

Notice Regarding Hasbro’s use of AI in the Recruitment Process
We use Greenhouse’s AI-powered Talent Matching tool to compare your application against our job requirements.
How it works: Talent Matching compares information from your resume and application responses with job-related criteria established and weighted by Hasbro’s recruiting and hiring teams. Depending on the role, these criteria may include relevant skills, work experience, prior job titles, and industry experience. The tool then assigns a match category to help organize applications for review.
Human oversight: Talent Matching supports — but does not replace — human review. It does not automatically advance or reject candidates or make employment decisions. Hasbro’s recruiters and hiring managers review applications and remain responsible for all hiring decisions.
Greenhouse has published the results of an independent bias audit of Talent Matching.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp's Brand team ships a high volume of ambitious creative across product launches, growth, events, customer marketing, and brand awareness. As the work has scaled, so has the need for a strong operating system around it.
We're hiring a Director of Brand Operations to build that operating system: the processes, milestones, and cross-functional coordination that let a world-class creative team do its best work and ship fast. This is an operations role focused on how the work gets done; it is not a traditional production-management role.
You'll be the operator who protects creatives from organizational swirl, sets clear ways of working, and fixes cross-functional breakdowns upstream so great ideas reach the world quickly.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own and build the operating system for how Brand's creative gets produced.
- Build the brand operating system: the processes, milestones, and ways of working that turn creative direction into shipped work.
- Diagnose and fix bottlenecks across functions. Find where work stalls, trace it to the source, and remove the limiting factor wherever it lives.
- Protect creatives from org swirl by absorbing cross-functional complexity so the team stays focused on the work.
- Automate with AI: use AI to streamline how work flows and cut manual overhead across the operation (intake, triage, status, reporting, handoffs).
- Partner with the creative leads so operations and creative are complementary, freeing creative leads to focus on creative.
- Be Brand's ambassador to the rest of Ramp: scope incoming work and pull Brand into projects early, at the right time.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Exceptional organization: you hold 20+ live workstreams and keep everyone on track
- A cross-functional root-cause instinct: you can walk into a tangled, multi-team workflow, explain why it's slow, and fix it. This is the most important capability for the role.
- A track record of building systems and automation: you've taken an operation from messy to repeatable and use tooling and AI to compress cycle time.
- A metrics-driven approach: you instrument delivery so progress is clear and provable.
- Hands-on, lean leadership: you lift both the operation and the people in it.
- A bias for better ways of working: you remove limiting factors and speed up delivery without adding process for its own sake.
- An operator-first profile: we care more about someone who can diagnose and fix how work flows than about a creative, production, or marketing pedigree. Strong candidates come from product ops, biz ops, GTM ops, finance ops, or chief-of-staff backgrounds.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience scaling an in-house creative or content studio in a high-growth environment.
- Experience building AI-assisted operational workflows.
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.

During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a senior software engineer to join our Metadata team, which owns the metadata layer of the dbt platform — the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services that let customers understand, trust, and act on what their data is doing.
You'll own the design and delivery of features end to end, working across high-throughput APIs and data models to make them faster, more reliable, and more capable. You'll write and review designs, raise the quality bar in code review, use the latest AI tools, and collaborate closely with product and QE to deliver work that scales.
Technologies You’ll Use
Python, Rust, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You’ll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Metadata team's services — discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions
Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem
