BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE
Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $169 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
About the team
We build the products and infrastructure that millions of Canadians trust with their financial lives. Data & Engineering at Wealthsimple spans everything from the client-facing apps to the systems running underneath them — and we hold ourselves to a high bar on both. We move fast, but we build thoughtfully: quality, security, and scalability aren’t trade-offs here, they’re the standard.
The Production Engineering team sits within Platform Experience, on the boundary between Platform and Product. Our mandate is to raise reliability across Wealthsimple’s most critical flows — reducing incidents, helping service teams ship safely, and turning individual fixes into platform-wide improvements. We measure ourselves against two targets: 99.9% uptime on critical flows, and fewer than 1% of weekly active users experiencing errors in the app. If you want to work on hard problems with people who care deeply about craft, you’ll fit right in.
About the role
This is a new role — one that doesn’t yet exist at Wealthsimple — and it’s a meaningful one. As a Staff Software Developer on Production Engineering, you’ll bring senior technical leadership to the work of making Wealthsimple more reliable at scale. You’ll work across platform and product teams, identify the highest-leverage reliability problems, and build solutions that don’t just fix the immediate issue but raise the floor for everyone. This isn’t a role where you sit in one corner of the codebase. It’s a role where you shape how engineering gets done across the company.
What you’ll do
- Improve the platform to prevent incidents — designing and driving adoption of guardrails, sensible defaults, and engineering standards that reduce the likelihood of failures across services
- Build tooling that reduces time to mitigation when incidents occur, including contributing to our in-house product on AI-assisted incident response
- Own the investigation and follow-through on load test findings — translating results into concrete reliability improvements across critical flows
- Work across platform and product engineering teams as a technical influencer — participating in architecture and readiness reviews, coaching service owners, and driving adoption of scalable reliability practices
- Identify recurring failure patterns and design platform-level fixes that prevent them from showing up again in a different service
- Contribute to the team’s reliability syncs with product engineering, helping align on incident themes, critical-flow risks, and the next highest-leverage initiatives
Skills you bring
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with significant time in platform, infrastructure, or SRE work
- Demonstrated track record of improving reliability at scale — reducing incidents, building guardrails, or driving operational standards across multiple teams
- Strong proficiency in backend systems and distributed architecture; you can diagnose complex failure modes across a service mesh
- Experience with load testing and capacity planning, and the ability to translate findings into concrete engineering improvements
- Proven ability to work across engineering teams as a technical influencer — driving adoption of standards and practices without direct authority
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Argo and modern deployment tooling
- Strong written and verbal communication — comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to both engineering teams and senior leadership
Who you are
- You think in systems — you’re not looking for the fix, you’re looking for what caused the problem and how to make sure it doesn’t happen elsewhere
- You’re comfortable working without direct authority; you build credibility through the quality of your thinking and the clarity of your recommendations
- You hold a high bar for operational excellence without making it someone else’s problem to catch up to — you bring people along
- You’re energised by ambiguity, not slowed down by it; you know how to prioritise when everything feels urgent
- You’re curious about where AI-assisted tooling is headed in reliability engineering, and you want to help shape how we use it — not just observe it from a distance

We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.
We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.
This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading.
THE ROLE
RC Capital is RevenueCat's first move into financial services. Our first product, Early Payouts, gives developers access to App Store proceeds without waiting the usual 30 to 60 days for Apple and Google to pay them.
As Sales & Operations Specialist, RC Capital, you will own the customer lifecycle end-to-end - from identifying and qualifying suitable prospects through screening, onboarding, activation, ongoing support, account operations, and portfolio health. You will combine commercial judgment, customer care, operational discipline, and risk awareness to help RC Capital acquire and serve more healthy customers.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role on a small founding team. You might move from a discovery call to an onboarding issue, a portfolio review, and a workflow improvement in the same day. You will work closely with Sales, Support, Product, Data, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and GTM Operations, and report to the VP of Strategy & Operations. You will also help build the playbook and systems future teammates inherit.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN:
- Sales and qualification. Manage a portfolio of inbound and targeted outbound opportunities. Run discovery, assess product and customer fit, coordinate screening, handle objections, maintain momentum, and guide suitable prospects to a clear decision.
- Onboarding and activation. Lead approved customers from decision to activated. Ensure customers understand how to use Early Payouts successfully.
- Customer support and portfolio operations. Serve as a reliable point of contact for customers, including questions, disputes, and operational issues. Coordinate with RevenueCat Support and specialist teams, and own follow-through through resolution.
- Risk-aware execution. Apply documented customer, fraud, and risk policies consistently; investigate issues; document decisions; monitor emerging patterns; and make sound recommendations. Escalate exceptions and regulated or high-impact decisions to the appropriate risk, legal, finance, or leadership owner.
- Lifecycle performance and insight. Maintain a reliable view of pipeline, onboarding, support demand, usage, and portfolio health. Turn data into recommendations on funnel quality, conversion, time to activation, drop-off, retention, customer experience, and risk indicators. Bring structured customer insight to Product to inform roadmaps.
- Systems, automation, and playbooks. Improve CRM, support workflows, internal handoffs, reporting, documentation, and automation. Use AI thoughtfully to reduce manual work and response times without weakening controls or customer trust. Partner with Marketing, Operations, Data, and Product on durable implementations.
- Customer and growth. Partner with Marketing on focused acquisition and lifecycle experiments. Support marketing efforts like campaign execution, competitive analysis, and content that drives demand.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 4+ years in a high-ownership, customer-facing commercial or operations role spanning sales, account management, customer success, customer support, or customer operations.
- A track record of moving opportunities through a commercial process and managing a meaningful volume of customer relationships with strong follow-through.
- Experience in fintech, payments, lending, factoring, embedded finance, or another environment where customer growth and operational risk are closely connected.
- 1-2 years of marketing or growth experience running campaigns or managing CRM-driven outreach.
- Strong operational judgment: you clarify ownership, define next steps, document decisions, apply policy consistently, and recognize when an issue needs specialist review.
- Analytical fluency across CRM, support, and analytics tools, with the ability to diagnose funnel or portfolio performance and recommend action.
- Practical experience improving workflows with automation and AI, including judgment about where automation introduces unacceptable risk or a poor customer experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication: persuasive with prospects, clear during onboarding, calm in disputes, and concise with executives and cross-functional partners.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity on a small, autonomous team and working hours that meaningfully overlap with US time zones.
NICE TO HAVE
- Direct experience with payment operations, underwriting, fraud and risk workflows, disputes, or compliance-adjacent processes.
- Experience launching a new product, business line, or operating motion before the playbook was written.
- Knowledge of mobile apps, developer products, subscriptions, or App Store economics.
- Experience contributing to CRM or lifecycle campaigns, customer-facing content, or growth experiments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Notion, Linear, Intercom or Zendesk, Slack, Zoom, and product analytics platforms.
What success looks like
In your first 30 days
- Understand RC Capital's product, customers, unit economics, risk model, and role within RevenueCat.
- Map the lifecycle from first signal through activation and live-account support.
- Establish baseline reporting for pipeline quality, conversion, time to decision, time to activation, support demand, repeat usage, and portfolio health.
- Shadow sales, onboarding, support, risk, and account reviews; then handle initial customer interactions with support.
- Ship one concrete improvement to a workflow, report, playbook, or automation.
By 90 days
- Independently own a portfolio from qualification and screening through onboarding and ongoing operations, escalating genuine exceptions appropriately.
- Give the team a reliable view of pipeline, onboarding, support, usage, and portfolio performance, with recommendations rather than reporting alone.
- Run a consistent cadence for opportunity follow-up, onboarding, live-account reviews, and issue resolution.
- Ship workflow or automation improvements that reduce manual work or customer wait time without weakening controls.
- Support marketing efforts to deliver on targets.
- Translate recurring customer and operational friction into structured recommendations for Product, Data, Finance, Legal, Support, or Marketing.
By 6 to 12 months
- Improve key lifecycle measures such as conversion, activation speed, utilization and retention.
- Help grow a portfolio of healthy customers while keeping fraud, disputes, losses, and other agreed risk indicators within guardrails.
- Maintain a commercial and customer-operations playbook another teammate can follow without relying on context held only in people's heads.
- Help turn the early motion into a repeatable engine and identify which responsibilities should move to partner teams or future hires as volume grows.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator
- 10-year window to exercise vested equity options
- A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility
- 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually
- Paid desk at a co-working space
- Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Semantic Layer team in Bengaluru. You'll own the health, delivery, and growth of the team behind MetricFlow — building and coaching a group of engineers, setting technical direction in partnership with your leads, and ensuring one of the most important projects in the modern data stack keeps shipping with quality and momentum.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll spend most of your time growing people, running a healthy delivery process, and shaping strategy — but you'll stay close enough to the code and the architecture to make sound technical calls and earn the trust of a senior engineering team. You'll also be the steward of a public, community-facing open-source project, balancing the needs of internal roadmap and external contributors.
About the team
The Semantic Layer team owns the systems that turn dbt models into trusted, reusable business metrics. At the heart of this is
MetricFlow
— the open-source semantic engine that powers the dbt Semantic Layer. MetricFlow lets data teams define metrics once in code and consume them consistently across BI tools, notebooks, AI agents, and downstream applications.
This team is the steward of MetricFlow as an open-source project: shipping releases, reviewing community contributions, evolving the query compiler, and ensuring it integrates cleanly with the broader dbt ecosystem. The team works at the intersection of language design, query compilation, and distributed data execution — solving problems that directly shape how thousands of organizations measure their business.
What you'll do
Lead, coach, and grow a team of software engineers building MetricFlow — hiring, onboarding, career development, performance management, and day-to-day support.
Own delivery for the Semantic Layer team: planning, prioritization, execution, and predictable shipping of high-quality software.
Partner with your senior and staff engineers to set technical direction across metric definitions, query compilation, dimensional modeling, and SQL generation for multiple data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, and others).
Steward MetricFlow as an open-source project — set the bar for how the team triages issues, reviews external pull requests, manages releases, and engages the community on GitHub and in Slack.
Collaborate with engineering leaders across the dbt platform, dbt Core, and the Semantic Layer service to ensure MetricFlow integrates seamlessly with the rest of the dbt ecosystem.
Partner with product, design, and developer-relations counterparts to translate customer and community feedback into a clear, well-sequenced roadmap.
Drive engineering excellence in performance, reliability, and observability of metric query execution at scale.
Foster a culture of design docs, thoughtful code review, and durable engineering — shipping fast without shipping sloppy.
Skills we're looking for
Experience managing software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management, with a track record of shipping production systems.
A strong engineering foundation — you've built and shipped production software yourself and can engage credibly on architecture and technical tradeoffs with a senior team.
Familiarity with the technical domain: SQL fundamentals, how analytical query engines and data warehouses execute queries, and systems that involve parsing, compilation, or transformation (query planners, DSL compilers, type systems, or rule-based engines).
Solid grasp of software design principles: clean APIs, modularity, testability, and backwards compatibility — and the judgment to hold a team to them.
Excellent written and verbal communication — you can explain complex tradeoffs clearly to engineers, product managers, and external community members.
Experience leading in a distributed, asynchronous team environment.
Nice to have
Experience leading or contributing to a popular open-source project, including managing a community of external contributors.
Familiarity with dbt, MetricFlow, LookML, Cube, or other semantic-layer technologies.
Background in data warehousing internals, query optimization, or analytical SQL dialects.
Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and release engineering for Python libraries.
Exposure to building developer-facing APIs, SDKs, or CLIs.
Why join us
Impact at scale: Your team's code will run inside the data platforms of tens of thousands of companies, including some of the world's largest enterprises.
Open-source ownership: You'll lead the team behind a foundational open-source project — visible, reviewed, and used by the global data community.
A team that values craft: We invest in design docs, code review, and durable engineering. We ship fast, but we don't ship sloppy.
Competitive compensation: Market-leading salary, equity, comprehensive health insurance, generous time off, learning and wellness stipends, and home-office support.

Over the next 3 years, Twilio is rebuilding nearly every component of our observability platform, from data collection to real-time analytics. You will drive core initiatives that shift Twilio from fragmented tooling and wasteful data sprawl to a unified, OpenTelemetry-first observability stack built for scale.

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Lead the end-to-end architecture and delivery of key observability platform components, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and usability.
Drive consistency and quality across all observability signals—logs, metrics, traces, and continuous profiling—building intuitive workflows for engineers.
Serve as a technical advisor and mentor across the platform org, guiding design decisions and aligning cross-team efforts with long-term architectural goals.
Go deep in one or more problem areas (e.g., high-cardinality telemetry, distributed tracing correlation, compute cost insights), while ensuring the platform scales horizontally.
Collaborate with product teams, SREs, and developer experience groups to deeply understand telemetry needs and integrate observability into core engineering workflows.
Design and build developer-friendly tooling and APIs to support incident response, performance analysis, and platform debugging at scale.
Leverage (and optionally contribute to) open-source standards like OpenTelemetry to ensure interoperability and extensibility.
Champion a pragmatic approach to observability—balancing performance, cost, and user value across diverse engineering teams.
Qualifications
Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!
*Required:
Proven expertise in building and scaling observability systems (e.g., logging platforms, metrics pipelines, tracing infrastructure, or profiling tools).
Lead technical execution for major components of Twilio’s observability overhaul, including our shift to centralized S3-based data lakes, OpenTelemetry instrumentation, and ClickHouse-backed query engines.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java).
Familiarity with high-cardinality data challenges and telemetry correlation techniques.
Experience designing high-scale telemetry systems (e.g., Prometheus, ClickHouse, OpenTelemetry, Kafka, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of distributed systems and the challenges of observability in complex, microservice-based environments.
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Provide architectural guidance and thought leadership across teams, helping to establish clear telemetry standards, efficient usage patterns, and scalable platform abstractions.
Ability to make forward-looking technical decisions and lead others through ambiguity and chan

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sierra is growing fast, and product marketing sits at the center of how we go to market. You'll make sure customers and prospects understand what we build, why it matters to their industry and role, and why Sierra is the right choice. You'll own positioning, messaging, launches, sales enablement, and content, working closely with product, sales, agent development and the rest of marketing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Shape how we tell our story. You’re a passionate product marketer, energized by messaging and positioning and skilled at building a message for a feature, product, industry or buyer. One day you may update web copy, the next you build an event session, craft a sales narrative, write a launch blog post, or create content for a campaign.
- Lead product launches. When a product or new feature ships, you lead how we go to market - the messaging, the assets, and the sales enablement. Sometimes this means translating to industries or buyers.
- Arm our sales team. You build and maintain the playbooks and assets our GTM teams use to sell including slide decks, landing pages, demos and more.
- Build with AI-first. You’re AI fluent, and your first instinct is to self-serve and improve how you work. You’ll help build the automations, templates, and systems that keep our work consistent across industries and workstreams.
- Go wide and deep. You flex across channels and activations, and you can go deep on one area, such as an industry vertical, a persona, or our web strategy. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and a fast pace, and you like to build.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 4+ years of B2B or B2C product marketing experience.
- Expertise in positioning and messaging, leading product or feature launches, and building sales-facing and customer-facing assets for different audiences and industries.
- Strong operational instincts. You think in process, systems, and repeatable frameworks, and you’re comfortable building structure where none exists.
- Fluency with tools like ChatGPT or Claude to work faster and automate where it makes sense.
- A passion for storytelling and experience building presentations in Google Slides.
- Comfort being on a lean team that’s still being defined, and enthusiasm for shaping how it works.
SAMPLE PROJECTS
- Take a new product from roadmap to launch: positioning, messaging, sales assets, enablement, and demo.
- Go deep on an industry and understand how our product can help that segment, build messaging that resonates, and downstream assets.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
