Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
You'll join Salmon's growing People Tech team to speed up automation projects across recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
What you'll do:
- Own HR process improvement and automation projects end-to-end, from business request to launched solution.
- Work across business analysis, project management, HR systems configuration, and automation — including AI-driven initiatives.
- Join a dedicated People Tech team working directly with internal stakeholders and developers, with real influence over how HR processes run.
What you'll own:
- Analyze and optimize internal HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Gather and document business requirements, map processes, and prepare functional specifications.
- Independently run HR systems automation and improvement projects from idea to launch.
- Work with business stakeholders and developers to coordinate the delivery of changes.
- Organize UAT, check solution quality, and support rollout.
- Support HR systems administration, troubleshoot issues, and train users.
What makes you a strong fit:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, HRIS Analyst, or Process Analyst.
- Hands-on experience automating HR processes specifically — recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, or similar — not just general business process automation.
- Experience independently running projects end-to-end: from requirements gathering to testing and launch.
- Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process modeling, documentation, and working closely with developers.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence, strong analytical skills, and the ability to solve problems independently.
- English B2+ for working with an international team and preparing documentation.
What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Fully remote work with core collaboration hours from 12:00 to 6:00 PM Manila time (UTC+8)
- Company-provided tools and equipment
Health and time off
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia
We believe strong teams are built by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and points of view. Salmon is an equal opportunity employer, and we make hiring decisions based on skills, experience, and potential.

ABOUT US
Ruby Labs is a leading tech company that creates and operates innovative consumer products. We offer a diverse range of opportunities across the health, education, and entertainment industries. Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to own and scale the AI layer of one of our core D2C subscription products. You will be fully responsible for production LLM features and the browser automation built around them end to end — prompt systems, structured outputs, evaluation, observability, and model selection — from first experiment to live release, with quality, reliability, and cost as your accountability.
This is a high-impact role suited for someone who decides with data, not intuition. Unmeasured prompt changes, untraced failures, and model swaps without benchmarks are not acceptable. You work in a modern TypeScript stack — Next.js, Cloudflare Workers and Containers with Hono, Hatchet task queues, Drizzle on Supabase Postgres, Vercel Blob. Browser automation on Browserbase and Playwright is roughly half of the job.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PROMPT SYSTEMS & STRUCTURED OUTPUTS
- Design dynamic prompt templates with conditional logic and context injection that maximise generation quality
- Enforce predictable outputs with JSON mode, function calling, Zod/JSON schemas, validators, and repair loops
- Own complex LLM workflows (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom) that integrate cleanly into application logic
BROWSER AUTOMATION
- Build and maintain browser automation on Browserbase Functions and Playwright that traverses web flows reliably
- Classify screens with a model inside each traversal, and decide what the model handles versus deterministic code
- Ship automations as frozen, published workers — versioned, reproducible, and safe to roll back
- Orchestrate runs through Hatchet with retries, timeouts, and failure traces that explain every broken run
EVALUATION & EXPERIMENTATION
- Build evaluation pipelines — test datasets, LLM-as-a-judge, RAGAS-style metrics — and score responses and screen classifications in Langfuse
- Trace complex LLM chains to find bottlenecks in cost, latency, and context-window usage
- Run A/B experiments across models and prompts through an AI gateway (OpenRouter, Cloudflare AI Gateway); release only on quantitative benchmarks
- Re-evaluate models as new architectures emerge; fine-tune when domain requirements demand it
PRODUCTION OWNERSHIP
- Take AI features from experiment to live production on Cloudflare Workers and Containers, and stay accountable after release

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
