Who You Are:
The Project Management Office (PMO) Project Manager (Growth, Development, Power) is the PMO's embedded project management partner to the Growth, Development, and Power functions, providing the cross-functional coordination and execution structure required to move sites and related initiatives through the broader organization. Growth, Development, and Power sits at the intersection of numerous internal and external stakeholders.
Progress may depend on Pre-Construction, Construction, Operations, Technology, Finance, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Community Relations, Government Relations, consultants, and external agencies. While Growth, Development, and Power leadership and subject matter experts retain ownership of technical and development decisions, the PM ensures that the work surrounding those decisions is coordinated across the business.
The role creates visibility into what needs to happen, by whom, and when; identifies downstream impacts and dependencies early; and ensures other departments are engaged before gaps become schedule, resource, or business risks. This allows Growth, Development, and Power leaders to focus on development strategy and technical execution while the PM ensures that cross-functional commitments, dependencies, decisions, and business processes remain aligned and moving forward.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with Growth, Development, and Power leadership to understand the development pipeline, departmental priorities, upcoming milestones, constraints, and cross-functional requirements.
Break complex initiatives into clear workstreams, milestones, tasks, dependencies, owners, and decision points.
Maintain portfolio-level visibility into Growth, Development, and Power activities and ensure key initiatives are accurately represented in the PMO project management systems.
Identify and manage dependencies between Site Development and Pre-Construction, Construction, Operations, Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Community Relations, Government Relations, and other stakeholders.
Engage impacted departments early when Growth, Development, and Power activities have downstream implications for scope, timing, resources, cost, or execution.
Establish and facilitate cross-functional meetings needed to resolve dependencies, align plans, make decisions, and maintain progress.
Track commitments and action items across departments and ensure accountability for agreed deliverables.
Identify emerging risks, constraints, stalled activities, resource conflicts, or unclear ownership and facilitate resolution.
Escalate issues to Growth, Development, and Power leadership, the Head of PMO, or broader business leadership when appropriate.
Support prioritization and sequencing across sites and initiatives by maintaining visibility into dependencies, capacity, timing, and competing demands.
Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and other support functions to ensure required business processes are understood, planned for, and initiated at the appropriate stage.
Support Growth, Development, and Power leadership with capacity and resourcing discussions by providing visibility into the volume and complexity of current and upcoming work.
Improve communication and handoffs between Growth, Development and downstream teams, particularly Pre-Construction and EHS.
Provide leadership with clear reporting on progress, upcoming milestones, dependencies, risks, resource constraints, and decisions required.
Act as an impartial facilitator when cross-department priorities or expectations are misaligned.
Partner with the Head of PMO and other embedded PMO PMs to consistently apply PMO standards, tools, processes, and reporting practices.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in project or program management in the data center, power infrastructure, industrial development, or related industries.
Working knowledge of site development processes sufficient to understand key milestones, dependencies, terminology, and downstream impacts.
Basic knowledge of real estate contracts, with a general understanding of common gating items in the closing process.
Proficient in leveraging AI tools to manage, streamline, and enhance project workstreams.
Demonstrated experience coordinating initiatives across multiple technical and business functions.
Strong ability to translate complex or loosely defined initiatives into structured, trackable execution plans.
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, particularly in environments where accountability spans multiple departments.
Ability to identify dependencies, organizational gaps, and risks and proactively bring the appropriate stakeholders together to resolve them.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
Experience with project/work management and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide concise reporting to department and business leadership.
PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Who You Are
You're a seasoned project controls professional with 7+ years managing schedule, cost, change, and documentation on large-scale, mission-critical construction programs — ideally in data centers, schedule-driven sector where downtime isn't an option. You read a P6 schedule critically — spotting broken logic, float that's been quietly manipulated, and a critical path that's about to move before it shows up in next week's update. You can pick apart a change order line by line and know a GMP well enough to catch a buyout gap before it becomes a claim.
You're equally comfortable pushing back on a general contractor in a weekly OAC meeting and briefing an executive on cost and schedule risk in five minutes flat. You don't wait to be asked for bad news — you surface it early, with the data to back it up. You build trust with GCs, design consultants, finance, and leadership not by being agreeable, but by being fair, prepared, and unwilling to accept a story that doesn't add up.
You think in systems — cost, schedule, risk, and change aren't separate disciplines to you, they're one integrated view of program health — and you're comfortable operating in an environment where the schedule compresses, the scope shifts, and the stakes don't.
What You'll Do
Manage the third-party scheduling consultants who review, analyze, and maintain the master schedule, setting expectations for quality, cadence, and reporting
Work directly with general contractors to review and validate their schedules — testing logic, durations, critical path, float, and sequencing against owner milestones
Own schedule health reporting to leadership, giving a clear, honest picture of progress, risk, and forecast, and escalating issues before they become delays
Own the change order process end-to-end: intake, review, verification, negotiation, and resolution
Critically evaluate change orders for scope, pricing, and schedule impact — verifying quantities, labor, markups, and backup rather than taking submissions at face value
Negotiate change orders directly with the general contractor to protect Galaxy's cost and schedule position
Represent Galaxy in weekly change and progress meetings with the GC, driving accountability and timely closure of open items
Maintain a complete, auditable change order log reconciled against the project budget and GMP
Serve as the bridge between field/GC reality and Finance's cost picture, ensuring both tell the same story
Own documentation control for active projects — RFIs, submittals, change documentation, meeting records, and contractual correspondence
Establish and improve project controls standards, templates, reporting, and governance across the portfolio
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of project controls or construction management experience on large-scale, complex programs; mission-critical or data center experience required
Proven experience managing schedule on the owner's side, including oversight of scheduling consultants and review of GC-maintained schedules
Deep, hands-on command of CPM scheduling and Primavera P6 — enough to interrogate a schedule, not just read one
Demonstrated experience owning the change order process, including verification and direct negotiation with general contractors
Strong working knowledge of construction contracts and GMP structures (AIA A133/A201 or similar)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to hold GCs accountable and brief executives with equal credibility
Ability to manage controls across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What You Bring
An owner's mindset — you protect the schedule, the GMP, and the record as if the capital were your own, and you hold contractors and consultants to that same standard.
The credibility to sit across from a general contractor and negotiate change with confidence, and the judgment to know which battles matter.
A sharp, detail-driven eye that catches the number that doesn't hold up, the logic that doesn't sequence, and the risk before it becomes a delay.
The versatility to move fluidly between the field, the GC, Finance, and the executive table, tailoring the message to each without losing the thread.
A bias for order and structure — you bring discipline to controls, documentation, and reporting in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Willingness to travel up to 20% to Data Center sites as the work requires.
What We Offer:
Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
Flexible Time Off (i.e. unlimited paid vacation days)
