ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for forward-thinking, high-performing AI Engineers who are excited to pioneer the future of AI-driven engineering at Paysend. In this role, you will work hands-on with Claude Code and the Anthropic API to design, harden, and ship agentic systems that write, review, test, and deploy code. This is a high-impact, build-and-own opportunity: you will take cutting-edge AI prototypes and turn them into resilient production infrastructure - directly empowering our global engineering teams, accelerating our product velocity, and helping us solidify Paysend as the definitive end-to-end payment infrastructure for the modern world.
THE ENGINEERING PROBLEM
The problem is not to make an LLM generate code. The problem is to make AI-assisted and agentic software delivery reliable enough to become part of normal engineering work.
These systems operate inside real software delivery workflows. They need to deal with incomplete context, failed execution, incorrect assumptions, external dependencies, changing repository state, and cases where an agent should not continue on its own. This means designing clear execution boundaries, decision points, observability, recovery and escalation paths, not only the agent behaviour itself.
The role includes shaping how these systems work, not only implementing integrations with existing AI tools.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design end-to-end AI-assisted delivery workflows, including agent responsibilities, execution boundaries, decision points, human intervention, failure handling, recovery, and escalation
Design and refine AI-driven pipelines that automate coding, code review, testing, and deployment tasks
Build and optimise agentic workflows using Claude Code and the Anthropic API, including custom tooling, MCP server integrations, sub-agents, and stateful orchestration logic
Engineer robust prompts, benchmark suites, and automated eval datasets; measure and improve pipeline accuracy, latency, and API costs
Define workflow-specific success criteria and operational evidence, including correctness, reliability, intervention and escalation rates, failure modes, and recovery effectiveness
Integrate core Anthropic capabilities (tool use, structured outputs, prompt caching, batch processing) into internal developer platforms
Handle unglamorous production work: sandboxed execution, strict error handling, retries, observability, guardrails, and edge cases
Own these systems after initial implementation: observe how they behave in real engineering workflows, investigate failures and incorrect behaviour, and improve the system based on operational evidence
Partner with engineers across the org to identify automation opportunities and roll out agentic tools safely with human-in-the-loop review mechanisms
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong software engineering background, with experience designing, building, and operating production systems, and strong hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript
Ability to decompose end-to-end engineering workflows, identify decision boundaries, failure modes, dependencies, observability needs, and recovery paths
Direct, hands-on experience with Claude Code—you've used it beyond casual experimentation and understand its strengths, limits, and configuration (CLAUDE.md, sub-agents, hooks)
Experience building with LLM APIs: prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, context window optimization, agentic loops, and evaluation
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration and custom workflows
Comfort turning prototypes into production systems: CI/CD integration, containerized execution, reliability engineering, and monitoring
Pragmatic judgment about where AI automation helps and where traditional deterministic logic or human oversight is required
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with agent orchestration frameworks or building custom agent harnesses/tooling
Track record shipping internal developer platforms or CLI tooling
Contributions to open-source AI frameworks, developer tools, or MCP servers

- USD 2,500 per year for flights home
- Baby and family stipends for employees relocating to Manila: USD 1,000/month per child under two, USD 500/month per child aged two to 18
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- Regular team offsites, sports activities, and team events
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia
We believe strong teams are built by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and points of view. Salmon is an equal opportunity employer, and we make hiring decisions based on skills, experience, and potential.

ABOUT PEEC AI
Peec AI is the analytics platform for AI search. People increasingly discover products and make buying decisions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews instead of traditional search, and most brands have no idea where they show up in those answers. Peec gives marketing, SEO, and growth teams the data to see exactly that: how visible their brand is across AI platforms, how they compare to competitors, and where to win.
We are defining this category, and the market is moving with us. Peec is a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, that went from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a 100+ person team across our Berlin HQ and our New York office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Peec AI is building the data plane for AI visibility: millions of chats, scrapes, citations, sources, model responses, and customer-facing insights running through a fast-moving backend.
This role is for an engineer who wants to own the systems behind that. You will not just add endpoints or close tickets. You will make our scraping, chat-processing, source-ingestion, and analytics infrastructure more reliable, cheaper, faster, and easier for the rest of the team to reason about.
The best fit looks like someone who can debug a provider outage in the morning, design a better queueing model before lunch, ship a TypeScript service change in the afternoon, and write the postmortem or follow-up ticket clearly enough that the next engineer immediately knows what to do.
We are especially interested in people who have built or operated systems with real constraints: rate limits, flaky third-party APIs, queues, webhooks, retries, distributed locks, data migrations, observability gaps, customer pressure, and cost ceilings.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of backend, platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering experience in a production environment.
- Deep hands-on TypeScript experience. We run TypeScript services on Bun, and we care about people who can design clean, reliable backend systems rather than only write application code.
- Strong understanding of queues, workers, retries, rate limits, idempotency, distributed locks, webhooks, and failure handling.
- Experience operating systems under real production pressure: incidents, provider outages, customer escalations, noisy alerts, slow dependencies, and incomplete data.
- Comfort with cloud-native infrastructure. Our stack includes GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgres, Firestore, ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Ability to debug across layers: application code, logs, metrics, queues, provider APIs, databases, network behaviour, and deployment state.
- Product-minded judgement. You can separate internal detail from customer-safe explanation, and you understand when a “small infra change” has customer, security, or cost implications.
- High ownership and low ego. We want people who take responsibility for ambiguous systems, ask sharp questions, and make the team better through clear thinking and kindness.
- A bias toward durable fixes. You do not stop at “restart the pod” if the real issue is retry amplification, missing backpressure, an unsafe parser assumption, or a provider limit we do not model.
TECH STACK
- Languages: TypeScript, Python
- Runtime/frameworks: Bun, Elysia, Node-compatible services
- Cloud/infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, Firebase/Firestore, Postgres, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, structured logging
- Product/data domain: LLM chats, AI search, source scraping, citation extraction, provider integrations, customer-facing analytics
- AI/model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode / AI Overview, plus scraping/provider APIs around them
WHAT WE OFFER
- Exciting and challenging work with real impact and ownership at one of Europe’s fastest-growing Series A startups
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Aggressive equity compensation package
- Paid Dinner & Uber home when working late
- The most beautiful office space and work environment in Berlin

1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Device Infrastructure Services owns the full lifecycle of hardware and operating systems across 1Password. The team is looking for the Staff Engineer who will lead its next chapter: a deliberate shift from legacy device management patterns towards devops and AI-enabled operations.
You'll be the technical leader of this team, responsible for setting the roadmap for this transformation and making sure it gets executed. This isn't a role where you hand off a roadmap and step back: you'll be in the build alongside the team, coaching engineers and raising the ceiling on what they're capable of. If you're excited by building scalable systems, shaping the strategy behind tools the whole company depends on, and bringing out the best work in the people around you, we want to hear from you.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 7+ years of IT and enterprise endpoint management experience, including 2+ years at a senior or staff IC level, with a track record of building and managing endpoints with Gitops practices.
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of enterprise endpoint management, deep operating system-level experience, and the ability to recognize patterns across a fleet and build fixes that prevent recurrence.
- Practical experience using AI tools to enable or accelerate IT operations and the judgment to know where AI speeds things up versus where it introduces risk.
- Proven ability to define and drive technical roadmaps, seeing around corners and balancing long-term vision with near-term execution.
- Strong scripting and IaC ability (Bash, Python, and Terraform at minimum) — both writing production-quality automation yourself and reviewing others' code with a critical eye.
- Deep working knowledge of enterprise security fundamentals as they apply to endpoints: encryption, patch/vulnerability management, EDR, least-privilege enforcement, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar).
- Lead through change, collaborate effectively, and mentor engineers while maintaining a focused and impactful team environment.
What you can expect:
- Own the technical direction of our Device Infrastructure Services, the tooling and standards that keep ~2,000 endpoints compliant, configured, and secure.
- Drive the technical direction of a DevOps operating model for the fleet — config-as-code, version control, code review, and CI/CD pipelines in place of manual console changes — and drive adoption of that model across the IT team.
- Lead the adoption of responsible agentic AI across the device team, building the guardrails that decide what agents can act on autonomously and what still needs a human checkpoint.
- Act as the final escalation point for high-severity endpoint incidents, including deep machine-level diagnosis on both macOS and Windows hardware.
- Partner across IT, Security, and product teams building custom solutions and helping push their initiatives across the finish line.
- Assess and pilot new tooling (e.g., MDM platform migrations, patch management systems) and drive build-vs-buy decisions.
- Collaborate with product teams to advise on features from the perspective of a real-world enterprise device deployment, and lead Customer Zero initiatives — piloting and stress-testing our own product against our internal fleet before it reaches customers.
What success looks like:
- Establishing a clear 12-month roadmap for the transition to a GitOps-based operating model.
- Building device health metrics and remediation standards for machine security, performance, and employee experience.
- Developing our AI-assisted operations strategy, with automation milestones that balance speed, human review, security and agentic workflows.
- Supporting the unpredictable release cadence of major OS vendors, and making sure those updates land safely across the org.
- Bringing the team along with you — at 1Password, we Put People First. This role isn't just about leveling up what we can do technically, it's also about coaching the team along the way.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $143,000 USD and $207,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $122,000 CAD and $177,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and resilience of the cloud infrastructure powering Garner’s products and AI/ML workloads. This role sits on our Platform Engineering team. You will run the machine: defining and upholding SLOs, leading incident response, and driving the automation and standards that let every Garner engineer ship faster and more reliably. Because our systems directly influence health outcomes for millions of patients, maintaining the highest standards of production quality is imperative. This is an automation-first role: you will use AI tools to continuously convert manual operational work into monitored, hands-free processes, so the role gets more leveraged as you build.
Where you will work:

Own Observability:
Build and maintain the monitoring, alerting, and observability systems that let us detect and resolve issues before users feel them
Scale & Optimize:
Translate ambiguous, high-performance scaling requirements into well-defined, automated, and composable infrastructure-as-code deliverables (Terraform); proactively identify and implement cost-efficiency and performance gains across the stack to maximize cloud ROI
Automate Away Toil:
Pay down impactful tech debt and reduce operational toil, using AI tools and automation to convert repetitive operational work into hands-free, monitored processes, and holding our internal platform to the same rigorous standards as our customer-facing products
Enable Engineering:
Build and maintain the deployment and observability standards that empower the broader engineering team to ship AI features faster and more reliably; communicate complex cloud and reliability concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Uphold Security & Compliance:
Ensure our infrastructure and operations meet Garner’s security and HIPAA compliance obligations
The ideal candidate has:
4+ years of hands-on experience operating production cloud infrastructure at scale in an SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering role
Deep expertise with Kubernetes and Terraform in a cloud-first environment (AWS preferred)
A strong track record with production observability: defining SLOs, building monitoring and alerting, and leading incident response and blameless post-incident reviews
Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python or Go, applied to infrastructure automation (experience with Kubernetes APIs a plus)
Experience driving cloud cost-efficiency and performance optimization across compute, storage, and networking
Experience supporting AI/ML or data-intensive workloads in production is a plus
Experience operating in a security-conscious or regulated environment (HIPAA, SOC 2) is a plus
Fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude) applied to real engineering and operations workflows, or strong motivation to build it fast
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
Technologies we use:
AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Istio, Python, Go, TypeScript, Postgres, NATS, Datadog, GitLab
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.
We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Compensation Transparency:
The target range for this position is $191,000 - $226,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health and more.

The role
You will own and evolve the company’s threat detection and threat-hunting capability. This role defines what “good” looks like for detection and increasingly engineers it directly as capability shifts into Cyber Security.
This is not an alert-triage role. You are here to understand attacker behaviour, convert it into high-fidelity detection logic, and raise the security baseline for the entire organisation.
You will partner closely with Security Operations, GRC and Engineering—setting standards, direction, and expectations—while progressively taking ownership of the most complex and high-value detection and threat engineering work.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Engineering high-fidelity threat detections across endpoint, identity, cloud, and SaaS
- Defining detection standards, principles, and quality thresholds for Security Operations
- Conducting proactive threat hunting based on attacker behaviour, not vendor alerts
- Translating threat intelligence and incident learnings into durable, reusable detections
- Mapping detections to MITRE ATT&CK and real-world attack paths
- Reducing alert fatigue through logic refinement, correlation, and contextual enrichment
- Advising and supporting during high-severity security incidents; contribute to runbooks and escalation playbooks
- Driving the transition of advanced detection capability into Cyber Security ownership
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in detection engineering, threat hunting, or advanced SOC roles
- Deep understanding of modern attacker tradecraft and intrusion techniques across the attack lifecycle
- Hands-on experience buidling detection logic in modern SIEM platforms (e.g Sentinel)
- Proficienty with scripting and programmaining (e.g. Python, KQL) to build detection pipelines and automation
- Willingness to challenge bad detections, weak assumptions, and vanity metrics
- Pragmatic mindset: precision and impact beat coverage theatre
- Experience operating beyond traditional SOC or MSSP models
- Hands-on cloud detection experience (identity, control plane, SaaS)
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and frameworks such as PCI DSS, NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO27001, CIS Benchmarks, and MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud.

THE ROLE
You will be a hands-on operator at the heart of the Cyber Security team, helping to run, harden, and continuously improve the day-to-day machinery of security. Where the Detection & Threat Engineer defines what "good" looks like, you help make it real, turning standards, runbooks, and tooling into reliable, repeatable operational practice.
This is a delivery-focused role for an experienced practitioner. You will spend your time in the tooling, in the tickets, and in the detail: enhancing the platforms the team depends on, tightening procedures, and making sure findings, alerts, and remediation work actually get closed out rather than left to drift.
You will partner closely with Senior Detection & Threat Engineers, Application Security, Information Security, Security Operations, and Engineering executing against the standards they set, feeding operational insight back up, and progressively taking ownership of the tooling and procedures that keep security operations running.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Supporting and enhancing security tooling SIEM, EDR, DLP, vulnerability management, and automation platforms including configuration, tuning, and day-to-day maintenance
- Building and improving operational procedures, runbooks, and playbooks so the team's response is consistent and repeatable
- Triaging and handling security alerts, escalating high-severity events, and contributing to incident response under the direction of senior engineers
- Tracking, coordinating, and driving pentest and vulnerability findings through to remediation across engineering teams (ownership, action plans, status, closure)
- Maintaining the accuracy and hygiene of security data asset inventories, finding trackers, and remediation records
- Supporting detection deployment and validation, and feeding operational feedback into detection tuning to reduce noise and alert fatigue
- Assisting with scripting and automation to remove manual toil from recurring operational tasks
- Producing clear operational reporting and metrics on findings, remediation progress, and tooling health
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Security Operations, SOC, or equivalent operational security role
- Practical experience operating modern security tooling SIEM (e.g. Sentinel), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms
- Solid understanding of security operations workflows: alert triage, incident handling, and vulnerability/finding remediation lifecycles
- Comfort with scripting to support automation and tooling (e.g. Python, KQL)
- Experience coordinating remediation across multiple engineering or platform teams, and keeping work moving to closure
- Working knowledge of cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure and GCP) and how security operations apply across cloud and SaaS
- Familiarity with common frameworks and standards such as PCI DSS, NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, and MITRE ATT&CK
- A pragmatic, ownership-minded operator: methodical, detail-oriented, and focused on getting things fixed rather than just logged
