Who we are
Our mission is to bring clarity and control to the world's most complex codebases. AI is accelerating code creation, but the infrastructure to understand, oversee, and evolve that code hasn't kept pace. Sourcegraph gives engineering organizations full visibility across their systems, precise context for their agents, and the ability to execute coordinated code changes at scale. As agentic development becomes the dominant engineering paradigm, we provide the context layer teams need to take control of their codebase.
With Code Search, Deep Search, MCP, and Agentic Batch Changes, we deliver on that mission today - giving engineering teams and their AI tools the cross-repo context to navigate massive codebases with confidence, and the ability to make changes across hundreds of repositories at once.
Companies like Stripe, Reddit, and Leidos rely on Sourcegraph to ship faster and with higher quality. We're backed by a16z, Sequoia, and Redpoint, and proud to operate as a globally distributed team that values high agency, direct communication, and customer love.
If you want to build the infrastructure that lets every engineering team - and every agent they deploy - operate on their codebase with confidence, join us.

Why this job is exciting
Sourcegraph is at the forefront of building AI tools to solve the biggest problems in the software industry, problems that only get bigger as codebases grow and as more of the work is done by agents. The
Code Understanding
team owns the surfaces where that intelligence meets the developer:
Deep Search
, our agentic, multi-step answer engine across an enterprise's entire lineup of codebases,
Query Assist
, turning natural language queries into Sourcegraph query syntax,
Smart Hovers
, concisely summarizing symbols right where devs need it, guided diff review, and the APIs that both humans and AI agents rely on every day.
Most of what makes those surfaces tick is
agent engineering
: a blend of software engineering, machine learning, and statistics. Agent engineering tells us which model to use and when, how to retrieve and pack context, how to measure answer quality, where to fine-tune or distill a smaller model to cut costs and latency, and how to expand a single LLM call into a reliable multi-step agent. As the
staff ML and agent engineer on Code Understanding
, you'll be the technical owner of it: setting the tam’s direction for models, evaluations, and agentic systems, making our products measurably better, faster, and cheaper, and raising the team's fluency in building with models.
This is a
staff-level role
: we're hiring a technical leader, not just a strong individual contributor. The primary need is a production ML and evaluation authority who also builds production agent systems. You'll own the hardest, most ambiguous problems in this space, set standards others follow, and influence direction beyond your immediate team. You'll get the exhilarating chance to drive the vision on how we can provide the best code understanding experience on the market by combining our deterministic, large-scale systems and AI into experiences never seen before.
Concretely, you'll own work like:
Agentic systems.
You'll design and harden the multi-step, tool-using agent loops behind current and new agentic experiences, turning research and experiments into reliable, observable, and affordable products at enterprise scale.
Pragmatic use of evaluations.
Crafting agentic products means needing to tell when a change actually helped, which is hard when agents keep changing and the product keeps shifting. You'll bring judgment about where evaluations earn their keep, when to use targeted smoke tests and metrics, and how to avoid noise dressed up as rigor, so we can move fast with confidence.
Models: selection, upgrading, and training.
You'll decide which models we run where, drive upgrades, and fine-tune our own when that's the right call.
Retrieval and context engineering.
You'll push on how we ground models in a customer's code - retrieval, ranking, context windows, citations - to make answers more accurate and verifiable.
Cost and latency.
Every surface has a per-user economic budget. You'll treat cost and latency as product features, and profile, distill, cache, and right-size models so we can ship ambitious features sustainably.
You'll do this on a small, senior-leaning team that ships quickly, owns a lot of product surface, and has streamlined product management: engineers here talk to customers, frame the problem, and own it end-to-end. You'll have real agency over technical direction and a direct line to the impact of your work.
📅 Within one month, you will…
Get the Code Understanding products and their model/agent pipelines running end-to-end locally, and land your first improvements to a model, prompt, retrieval path, or eval.
Build a clear picture of where the AI engineering pain is, and the product surfaces most constrained by them.
Get to know the team and our customers, and start forming your own opinions about where our agentic products should go next.
Join the team's on-call support rotation.
📅 Within three months, you will…
Own a meaningful agentic slice of the product end-to-end, driving it from problem-framing through rollout and measurement.
Establish how the team ships model and prompt changes responsibly: the evals, dashboards, and guardrails that make quality and cost regressions visible before customers feel them.
Begin up-leveling teammates in building with models by pairing with them, reviewing their code, and modeling good agent engineering instincts.
📅 Within six months, you will…
Be the recognized technical authority for agent engineering and agentic systems on Code Understanding. You will be the person teammates, and increasingly the wider department, defer to on model, eval, and agent-design decisions.
Have measurably moved the products: better answer quality, lower cost/latency, or new agentic capabilities that weren't feasible before.
Be setting the direction of the team's roadmap where it intersects agents, bringing conviction, backed by evidence, about which bets are worth making, and pulling other engineers up to execute on them.
About you
You are a
staff engineer and technical leader with hard-won skills across production machine learning, evaluation, and agent systems
. This high-leverage role relies on your ability to make sound model and evaluation decisions for a fast-moving product, build the production systems around them, steer technical direction, and be a force multiplier for a talented, product-minded team. You're equally comfortable reasoning about an eval harness, a fine-tuning run, a retrieval pipeline, and the multi-step agent loop that ties them together, and you make everyone around you better at all of it.
You operate at staff scope: you own the most ambiguous, highest-risk problems in your domain, go into whatever codebase a problem requires, set standards and patterns others adopt, and translate fluidly between engineering goals and business objectives. You influence direction beyond your immediate team. You lead through technical excellence and mentorship.
You have personally owned a production model lifecycle.
You have trained or fine-tuned at least one model and taken it from dataset construction through evaluation, production rollout, and monitoring. You can explain how you chose between training or fine-tuning and prompting or retrieval, how you chose baselines and metrics, what error analysis revealed, and how production evidence affected the next version.
You build agents, fluently and opinionatedly.
You've designed multi-step agentic systems and made them reliable, observable, and cost-bounded. You have a point of view on where agents shine and where deterministic code or human judgment is required.
You have strong evaluation judgment.
You build representative datasets, meaningful baselines, useful error taxonomies, and release criteria that connect offline measurements to production behavior. You know where rigorous evaluations earn their keep, where lightweight smoke tests or qualitative review are enough, and where a precise-looking metric is misleading.
You treat cost and latency as product constraints.
You make measured quality, latency, and cost tradeoffs and use the appropriate combination of model selection, prompting, retrieval, caching, distillation, and fine-tuning rather than reaching reflexively for a more complex model.
You operate autonomously on ambiguous problems.
Given a rough product idea, a few customer quotes, and a Slack thread, you come back with a plan, a prototype, milestones, and a point of view on tradeoffs, without it being pre-scoped. You own high-technical-risk projects end-to-end.
You contribute beyond your domain.
As a senior IC, you go into whatever part of the codebase a problem requires, recognize issues beyond your immediate area, and translate between engineering goals and business objectives.
You up-level the people around you.
You mentor by pairing on hard problems, providing substantive design and code reviews, and spreading agent engineering literacy across the team. You see investing in your teammates' growth as part of the job.
You're customer and product-driven.
You're comfortable on customer calls and in feedback threads, you turn raw signals into requirements, scopes, and milestones, and you push back when feedback would lead the product astray.
You're pragmatic, not a perfectionist.
You ship the smallest correct thing, prefer robust solutions over complicated ones, and keep a high-quality bar with simplicity.
On the engineering fundamentals:
You're a strong software engineer who can ship production services.
You're comfortable across our stack - Go on the backend, TypeScript on the frontend, GraphQL, Postgres, Docker - or you're clearly able and eager to get there.
You're fluent with agentic coding tools, and you understand and own every line it submits.
You're comfortable in an async-first, multi-service, fast-paced remote environment.
Nice-to-haves:
You've shipped an LLM-powered or agentic developer-facing product you can speak about opinionatedly: what worked, what didn't, what you'd do differently.
You've fine-tuned, distilled, or trained models to meet cost, latency, or quality targets in production.
Experience with retrieval, ranking, embeddings, or search relevance.
Experience working directly with enterprise customers and translating their needs into a product.
Experience mentoring or up-leveling engineers, especially raising a team's agent engineering fluency.

If you want to build and own the systems that decide what JetBrains customers are entitled to use and bill them accurately for it, this is for you. You will focus on designing backend services, keeping complex commercial flows correct, and tackling hard distributed systems challenges on the critical path of every paid request.
About JetBrains
We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
What you’ll do
At JetBrains, the Cloud Platform department builds the underlying infrastructure that powers authentication, paid capabilities, usage metering, and accounting. Within this department, the Licensing & Billing team sits right at the center of our commercial model, turning what a customer buys into what they are actually allowed to use, and accounting for that consumption accurately enough to bill on.
The complexity of our entitlement, quota, and metering systems continues to grow. In this role, you will own the correctness and evolution of these backend services, take full ownership of end-to-end data flows, tackle distributed consistency across unreliable upstream systems, and ensure revenue-affecting data migrations happen cleanly without taking services offline.
Day to day, you will:
Design, build, and operate backend services that decide what a customer is entitled to and what their usage costs.
Own flows end to end, from ingesting licensing and purchase data from upstream systems to enforcing quotas and recording consumption.
Evolve our domain model to handle new commercial structures, combining seat-based plans and usage-based models.
Design integrations with external systems, ensuring correctness through idempotency, ordering, reconciliation, and eventual consistency.
Plan and execute live data migrations using feature flags, dual writes, backfills, and verification at every stage.
Build observability into our systems by defining invariants, metrics, and alerts to catch silent divergence before customers do.
Design internal APIs with explicit focus on versioning, backward compatibility, and developer experience for other JetBrains teams.
Improve system performance and reliability under continuous production load while decommissioning legacy subsystems.
Write integration tests against real dependencies and maintain reliable test infrastructure.
Investigate production incidents, find root causes, and follow through on lasting fixes.
What you’ll bring
An engineer’s dedication to accuracy, especially in domains where system errors have direct financial impact.
Pragmatic judgment when designing distributed systems where correctness under unreliable delivery is the main constraint.
A habit of trusting metrics, traces, and logs to understand production behavior rather than relying on assumptions.
Comfort navigating and simplifying large existing codebases containing legacy decisions.
Clear, direct communication skills to agree on API contracts across teams with different priorities.
A focus on testing as an essential design tool rather than an afterthought.
What you’ll need
A proven track record of building and operating backend services on the JVM platform using Kotlin or Java.
A solid working knowledge of relational databases, including transactions, isolation levels, locking, indexing, and live schema migrations (PostgreSQL preferred).
A deep understanding of distributed systems patterns, such as idempotency, retry strategies, eventual consistency, and data reconciliation.
Practical experience making live data migrations or system changes without downtime using feature flags and staged rollouts.
Experience designing versioned, backward-compatible APIs for other engineering teams.
Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka.
The ability to diagnose, debug, and resolve production incidents in complex environments.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
What success looks like
Success in this role means building a bulletproof entitlement and metering foundation that product teams can trust without hesitation. You will have successfully migrated live commercial systems to support new billing models without downtime or data divergence. Silent errors will be caught automatically by system invariants before affecting users, and internal teams will integrate seamlessly with your clean, versioned APIs.
Why join JetBrains?
Strong base salary. We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.
Flexible work location. Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office.

ABOUT ENEBA
At Eneba, we’re building an open, safe and sustainable marketplace for the gamers of today and tomorrow. Our marketplace supports close to 20m+ active users (and growing fast!), provides a level of trust, safety and market accessibility unparalleled to none. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished in such a short time and look forward to sharing this journey with you. Join us as we continue to scale, diversify our portfolio, and grow with the evolving community of gamers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Eneba is hiring an Account Manager to own a portfolio of mobile game publishers on our rewarded network. This is a commercial role with a heavy performance-marketing core: you will be the strategic point of contact for your clients, and you will personally build, launch and optimize the event reward funnels that drive their results.
The best person for this job is someone who is equally comfortable on a QBR call with a client’s Head of UA and in the dashboard at 9pm rebalancing reward tiers on an underperforming event. You will own the end-to-end performance of your accounts — the relationship, the funnel setup, the optimization, and the revenue behind it.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own client relationships. Serve as the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of mobile game publishers, building trusted relationships with UA managers, directors and CMOs, as well as monetization and growth stakeholders.
- Grow your book of business. Expand accounts through cross-sells (bringing additional titles from a client’s portfolio onto the network) and upsells (growing budget and spend on titles already live, and expanding into more geos).
- Set up and evaluate event reward funnels. Design reward structures using industry best practices, understanding event mechanics and payout tiers from scratch; QA them pre-launch and assess whether the funnel economics work for both the client and the network.
- Review performance and optimize events. Monitor live events against KPIs, diagnose drop-off points in the funnel, and make data-led adjustments to reward tiers, targeting, creative and pacing to hit performance targets.
- Act as a strategic advisor. Bring clients benchmarks, category insight and a clear point of view on what to run next — not just a status update on what ran last week.
- Own the invoicing and billing process. Manage the commercial back end of your accounts end-to-end, coordinating with finance to ensure accurate, on-time billing and clean resolution of any discrepancies.
- Plan and run QBRs. Schedule, prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews — virtual or in person — that translate performance data into a forward-looking growth plan.
- Drive client retention. Spot early signals of churn risk, and propose and implement retention strategies that keep accounts growing rather than lapsing.
- Own end-to-end campaign performance. Take full accountability for how your clients’ campaigns perform — from onboarding and setup through to results, reporting and renewal.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years in mobile ad tech in an account management, partner management, customer success or performance/UA role.
- Direct, hands-on experience setting up and optimizing reward funnels. This is the highest priority requirement for this role. You should be able to walk us through a funnel you built, what the reward structure looked like, what underperformed, and exactly what you changed to fix it.
- Strong performance analytics instincts. Comfortable working in dashboards and spreadsheets, and confident with the metrics that matter in this space — conversion rate, completion rate, CPI/CPA, ARPU, ROAS, retention and LTV.
- Commercial ownership. A track record of growing existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell, and comfort holding a revenue or growth number.
PREFERRED
- Rewarded network experience — offerwall, rewarded playtime, or rewarded engagement/events. This is a strong plus and will move a candidate to the top of the pile.
- Experience working directly with mobile game publishers and an understanding of how their UA teams operate.
- Familiarity with MMPs and attribution (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular) and with BI/reporting tooling.
- Exposure to the commercial mechanics of a network — margin, payout models, budget pacing and invoicing.

MEET THE TEAM 👥
Hello 👋 I'm Kyle, VP Finance at Cleo. Im excited to be growing our Finance team as Cleo enters its next stage of scaling.
Finance at Cleo is about much more than reporting the numbers. We help the business understand its economics, make better decisions, allocate capital, and build the financial infrastructure needed to scale.
Today, our team of ~25 spans Controllership, Financial Operations, Treasury, FP&A, Strategic Finance, Capital Markets, and Investor Relations, supported by a dedicated Data Science team working across all areas.
We work closely with teams across Cleo, and we expect our people to understand the business, take real ownership, and master their craft.
It’s an exciting time to join: the company is growing quickly, the problems are getting more interesting, and there is a huge amount still to build.
About the Role ✍️
We are currently hiring a Head of Treasury (L5) reporting to the VP of Finance. As Cleo has scaled, so has the complexity of cash moving through the business - you'll bring together liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking infrastructure, funding operations and FX strategy into a single, scalable treasury function built for a fast-growing consumer lending platform operating across multiple facilities and geographies.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Own Cleo's group-wide liquidity strategy, building short, medium and long-term cash forecasts across entities, currencies and funding sources, and translating them into recommendations on capital allocation and funding needs
- Own daily cash positioning and treasury operations supporting Cleo's lending facilities - drawdowns, repayments, settlements and collateral movements - partnering closely with Capital Markets to ensure facilities run efficiently
- Strengthen cash controls, reconciliations and audit readiness with Core Finance and Finance Operations, and establish treasury policies and governance that support scale and public-company readiness
- Define the roadmap for treasury systems, data and automation, reducing reliance on manual processes, and build clear reporting and dashboards across liquidity, funding capacity and facility utilisation
- Establish operating rhythms across FP&A, Accounting, Capital Markets, Engineering and Operations so cash movements and forecasts are coordinated, transparent and auditable
- Own Cleo's FX strategy - identify and manage currency exposure across a multi-currency, multi-geography business, and run and improve the hedging programme, from setting risk policy to executing hedges and reporting exposure to leadership
- Scope and hire your first Treasury Operations team member, then grow the function as the business does
What We're Looking For 🕵️
- You've built treasury before - stood up or materially transformed a treasury function, not just run one that already existed, in fintech, consumer lending, financial services, or another highly regulated environment
- Consumer-lending fluency, with an understanding of warehouse facilities, borrowing bases, receivables financing, settlement flows and bank partnerships, comfortable supporting multiple concurrent facilities alongside a Capital Markets team
- Hands-on and strategic - you enjoy building from first principles (operating model, controls, systems) and are equally comfortable approving a wire or designing the policy that governs it
- Forecasting and analytical rigour, having built models and frameworks that leadership actually makes decisions on
- Cross-functional influence, able to bring Finance, Accounting, Capital Markets, Engineering, Product and Operations along with you and explain complex treasury concepts to an exec audience
- Bias to action, zero ego - this role exists because complexity is outrunning capacity, and you'll ship a better setup quickly

As a Blockchain Engineer at Ondo, you will help design our smart contract systems - not just the contracts themselves, but how they're deployed, secured, monitored, and managed across their entire lifetime, and how they connect to the people and products that depend on them.
You'll design secure, efficient, and scalable smart contract solutions across many blockchain ecosystems powering Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization. But the harder and more important part of this role is everything around the contract: keeping it secure from deploy through every day it's live, building tooling that lets non-technical teammates safely view and manage on-chain state, and creating automated systems that take manual, error-prone work off the table.
You'll think about how a smart contract design decision ripples outward, to the web app, to the teams operating the system day to day, and ultimately to our end users. You'll collaborate with product, legal, compliance, web, and ops to make sure contracts are technically sound, regulatorily aligned, and genuinely operable by the teams who rely on them day to day. Throughout, you'll favor simple, elegant designs that let us move quickly and safely.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of finance by building the systems that bring real-world assets on-chain, and by making those systems something a whole organization can build on with confidence.
Responsibilities
Smart Contract System Design
: Contribute to the architecture of smart contract systems for Ondo's evolving product suite — covering new chain deployments, novel DeFi interoperability and bridging solutions, and DeFi protocols — with security, operability, and long-term maintainability designed in from the start.
Lifecycle Security & Operations:
Help ensure contract security not just at deploy but across the full lifetime of the system — including upgrade safety, administrative controls, and the operational guardrails that keep things safe as they evolve.
Tooling & Automation:
Build tooling and automated systems that let non-technical teammates safely view, monitor, and manage contracts without writing scripts or touching raw chain operations directly.
Cross-Functional Integration:
Connect smart contract design to the rest of the product — helping the web team integrate cleanly, helping operational teams monitor and manage without direct scripting, and ensuring design decisions flow sensibly through to end users.
Collaborative Execution:
Work closely with senior engineers and leadership on high-impact blockchain projects, contributing sound technical decisions aligned with long-term goals.
Requirements
Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.
Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills, verbal and written.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of software engineering experience.
1+ years in blockchain engineering, ideally from another DeFi protocol live on multiple chains.
Strong competency with Solidity; exposure to non-EVM smart contract languages a plus — particularly Solana.
Demonstrated ability to design
systems
, not just contracts — including tooling, automation, security across the contract lifecycle, and the integration points between contracts, applications, and operational teams.
Proven results building and scaling a DeFi protocol.
Python and/or TypeScript experience preferred (for building tooling and automation).
Strong technical grasp and excellent judgment on task prioritization.
Strong emphasis on understanding the "why" behind requirements and a commitment to defining the "minimum scope."
What we offer
Competitive compensation including salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) — we're well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation.
Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO).
Small remote-first team across many countries — you'll be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices.
A+ colleagues — our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, McKinsey, Circle, Uniswap.
Best-in-class investors — we are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We're seeking an experienced Executive Escalations Manager to be a founding member of a new pillar of our Operations organization: Community & Executive Escalations. This role is the front line of how Anthropic protects its reputation when high-stakes user issues surface through executive channels. You'll help stand up the function from scratch and operate it day-to-day. You'll be the person building the playbooks and escalation criteria, triaging incoming escalations, and running them to resolution alongside cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate combines calm-under-fire judgment with sharp written communication and a bias toward action.
Responsibilities:
Build the team's playbooks, escalation criteria, tooling solutions, and SOPs to successfully manage escalations coming from Anthropic’s executive team
Own executive escalations end-to-end during your coverage hours
Communicate crisply with internal stakeholders: brief executives on live situations, give Comms partners the facts they need, and keep incident channels useful and current
Write clear post-escalation reports that capture what happened, what we did, and what should change—so the next escalation is easier than the last
Lead a recurring escalations insights forum: identify patterns across escalations and drive the resulting product and policy changes with partner teams
You may be a good fit if you have:
6+ years of experience in escalation management, trust & safety operations, customer support, or a related front-line operations role—ideally at a consumer or developer platform.
Direct, hands-on experience running incidents or escalations: you've been the person investigating the issue, coordinating R&R with XFN partners, and writing executive comms.
Sharp written communication—you can brief a senior leader in three sentences and document an incident so the next responder can pick it up cold
Excellent judgment under pressure
Comfort coordinating across functions in real time and influencing partners without positional authority
A pattern-detection mindset—you spot the second-order issue beneath the first-order complaint and surface it to the right people
Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action; this team is brand new and you'll be helping define what good looks like as you operate
Excitement about protecting Anthropic's reputation and relationships at a moment when public attention on AI has never been higher
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$210,000
—
$260,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
