About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role:
We are looking for experienced software engineers to join our Platform organization. We build the foundational primitives that accelerate product development across Anthropic, and own infrastructure and systems that teams depend on to ship reliably and at scale - either internally or by hundreds of thousands of external global users and companies at all stages.
You'll independently scope complex, multi-month projects, drive cross-org alignment through ambiguous problem spaces, and make architectural decisions that shape how Anthropic builds and scales its products. You'll partner directly with research to productize cutting-edge capabilities, and will have lasting impact on the platform that hundreds of thousands of companies and internal/external engineers depend on every day.
We have multiple teams that are currently hiring. Team placement occurs after the interview process, taking into account your interests and experience alongside organizational needs. This flexible approach allows us to match talented engineers with the backend product efforts where they'll have the greatest impact and growth potential.
What you'll do:
Service Infra:
we build and maintain the core infrastructure that powers Anthropic's engineering organization, from service mesh and observability systems to deployment pipelines and shared libraries. Our work enables product teams to build and operate reliable services at scale, making us a critical force multiplier across the entire company.
Platform Portability:
We build and maintain the infrastructure that enables Anthropic to operate across multiple cloud providers. We focus on cloud-agnostic tooling, cross-cloud networking, and multi-region deployments.
Platform Intelligence:
You'll build and scale the foundation of the Claude API—the systems that deliver Claude's intelligence to every developer, from startups to enterprise. You'll own the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our core serving path, ensuring users get the most speed and value from our models. You'll partner closely with inference and safeguards to optimize the full stack.
Billing Platform:
Anthropic exists to ensure the world safely navigates the transition through transformative AI. That work is funded by commercial revenue — and every dollar of it runs through Billing Platform. We build and operate the infrastructure that turns product usage into revenue across everything Anthropic ships:
Claude.ai
, the Developer Platform, Claude Code, and whatever comes next. The faster we can price it and account for it correctly, the faster Anthropic can fund the mission. Depending on where you land, you might be building the integration contracts product teams plug into so they can launch a paid SKU without becoming billing experts, automating the quote-to-cash lifecycle so enterprise deals don’t bottleneck on manual ops, or building the reconciliation and data foundations that keep every revenue number trustworthy at audit time. This is production-critical infrastructure where correctness is non-negotiable — a rounding error here is a revenue discrepancy somewhere else — and you’ll work closely with Finance, Product, Sales, and Accounting to build systems that scale with the business.
Platform Serving:
You'll focus on transforming Claude into a true knowledge worker by ensuring the model has access to and understanding of the right knowledge at the right time. You'll work on making it possible for developers to securely give Claude access to their data while automatically processing and retrieving relevant information. You'll partner directly with research to bring state-of-the-art retrieval advancements to developers.
Agentic Systems:
You'll build the infrastructure and APIs that let developers create powerful agentic applications on the Claude API — including Claude Managed Agents, our managed platform for deploying and running agents in production. Your work spans the primitives agent developers depend on: tool use, multi-step reasoning, durable sessions and environments, and long-running task execution that lets Claude take actions and accomplish complex goals on a user's behalf. You'll make this platform ready for the largest enterprises to adopt, and partner with research to bring cutting-edge agent capabilities into production.
Auth & Identity:
We build and maintain the critical infrastructure and control interfaces that power identity and authentication across Anthropic's product suite. We work closely with product teams, security, support, and trust & safety as customers. We create scalable solutions for user authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and single sign-on that form the backbone of our company's identity management operations. We maintain a user-centric approach, building reliable systems that our users and company can depend on as we tackle complex challenges at the intersection of security, scalability, and user experience.
Platform Safety:
We're building the identity and verification product layer that enables safe model launches as Claude's capabilities expand. This critical effort partners with Safeguards, Auth & Identity, Policy, and Product teams across API,
Claude.ai
, and third-party platforms as customers, creating the systems for KYC/KYB, trust grant issuance and inheritance, and end-user verification that flow across every Anthropic surface. We sit at the intersection of trust, compliance, and product velocity, delivering the verification primitives that let Anthropic ship advanced model capabilities to the right users at massive scale.
You might be a good fit if you:
Have a minimum of 8 years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer building scalable distributed systems, ideally operating at tech lead level or equivalent
distributed systems, cloud-native products, developer tools, or external developer facing products
Have strong fundamentals in service-oriented architectures, networking, and systems design, ideally having owned both the technical vision and execution of a foundational platform system end to end
Are proficient in Python, Go, Rust, or similar systems languages
Have experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and/or multi-cloud networking
Take full ownership of your work—from design through deployment and operations
Can navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions independently, and have ideally operated in 0 to 1 and more mature team or company settings
Take a product-focused approach to platform work and care about building solutions that are robust, scalable, and easy to use

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

- Drive improvements across observability, automation, reliability, and developer experience.
- Collaborate closely with researchers and product engineers to understand pain points and turn them into robust platform capabilities.
- Contribute to technical direction and make pragmatic architectural tradeoffs as the platform grows.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE
- Strong experience building or operating production systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- A systems mindset: you naturally think in terms of bottlenecks, failure modes, interfaces, resource usage, and long-term operability.
- Solid hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Linux, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Kubernetes and operating distributed workloads in production.
- Strong coding skills, ideally in Python or similar languages used for backend systems and tooling.
- Strong judgment around where automation adds leverage, and where human control and reliability matter most.
- Experience building internal platforms, developer tooling, or infrastructure abstractions used by other engineers.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments and taking ownership of open-ended technical problems.
- A pragmatic approach: you care about solving the right problem well, not over-engineering.
PARTICULARLY RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Operating ML infrastructure or model serving systems in production.
- Supporting research or data-intensive workloads.
- Working with GPU-based systems or other performance-sensitive infrastructure.
- Experience with observability and debugging in distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Datadog, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
BONUS POINTS FOR
- Experience building agentic or LLM-powered internal tools.
- Experience with workflow orchestration systems such as Temporal.
- Experience working at the boundary between research and production engineering.
- Familiarity with performance optimization, scheduling, or resource allocation problems.
- Experience building lightweight product or developer-facing tools.

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own the technical foundation for Xsolla's field marketing tooling, a greenfield initiative spanning mobile and web applications used by internal teams and external partners at scale. This role demands someone who thinks in systems, not screens. You'll make architecture decisions around real-time data sync, API orchestration across multiple third-party platforms, and device-level hardware integrations, all while shipping fast enough to keep pace with a global events calendar.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Join Anthropic's Customer Success team in a high-impact role driving AI adoption across our Industry segment. As an Enterprise Customer Success Manager for Industries, you'll be the strategic partner and a trusted advisor to our most complex customers with a portfolio spanning Entertainment, Insurance, Manufacturing and Retail organizations—helping them harness the full potential of all our Claude capabilities - API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code.
You'll work with organizations across diverse industries that are transforming their businesses with AI technology. Developing genuine partnerships with customers, gaining a deep understanding of their business objectives, strategic direction, AI vision, and technical needs. You'll draw on both your business acumen and technical expertise to serve as a strategic advisor throughout their journey with us.
In partnership with the broader account team you will help customers identify the right Claude capabilities for their specific business objectives, working closely with them to provide best practices and guidance while supporting them as their usage (consumption & seat based) grows and evolves.
Your role focuses on helping customers scale their usage effectively, drive model and use case optimizations, implement change management strategies, and maximize the value of their investment through expanded use cases across their organization. The insights you gather from your customers will directly inform our research priorities, product development, and go-to-market strategies — making you a key voice in shaping how we build and deliver ongoing value as a business.
Responsibilities:
Build trusting, strategic relationships with key customer decision makers to understand their business and objectives, identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion
Become an expert in Anthropic's products across API, Claude Code and Claude for Enterprise, understanding the technical nuances and best practices for each to guide customers to the right solutions
Leverage your deep knowledge of the customer and their industry vertical to proactively drive usage planning, understanding current and future consumption/adoption and how it creates realized value for the customer
Monitor usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities, proactively addressing underutilization across both consumption-based (API) and seat-based (Claude for Enterprise / Claude Code) products to drive full value from contracted commitments
Serve as the customer's thought partner, enhancing their knowledge of Claude products by socializing Anthropic's product roadmap, driving awareness on new products and engaging Product PMs
Document and quantify customer value realized through business outcomes, ROI, and impact metrics to build compelling internal business cases for continued and expanded investment
Identify potential use cases and lines of business not currently onboarded, partnering with customers and Sales to discover new applications for Claude across different departments, teams, and workflows
Develop and execute change management strategies to drive end-user adoption and maximize value within customer organizations, including Train the Trainer programs, Center of Excellence development, and organizational enablement
Own the customer experience across their lifecycle — managing comprehensive account and success plans grounded in the customer's business objectives, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, and serving as the primary conduit between the customer and Anthropic
Develop scalable engagement strategies and playbooks for your Industry portfolio, balancing high-touch strategic accounts with efficient coverage models to maximize impact across all customers
You may be a good fit if you have:
6+ years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Engineering
Experience working with enterprises in teleco, media, retail, industrial, business services
Technical fluency with ability to understand and articulate AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns across a set of diverse stakeholders—from developers and product managers to executives and end users
Experience driving success across both consumption-based and seat-based business models, with understanding of different expansion levers and success metrics for each
Strategic mindset to identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable expansion plans
Proven track record managing a portfolio of accounts while maintaining strong relationships and driving measurable outcomes
Cross-functional collaborator who represents the customer in a positive, proactive manner, rallying everyone around paths forward that solve customer needs

About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
The Role
For hundreds of thousands of European entrepreneurs, our iOS app is Finom. It's how they check their cash flow over morning coffee, approve a payment between client meetings, and freeze a card the moment something looks off. We're mobile-first by conviction, not convenience — the app isn't a companion to the "real" product; it is the product. And as an AI-native platform, the features you build increasingly carry intelligence inside them: AI-powered accounting, smart categorization, and agentic workflows that quietly save business owners hours every week. When you ship something great, someone somewhere feels it the same day.
That's why we're not looking for someone to implement tickets. We're looking for a Senior Mobile (iOS) Engineer who thinks like a product builder — someone who cares deeply about the "why" behind what they're building, challenges assumptions when needed, and proactively spots opportunities to create better outcomes.
You'll be embedded in a cross-functional domain team — Backend, Mobile, ML/AI, QA, Design, and Product — that owns a shared product area end-to-end. No handoff culture, no "not my layer": everyone in the team is solving the same customer problem, and you'll shape solutions from the first product conversation to the moment the feature is live in users' hands. Fewer silos means more flow — and real, end-to-end ownership.
How We Build
Agentic development is table stakes at Finom — for every craft, mobile included. Our engineers work with Claude Code and similar harnesses daily, and we've made it a first-class part of how the company operates, not an individual productivity hack. We follow a shared SDLC approach built around Spec-Driven Development (SDD): features start as clear, reviewable specs that both humans and AI agents execute against, powered by a shared AI development toolbelt and a growing library of skills, rules, and context maintained across guilds. You won't be figuring out AI-assisted development alone — you'll join an engineering organization that has already invested in the infrastructure, standards, and shared practices, and you'll be expected to use them, improve them, and raise the bar for others.
What You'll Do
What You'll Do
Design and build new features for our iOS application, used daily by business owners across Europe: multi-account cash flow management, banking transactions and payments, physical and virtual card issuance and control, and AI-powered accounting automation.
Own outcomes, not just code. You'll follow your features into analytics, jump into customer issues without being prompted, and care about whether what you shipped actually moved the needle.
Build polished, responsive UIs with UIKit and SwiftUI — in a financial app, trust is built (or lost) in the details.
Drive technical decisions within your domain, discuss trade-offs openly with product managers, and explain constraints clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Raise the bar on engineering quality — automated testing, thorough code reviews, and mobile security best practices are non-negotiable in a regulated fintech.
Mentor the engineers around you and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team.
Who You Are
Who You Are
You're pragmatic, learn quickly, and have a proven track record of shipping products that matter. Above all, you're curious — about the product, the users, the business, and how your technical decisions impact all three.
Curiosity.
You want to understand the "why" behind every feature. You ask what problem it solves, question whether there's a simpler path, and explore how your decisions ripple into product, users, and revenue.
Business acumen.
You connect your work to company objectives. You understand the "so what" behind every decision, and you'd rather ship the feature that moves the right metric than the one that's merely interesting to build.
Communication.
You communicate clearly and concisely in English across technical and non-technical audiences — from fellow engineers to PMs to business stakeholders — and you genuinely enjoy the dynamics of a cross-functional team.
T-shapedness.
Your iOS craft runs deep, but your curiosity runs wide. You'll peek at the backend contracts, ask questions about the ML models, and dive into analytics to understand how your features perform.
Ownership.
You take responsibility not just for your code, but for the outcomes. You move without being prompted — whether that's improving team processes, jumping on a production issue, or mentoring a colleague.
Your Experience Includes
5+ years of commercial iOS development with strong knowledge of Swift.
Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
Practical experience with the VIPER architectural pattern and the Coordinator navigation pattern — and the judgment to know when a simpler approach serves the product better.
Excellent knowledge of UIKit and experience (or a strong desire to grow) with SwiftUI.
Experience with layout development in code, particularly using SnapKit or similar tools.
Ability to write unit and UI tests.
Confidence with Git / GitLab, including setting up and maintaining GitLab CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with agentic development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) as part of your daily workflow — writing prompts, configuring rules and skills, and critically evaluating AI-generated output with tests, linters, and review. This is table stakes for all engineering crafts at Finom, mobile included.
A builder's mentality: you care deeply about shipping great products, not just writing great code.
Nice to Have
Nice to Have
Background in fintech or financial products — you understand the stakes of working in a regulated environment.
Solid grasp of mobile security best practices (especially critical in our domain).
Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance — reducing rendering bottlenecks and hitting smooth 60/120fps on iOS.
Hands-on work with performance tooling: Instruments, XCTest, or similar.
Published apps on the App Store you're proud of.
An active GitHub profile with code you're happy to share.
Deeper agentic engineering experience beyond daily tool use — setting up agent environments and harnesses, authoring reusable skills and behavioral rules, or contributing to a team's shared AI development practices.
Understanding of model capabilities and limitations — knowing which model fits which task and how to manage the context window effectively.
Awareness of AI security risks — prompt injection, data leakage, and safe handling of untrusted inputs in agentic workflows.
