What We’re Building
Honeycomb is a service for the near and present future, defining observability and raising expectations of what developer tools can do! We’re working with well known companies like HelloFresh, Slack, LaunchDarkly, and Vanguard and more across a range of industries. This is an exciting time in our trajectory, we’ve closed Series D funding, scaled past the 200-person mark, and were named to Forbes’ America’s Best Startups of 2022 and 2023!
If you want to see what we’ve been up to, please check out these

.
Who We Are
We come for the impact, and stay for the culture! We’re a talented, opinionated, passionate, fiercely inclusive, and responsible group of bees. We have conviction and we strive to live
our values
every day. We want our people to do what they truly love amongst a team of highly talented (but humble) peers.
How We Work
We are a fully distributed company, which means we believe it is not where you sit, but how you deliver that matters most. We invest in our people and care about how you orient to our culture and processes. At the same time we imbue a lot of trust, autonomy, and accountability from Day 1. #LI-Remote
Little more about the team:
Talent Acquisition at Honeycomb builds the teams behind our observability platform. As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you'll run a full desk of priority R&D searches and act as the talent advisor Hiring Managers call before they open a req, not after. You'll report to the Head of TA, partner directly with R&D leadership, and own how hiring gets done on your desk from intake to accepted offer. We're remote-first and give you real trust and autonomy from day one, so you'll shape how we hire as we scale.
What you’ll do in the role:
Own full-cycle searches for R&D/ Technical focused roles, from intake to offer acceptance, and deliver diverse, well-vetted slates on target timelines.
Manage a full desk of priority reqs, keep candidates moving within our hiring SLAs, and keep Greenhouse data clean without being chased. This includes sourcing, interviewing, reviwing applicants, scheduling etc.
Advise Hiring Managers on search strategy and leveling, using market data, pipeline analytics, and compensation benchmarks to shape decisions rather than only carry them out.
Build lasting advisory relationships with your Business Unit leaders: align stakeholders on a shared plan, guide debate to a decision, and explain the reasoning once it's made.
Partner with the Head of TA to turn approved headcount into recruiting plans, and flag risks early with a proposed fix.
Own the implementation of our competency-based hiring process by building Greenhouse scorecards, running interviewer kick-offs, and facilitating structured debriefs.
Use DEI sourcing tactics that broaden representation and improve quality of hire.
Analyze funnel metrics in Greenhouse and Gem, share what you learn with stakeholders, and improve the process, including cross-functional TA projects like interviewer enablement and candidate-experience NPS.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth tech, with a track record of filling senior engineering IC and first-line manager roles.
Experience running a full desk of concurrent reqs while holding to clear SLAs and quality standards.
A history of acting as a talent advisor, where you turned funnel and compensation data into recommendations that changed hiring decisions.
Hands-on experience with structured interviewing and ATS (scorecards, reporting, scheduling workflows).
Measurable results from DEI sourcing and fair-assessment practices.
Crisp written updates, plus experience facilitating productive kick-offs, debriefs, and pipeline reviews.
Comfort having direct, kind conversations with Hiring Managers about candidates, leveling, or process, in line with Honeycomb's values of Ownership, Feedback Is a Muscle, and Kind Candor.
Experience in a remote-first, fast-changing environment, and a habit of mentoring peers and improving process as you go.
Nice to haves:
Experience with Competency based hiring
Experience utilizing AI to help make process improvements
Preferred experience with Greenhouse
In-house recruiting experience strongly preferred
Base Salary based on level of experience
$140,000
—
$165,000 USD
What you'll get when you join the Hive:
A stake in our success - generous equity with employee-friendly stock program
It’s not about how strong of a negotiator you are - our pay is based on transparent levels relative to experience
Time to recharge with unlimited PTO
A distributed-first mindset and culture (really!)
Home office, co-working, and internet stipend
Full benefits coverage for employees, with additional coverage available for dependents
Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, regardless of path to parenthood
Annual development allowance
And much more...
Please note we cannot currently sponsor or support visa transfers at this time.
Additionally, in compliance with applicable law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
We are looking for a Deputy Regional Information Security Officer to own ICT security, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance across a portfolio of entities at different stages of maturity, from established licensed operations to new markets launching under frameworks. This is not a support function. You will be the named security officer for your entities, accountable to their boards and their regulators.
This is a high visibility, high trust role for a security governance professional who thrives at the intersection of technology, compliance, and financial services, and who is energised by applying established group frameworks to the local needs of a growing regulated entity.
Payward is one of the world's most trusted and secure digital asset platforms, operating across a growing network of regulated entities spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. As we expand into new markets and deepen our regulatory footprint, the demand for embedded, senior-level ICT security leadership at the entity level has never been higher.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Prepare, contribute and report to regional risk governance and board committee meetings, highlighting control status, risk exposure, and readiness
- Execute risk assessments and control testing across UAE operations in line with VARA cybersecurity guidelines and security best practices
- Maintain and review Business Impact Assessments (BIA), integrating findings into global resilience planning
- Contribute to Business Continuity Plan (BCP) documentation, testing, and updates, including entity-specific scenarios
- Collaborate with Group Security and IT to:
- Align UAE-specific regulatory controls with global policies and control frameworks
- Contribute to the development of security policies to meet international and UAE compliance requirements
- Conduct security control validation and document evidence for internal/external audits
- Participate in remediation planning for audit findings and track progress to closure
- Support the RISO in preparing and submitting regulatory documentation to regulators
- Prepare and present security and resilience reports for internal governance committees and local entity management
- Assist in responses to regulatory examinations, including due diligence and compliance queries
- Liaise with compliance and legal teams to interpret regulatory changes and propose control adaptations
- Participate in the regional incident response process, assist with post-incident reviews, and support continuous improvement activities
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to embed security requirements into operational processes
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Regulatory Governance
- Serve as the named ICT security officer for your appointed entities, with formal accountability for security risk, ICT governance, and resilience oversight at board level
- Prepare and present security, risk, and resilience materials to entity boards, with material review and coaching from the Global RISO Lead beforehand
- Act as the primary point of contact for VARA and other relevant regulatory authorities on ICT and security matters -- including examinations, inspections, licensing interactions, and ongoing supervisory dialogue
- Support entity go live processes by implementing and localizing established group ICT governance frameworks for new market launches, ensuring they meet UAE regulatory requirements and entity specific needs
- As the portfolio evolves, engage with additional regulatory frameworks with support from the broader RISO team
- ICT Risk and Security
- Lead ICT and security risk assessments for your appointed entity, escalating material risks through local governance and the Global RISO Lead
- Maintain and adapt entity level policies and procedures to align with group standards and UAE regulatory requirements
- Coordinate control testing, evidence documentation, and audit preparation with global security and compliance teams
- Manage the classification, escalation, and regulatory reporting of ICT-related incidents within the timeframes required by applicable regulators
- Operational Resilience
- Lead business impact assessments, critical function mapping, and business continuity planning at the entity level
- Oversee continuity and recovery testing, ensuring outputs meet regulatory expectations and feed back into global resilience planning
- Maintain oversight of ICT third-party dependencies and outsourcing arrangements in line with regulatory requirements
- Group Liaison
- Act as a key local liaison between UAE entities, the RISO team, Group Security, and Compliance
- Drive local implementation of group frameworks, policies, and resilience standards, adapting them where jurisdiction-specific requirements demand
- Represent entity priorities in group-led security initiatives and governance forums
WHAT YOU BRING
- 7+ years of experience in information security governance, ICT risk management, or regulatory compliance in a regulated financial services, fintech, or virtual asset environment
- Direct experience as a named regulatory contact, involvement in regulatory examinations, supervisory interactions, licensing processes, or equivalent
- Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks. Experience with VARA or other virtual asset / crypto-native regulatory regimes is a significant advantage and strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to implement, adapt, and maintain compliance or governance frameworks within a regulated environment
- Experience conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and resilience planning at the entity level
- Familiarity with ICT outsourcing and third-party risk management within group structures
- Ability to translate technical risk into board-level narrative and regulatory-grade documentation
- Comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously, each at a different stage of regulatory maturity
- Strong project management skills and the ability to drive outcomes across cross-functional, globally distributed teams
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or ISO27001 Lead Implementer preferred
- Familiarity with EU frameworks such as DORA and MiCA is strongly preferred
WHY THIS ROLE
- You will hold a named role within a regulated entity with accountability and board-level visibility
- You will operate at the frontier of virtual asset regulation -- VARA is one of the most advanced and fastest-evolving crypto regulatory frameworks in the world, and you will be shaping how Kraken meets it from day one of market entry
- You will build ICT governance programs from scratch for new market entries, not inherit and maintain what others have set up
- Exposure to local governance forums, regulators, and senior stakeholders, with remote guidance and preparation support from the Global RISO Lead
- The scope of this role is intentionally designed to grow -- as Kraken's entity footprint expands, so does the portfolio and the regulatory breadth you will be exposed to, potentially including Asian and EU frameworks such as DORA
- You will join a remote-first, international team shaping the future of crypto asset governance and resilience across some of the world's most demanding regulatory environments
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

Sr. Developer Relations Manager
Backblaze — Remote, US
Compensation: $172,000–$215,000 base + equity
About Backblaze
Backblaze is the object storage layer for AI and data-intensive workloads, fueling customer success with cloud storage purpose-built for scalable performance and economics. We make customers unstoppable by solving their toughest storage challenges.
Today we manage nearly 6 billion gigabytes of data for 500K+ customers across 175+ countries with fast growth among Neoclouds, GenAI companies, and companies reliant on data–heavy workloads. Developers are at the center of our next chapter, and we're serious about earning their trust.
About the Role
Developer relations is evolving quickly. Coding agents, informed by reference architectures and machine-readable documentation, are increasingly making integration decisions on behalf of developers. And trust, transparency, and human interaction are more important than ever as open source ideals and corporate agendas are weirdly attacked, limited, or promoted by unexpected sources and trends.
Backblaze B2 Cloud storage was launched as a result of developer demand and has been committed to the developer ecosystem since day one. Today, we are seeking a leader who can help us become more present and trusted than ever before in this space, both as the storage default for agent-led projects and as a leading source of support, inspiration, and enablement for developers who need storage for whatever they’re building.
As Sr. Developer Relations Manager, you'll work across a strong set of existing assets — a mature docs team, an engineering team focused on AI ecosystem integrations, our Flamethrower Startup Program, a content org, and an outward-facing SE team — and coordinate their outputs into a coherent, credible developer presence that earns mindshare where it matters most.
This is a program-defining role for someone who thinks in systems, works backwards from adoption goals, knows how to make a company technically credible with developers who haven't heard of it yet, and is comfortable both channeling and being the face of developer relationships at Backblaze.
What You'll Own
Developer Presence in the Agentic Stack
The primary goal of this role is to ensure Backblaze B2 is the best storage layer for developers and for their agents. That means understanding how AI coders discover and evaluate infrastructure tools today: through MCP servers, coding agent contexts, reference architectures, SDKs, and machine-readable documentation. You'll work with the internal AI team to define what "agent-ready" means for Backblaze and drive execution against it across engineering, docs, and content.
Cross-Functional Coordination
This role starts as an individual contributor, but you'll have real influence over a strong set of resources: an engineering team building integrations into AI tooling (MLFlow, ComfyUI, Hugging Face, popular agent frameworks), a docs team that can be directed toward structured, agent-consumable formats, a content org that can amplify what you build, and an SE team that can extend your enablement work, among a number of others at the company. Your job is to coordinate these teams around a unified developer strategy, keep that strategy moving, and share its outputs with the broader world.
Community and Ecosystem
Developers trust other developers. You'll underscore Backblaze's credibility in the communities where AI builders live: GitHub, Discord, open source projects, developer events, and the growing ecosystem of AI infrastructure tooling. You'll elevate internal technical voices, use their expertise to build your own thought leadership in the space, and partner with ecosystem players, and show up in a way that is earned, not marketed. Critically, you should have a presence in this community before coming to the role.
Developer Feedback Loop
You'll maintain a tight feedback loop from the developer community back to product and engineering — surfacing adoption friction, unmet integration needs, and emerging patterns worth prioritizing. The Flamethrower Startup Program gives you direct access to early-stage builders who can serve as signal-rich canaries for what's working and what isn't.
Metrics and Program Accountability
You'll define what success looks like — developer signups, activation rates, B2 adoption in AI frameworks, community engagement, content reach — and own progress against it. We're building this program to drive real revenue, and you'll be expected to connect the dots between awareness and conversion. Success in this role opens the door to bringing on, or from elsewhere in the company, developer resources to grow the program.
What We're Looking For
Meaningful DevRel, developer marketing, or developer experience leadership at a cloud infrastructure, open source, or AI tooling company. You've built or significantly grown a developer program, not just contributed to one.
Understand how agentic workflows are reshaping how developers discover and integrate infrastructure tools — and you have opinions about what that means for DevRel strategy.
Technically credible. You can read a codebase, evaluate an SDK, write a working integration, and have a real conversation with an engineer about tradeoffs. You don't need to be a full-time SWE, but you need to have been one, or close to it.
Worked, or started, without a large team. You know how to amplify yourself through cross-functional relationships, external partners, and community rather than headcount.
Strong communicator — to developers externally and to leadership internally. You can write a crisp technical tutorial and a clear exec summary with equal ease.
Existing presence in developer communities. A following, conference talks, open source contributions, a technical blog — some signal that developers pay attention when you show up.
Strong plus:
Direct experience with model training, data processing or generative media
Familiarity with how coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) surface and recommend infrastructure tools
Experience working with or building on top of open source frameworks in the AI/ML ecosystem (MLflow, DVC, Ray Data, WebDataset, and MosaicML Streaming)
Prior experience running or contributing to a startup/developer program (accelerator, cohort model, or similar)
What You'll Have to Work With
You won't be starting from scratch. You'll work closely with:
A mature, capable
docs team
that can be directed toward agent-consumable documentation formats and structured reference content
A strong
engineering team
dedicated to integrating Backblaze into the AI tooling ecosystem — building connectors, working on external integrations, and driving internal product improvements for developer use cases
Flamethrower
, our startup program, which is already generating community energy and early-adopter signal among AI builders
An outward-facing
solutions engineering team
that can extend your enablement work with hands-on technical support
A
content org
that can help produce and amplify developer-facing assets
Active strategic work from
Rawkode Academy
laying the DevRel foundation: audit, persona validation, content models, and engagement strategy
Why This Matters Now
Developers are making storage decisions earlier in the stack than ever before — often before they've spoken to a salesperson, often through a coding agent recommending a reference architecture. Backblaze has the right product, the right price point, and a growing engineering investment behind this motion. What we need is the person who can translate that into developer conviction at scale.
The window to establish Backblaze as the default AI storage layer is open now. This role exists to make sure we don't miss it.
Backblaze Perks
Healthcare for family, including dental and vision
Competitive compensation and 401K
RSU grants for full-time employees
ESPP program
Flexible vacation policy
Maternity & paternity leave
MacBook Pro plus a generous workstation stipend
Childcare bonus
Fertility treatment and support
Learning & development program
Commuter benefits
Culture that supports a healthy work-life balance
Pay Transparency
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials.
The expected salary range for this role is $172,000 - $215,000 plus 20% target annual bonus and RSUs.
At Backblaze, we value being fair and good to our customers, partners, and employees. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the core of our values. We are committed to fostering a workforce where all employees feel a sense of belonging regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, socio-economic status, ability, veteran status, and education. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Martech stack & compliance:
Own the marketing technology stack and its integrations; keep consent management, cookie compliance, and data handling aligned with privacy requirements and company policy.
AI for marketing:
Apply the same builder mindset to marketing — AI-assisted copy and creative variants, campaign localization at scale, automated performance summaries, and audience insight tooling.
Technical Bridge & Coordination
Stakeholder liaison:
Serve as a primary point of contact between internal stakeholders (especially the development team) and business operations, translating business needs into functional technical specifications.
Specification writing & QA:
Write clear technical specs, replicate scenarios, and fully test in QA and production before rollout.
Documentation:
Keep the operations manual and technical documentation current and useful for the team.
Cross-functional project leadership:
Lead multi-month initiatives (e.g., new catalog builds, platform redesigns, global/language expansions, migrations) from scoping through to launch — defining KPIs, coordinating between design/development/vendors, and testing at every step.
AI Development & Innovation
AI builder mindset:
Go beyond being “AI-savvy” — actively explore, prototype, and build AI-powered solutions that improve how the team works and how students learn (e.g., translation tools, automation of repetitive data tasks, AI-assisted reporting).
Tool development:
Design and build practical AI tools and workflows (e.g., custom Gemini/Claude “gems”/assistants, scripts, or low-code automations) to solve real operational bottlenecks — not just use off-the-shelf AI features.
Exploration & evaluation:
Stay current on emerging AI tools and platforms relevant to EdTech operations, and proactively propose where they could create value (efficiency, personalization, translation, content scaling, etc.).
AI project ownership:
Take end-to-end ownership of AI-driven initiatives — from investigating alternatives and setting up integrations, to testing and rolling out to production (as previously done with AI-powered course translation tooling).
Responsible use:
Use AI tools in a way that's compliant with company confidentiality and data-security standards, and only with company-approved systems.

OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix, Steuerbot and TaxScouts, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
AI is shifting how the best products get built. The handoffs between product, design, and engineering are slowing us down. The companies moving fastest are doing it with people who own the full loop, from the user problem to the shipped feature, without losing the thread.
At Taxfix, we’re rebuilding our R&D organization around this idea. We call these people builders.
A Builder has a primary craft, one they’re genuinely excellent at, but they don’t stop there. They stretch across product, design, and engineering as the situation demands, using AI to cover the gaps. They’re accountable to outcomes, not job descriptions.
Taxfix has put €5 billion back into our customers’ pockets and we aren’t stopping there. We operate in Germany, Spain, and the UK, and we’re in the middle of a genuine AI transformation in how we build and how we’re organized.
Assume there’s no designer to give you a Figma file. No engineer to hand the spec to. The magic is knowing what to build, why, and in what order, then making it happen. If building the thing sounds more natural to you than describing it, this role is for you.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DECISIONS:
- Take a user problem from rough idea to shipped product. Write the brief, design the flow, prototype it, and get it in front of users, with as few handoffs as possible. Own the full loop.
- Compress research, synthesis, and spec-writing from weeks into hours. You reach for AI tools not because you’ve been asked to, but because they faster make you faster in delivering high quality outcome. You know when to trust the output, when to edit it, and when to reject it. Use AI as a force multiplier.
- You structure fuzzy problems, identify what should and shouldn’t be built, and move forward when there are dozens of possible directions. The magic is in the trade-offs, not the feature list. Turn ambiguous ideas into things users can trust.
- You collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders on AI-related product work, translating AI concepts, capabilities, limitations, and outputs into clear product decisions. You work effectively in hybrid human-AI teams. Work in small, focused teams.
- You know the metric your team is trying to move. You measure your week by what changed in user behaviour, not by how many tickets moved to Done. Be accountable to outcomes, not roadmaps.
- You give feedback directly, to anyone, regardless of level. You raise blockers early and in the open. Push back when something’s wrong. Team player who raises the bar.
YOUR PROFILE:
YOUR CRAFT
- 5+ years experience in Product Management (ideally in fintech or B2B). You’ve shipped things that real people use, and you can point to the metric that moved when you did.
- Understand implicitly the product development process - from discovery, to user research to experimentation. You are able to build and defend a compelling strategy that solves user needs.
- You have a builder track record: you’ve made things with AI, not just written specs about them. Shipped products, agent workflows, or tools real users have touched. Any of these count whether at work or in your personal life.
- You’re AI-native by default. You use tools like Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or similar regularly. You follow the AI product space closely and you know the difference between a demo and something production-ready.
- You’ve built personal AI workflows that make you meaningfully faster. You know when to trust AI output, when to edit it, and when to reject it.
- You’ve gone from user problem to testable prototype without waiting for a brief to be written for you. The output was good enough that a team shipped from it.
- Low PM baggage: you’re not attached to how product management "should" be done. You care about outcomes, not territory.
- When designing and shipping AI-enabled products, you consider privacy, safety, fairness, transparency, bias, and accountability. You assess when AI-generated outputs are appropriate for use and raise concerns when risks or limitations are identified.
YOUR RANGE
- Across all three disciplines, you can hold your own: in Product you can identify opportunities, assess impact, and prioritize ruthlessly. In Design, you have taste: you know when something looks right but feels wrong. In Engineering, you’ve used AI coding tools to build something real, and you’re not dependent on an engineer to tell you why it’s broken.
HOW YOU WORK
- Data fluency: you know the metric you were trying to move, and you can say whether you moved it, with healthy skepticism about what metrics do and don’t tell you.
- You believe in experimentation and ship with velocity to learn quickly. You know your way around AB tests and are excited to try new data science models to learn faster.
- You’ve worked on products where getting it wrong has real consequences for real people, and that raised your bar, not lowered it.
- You’ve found a way through blockers rather than waiting to be unblocked. When something was genuinely impossible, you documented why and moved on.
- You bring an entrepreneurial and independent mindset. You are excited about spotting opportunities and then acting on them.
- Fluency in English is required (German is a plus).
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF…
- You’re not genuinely excited about being able to stretch across design and engineering functions.
- You’ve never built an AI prototype and/or shipped code, side projects count.
- You pride yourself in what you delivered rather than its impact
- You need certainty, a full brief, or someone else’s research to get started.
- You don’t believe in fast learning and getting things into customers hands early and use
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal tech meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.
Excited? So are we. Learn more about Team Taxfix https://medium.com/taxfix on our blog and get a glimpse of our culture.
At Taxfix, we believe that incredible things happen when you have a wealth of perspectives and experiences. We're proudly committed to equal employment and development opportunities no matter your gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, colour, disability, or place of origin. To help mitigate any potential unconscious biases, we ask that you refrain from including your picture, age, or marital status on your CV. Let your experiences speak for themselves.
Not sure if you meet all the requirements for this role? Please apply anyway. You might bring something special to the team that we hadn't considered previously.

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a hands-on Global Workplace Lead to own workplace experience across all Modal offices. You’ll manage our Workplace Experience team and set the tone for the day-to-day operations, programs, and physical environments that make each location thrive. You care as much about how a space feels as about how it functions, and bring the same taste and judgment to our offices that we bring to our product. You’ll develop a deep understanding of what each office actually needs, and build trusted relationships with local leads and cross-functional partners across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Manage and develop a team of workplace services professionals, setting direction, coaching performance, and building a high-functioning team
- Own operational quality across every office by tracking service levels and space utilization, spotting patterns, and fixing the underlying causes of recurring problems
- Stay ahead of what the business needs next by keeping a pulse on both local realities and company-wide priorities
- Build the global budget and vendor strategy for workplace experience, and hold contractors and service providers accountable to clear performance expectations
- Guide workplace experience through major transitions, including new office openings and relocations
- Shape how Modal’s brand and culture show up physically, bringing the same clarity, craft, and attention to detail to our spaces that we bring to our product
- Synthesize data, stakeholder input, and business context into recommendations for continuous improvement
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have 5+ years in workplace, facilities, or office operations, ideally at a high-growth tech company where you built programs rather than inherited them
- You have 2+ years of people management, including leading team members through office moves or openings
- You’ve overseen workplace operations across multiple offices, ideally in more than one country
- You have strong taste and judgment, with an instinct for what looks and feels like Modal
- You have a clear willingness to take a hands-on approach and dive into the details
- You can influence cross-functional partners and translate company strategy into effective local execution
- You thrive in a fast-paced workplace with rapidly changing priorities
- You’re excited to be in an in-office role, collaborating with team members IRL
- You’re willing and able to travel to Modal offices globally
