ABOUT THE MANAGED POSTGRES TEAM
The Managed Postgres team is building a high-performance, reliable PostgreSQL service within ClickHouse Cloud. We give developers a familiar PostgreSQL experience, remove operational burden, and connect transactional Postgres workloads with real-time analytics in ClickHouse. The team owns provisioning, high availability, backup and recovery, upgrades, observability, performance, security, and developer experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the team building and operating ClickHouse Managed Postgres. You will combine people leadership, technical direction, product thinking, and operational ownership while maintaining the reliability customers expect.
You will report directly to Kaushik Iska, who leads the Managed Postgres organization. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Infrastructure, Security, Support, and engineering teams across ClickHouse.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team through clear expectations, feedback, development, and direct performance management.
- Own outcomes across provisioning, fleet management, failover, point-in-time recovery, upgrades, observability, performance, and security.
- Turn customer and business needs into a multi-quarter roadmap with incremental milestones.
- Guide architecture and help senior engineers make explicit, sound tradeoffs.
- Raise operational quality across SLOs, on-call, incidents, maintenance, and automation.
- Work directly with customers and turn recurring pain into product improvements.
- Align dependencies, surface risks early, and keep execution predictable across a distributed organization.
- Hire the right mix of PostgreSQL, systems, infrastructure, reliability, and product engineering talent while fostering ownership and clear technical debate.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years managing engineers in infrastructure, databases, or developer platforms.
- Experience building and operating a customer-facing stateful service with demanding availability, durability, security, and performance requirements.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or managed relational databases, including replication, WAL, high availability, recovery, upgrades, observability, or performance diagnosis.
- Technical credibility to engage deeply in architecture and incidents without owning daily implementation.
- A record of hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining engineers, including senior ICs.
- Strong execution judgment across ambiguity, parallel workstreams, risk, and long-term system health.
- A customer mindset, strong Product partnership, clear communication, and distributed-team leadership.
NICE TO HAVE
- Managed PostgreSQL, relational database, or cloud control-plane leadership
- PostgreSQL internals, extensions, replication, storage, performance, or database reliability depth
- AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, or multi-region experience
- Experience taking infrastructure from early adoption through general availability
- Open-source, technical writing, speaking, startup, or founder experience
WHY THIS ROLE
- Shape a strategic product at the intersection of PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
- Lead a technical team where correctness, performance, reliability, and developer experience all matter.
- Influence the product, roadmap, operating model, and customer outcomes.
PERKS
- Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
- Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.
- Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options.
- Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries.
- A USD$500 Home office setup if you’re a remote employee.
- Global Gatherings – We believe in the power of in-person connection and offer opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites.
CULTURE - WE ALL SHAPE IT
As part of a rapidly scaling start-up, you will be instrumental in shaping our culture.

Platform owns the
foundation
the company runs on: compute and deployment, reliability and on-call, CI/CD and monorepo health, developer environments, the infrastructure that model training and inference run on, and the security boundaries around all of it.
AI and agent tooling is the clearest example. You will contribute to how models are trained and served here, as well as how agents work inside our codebase: the environments they run in, the verification that makes their output trustworthy, and the review paths that keep it all legible. There is no industry standard and you’ll help form our opinions rather than inheriting one.
Our users are other engineers. Expect to spend time with all the other engineering teams, understanding their needs and building a roadmap. The scope is large, so you'll be choosing what to leave alone as much as build.
Architecture decisions here last: this is a small team covering a large surface. You'll have real room to decide things, and you'll stay close to the systems you decide about.
What you'll own
Own our platform:
GCP, Kubernetes, Temporal, the GPU fleet behind cloud export, and the deploy and rollback machinery everything ships through. You'll be in the on-call rotation, and we'll expect you to make it quieter and more actionable.
The AI enablement substrate:
GPU capacity, training and inference pipelines, and the reliability and cost of the systems serving models in production.
Cost is an engineering constraint:
infrastructure decisions have a number attached and you're expected to make smart trade-offs. As inference grows with usage, the metering and attribution behind those numbers sit with this team.
Security comes with the systems you run
: identity and access, secrets management, least-privilege boundaries, and supply-chain integrity.
Make what you build legible.
Infrastructure-as-code that explains itself. Runbooks and in-repo context written for someone jumping in to help. Observability that tells you what failed and why.
Improve how the team learns and ships.
Form hypotheses, instrument your work, release incrementally, and read results honestly. Strengthen the tooling, standards, tests, observability, and release practices that help the team move quickly without compromising quality.
Raise the team’s technical ambition.
Provide architectural direction, thoughtful reviews, mentoring, and clear human writing.
What you bring
Required:
You have 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems, or equivalent server-side engineering with a heavy infrastructure focus.
You effectively leverage agents to multiply your impact and think critically about how and when to harness AI in your work.
You've run systems where failure was expensive, and your opinions about reliability and deployment come from consequences rather than reading.
You've carried a pager, commanded an incident, and rolled back before you understood why.
You use SLOs and error budgets as operating tools.
You’ve used a major cloud provider and Kubernetes in production, with infrastructure-as-code as your default.
You've owned an architecture or migration, from planning through launch, whose consequences outlived the project, and you can say what you'd do differently.
You've found important unowned work, scoped it, earned buy-in, and delivered it without being handed a spec.
You build a minimal repro, read the logs, and write targeted checks to prove a fix works instead of trusting output.
Experience that helps:
GPU and ML infrastructure:
capacity planning, training or inference pipelines, serving cost and latency. If you haven't run a GPU fleet, experience with expensive capacity-constrained systems transfers well.
Production security engineering:
IAM, secrets, supply chain, least privilege. You don't need to have held a security title, but you should have owned these boundaries for systems you ran.
Cloud cost modeling:
commitment strategy, reservations, unit economics.
CI/CD:
at monorepo scale, and developer-environment work.
Intricacies of Video:
Media, video, or GPU-backed workloads.
Small teams owning a large surface:
whether at a Series B to D company or on an internal platform team.

Product engineering at Descript means owning outcomes, not just tickets — you'll take a problem from a rough idea to a shipped, measured result, working closely with product, design, and the rest of engineering along the way. We organize around a few teams, each responsible for a distinct part of the product:
Editor:
owns our video editor. Help make traditionally complex video-editing workflows simpler, craft cutting-edge AI into practical creative tools, and build on our vision of turning a text-editor for video into a tool that puts video in everyone's communication toolkit.
Growth & Monetization:
owns onboarding and activation, growth loops and in-product experiments, plans and pricing, checkout, billing, and AI credits. Help turn visitors into customers and customers into revenue.
Media:
owns upload, transcription, diarization, alignment, drive-wide search, playback, rendering, and export (including the engine we're rewriting in Rust 🦀). Help make media fast to bring in, easy to find, instant to play, and reliable to export.
Agent:
owns Underlord, Descript’s AI co-editor. Build the representations, tools, harness, evals, and feedback loops that let it reason about video projects, make edits, and check its work. Help people and agents collaborate naturally, whether in the editor or through our API and MCP.
Identity & Access (aka TACO):
owns login, authentication and authorization, account settings, and project organization, plus the enterprise layer of workspaces, SSO/SCIM, governance, and audit logs. Help individuals become teams, and teams scale into enterprises, with the trust and security to go all in.
Regardless of your team you’ll have the opportunity to design thoughtful full-stack systems that work reliably and deliver value to new and existing users.
What You’ll Do
Own meaningful product surfaces end to end.
Take problems from definition through design, implementation, launch, measurement, and maintenance. Improve core Editor workflows, shape the self-serve journey from signup through renewal, or help make Underlord more sentient.
Shape the product, not just the implementation.
Partner with Product and Design to propose better interactions, expose constraints, choose the right metrics, and find simpler paths to user outcomes.
Build ambitious full-stack systems with care.
Create responsive, reliable experiences. Stretch from TypeScript and React to NodeJS and Temporal to first and third party integrations to get the job done.
Required:
You have 5+ years of experience building and shipping customer-facing products, including end-to-end features that measurably improved user or business outcomes.
You effectively leverage agents to multiply your impact and think critically about how to better harness AI in your work.
You’ve owned features/experiments end to end, from planning through launch, and leveraged analytics and metrics to evaluate impact.
You orient quickly in unfamiliar systems by exploring and asking thoughtful questions to both your teammates and agents.
You care about how software feels and notice when the technically correct result is still wrong for the user.
You create clarity in ambiguous work and can navigate (and simplify!) significant product and technical complexity.
You validate your work rigorously through focused reproductions, logs, tests, and other evidence rather than trusting that the output looks right.
Experience that helps:
Similar Products:
Work on an editor, media product, creative tool, or payment system (like Stripe).
Our Stack:
TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React, Redux, Node.js, API design, Temporal Workflows, and SQL. But we obviously live in a post stack world. We just rewrote our media engine in Rust. None of us knows Rust.
Crafting with AI:
Building an agent or experimenting with media-generation models.
Experimentation/Analytics Experience:
We like people who know how to measure their success through experimentation and product analytics.
Intricacies of Video:
Shaders, graphics rendering, audio/visual effects, and media formats.

- The Role
As an Enterprise Solutions Architect at ClickHouse, you'll own the technical side of the sales cycle for enterprise accounts across Greater China. You'll engage with data platform engineers, architects, SRE, and the VP who owns the standard — and your job is to design something that satisfies all of them and then prove it at production scale.
This is a role for engineers who want the hard version of the problem: real scale, real constraints, and an incumbent to displace. Prior pre-sales experience helps but isn't required — technical depth is non-negotiable.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the technical evaluation for enterprise accounts across Greater China — from discovery through POC or competitive bake-off, architecture sign-off, security review, and first production workload.
- Engage across a wider set of stakeholders than a single team: data platform engineers, architects, SRE, security, and the executive who owns the standard. Design solutions that hold up with all of them in the room.
- Design for production scale — sizing, sharding and replication strategy, ingestion topology, tiered storage, cost modeling, and what happens when something fails at 3am.
- Win competitive displacements against Elasticsearch, Splunk, Snowflake, BigQuery, Druid, Pinot, and homegrown systems, using benchmarks the customer's own team can reproduce.
- Own the migration plan — sequencing, dual-run, validation, and cutover — so the customer's team can see exactly how they get to production.
- Clear the security and procurement path: questionnaires, compliance artifacts, network and identity architecture, data residency requirements, and BYOC or private deployment requirements.
- Partner closely with Enterprise AEs to progress and close opportunities — you own the technical win, they own the commercial close. Build the TCO case against the incumbent/competition together.
- Advocate for customer needs internally with Product and Engineering — you're the voice of the technical buyer inside ClickHouse.
- Contribute reference architectures, benchmark harnesses, migration guides, and objection handling material that help the team scale what's working.
What You Bring
- Professional fluency in Mandarin and English, written and verbal. You can run a deep technical workshop in Mandarin and represent the same architecture to a global internal audience in English.
- Deep technical foundation in data infrastructure — built through experience as a data engineer, platform engineer, software engineer, DBA, or solutions architect.
- Production experience with analytical databases (ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Druid, Pinot, Vertica) and with operating them, not just querying them.
- Distributed systems judgment: partitioning, replication, consistency trade-offs, query execution, and a felt sense for where things break under load.
- Fluency across the modern data stack — Kafka and CDC pipelines, orchestration, object storage, BI tools, and at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud) at architecture level.
- Experience running a technical evaluation against a named competitor and winning it, including designing the migration off the incumbent and the parts of it that are genuinely hard.
- Customer-facing experience with real stakes — pre-sales, consulting, technical account management, or a staff-level engineering role that put you in front of customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can whiteboard with a staff engineer in the morning and present to a VP of Engineering in the afternoon.
- Comfort with longer cycles and more stakeholders. Enterprise evaluations don't close in three weeks, and you know how to keep one moving without letting it stall.
- Willingness to say ClickHouse isn't the right tool for a given workload when that's true.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience selling or supporting technical sales into the Greater China market
- Familiarity with the local cloud and data ecosystem (Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Huawei Cloud) and how enterprises there build around it.
- Open source community experience, including engaging developer and engineering audiences in the region.
- Experience effectively working remotely in a global, distributed organization..

We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why This Role?
We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to join Cohere's customer-facing Program Management team, with a focus on Canadian public sector and defence accounts. This is a highly specialized role requiring an individual who understands technical program delivery, the technical complexity of frontier AI models and the unique requirements of government and defence organizations.
You will be the critical bridge between our cutting-edge AI capabilities and the specific needs of Canadian federal departments, provincial agencies, Crown corporations, and defence organizations. In this role, you'll collaborate with our Strategic Customer team, Applied ML (AML) Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), Platform, Product, and Go-to-Market teams, serving as the technical program lead and trusted advisor for our most sensitive and high-impact government engagements.
Location: Ottawa required
Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance strongly preferred; candidates eligible and willing to obtain clearance will also be considered.
What You'll Do
Customer Program Leadership:
- Own end-to-end technical program delivery for Canadian public sector and defence customers, from initial deployment through production scaling
- Serve as the primary technical program point of contact for government customers, building trusted relationships with departmental CIOs, IT directors, and technical teams
- Translate complex government requirements (security, compliance, accessibility, bilingualism, data sovereignty) into actionable engineering plans
- Navigate government procurement processes, RFP responses, and contractual technical obligations.
Strategic Communication:
- Provide clear, timely, and objective communication across Cohere's engineering organization, customer stakeholders, and government leadership
- Translate between AI/ML technical concepts and government-appropriate language for decision-makers who may not have deep technical backgrounds
- Present technical roadmaps and status updates to senior government officials and departmental executives
- Represent Cohere's technical capabilities in sensitive government and defence contexts.
Complex Program Management:
- Create and manage project schedules that account for government timelines, security review processes, and ministerial approval cycles
- Identify and manage dependencies across government departments, security authorities, cloud service providers, and internal Cohere teams
- Navigate risks unique to government deployments: privacy compliance, Algorithmic Impact Assessments, Treasury Board submissions, security authorizations
- Drive alignment between product development priorities and specific government requirements.

- Bilingual (English/French) proficiency
- Background in or strong familiarity with Canadian defence, intelligence, or critical infrastructure sectors
- Experience with GC Cloud services (Azure, AWS GovCloud) or Protected B/C environments
- Project management certification (PMP, PgMP) or government-specific methodologies.
Security Clearance Requirements
This role requires eligibility for Canadian government security clearance.
Strong preference will be given to candidates who currently hold an active Top Secret (TS) clearance, as this will enable immediate engagement with our most sensitive defence and national security customers.
However, we will also consider exceptional candidates who:
- Currently hold Secret clearance and are eligible for TS upgrade
- Do not currently hold clearance, but are eligible and willing to undergo the Top Secret clearance process
- Have a previous government security clearance that has lapsed
Please note that obtaining Top Secret clearance can take 12-18 months. Candidates without active clearance will work on non-classified public sector accounts while the clearance process is underway.
What Makes This Role Unique
This isn't typical program management—it's a highly specialized role at the intersection of frontier AI, national security, and public sector digital transformation. You'll work on some of Canada's most sensitive and impactful AI deployments, helping government organizations harness cutting-edge technology while maintaining the highest standards of security, ethics, and accountability.
If you're passionate about responsible AI adoption, understand the unique constraints and opportunities within government, and want to have an outsized impact on how Canada leverages AI to serve its citizens, this role is for you.
For candidates in Canada, the Compensation Range is: $160,000 – $245,000 [CAD]

Imunify360
is a leading developer of Linux infrastructure and security solutions. Our flagship product, Imunify360, is a comprehensive security suite that protects thousands of shared hosting environments, VPS, and dedicated servers worldwide. Our clients include industry giants such as Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, and Zoom, with over 4,500 customers globally. The company has more than 250 employees.
We are looking for an
engineer-architect
to build a
new product from scratch
. This is not a position within an existing team—you will single-handedly create a runtime protection layer for Node.js applications. The hosting market is rapidly adopting Node.js, and modern applications are increasingly generated by users with AI tools and little technical security expertise. Your mission is to make protection automatic, transparent to client code, and effective in real time.
This is a role with the highest level of
ownership
(Senior / Staff / Architect level), where you will make key architectural decisions and take full responsibility for the outcome.
Responsibilities
Define the technical approach for building runtime protection inside the Node.js process.
Design the detection logic to identify and block attacks during application execution.
Build and launch the first version of the product in real production environments.
Ensure the protection works
without requiring changes to client code
and without breaking legitimate applications.
Continuously improve the product based on telemetry, production feedback, and real-world incidents.
Achieve target values across four key metrics:
Runtime overhead
False positives
False negatives
Customer escalation volume
Requirements
The top priority is Security, not just Node.js.
Security experience outweighs general backend tenure.
Must-have:
Experience in Security Engineering or Security Research
(deep understanding of attack vectors and defense methods).
Have independently built and shipped a product/solution from scratch
(end-to-end ownership: from idea to production).
Ability to take an ambiguous problem, define a solution, and deliver a working result without constant supervision.
Experience designing architecture and making key technical decisions (Staff/Architect level is a strong plus).
English language:
Intermediate or higher
(written and spoken — all interviews are conducted in English).
Nice-to-have:
Security experience specifically in the context of Node.js (vulnerability analysis, securing, researching Node.js applications).
Experience with Linux in production and development environments.
Knowledge of Runtime Protection, WAF, instrumentation, malware analysis, and Incident Response.
Experience in managed hosting / VPS domains.
Experience with AI coding agents (Copilot, Cursor, etc.).
Important:
If you are a Security Engineer / Researcher who doesn't code on a daily basis, you must be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and be capable of building an MVP with their help.
Who you are (mindset):
Builder:
You genuinely enjoy creating something new and seeing it run in production.
High ownership:
You don't wait for tasks to be assigned — you define the approach and own the results.
Practioner:
You write code (yourself or with AI), not just review and coordinate.
You understand
Detection Engineering
— how detection rules behave at scale across thousands of servers and the true cost of false positives.
We do NOT consider candidates who:
Have only theoretical or research experience without shipping real products.
Have general Node.js development experience but lack a security component.
Reside in countries with complex B2B tax reporting requirements (USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, and others — to be clarified during screening).
Have frequent job changes (every 1–2 years) without valid reasons.
Benefits
Format:
100% remote work anywhere in the world.
Legal setup:
B2B only (contract with your sole proprietorship or company).
Budget:
Up to $12,000 gross/month (before taxes, under a B2B agreement).
Company:
A stable, established international product company with 15+ years in the market.
Role:
A key position in building a new product line from the ground up.
Location: San Francisco; New York City

Perplexity is revolutionizing how companies get work done. We are seeking a Virtual Events Manager to build the channel that shows people what our products can do and teaches them how to use them. You will develop a deep working knowledge of our products, turn that knowledge into compelling live experiences, and own the programs that convert audiences into active users and qualified pipeline.
This role has two sides. You are a charismatic host and product storyteller who can command a virtual room, and you are the operator who keeps every event on the rails. You will find and prepare the right experts from across Perplexity, work with Growth to build the audience, and measure whether each program produced a real business return.
If you have a passion for understanding how things work, thrive in taking something complex and making it engaging, and want to build a world-class virtual events engine from the ground up, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Know the product cold. Develop a deeper working knowledge of our products than anyone else in events, using new features as they ship, building the workflows yourself, and staying close to the teams that built them.
- Own virtual events end to end. Run the channel from program strategy and calendar planning through event briefs, speaker staffing, rehearsals, live production, follow-up, and retros. Build a reliable portfolio of onboarding programs, product launches, feature deep-dives, customer conversations, and use-case workshops.
- Bring the product to life. Host, moderate, present, and demonstrate the product live with energy and clarity. Turn complex capabilities into specific, accurate stories that audiences can understand and put to work.
- Find and prepare the right people. Build relationships across Product, Engineering, Research, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Marketing to identify the strongest speakers and subject-matter experts for each program. Brief them thoroughly, sharpen their stories, and make sure they are ready to deliver.
- Build the audience. Partner with Growth, Lifecycle, Social, Comms, Sales, and Customer Success on full-funnel promotion plans that drive qualified registrations. Track pacing closely, identify gaps early, and run experiments across audience, creative, channel mix, timing, and follow-up.
- Turn every event into an engine. Extend the value of each program through recordings, replays, clips, FAQs, demo flows, education materials, and sales follow-up. Build formats and templates that make the next event faster and better.
- Measure outcomes, not just outputs. Instrument the funnel from registration through attendance, engagement, product activation, qualified pipeline, and revenue. Track cost per registration, cost per attendee, cost per qualified attendee, sourced and influenced pipeline, and channel ROI, then use the findings to improve the portfolio.
- Build the operating system. Create the intake process, master calendar, production checklists, run-of-show templates, speaker bench, readiness gates, contingency plans, scorecards, and reporting cadence required to scale the channel without lowering quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in virtual events, product marketing, customer education, demand generation, or a related role, ideally within a high-growth technology company, or work that proves the skill regardless of title.
- Proven ability to learn technical products deeply and translate complex capabilities into simple, specific, and accurate live demonstrations.
- A polished, credible on-camera presence, with experience hosting, interviewing, moderating, or presenting to professional audiences.
- Strong cross-functional instincts and the ability to find, recruit, brief, and coordinate busy experts without relying on formal authority.
- Full-funnel growth fluency, including registration strategy, audience segmentation, campaign testing, conversion, and post-event nurture.
- Analytical rigor, with experience defining channel metrics, working with CRM and marketing automation data, and calculating return on investment.
- Excellent production judgment and attention to detail, including rehearsals, technical readiness, live moderation, and fallback planning.
- High slope: you learn unfamiliar products and domains fast, and your rate of improvement is your standout trait.
- Extreme comfort delivering clarity in high-velocity, ambiguous environments.

Great products grow when people experience their value firsthand. We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager to design and scale programs that turn in-person engagement into enterprise pipeline. You will manage a full range of third-party sponsorships and Perplexity-led field events that drive awareness, deepen relationships with senior buyers, and accelerate opportunities.
You will join a small field marketing team as an equal partner, working together to divide the portfolio based on company priorities, capacity, geography, and each person's strengths. This is a hands-on role for someone who can set the strategy and execute every detail. You will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Growth, Partnerships, and Customer Success to identify the right audiences, build programs around their needs, and turn each event into measurable business impact.
The ideal candidate is a field marketing generalist who is equally comfortable evaluating a sponsorship, building a regional plan, hosting an executive dinner, working a conference floor, and analyzing pipeline conversion afterward. You may bring deeper experience in sponsored events or owned programs, but you should be ready to operate across both.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-own the field marketing strategy. Work as an equal partner on a two-person field marketing team to build the portfolio around company priorities, target accounts, sales territories, product launches, and pipeline goals. Divide and conquer across programs while maintaining shared standards, visibility, and accountability.
- Turn field engagement into pipeline. Design every program around a clear audience, business objective, conversion path, and follow-up plan, from pre-event outreach through opportunity creation and deal acceleration.
- Own third-party event sponsorships. Evaluate conferences and sponsorship opportunities, recommend where Perplexity should invest, negotiate and activate packages, coordinate speakers and on-site presence, and build the pre-event and post-event motion required to produce a return.
- Run high-impact Perplexity events. Own executive dinners, vertical roundtables, regional roadshows, customer workshops, and hackathons that build pipeline and deepen relationships with senior buyers.
- Align tightly with Sales. Partner with Account Executives, SDRs, and Sales leadership on target-account lists, meeting goals, outreach, on-site roles, hand-raiser routing, and post-event follow-up.
- Represent Perplexity in the market. Lead on-site execution across conferences and owned events, including messaging, booth or venue experience, executive participation, customer meetings, and post-event conversion.
- Build integrated campaigns around field moments. Work with Product Marketing, Growth, Lifecycle, Social, Comms, and Partnerships to extend events through targeted outreach, content, digital programs, and sales activation before and after each moment.
- Own execution end to end. Manage agencies, vendors, venues, budgets, timelines, run-of-show, staffing, production, and contingency planning while maintaining a high bar for attendee experience.
- Measure outcomes, not activity. Instrument the path from invited account through registration, attendance, meeting, opportunity, and revenue. Track cost per attendee, meetings held, target-account engagement, sourced and influenced pipeline, deal acceleration, and program ROI.
- Build the field operating system. Create the planning cadence, intake process, event tiers, checklists, reporting, and retros required to scale the program and make investment decisions based on results.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in field marketing and event marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology.
- Proven track record building and scaling a portfolio that includes third-party sponsorships, conferences, and company-led field programs, with measurable pipeline or deal-acceleration results.
- A versatile, hands-on operator who can move between strategy, sponsorship evaluation, campaign planning, event production, executive management, on-site execution, and performance analysis.
- Deep expertise in either third-party sponsorships or company-led field events is welcome, provided you have the range and interest to operate across both.
- Strong event planning and execution skills, with experience managing both intimate executive programs and larger conferences, roadshows, or customer events.
- Collaborative and low-ego, with experience working alongside a peer to divide a large portfolio, make tradeoffs, share context, and step into each other's programs when needed.
- Excellent relationship builder who can engage senior executives, customers, prospects, Sales teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners with equal ease.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling event narratives, executive briefs, and field campaign plans.
- Analytically rigorous, with experience setting targets, managing budgets, working with CRM data, and reporting sourced and influenced pipeline.
- Highly organized, resourceful, and calm under pressure, with the judgment to solve problems quickly when plans change on site.
- Willingness to travel frequently for event management and field activations.
