We're looking for a Director of Product Management to own our security product strategy end to end - the vision, the roadmap, build vs buy decisions. You will set the multi-year investment strategy for our security offerings, go deep with engineering on database security, networking, and identity management. You will be the subject matter expert for other PMs navigating security-adjacent decisions..
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for our security offerings, and make the case for it - internally with engineering and leadership, and externally with customers and the market.
- Go deep on database security, networking, and identity and access management (IAM) - enough to argue the details with engineering, not just approve what they propose.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ship products that are actually secure, not just marketed that way.
- Translate complex security requirements into specifications and user stories that engineering can understand.
- Own backlog prioritization and the trade-offs that come with it, weighing business value, customer risk, and engineering cost.
- Drive go-to-market for security launches - positioning, sales enablement, documentation.
- Monitor how security features perform in the real world and use that data, not just instinct, to decide what to build next.
- Be the security subject-matter expert other teams come to, and provide guidance and coaching to PMs working on security-adjacent problems elsewhere in the org.
- Represent our security posture and roadmap externally - with top customers, prospects, and analysts when the conversation needs someone who actually understands the tradeoffs.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a significant and sustained focus on security products or features, including experience setting security strategy at an organizational level.
- Real, hands-on experience with database security principles and best practices.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and their security implications.
- In-depth knowledge of identity and access management (IAM).
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) preferred.
- Solid program management skills: planning, execution, and risk management across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- A track record of representing product externally - with customers, analysts, or at industry events, and translating deep technical security topics for non-technical audiences.
- Experience guiding or informally mentoring other PMs, even without a formal reporting relationship.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, and the judgment to know when to escalate versus when to just make the call.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities shift and you're expected to bring order to it, not just follow along.

GTM CONTENT/COPYWRITER
WHY WORK AT HIGGSFIELD AI?
Higgsfield AI is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $1B in annualized revenue, 32M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands.
We're building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn't just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Copywriter to own the written voice of Higgsfield across B2B and brand channels.
You'll write everything from sales decks and landing pages to LinkedIn posts, launch campaigns, and ad creative, turning product capabilities into sharp, persuasive messaging for enterprise buyers, agencies, and creators. This is a hands-on role for someone who writes exceptionally well, moves fast, and can take a rough brief to publish-ready copy in hours, not weeks.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
FUEL LIVE DEALS
- Write copy for sales decks, one-pagers, and vertical pitch materials that enterprise and partnerships teams use in live deals.
- Prepare copy for events, partner presentations, and program materials (such as certification and partner programs).
OWN WEB AND LAUNCH COPY
- Own landing page, case study, and website copy, from headlines and value props to CTAs, working with designers and web to ship.
- Build messaging for product launches (features, API, enterprise plans) and adapt it across web, social, email, and paid.
WRITE THE PUBLIC VOICE
- Ghostwrite and edit LinkedIn content for the company and leadership: thought leadership, launch posts, and recaps in each author's voice.
- Write ad and social creative copy, plus clear briefs for designers and video creators.
BUILD THE MESSAGING SYSTEM
- Develop and maintain positioning, messaging frameworks, and a brand voice guide, including audience variants for enterprise, agencies, and creators.
- Test messaging, read performance data, and iterate on what converts.
YOUR MUST HAVES
- 3+ years of copywriting experience, ideally B2B SaaS, tech, or a creative or marketing agency.
- Exceptional written English: concise, confident, and persuasive, with a strong command of business communication.
- A portfolio that shows range: sales or enterprise materials, web copy, and social or thought leadership content.
- Ability to understand a technical product (AI video and image generation) and explain it in terms of business outcomes.
- Comfort switching voices: enterprise buyer, creative professional, founder or executive.
- Fast execution: you take feedback well, iterate quickly, and don't wait for perfect.
- Strong self-editing and attention to detail. Nothing goes out with a typo or a vague claim.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience in AI, generative media, or creative tools.
- Russian language skills.
- Experience with localization or writing for international markets (e.g., Japan, MENA, Central Asia).
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Figma, or Notion.
- Understanding of performance marketing and conversion copywriting.
THE DEAL
- Competitive salary in USD.
- On-site role in our Almaty office.
- Relocation to Almaty from anywhere: we sponsor and process your work permit, cover your flights, and provide temporary housing while you settle in.
- Full-time position.
Our Client Advisors turn inbound interest from small- and medium-sized businesses into Toptal clients. You will be the first conversation a prospective client has with Toptal. You will respond to immediate-assistance requests within five minutes, quickly understand the business problem behind the request, connect necessary Toptal specialists, and help guide the client forward through the sales process. You will need to do a great deal in a short conversation: establish trust, diagnose the need, recognize relevant opportunities, explain Toptal’s value proposition, address concerns, and convert the business to sale. This is a high energy, consultative sales role at inbound velocity where excellence will mean running a high volume of first conversations, asking better questions than the client expected, and constantly building momentum along the right Toptal offering path. You will need to bring clarity and articulate value across Toptal’s full portfolio: specialized talent, global hiring and payroll through HireGlobal, and our AI-driven, platform-powered, outcome-focused services offerings. Your ownership continues after the first call. You will represent the client through technical stages, keep them engaged between conversations, and resolve issues that slow a decision. You will manage those active opportunities alongside new incoming inquiries, knowing when to bring in specialists for deeper expertise.
Responsibilities:
— Run high energy, open-ended discovery on every inbound conversation, quickly establish rapport, understand what prompted the client to reach out, and uncover the business objective behind the stated request.
— Build the necessary sales momentum to keep clients engaged, earning the right to recommend before you recommend.
— Quickly identify what is driving the need, whether there is a real opportunity, identify the metrics that matter most to the client, and who is involved in the decision.
— Explain why the relevant Toptal offering fits, address the client’s concerns, and ask for commitment.
— Manage deal cycles from discovery through close and maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in CRM.
— Give necessary specialists a clear account of the client’s needs and prepare them for subsequent conversations.
— Stay close as technical questions are resolved and keep the client engaged through the next decision.
— Maintain clear next steps, timing, and blockers for each active opportunity while responding to new inbound requests.
— Understand the client’s broader growth plans including global hiring, EOR and payroll needs, marketing and sales growth, financial, and technology challenges.
— Position Toptal as a strategic partner rather than a single-transaction vendor.
— Execute a client-centric approach across every interaction during pre-defined working hours, run rapid research on clients before outreach, ask focused questions to fill the gaps, and stay current on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
— Work with team and cross-functional partners including matching, delivery, HireGlobal, and Toptal’s service offerings experts to respond promptly to high-volume inbound inquiries and bring the right expertise into a deal at the right moment.
— Communicate clearly over Zoom and Slack.
— Review own calls, seek and act on feedback, and contribute learnings back to the team.
Onboarding and development expectations include learning Toptal’s model, sales training, mock calls, running inbound conversations independently, managing leads and opportunities, meeting sales and quality targets, mentoring new team members, and contributing to team efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
— 2–3 years of B2B sales experience (Account Executive, Inside Sales, Sales Development, Account Representative, or related role).
— Demonstrated experience converting inbound opportunities into paying customers at scale, owning the sale from first call to close.
— Experience coordinating parallel sales opportunities and maintaining sales momentum while other teams complete necessary work.
— Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
— Full availability during working hours to take client calls.
— Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company managing a high volume of clients alongside competing deadlines.
— Exceptional time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
— Software, tech, or professional-services sales experience.
— Exposure to named sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, Sandler, or similar.
— Experience selling more than one product or service line into the same account.
— Familiarity with global hiring, EOR, or payroll concepts.
— Fluency with modern sales tooling including AI-assisted research, call review, and CRM workflows.
Core Competencies:
— Consultative discovery with open-ended questions and diagnosis before prescription.
— Qualification discipline to distinguish interest from intent.
— Business acumen to hold credible conversations about growth, hiring, cost, and risk.
— Point of view to bring insight and respectfully reframe client thinking.
— Client-centricity to uncover and resolve client issues through value-based selling and directness about fit.
— Will to win, naturally competitive and aiming to exceed quota.
— Learn-it-all mindset seeking feedback and sharing learnings.
— Ownership as a self-directed individual contributor accountable for pipeline and results while collaborating effectively.
This is a remote position. Visa sponsorship or assistance is not offered. Resumes and communication must be submitted in English.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Recruiting Coordinator to own how our Almaty recruiting team runs day to day.
Our Almaty recruiting team hires across Engineering, ML & Research, Product, Growth, Creative, GTM, Finance, and Operations, at a pace few companies have ever had to match. This role makes sure that pace doesn't turn into chaos.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Process & Standarts
- Define and roll out one consistent way of working across the team: intake, pipeline stages, scorecards, interview loops, offer approvals, and handoff to onboarding.
- Make sure every open role has a clear recruiter owner, a named final decision-maker, and an agreed interview panel.
- Keep the Hiring Matrix, recruiting playbooks, and Ashby guides current so recruiters and hiring managers can self-serve.
- Catch overlapping roles and duplicated outreach before the same candidate is contacted twice.
Ashby & Recruiting Data
- Own Ashby as the single source of truth. That means no side spreadsheets and no pipelines living in messengers.
- Run weekly pipeline hygiene checks for stale candidates, missing scorecards, untracked sources, and applications that were never closed.
- Make sure every source is tagged and measurable, including referrals, events, university partnerships, paid channels, and agencies.
- Partner with recruiting automation owners on stage automations, integrations, and dashboards.
Reporting & Insights
- Own recruiting reporting to leadership: pipeline by role, where candidates are stuck, offers out, and which decisions are needed.
- Replace manual status reports with live dashboards built on Ashby data.
- Track funnel conversion, time-to-hire, channel performance, and recruiter load, and turn them into clear recommendations.
- Run the weekly recruiting sync and make sure decisions and action items are captured and followed through.
- Onboard new recruiters and coordinators into tools, process, and team standards.
- Manage recruiting tools and licenses (Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools) so every seat is actually used.
- Escalate blockers early, such as salary band approvals, onboarding capacity, and stalled final rounds.
YOUR MUST HAVES
- 5+ years in recruiting, recruiting operations, or talent program management, including at least 2 years owning process or operations for a team of recruiters.
- Hands-on Ashby experience, or deep expertise in a comparable ATS plus the ability to become an Ashby power user quickly.
- Experience building recruiting reports and dashboards that leadership actually used to make decisions.
- Experience in a high-growth company hiring at volume across multiple functions.
- Ability to hold recruiters and hiring managers accountable without direct authority over all of them.
- Highly structured, exceptionally organized, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal English and Russian.
THE DEAL
- Competitive salary in USD.
- On-site role in Almaty office.
- Full-time position.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
How we build software is changing. Designers are building tools and agents, prototyping in code, and shipping directly into the product. More people can create software than ever before. That makes design judgment more important, not less.
We’re looking for a Design Systems Lead to build that judgment into the foundations of Ramp.
This is not just about maintaining a component library. It’s about making it possible for designers, engineers, and agents to build experiences that look, feel, and work like Ramp—without a designer driving every decision or the design systems team reviewing every change.
You’re a designer first, with the technical depth to guide architecture and get into the code. You have exceptional taste and strong opinions about typography, hierarchy, interaction, and motion. Just as importantly, you know how to turn that judgment into patterns, tools, and guidance that make everyone else’s work better.
You’re deeply curious about AI and already using it to change how you work. You build, experiment, inspect the results, and push past the demo. You can imagine a different way of building software—and lead a team toward it.
This role is for you if you’re excited by:
- Making great design reproducible. Raise the quality of Ramp’s product and encode what makes it good, so people and agents can produce coherent, usable experiences by default. The system should make excellent work easier, not make every experience look the same.
- Reimagining what a design system can be. Build beyond components and tokens into composition, interaction patterns, agent guidance, and evaluations. Connect exploration and production so the fastest way to build is also a path to great quality.
- Leading a team that multiplies everyone else’s impact. Create clear direction, ambitious goals, and a caring yet demanding environment. Inspire curiosity, develop people, and stay close enough to the work to help make it exceptional.
The opportunity is to raise the floor for everyone building at Ramp, while giving designers more room to make the most important experiences extraordinary.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and develop the design systems team. Set clear priorities, ownership, and goals. Give direct, timely feedback, hold people accountable, and help them do the best work of their careers.
- Own the system’s vision and direction. Decide what to preserve, evolve, simplify, or replace based on what builders and customers need. Turn that direction into focused work the team can deliver.
- Elevate Ramp’s visual and interaction design. Raise the bar for typography, hierarchy, density, motion, responsive behavior, accessibility, and the states beyond the happy path.
- Make design judgment usable by people and agents. Translate principles into reusable patterns, reference experiences, composition rules, and guidance that produce better work without you in the room.
- Guide technical architecture with engineering. Shape everything from components and tokens to how agents discover guidance, compose interfaces, and check their work. Make sound tradeoffs between flexibility, coherence, performance, and ease of use.
- Stay hands-on. Build prototypes, work in code, and get into implementation details to test ideas, unblock the team, and understand where the system breaks down.
- Define and measure quality. Build repeatable evaluations grounded in real tasks. Measure whether builders can ship better work faster, with less rework—not just whether they use the tools.
- Improve the path from idea to shipped experience. Partner with engineering and AI teams on workflows that support fast exploration, useful iteration, and appropriate production safeguards.
- Earn adoption. Work alongside product teams, listen closely, teach through examples, and turn recurring questions and exceptions into improvements to the system.
- Keep the team moving forward. Experiment as models and tools evolve, share what you learn, and change direction when the evidence calls for it.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Experience leading and developing strong design or design engineering teams, with a track record of setting direction and delivering meaningful outcomes.
- Exceptional visual and interaction design skills. Your work shows a clear point of view, attention to detail, and an ability to make complex experiences feel simple.
- Deep systems thinking and experience building systems that other teams actually adopt. You can show how your work improved both their speed and the quality of what shipped.
- Strong technical fluency. You can prototype and build in code, understand front-end architecture, and work through implementation tradeoffs with engineers—not just hand off specifications.
- Active, hands-on use of AI in your design and building workflow. You understand where it helps, where it fails, and how to improve its output rather than accept it.
- Experience turning design principles into practical guidance, reusable patterns, and quality checks that work at scale.
- Strong product judgment and a habit of staying close to the people using what you build. You connect system decisions to real workflows and customer outcomes.
- The ability to create clarity in ambiguity, make decisions, give difficult feedback, and maintain momentum without losing the quality bar.
- Curiosity that borders on obsession about how AI changes software and how we build it—and the ability to ignite that curiosity in others.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience building agent-usable design guidance, generation workflows, or evaluations for design quality.
- Experience building developer or designer tools that became part of other teams’ daily workflow.
- Experience leading a major design-system migration or company-wide change in how teams build.
- Experience evolving a system across platforms or connecting product and brand experiences.
- Founder or early-stage startup experience.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As a member of the International Policy Applied AI team at Anthropic, you will be a trusted technical advisor to governments, AI Safety Institutes (AISIs), and multilateral institutions. You'll use your technical skills and your experience with government partners to help them understand frontier AI, test it, and apply it to their public missions with a high degree of reliability and safety. Lead technical onboarding, enablement, and hands-on workshops for partner institutions, including national cybersecurity agencies. Guide their setup, architecture, and integration as they build with Claude Code and the Claude API.
Act as the voice of our international partners and a key collaborator with our Product and Research teams to ensure we deliver the capabilities they need.
Travel internationally to partner institutions for senior leader meetings, technical enablement, and building relationships.
Establish a shared vision for creating solutions that enable beneficial and safe AI.
Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative solutions that leverage our latest models’ capabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complicated topics in easily understandable terms to a diverse set of external and internal stakeholders, from engineers to senior government officials
Passion for thinking creatively about how to use technology in a way that is safe and beneficial, and ultimately furthers the goal of advancing safe AI systems

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Sr. Developer Relations Manager
Backblaze — Remote, US
Compensation: $172,000–$215,000 base + equity
About Backblaze
Backblaze is the object storage layer for AI and data-intensive workloads, fueling customer success with cloud storage purpose-built for scalable performance and economics. We make customers unstoppable by solving their toughest storage challenges.
Today we manage nearly 6 billion gigabytes of data for 500K+ customers across 175+ countries with fast growth among Neoclouds, GenAI companies, and companies reliant on data–heavy workloads. Developers are at the center of our next chapter, and we're serious about earning their trust.
About the Role
Developer relations is evolving quickly. Coding agents, informed by reference architectures and machine-readable documentation, are increasingly making integration decisions on behalf of developers. And trust, transparency, and human interaction are more important than ever as open source ideals and corporate agendas are weirdly attacked, limited, or promoted by unexpected sources and trends.
Backblaze B2 Cloud storage was launched as a result of developer demand and has been committed to the developer ecosystem since day one. Today, we are seeking a leader who can help us become more present and trusted than ever before in this space, both as the storage default for agent-led projects and as a leading source of support, inspiration, and enablement for developers who need storage for whatever they’re building.
As Sr. Developer Relations Manager, you'll work across a strong set of existing assets — a mature docs team, an engineering team focused on AI ecosystem integrations, our Flamethrower Startup Program, a content org, and an outward-facing SE team — and coordinate their outputs into a coherent, credible developer presence that earns mindshare where it matters most.
This is a program-defining role for someone who thinks in systems, works backwards from adoption goals, knows how to make a company technically credible with developers who haven't heard of it yet, and is comfortable both channeling and being the face of developer relationships at Backblaze.
What You'll Own
Developer Presence in the Agentic Stack
The primary goal of this role is to ensure Backblaze B2 is the best storage layer for developers and for their agents. That means understanding how AI coders discover and evaluate infrastructure tools today: through MCP servers, coding agent contexts, reference architectures, SDKs, and machine-readable documentation. You'll work with the internal AI team to define what "agent-ready" means for Backblaze and drive execution against it across engineering, docs, and content.
Cross-Functional Coordination
This role starts as an individual contributor, but you'll have real influence over a strong set of resources: an engineering team building integrations into AI tooling (MLFlow, ComfyUI, Hugging Face, popular agent frameworks), a docs team that can be directed toward structured, agent-consumable formats, a content org that can amplify what you build, and an SE team that can extend your enablement work, among a number of others at the company. Your job is to coordinate these teams around a unified developer strategy, keep that strategy moving, and share its outputs with the broader world.
Community and Ecosystem
Developers trust other developers. You'll underscore Backblaze's credibility in the communities where AI builders live: GitHub, Discord, open source projects, developer events, and the growing ecosystem of AI infrastructure tooling. You'll elevate internal technical voices, use their expertise to build your own thought leadership in the space, and partner with ecosystem players, and show up in a way that is earned, not marketed. Critically, you should have a presence in this community before coming to the role.
Developer Feedback Loop
You'll maintain a tight feedback loop from the developer community back to product and engineering — surfacing adoption friction, unmet integration needs, and emerging patterns worth prioritizing. The Flamethrower Startup Program gives you direct access to early-stage builders who can serve as signal-rich canaries for what's working and what isn't.
Metrics and Program Accountability
You'll define what success looks like — developer signups, activation rates, B2 adoption in AI frameworks, community engagement, content reach — and own progress against it. We're building this program to drive real revenue, and you'll be expected to connect the dots between awareness and conversion. Success in this role opens the door to bringing on, or from elsewhere in the company, developer resources to grow the program.
What We're Looking For
Meaningful DevRel, developer marketing, or developer experience leadership at a cloud infrastructure, open source, or AI tooling company. You've built or significantly grown a developer program, not just contributed to one.
Understand how agentic workflows are reshaping how developers discover and integrate infrastructure tools — and you have opinions about what that means for DevRel strategy.
Technically credible. You can read a codebase, evaluate an SDK, write a working integration, and have a real conversation with an engineer about tradeoffs. You don't need to be a full-time SWE, but you need to have been one, or close to it.
Worked, or started, without a large team. You know how to amplify yourself through cross-functional relationships, external partners, and community rather than headcount.
Strong communicator — to developers externally and to leadership internally. You can write a crisp technical tutorial and a clear exec summary with equal ease.
Existing presence in developer communities. A following, conference talks, open source contributions, a technical blog — some signal that developers pay attention when you show up.
Strong plus:
Direct experience with model training, data processing or generative media
Familiarity with how coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) surface and recommend infrastructure tools
Experience working with or building on top of open source frameworks in the AI/ML ecosystem (MLflow, DVC, Ray Data, WebDataset, and MosaicML Streaming)
Prior experience running or contributing to a startup/developer program (accelerator, cohort model, or similar)
What You'll Have to Work With
You won't be starting from scratch. You'll work closely with:
A mature, capable
docs team
that can be directed toward agent-consumable documentation formats and structured reference content
A strong
engineering team
dedicated to integrating Backblaze into the AI tooling ecosystem — building connectors, working on external integrations, and driving internal product improvements for developer use cases
Flamethrower
, our startup program, which is already generating community energy and early-adopter signal among AI builders
An outward-facing
solutions engineering team
that can extend your enablement work with hands-on technical support
A
content org
that can help produce and amplify developer-facing assets
Active strategic work from
Rawkode Academy
laying the DevRel foundation: audit, persona validation, content models, and engagement strategy
Why This Matters Now
Developers are making storage decisions earlier in the stack than ever before — often before they've spoken to a salesperson, often through a coding agent recommending a reference architecture. Backblaze has the right product, the right price point, and a growing engineering investment behind this motion. What we need is the person who can translate that into developer conviction at scale.
The window to establish Backblaze as the default AI storage layer is open now. This role exists to make sure we don't miss it.
Backblaze Perks
Healthcare for family, including dental and vision
Competitive compensation and 401K
RSU grants for full-time employees
ESPP program
Flexible vacation policy
Maternity & paternity leave
MacBook Pro plus a generous workstation stipend
Childcare bonus
Fertility treatment and support
Learning & development program
Commuter benefits
Culture that supports a healthy work-life balance
Pay Transparency
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials.
The expected salary range for this role is $172,000 - $215,000 plus 20% target annual bonus and RSUs.
At Backblaze, we value being fair and good to our customers, partners, and employees. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the core of our values. We are committed to fostering a workforce where all employees feel a sense of belonging regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, socio-economic status, ability, veteran status, and education. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a hands-on Global Workplace Lead to own workplace experience across all Modal offices. You’ll manage our Workplace Experience team and set the tone for the day-to-day operations, programs, and physical environments that make each location thrive. You care as much about how a space feels as about how it functions, and bring the same taste and judgment to our offices that we bring to our product. You’ll develop a deep understanding of what each office actually needs, and build trusted relationships with local leads and cross-functional partners across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Manage and develop a team of workplace services professionals, setting direction, coaching performance, and building a high-functioning team
- Own operational quality across every office by tracking service levels and space utilization, spotting patterns, and fixing the underlying causes of recurring problems
- Stay ahead of what the business needs next by keeping a pulse on both local realities and company-wide priorities
- Build the global budget and vendor strategy for workplace experience, and hold contractors and service providers accountable to clear performance expectations
- Guide workplace experience through major transitions, including new office openings and relocations
- Shape how Modal’s brand and culture show up physically, bringing the same clarity, craft, and attention to detail to our spaces that we bring to our product
- Synthesize data, stakeholder input, and business context into recommendations for continuous improvement
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have 5+ years in workplace, facilities, or office operations, ideally at a high-growth tech company where you built programs rather than inherited them

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Software Engineer
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Engineering teams tackle complex technical challenges across a global, three-sided marketplace, building and scaling systems that serve millions of customers, riders and partners every day.
From real-time logistics to resilient infrastructure and marketplace optimisation, we design, build and operate technology that powers Deliveroo’s growth at scale.
In November 2023 we launched our non-food retail offering, Deliveroo ‘Shopping’, where we work with large and small merchants. We oversee all operations within the grocery and retail ecosystem, ensuring stores are equipped to receive and efficiently process orders. Our solutions empower stores to manage orders seamlessly through multiple channels, including our in-house app, API integration, and devices pre-installed with our software. Additionally, we provide tools to maintain and update product catalogs, ensuring accurate inventory for consumers. The technology we’ve developed enables our partners to pick the correct items swiftly while keeping inventory data current, optimizing both efficiency and accuracy.
We’re looking for a

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining a multi-disciplinary engineering team focused on technical execution and collaboration. As a Software Engineer at Deliveroo, your individual work contributes to achieving goals across your team, simplifying the maintenance of production systems while ensuring operational readiness and health.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Drive Technical Excellence:
Improve code structure and architecture across your team’s remit, developing, releasing and running large-scale web applications whilst transitioning our monolithic codebase to a microservice-based architecture
Lead Project Planning:
Foresee dependencies and risks, partnering closely with Product and Design to ensure smooth delivery of complex features, whilst defining the backend architecture and tech stack for a product area
Optimise Operations:
Improve performance, reliability, scalability and security for our backend systems
Collaborate & Influence:
Build relationships across global engineering teams to identify collaboration opportunities and influence the wider technical roadmap.
Mentor & Hire:
Support the personal growth of your colleagues through technical guidance and take an active role in conducting engineering interviews to scale our team.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
Proficiency in using AI coding tools
(e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, generating code, testing, monitoring and releasing software
Strong Engineering Principles:
Deep pride in writing readable, well-designed, and well-tested software.
Backend Expertise:
Significant experience building web-based applications (we use Go, Ruby/Rails, Python, Scala, and Rust).
Data Proficiency:
Practical experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and "NoSQL" backends like Redis, DynamoDB, or ElasticSearch.
Systems at Scale:
Proven ability to manage web architecture at scale (handling 20krpm and above).
Technical Leadership:
Experience breaking down large pieces of work and guiding implementation choices for a team of engineers.
