About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Anthropic, you'll join the foundational team at the forefront of introducing our cutting-edge AI productivity API and SaaS solutions to industrial organisations across the EMEA markets. You'll drive the adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic deals with manufacturers, engineering groups, energy and utilities providers, and logistics and supply chain businesses. You'll leverage your consultative sales expertise in the industrial sector to propel revenue growth while becoming a trusted partner to industrial stakeholders, helping them embed and deploy AI while uncovering its full range of capabilities across engineering, operations, supply chain, maintenance and field service. In collaboration with GTM, Product, and Marketing teams, you'll continuously refine our value proposition, sales methodology, and market positioning to resonate with industrial decision-makers.

Design and execute innovative sales strategies tailored to industrial procurement cycles, capex and opex budgeting, and supplier qualification processes to meet and exceed revenue quotas. Analyse industrial market landscapes, trends, and dynamics to translate high-level plans into targeted sales activities and campaigns
Spearhead market expansion by identifying new use cases within engineering and R&D, plant operations, supply chain and procurement, quality, maintenance, and field service. Collaborate cross-functionally to differentiate our offerings for industrial applications
Navigate complex industrial stakeholder ecosystems including executives, operations and engineering leadership, IT and OT teams, digital transformation functions, and procurement offices to build consensus
Inform product roadmaps and features by gathering feedback from users and conveying industrial market needs. Provide insights that strengthen our value proposition for industrial clients
Continuously refine the industrial sales methodology by incorporating learnings into playbooks, templates, and best practices. Identify process improvements that optimise sales productivity and consistency
You may be a good fit if you have:
8+ years of B2B sales experience in SaaS, API solutions, or emerging technologies
A track record of managing complex sales cycles within industrial organisations and securing strategic deals by understanding both technical requirements and industrial use cases
Demonstrated ability to navigate large, multi-site industrial organisations and procurement processes, building consensus among diverse stakeholders including executives, operations and engineering leadership, and IT departments
Extensive experience negotiating complex agreements within industrial procurement frameworks, including supplier onboarding, security and data governance reviews
Proven experience exceeding revenue targets by effectively managing an evolving pipeline and sales process
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present confidently to various industrial audiences, from plant and engineering managers to senior executives
Deep understanding of industrial buying cycles, decision-making processes, and key pain points, including the regulatory, safety and sustainability pressures industrial businesses operate within
A strategic, analytical approach to assessing the industrial market combined with creative, tactical execution to capture opportunities
A passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems and their applications. You feel strongly about ensuring frontier AI systems are developed safely and ethically for industrial use

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Senior Sales Executive - Hunter
to drive new business development across European markets.
This is a pure hunter role for a senior sales professional who already has an active network of potential clients and knows how to turn relationships into complex, high-value B2B opportunities.
You will focus on two core areas: Cloud Infrastructure and Web Security, working with digital-native companies that require scalable, high-performance, and secure technology infrastructure.

Your future tasks:
Drive new business acquisition across European markets
Develop sales opportunities within digital-native industries, including gaming, gambling, fintech, and IT

Build relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders within target accounts
Manage the complete B2B sales cycle from initial contact and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closing

Build a sustainable pipeline of high-value opportunities and take ownership of individual sales targets
Focus on profitable business growth and understand the commercial performance of deals, including Gross Profit (GP)
Develop long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for recurring business and renewals
Maintain ownership of your pipeline and sales activities with a high degree of independence
Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to develop solutions that meet client requirements
Requirements
Proven senior-level experience in B2B technology sales and new business development
Strong hunter sales background with demonstrated success proactively generating and closing new business
An active and established client network across European markets - this is a key requirement for the role
Existing relationships with decision-makers within digital-native companies, particularly in gaming, gambling, fintech, IT, or adjacent industries
Proven ability to generate significant Gross Profit, ideally with a track record around $500K+ GP annually or a comparable level of sales performance
Experience selling Cloud Infrastructure, Web Security, cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, or related technology solutions
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and/or web security solutions
Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles of 2+ months
Proven ability to independently source opportunities, build a pipeline, negotiate, and close high-value deals
Experience working with large commercial opportunities and senior-level decision-makers
Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of Gross Profit rather than revenue alone
Ability to build long-term client relationships and develop recurring business
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Fluent English and proven experience working with European clients in English
Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage your own pipeline and priorities without close supervision
Comfortable working independently in a remote international environment
Willingness to work under a B2B contract
Will be an advantage:
Direct sales experience with Google Cloud and/or Cloudflare solutions
Existing client network specifically within the gaming or gambling industry
Experience selling to fintech and other high-growth digital-native companies
Experience with recurring revenue models, subscriptions, managed services, or other long-term technology contracts
Strong understanding of cloud migration, infrastructure optimization, web performance, and cybersecurity
Experience selling through technology partnerships or within an IT integrator environment
Track record of closing high-value technology deals with long-term commercial potential
Benefits
Remote work format with flexibility regarding your location

The successful candidate will bring strong digital-twin, simulation, and AI/ML expertise, along with sufficient clinical-development knowledge to work effectively with trial teams. Deeper trial-design expertise can be developed through close collaboration with clinical scientists, biostatisticians, and pharmacometricians.
Key responsibilities
Digital-twin development and validation
· Lead the design, development, and evaluation of digital twins of patients, disease trajectories, treatment response, or clinical trials using clinical trial and relevant external data.
· Combine mechanistic, statistical, causal, and machine learning approaches to create fit-for-purpose digital twins that can be simulated under alternative populations, interventions, dosing strategies, endpoints, or trial designs.
· Define use cases and contexts of use with clinical and quantitative experts so each digital twin addresses a specific trial-design or development decision.
· Assess calibration, validation, robustness, transportability, uncertainty, and practical relevance using appropriate internal and external evaluation strategies.
· Develop reproducible workflows and reusable digital-twin components that can be applied across programs or therapeutic areas.
Clinical trial design and quantitative decision support
· Partner with trial teams to frame development questions and evaluate design options, including target populations, eligibility criteria, enrichment strategies, comparators, endpoints, visit schedules, dosing strategies, and operational tradeoffs.
· Use digital twins and complementary simulation methods to compare plausible scenarios, characterize uncertainty, and support model-informed decision-making.
· Work closely with statisticians and pharmacometricians so analyses complement established trial-design methods and align with clinical and regulatory objectives.
· Communicate assumptions, limitations, and decision-relevant insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Data integration and scientific collaboration
· Analyze and integrate clinical trial data and, where relevant, biomarkers, imaging, digital health data, omics, patient-reported outcomes, and real-world data.
· Partner with data engineering and platform teams to create analysis-ready datasets, data-quality checks, lineage, and reproducible pipelines.
· Contribute to scientific documentation, presentations, publications, and responsible adoption of digital-twin methods across clinical development.
Model quality and responsible use
· Define the intended use, decision context, success criteria, and limitations of each model before development.
· Ensure models are interpretable, auditable, reproducible, and supported by evidence appropriate to their intended use.
· Apply appropriate governance, privacy, security, and scientific-review requirements for clinical data and analytical outputs.
· Clearly distinguish exploratory analyses from validated decision-support evidence and avoid overclaiming model capability.
Requirements
· PhD in data science, statistics, biostatistics, pharmacometrics, computer science, biomedical informatics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
· Demonstrated experience developing digital twins, virtual patients, disease-progression models, clinical trial simulations, synthetic controls, or closely related computational models.
· Strong experience applying machine learning, statistical modeling, causal inference, or simulation to biomedical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other complex scientific data.
· Strong programming skills in Python, R, or a comparable analytical language, with experience using version-controlled and reproducible workflows.
· Sufficient clinical-development knowledge to frame relevant questions and collaborate effectively with clinical and quantitative trial experts.
· Ability and interest to deepen clinical trial-design knowledge through partnership with clinical scientists, biostatisticians, and pharmacometricians.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated effectiveness in cross-functional scientific collaboration.
Preferred qualifications
· Strongly preferred: experience supporting clinical trial design, protocol development, clinical development strategy, model-informed drug development, or regulatory-facing quantitative evidence.
· Familiarity with one or more trial-design topics, such as endpoint strategy, sample size or power assumptions, patient selection or enrichment, longitudinal outcomes, missing data, adaptive designs, or decision criteria.
· Knowledge of digital-twin architecture and validation, supported by expertise in causal inference, Bayesian modeling, survival analysis, longitudinal modeling, clinical trial simulation, or synthetic controls.
· Experience with clinical data standards and common clinical-development data sources.
· Experience with biomarker, imaging, omics, digital health, or real-world data and integration of multiple data modalities.
· Experience with scalable cloud-based analytical environments.
· Track record of translating analytical work into decisions, reusable capabilities, publications, presentations, or other measurable scientific impact.
