About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Team
The Security team protects Anthropic's AI systems and maintains the trust of our users and society.
About the Role
At Anthropic, we are pioneering new frontiers in AI that have the potential to greatly benefit society. However, developing advanced AI also comes with risks if not properly safeguarded. As a Research Engineer, you'll help to safely advance the capabilities of our models in incident response, security analysis, vulnerability remediation, and other areas of defensive cybersecurity.
This role blends research and engineering, requiring you to both develop novel approaches and realize them in code. Your work will include designing and implementing RL environments, conducting experiments and evaluations, delivering your work into production training runs, and collaborating with other researchers, engineers, and cybersecurity specialists across and outside Anthropic.
This role requires ML experience combined with domain expertise in cybersecurity. You might be an ML researcher with a history of cybersecurity work, or a security professional with a background in ML.
Responsibilities
Partner with researchers and safety teams across Anthropic to understand their analytical needs and build solutions
Develop agentic integrations that allow AI systems to autonomously investigate and act on analytical findings
Contribute to the strategic direction of the team, including decisions about what to build, what to partner on, and where to invest
This role may require participation in an on-call rotation.
You may be a good fit if you
Have experience with machine learning.
Have experience in cybersecurity research.

Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
We are looking for an experienced Partnership Manager to join our Accountant Partnerships team in France, specifically focused on building and developing relationships with accounting firms and accountant networks.
The core purpose of this role is to turn accounting firms into long-term Alan partners and advocates. You will help them recommend Alan to their clients, improve their day-to-day experience with health insurance and payroll administration, and generate qualified business opportunities for Alan’s Sales teams.
The accountant ecosystem represents a significant growth opportunity for Alan. France has approximately 22,000 accounting firms supporting around 3.5 million companies, and Alan’s existing Accountant Partnership channel has already generated significant ARR through a relatively small number of partners.
The team is now entering a new phase of development. We are hiring new Partnership Manager to help build a scalable, high-performing partner network and contribute to Alan’s ambition to make Accountant Partnerships a strategic growth channel.
Here is how your key outcomes will look like:
1. Build and grow a strong partner network: Identify, prioritise and develop relationships with high-potential accounting firms and networks.
2. Drive partnerships from discussion to activation: Lead partnership discussions, onboarding and launch, ensuring that Alan creates value for both accountants and their clients.
3. Activate partners and generate business opportunities: Build engagement plans, support partner enablement and work closely with Sales to turn recommendations into qualified opportunities.
4. Help scale the Accountant Partnerships model: Manage partner performance, share insights with internal teams and contribute to the development of scalable playbooks, tools and processes.
⭐ IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for someone who combines strong partnership and commercial skills with the ability to build trusted relationships in a complex and evolving B2B ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing partnerships from initial contact to activation and long-term development. They should enjoy working autonomously in an environment where there is still a lot to build.
You may be a great fit at Alan if you have/are:
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management or customer success in a B2B environment
- Experience managing partnerships throughout the full lifecycle, from prospecting and closing to activation and ongoing relationship management
- Experience managing a portfolio of partners, ideally in a fast-growing company
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- A data-oriented mindset, with the ability to track performance and prioritise opportunities
- The ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Product, Data and Operations teams
- An entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership and the ability to work autonomously
- Full professional fluency in French and professional fluency in English
Experience working directly with accounting firms, payroll providers, HR software or insurance companies would be a strong plus.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience with B2B distribution partnerships, where a third party recommends or distributes a solution to its own customers. Experience limited to technology integrations, co-marketing or visibility partnerships would be less relevant for this role.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C0-D level https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.
Everything else is a plus. We care about having a diversity of experiences, profiles and backgrounds in our team.
🙌 PERKS & BENEFITS https://alan.com/about/life-at-alan/a/perks
At Alan, we believe that being in good health is a basic need, and it starts with our employees. This is why Alaners are provided with a stimulating environment and perks ensuring they are happy, efficient and spend only high-quality time with co-workers.
Therefore, we offer:
- Fair rewards. Generous equity packages complement your base salary, for permanent contracts only.
- Flexible office with hybrid setup. Amazing office space at our Paris HQ or sponsored co-working hubs in Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes or Biarritz.

- Flexible vacation policy and flexible working hours. Organize your time as you wish.
- Delightful healthcare insurance: Extremely comprehensive health insurance - 100% for you and your children, 90-100% for partners depending on your country (permanent contracts only).
- Transport. Generous transit benefit
- Learning & Training opportunities. A highly flexible training policy free books and budget to attend and speak at conferences if the opportunity arises.
- Personal growth through coaching: At Alan, coaching isn't just a perk - it's core to who we are. Every Alaner is paired with a dedicated coach from day one, who helps maximize their impact, nurture engagement, and navigate Alan's values to develop their full potential. Learn more about our coaching culture https://alan.com/en/blog/discover-alan/a/alan-culture-excellence-through-coaching.
- Parental leave. Extended parental leave for all new parents, for permanent contracts only.
IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE NOT ROLES.
After reading this job description, if you feel like you don’t have all the necessary prerequisites but that it matches where you are now or what you'd like to grow into in your next position, we encourage you to apply!
Not everybody will enter our recruitment process, but all, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply as it can only bring learnings or success.

- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.

We're hiring a Junior Trader to join our trading team. You'll work directly with senior traders across strategies on centralized and decentralized venues, and take on your own responsibilities quickly.
We don't require prior DeFi experience. We do require that you're quantitative, technical, and able to move fast without breaking things.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Execute and manage trades across centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) venues — order books, AMM pools, and concentrated liquidity positions.
- Monitor positions, inventory, and P&L in real time. Identify risks early and act on them.
- Build and improve the tooling the desk runs on: position trackers, reporting dashboards, hedging workflows, reconciliation.
- Analyze market and execution data to answer questions that matter — where slippage comes from, which pools are actually profitable, how our fill quality compares to the market.
- Develop real depth in market structure and protocol mechanics (AMMs, PMMs, lending protocols) and bring it back to the desk.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 0–3 years of experience — recent graduates with strong technical credentials, or candidates from quant research, engineering, data, or markets-adjacent roles looking to move onto a trading desk.
- Strong quantitative foundation: probability, statistics, and the instinct to reach for data before opinions.
- Python preferred, ideally applied to financial modeling or data analysis (pandas, notebooks, working with messy datasets). Adjacent tooling — R, MATLAB, SQL, serious Excel modeling — counts.
- Real interest in crypto and DeFi. Professional crypto experience isn't required; demonstrated engagement with the space is.
- Sound judgment under pressure. Markets move at 3am and things break. We need someone who stays composed, thinks clearly, and escalates early.
- Precise communicator
- Self-directed and adaptable; comfortable operating with autonomy across time zones in a remote-first environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Personal trading, market-making, or on-chain activity of any kind — a portfolio, a bot, an arbitrage script, a Dune dashboard.
- Familiarity with Solana tooling (Jupiter, Orca, Drift) or EVM DeFi (Uniswap, Aave, Curve).
- Exposure to algorithmic or systematic trading.
- Machine learning or large-scale data analysis (regression, tree-based methods, classification).
- Internships or prior work at a trading firm, market maker, exchange, or protocol.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- Direct mentorship from traders running real capital — you'll learn by working alongside them, not from a curriculum.
- Responsibility as fast as you can earn it, with clear feedback on where you stand.
- Exposure across the full stack of a trading operation: execution, risk, tooling, counterparty relationships, and market structure.
- A front-row seat as equities, commodities, and crypto converge on-chain.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Agent Strategist https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-strategist-your-phd-in-applied-ai, you own how Sierra's AI agents come to life for our customers — from first pilot to a production agent handling thousands of conversations a day. You sit at the intersection of product, building agents and customer-facing work, and stay just as close to the technology as you are to the people you build for. You transform a customer's thorniest, highest-stakes problems into agents that measurably move their business.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-development-life-cycle. Take agents from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, and evaluation, to launch and continuous iteration in production — translating business goals into an agent that outperforms, and tuning relentlessly until it's the best version of itself in the real world. You'll have real ownership and autonomy over the outcome.
- Be the trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders. Sit shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers' executives, understand what success actually means to their business, and shape the AI strategy that gets them there.
- Partner with the customer's working teams day to day. Run working sessions, troubleshoot the agent as issues come up, and make the calls that keep the build on track for launch.
- Directly impact product. Surface unmet needs from your customer work, and feed them back to research and platform to shape where Sierra goes next.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS
These are the kinds of projects that strategists on our team have worked on recently:
- Scope and launch a subscription-retention agent for a large telecommunications or media company that consistently outperforms human agents at saving at-risk customers.
- Stand up an agent for a commerce customer that troubleshoots a broken device end-to-end and personalizes product recommendations in the same conversation.
- Redesign the conversation flows for a financial services agent so it can handle complex, regulated interactions — and convert a pilot into a multi-team production deployment. See our financial services blog https://sierra.ai/blog/five-ways-to-use-ai-agents-financial-services for examples.
- Partner with product on a net-new capability — a new agent architecture or self-service tooling — using a live customer as the design partner.
- Define the evaluation and quality bar for a new agent, then use those metrics to drive a measurable lift in outcome https://sierra.ai/blog/outcome-based-pricing-for-ai-agents week over week.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Customer obsession. Genuine energy being in front of customers — understanding their business and needs, thriving in complex organizations, and building trusted relationships.
- Communication. Clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic problem-solving in ambiguity. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to break down complex problems, spot risks early, and adapt as things change fast.
- Technical aptitude. Comfortable engaging directly with technical concepts - reading API documentation, understanding data models and system architecture, and following engineering tradeoffs in a design discussion.
- Ownership and delivery. A track record of running multiple complex, high-visibility projects at once and driving them to outcomes.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production — hands-on with the tools behind them (eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, prompt engineering) — working closely with technical counterparts.
- You've been a founder, founding team member, or operator — you know how to balance craft, ownership, and speed.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience — and/or an MBA or comparable experience at the intersection of technology and business.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Infrastructure team builds and operates the foundational systems behind Perplexity’s products. At Perplexity, infrastructure sits on the critical path of every answer, supporting real-time search, retrieval, model serving, and agent workloads where latency, reliability, and rapid iteration directly shape the user experience. This role is for strong infrastructure engineers whose experience spans multiple domains and who are energized by cross-cutting problems that do not fit neatly within a single platform team.
You do not need to be a specialist in every area. Scope ranges from owning major production systems to setting technical direction across teams, leading complex infrastructure programs, and shaping infrastructure strategy across the organization. If a specialized Cloud Infrastructure, Storage Platform, Backend Platform, Data Platform, Connector Platform, or AI Acceleration role clearly matches your expertise and interests, apply directly to it. If your experience spans several infrastructure domains or you are most energized by cross-cutting systems problems, apply here. Submit one application, and we will consider you across the Infrastructure organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own cross-cutting infrastructure problems that span compute, storage, networking, data, deployment, and reliability, including eliminating bottlenecks across retrieval and serving paths, building shared abstractions across deployment environments, and resolving failure modes that cross platform boundaries.
- Design, build, and operate distributed infrastructure supporting Perplexity’s consumer, AI, and enterprise workloads, owning systems from architecture through production operation.
- Identify gaps between existing platforms and build shared abstractions, automation, and tooling that make infrastructure easier and safer to use.
- Improve system performance, availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency across online request traffic and background workloads.
- Debug complex production issues across service and infrastructure boundaries, then turn the findings into durable architectural improvements.
- Set technical direction for complex infrastructure systems, lead high-impact programs across teams, and establish durable technical standards through collaboration with infrastructure, product, AI, and security partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production backend, platform, or distributed systems.
- A track record of owning complex production systems end to end and delivering sustained technical impact across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction, lead through influence, and raise the engineering bar through architecture, design reviews, and mentorship.
- Strong software engineering skills in Python or other systems or backend languages such as Go, Rust, C++, or Java.
- Meaningful experience across at least two infrastructure domains, such as cloud platforms, distributed systems, Kubernetes, storage, databases, networking, data systems, developer infrastructure, or production reliability.
- Ability to develop depth quickly in unfamiliar systems, reason across software and infrastructure layers, and drive production incidents from diagnosis through durable resolution.
If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn’t match every qualification listed above.
