THE ROLE
We're hiring our first Regional Vice President for the Southeast. You'll be the founding sales leader for the region. You'll hire and lead a team of Enterprise AEs, set the operating standard, and turn a strong base of developer adoption and ClickHouse Cloud sign-ups into a durable enterprise business. If you've been an early leader in a region before and want to do it again with a technically differentiated product, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build the region from the ground up. Own the Southeast territory plan, including which accounts, verticals, and metros to prioritize first, and where to place each new rep.
- Recruit and close top-tier AEs. Use your regional network to hire a team of Enterprise AEs and keep growing it. Hire for technical curiosity, a proven record against a number, and high integrity.
- Own the number. Carry the regional quota and forecast it accurately every week, month, and quarter. Run rigorous pipeline and deal reviews using a MEDDPICC-style qualification standard.
- Land and expand enterprise accounts. Convert existing ClickHouse Cloud and open-source usage into committed enterprise agreements, then grow them as new use cases emerge. The Southeast's enterprise base spans financial services, payments, healthcare, logistics, retail, and media.
- Get into deals. Join executive meetings, pressure-test deal strategy, and help reps through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving technical buyers, procurement, and security review.
- Run a tight team with Solutions Architects. Work hand in hand with SAs and SEs so every opportunity is technically sound and every customer is set up to grow.
- Work the full GTM machine. Partner with Marketing, Partners/Alliances (including cloud marketplaces), and our product-led growth motion to build pipeline and pick up self-serve accounts ready for a sales-assisted conversation.
- Be ClickHouse's face in the Southeast. Build our presence with customers, partners, and the local data and developer community through executive events, meetups, and field programs.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10+ years of enterprise software sales in data infrastructure, databases, analytics, observability, or cloud, including a strong record as a quota-carrying seller.
- 5+ years leading enterprise sales teams as a first- or second-line leader, with consistent attainment you can walk us through number by number.
- A record of building a region or team from an early stage: hiring the first reps, defining territories, and growing a new geography into a predictable business.
- A deep Southeast network of enterprise AEs, customers, and partners, and a reputation that makes strong sellers want to work for you.
- Forecasting and qualification discipline (MEDDPICC or similar). You know the difference between a commit and a hope, and your leadership can trust your call.
- Technical fluency. You can talk architecture with data engineers and CTOs, and you can tell when a deal is stalling for technical reasons and when it's commercial.
- Experience with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models, and an understanding that in a consumption business the signed deal is where the revenue starts.
- The ClickHouse DNA: integrity, hunger, and accountability. You're curious, serious about the craft, and happy to roll up your sleeves.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience as an early sales leader or early seller in the Southeast at a high-growth data or infrastructure company.
- Background selling open-source or developer-led products alongside a product-led growth funnel.
- Familiarity with real-time analytics, OLAP and columnar databases, observability, or AI/LLM workloads.
- Established relationships with data and technology leaders at major Southeast enterprises.
- Experience co-selling with AWS, GCP, or Azure and transacting through cloud marketplaces.
PERKS
- Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
- Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.
- Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options.
- Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries.
- A USD$500 Home office setup if you’re a remote employee.
- Global Gatherings – We believe in the power of in-person connection and offer opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites.

NeoCloud BD Pursuit Specialist / Account Executive
Backblaze (Nasdaq: BLZE)
| Reports to the Head of NeoCloud Sales
How We Got Here
We started by building storage servers from scratch in a Palo Alto apartment to save 90% on hardware. Turns out hard constraints make for pretty good engineering. That discipline forged a platform that performs as well or better than competitors, scales to multi-exabyte workloads, and costs a fraction of what AWS or Google charge. AI infrastructure runs on data. Storage gets hard at scale. We've been breaking, rebuilding, and improving that storage layer for 20 years.
Today, the world's leading AI infrastructure providers, neoclouds, and data-intensive businesses run on Backblaze. Our platform includes:
B2 Overdrive
- high-throughput object storage engineered for AI infrastructure, GPU workloads, and massive-scale data pipelines
B2 Neo
- white-label enterprise cloud storage powering neocloud platforms for AI, HPC, and media
B2 Cloud Storage
- S3-compatible object storage with predictable pricing, free egress, and no lock-in
Computer Backup
- automatic, continuous endpoint backup for Macs and PCs
500,000+ customers. 175 countries. Nasdaq: BLZE. backblaze.com
The Role
NeoClouds are GPU-rich, AI-native infrastructure providers, and they need fast, affordable, S3-compatible storage at scale. Backblaze is the high-performance capacity storage layer for AI. You will win these accounts.
This is a new-logo role. You will own a named set of NeoClouds from the top 80 worldwide and pursue them from first meeting to signed contract.
This is not an inbound role. If you want a defined territory and a queue of warm leads, it isn't the right fit. If your instinct is to pick an account, find the engineer who feels the storage cost first, and work up to the CXO, keep reading.
What You Will Do
Pursue named accounts.
Build a pursuit plan for each account. Map the buying group from infrastructure engineers to the CXO, and build relationships across it.
Run discovery.
Learn how each NeoCloud runs its stack, where storage costs and performance limit it, and how Backblaze fits. Work with the Sales Engineer and Field CTO on technical validation and proof-of-concept testing.
Choose the route.
Your motion is Sell-To. Decide with your manager when an account also calls for Sell-With, which Strategic Partnerships runs with the Head of NeoCloud Sales. When a partner such as NVIDIA, Super Micro, Weka, VAST, or AMD helps win the account, bring in Strategic Partnerships.
Shape the deal.
Work with your manager and legal on multi-year commitments, SLAs, and revenue share when Backblaze runs behind a NeoCloud's storage service.
Sell inside Backblaze.
Pull Cloud Operations and Engineering into the integration early. Their time is as scarce as your buyer's, and you will earn it.
Line up executive sponsors.
Secure a Backblaze executive sponsor and a customer executive sponsor on every priority account.
Hand off and expand.
Bring in the strategic account manager in Customer Success as customers go live, and stay in the account as it grows.
Keep the forecast honest.
Maintain accurate pipeline, next steps, and close dates in the CRM.
What We Are Looking For
Infrastructure sales expertise
, with a record of closing complex, multi-year deals in storage, cloud, compute, networking, or data center infrastructure
Technical fluency.
You run most technical conversations with infrastructure engineers and architects about GPU clusters, networking, and storage yourself, and earn their trust. The Sales Engineer owns deeper validation and proofs of concept
Executive presence.
You have built VP, SVP, and CTO relationships and can lead those meetings
Hunter drive.
You open doors in accounts that do not know you yet, and you stay with a long pursuit
Seller of record.
You have carried a quota and closed deals with your name on them
Deal structure experience.
You have negotiated SLA, IP, and revenue-share terms on deals you closed, not just understood them
Team play.
You work well with sales engineers, partner teams, and operations teams to land one account
Also True of the Right Person
Existing relationships with NeoCloud technical or executive leaders
Experience with OEM, ISV, or co-sell motions
Familiarity with S3-compatible object storage, data egress economics, and AI/ML data pipelines
This Is Not the Role for You If
You want a defined territory or an inbound queue rather than named accounts you have to open
You prefer a short sales cycle to a long pursuit
You hand technical questions to someone else and wait for the answer
You want to bring a SaaS motion here unchanged
You work accounts alone rather than with sales engineering, partners, and operations
How We Will Interview
We will ask you to walk us through a pursuit you ran from first meeting to signed contract, including a long one that stalled and how you kept it moving. We will ask how you earned an infrastructure engineer's trust. We will ask for your own view of how you would approach this role. You will hold cross-functional conversations with the Sales Engineer and the Field CTO, because you will pursue accounts with them. And you will go through a panel, so we can see how you work.
At Backblaze, we value being fair and good to our customers, partners, and employees. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the core of our values. We are committed to fostering a workforce where all employees feel a sense of belonging regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, socio-economic status, ability, veteran status, and education. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's customer-facing teams are often the first place a customer sees what Claude can do. As a Demo Engineer, you'll build the demos, reference implementations, and reusable tooling that help those teams make new capabilities tangible, relevant, and trustworthy, ideally within days of a product launch rather than weeks after.
This role sits between product engineering, technical storytelling, and GTM execution. You'll own ambiguous, high-leverage problems end to end: prototyping an agentic experience for a new capability, then hardening it into something reliable that other teams can run on their own. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and our sales and solutions teams, and you'll bring what you learn from customer-facing work back to the people building the products.
Because a demo is frequently someone's first impression of what our models can and can't do, accuracy and honesty matter as much as polish. Success in this role looks like customer-facing teams demonstrating new capabilities sooner and with more confidence, recurring requests becoming reusable assets rather than one-off projects, and field insights shaping product and launch-readiness decisions.
Responsibilities
Own demo readiness for new and priority Claude capabilities, including environments, integrations, synthetic data, evaluations, reliability checks, and fallback paths
Build prototypes, agents, and reference flows that make complex capabilities concrete and tie them to clear customer outcomes
Turn recurring requests into reusable accelerators such as companion apps, templates, Skills, plugins, and self-service demo packages that scale across customer-facing teams

Define and raise the bar for demo quality across accuracy, safety, reliability, usability, and adoption
Decide when a customer need calls for a bespoke build and when it should become a shared capability
You may be a good fit if you have
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience shipping working software end to end
Hands-on experience building applications or agents on top of LLM APIs, including prompting, tool use, and retrieval

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Own the benefits strategy and roadmap, covering medical, dental, vision, life and disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k), leave of absence, mental health and wellness, and global/international offerings, and recommend changes backed by data and market benchmarking.

Administer and optimize benefits technology (HRIS, benefits administration platform, and carrier feeds), including integrations, data accuracy, and reconciliation of invoices and eligibility.
Serve as the escalation point for complex employee benefits, leave, and accommodation cases, and coach People Operations teammates on resolution.
Design and deliver clear, engaging benefits communications and education that help employees make informed choices.
Evaluate benefits for new geographies and acquisitions, and support the integration of new employee populations.
Build scalable processes, documentation, and metrics (participation, cost per employee, utilization, satisfaction) and report insights to People leadership.
Stay current on regulatory changes, market trends, and emerging benefits solutions, and proactively bring recommendations to the team.
Qualifications:
8+ years of progressive benefits experience, including significant ownership of renewals, open enrollment, and vendor management in a high-growth technology or similarly fast-paced environment.
Deep working knowledge of US benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and state/local requirements) and of health plan funding models, including fully insured and self-funded arrangements.
Demonstrated ability to analyze plan data, build cost models, and turn them into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Experience with benefits administration platforms and HRIS systems (for example, Workday, Rippling, or similar) and with managing carrier and eligibility integrations.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with a track record of improving cost, service, or employee outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex topics simply to employees and executives alike.
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
High standards for accuracy, confidentiality, and sound judgment with sensitive employee information.
Comfortable working with a highly distributed team across time zones.

Experience supporting benefits for a multi-country workforce or through M&A integration.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Millions of small businesses and their advisors use Xero reports and insights to decide what to do next. AI is changing how people understand their finances faster than any shift since the cloud, and Reporting & Insights is where Xero meets that change. Over the next few years we’re evolving reporting and insights for the agentic era, where customers ask an AI about their numbers as often as they open a Balance Sheet. As the senior technical leader for Reporting & Insights, you’ll set the multi-year technical direction, from the reports businesses file to the insights that tell them what to do next. You’ll also help hire the first Reporting & Insights engineers in Vancouver and decide how they work.
THE TECHNICAL CHALLENGES
Set a 3-year architecture across Reporting & Insights. Reporting and Xero Analytics run on a mix of modern services and systems that have grown with Xero over many years. You’ll define one target state across both, decide how they build on Xero’s data platform, and secure the investment to get there. You’ll design for high throughput, low latency and resilience, so reporting and insights scale with Xero’s largest and most complex customers.
Evolve the platform without breaking trust. Accountants file tax returns from these numbers, so correctness comes first. You’ll lead the evolution of the data foundations behind about 150 reports, sequenced across teams and organisational boundaries. Customers keep the numbers they trust, on foundations built for what comes next.
Make reporting and insights AI-native. AI changes what reporting and insights can be: answers to plain-language questions, insights that reach customers where they work, and analysis that once took an accountant hours. Every answer still has to reconcile to the ledger. You’ll define the foundations: how agents query financial data safely, how answers stay grounded and explainable, and how we prove correctness at scale. We want teams across Xero to build on what you create.
IMPACT
In your first six months you’ll own the Reporting & Insights architecture and set a direction for the data platform and the evolution of both products that engineering, Product and leadership back.
At twelve months you will have:
- Set a multi-year technical strategy for Reporting & Insights
- Delivered new foundations for the first major report families, setting Reporting & Insights up for its next phase of growth
- Opened Reporting & Insights to bigger businesses, with performance that scales to our largest customers
- Put shared foundations for AI-native reporting and insights into production
- Grown the Lead and Senior Engineers around you and raised the technical bar across the group
Beyond year one, you’ll shape where Reporting & Insights goes next, and help steer Xero’s wider data and AI direction alongside the leadership team.
OWNERSHIP
You’re the senior technical voice for Reporting & Insights. You own the multi-year technical strategy and target architecture, and you make the calls that cross team and domain boundaries. You shape the roadmap with the GM and Product, decide where we invest in foundational capabilities, and align teams across regions behind one direction. You stay hands-on where it counts: reference implementations, foundational frameworks and the hardest architecture problems
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll report to the GM of Engineering. You’ll partner with the engineering managers and teams across Reporting & Insights, who know these products and their data in depth. You’ll shape the product and AI roadmap with the Reporting & Insights Product leads. You’ll also work with Principal Engineers and platform teams across Xero, including the accounting core and data platform teams that own systems we depend on.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-have:
- You’ve set technical strategy for a domain or portfolio over a 2 to 3 year horizon, and aligned multiple teams behind it.
- You’ve led the evolution of a large, high-traffic, correctness-critical system across organisational boundaries.
- You have depth in high-throughput, low-latency, resilient distributed systems and data-heavy architecture, and you still contribute hands-on where it matters.
- You connect external shifts, AI above all, to product and architecture strategy, and you know where LLMs and agents belong in a system.
- You grow leaders. You’ve mentored Lead and Senior Engineers into bigger roles, and your writing turns complex direction into decisions people act on.
Nice to have:
- Financial, reporting or analytics domain experience
- LLM or agent-based features in production
- .NET and AWS
- A presence in the wider tech community through talks, writing or open source
HOW WE WORK
We’re bold in our vision and pragmatic in execution, delivering useful improvements along the way rather than waiting for a large rewrite. We invest in AI to learn faster and focus effort on higher-value problems, while engineers stay accountable for what they ship. We use shared frameworks to avoid reinvention, leaving teams room to innovate. Engineers own their work, including quality, reliability, and on-call. Leaders set context and priorities, and engineers help shape the solutions.
WHERE WE WORK
We offer a hybrid model that blends the flexibility of working from home with the collaboration of the office, including designated boost days in our modern office spaces. This role is open to hybrid candidates in Vancouver, British Columbia, or San Mateo, California. We also welcome applications from candidates across Canada interested in relocating to Vancouver, and from remote candidates in Seattle, Washington.
OUR HIRING PROCESS
1. TX phone screen (45 minutes): a conversation with your Talent Specialist about your background, motivations and the role.
2. Technical assessments: a coding assessment and a systems design assessment, run through an independent third-party provider and based on real-world scenarios.
3. Technical deep dive (45–60 minutes): with a Principal Engineer and the hiring team. You'll walk through a past project you led, covering how you thought about it, executed it and led through its complexity.
4. Values / Future Proof Xero (45 minutes): how you show up day to day, aligned with Xero's values and capabilities such as adaptability, ownership, customer thinking and AI fluency.
5. LEADership (45–60 minutes): real examples of how you lead, influence and deliver in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, assessed against Xero's leadership principles
COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We don’t just hire for a role; we invest in people. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - which means your value isn't just a single number on a paycheque. While base salary is a core component, we look at your compensation through a holistic lens that includes equity, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The expected base salary range for this role in:
- Washington, WA & San Mateo, CA: $287,000 - $320,000 USD
Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:
- Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance-based cash or equity (RSUs) incentives depending on your role level, and company performance.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and 21 days PTO, 10 days of Wellbeing leave, 5 days of Xtra Leave, 1 volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, paid parental leave. Further information included on our Xero Perks https://careers.xero.com/inside-xero/benefits-wellbeing/ page
Xero uses AI to help screen applications based on job-related qualifications. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make automated hiring decisions. A human recruiter reviews all candidates before any hiring action is taken.

- Judgment: Understand risk in the context of a hyperscaling business, have sound judgment, and be strategic in your decision-making. You will not be afraid to make judgment calls, and you will be empowered to do so.

- A strong background in negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts, preferably in SaaS, AI, or enterprise software.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to partner with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
EVEN BETTER…

- Experience working at a high-growth startup and operating with a sense of ownership.
- Industry specific knowledge in any of the following: Financial Services, Healthcare, Telecoms, Insurance and/or Consumer.
OUR VALUES

We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
