Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is looking for an ambitious Senior Engineering Manager to join our Disputes team. Our mission is to build the tools, services, and models that help merchants manage and win disputes at scale - reducing the cost and operational burden of chargebacks while protecting revenue for our merchants and our business.
Disputes sit at the intersection of merchant-facing products, complex scheme and regulatory processes, and data-driven decisioning. Our team owns the full stack, anchored by a .NET back end that manages the dispute lifecycle and integrates with card schemes, alongside the front-end experiences merchants use to track and respond to disputes and the machine learning models that predict outcomes and recommend the best action on every case.
We're building for scale, and that scale brings ambiguity, shifting priorities, and the occasional setback - so we're looking for a resilient leader who has built and sustained high-performing teams, learned from failure, and come back stronger. Above all, you'll be someone who drives predictable delivery and operational efficiency: shipping consistently, running systems reliably, and continuously improving how the team works. The ideal candidate has operated across both enterprise and scale-up environments and has a proven track record of driving growth within large, complex, regulated organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team centred on a .NET back end, with front-end and machine learning components, helping engineers establish and validate their understanding of technical architecture and design end-user-centric systems and tools.
- Own predictable, high-velocity delivery — establishing healthy engineering practices, sensible estimation, and a smooth path from idea to production so the team ships consistently and sustainably.
- Drive operational efficiency and reliability by automating processes — including monitoring and alerting — meeting SLAs/SLOs, reducing operational cost, and minimising toil to keep the team focused on high-value work rather t
- Continuously improve delivery and operational metrics (e.g. cycle time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and incident response), using data to identify bottlenecks and raises the bar over time.
- Manage team engineers across various seniority levels and disciplines while staying hands-on when needed. Cultivate an inclusive environment where every team member feels they belong, and mentors them in both their career development and interpersonal skills. Make a good team great, and keep it great..
- Oversee quarterly execution of roadmap delivery, ensuring the team stays focused on the right priorities and manages efficiently through dependencies and cross-functional hurdles.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Operations to deliver solutions for merchant and internal dispute use cases.
- Build and strengthen relationships with engineers, managers, and people leads across multiple teams.
- Operating in a highly regulated financial space, ensure compliance with a range of control frameworks — from internal stakeholders such as InfoSec and Internal
- Audit, to external auditors, card schemes, and regulators.
- Oversee the responsible use of machine learning and AI in dispute decisioning, leading the team to develop the infrastructure, tooling, and governance required to run models safely and at scale in production.
About You
- A resilient leader who has learned from setbacks and failures and consistently comes back stronger, keeping teams steady and delivering through periods of change and ambiguity.
- You thrive on pace. You're energised by a high-growth environment, comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, and you keep the team moving and shipping when priorities shift under you.
- A proven track record of driving predictable delivery and operational efficiency — improving throughput, reliability, and the team's cost of operation, and using metrics to back it up.
- Proven experience building, growing, and sustaining high-performing engineering teams over time — not just standing them up.
- Experience across both enterprise and scale-up environments, with a demonstrated track record of driving growth and delivery within large, complex, regulated organisations.
- A strong back-end engineering background, ideally in .NET / C#, leading teams building scalable, event-driven services and APIs. Comfortable also overseeing front-end and machine learning work, able to earn credibility and make sound trade-offs across disciplines even where you aren't the deepest expert.
- Able to partner with Product Management to assess technical feasibility, provide capacity estimates, and balance new features against architectural health.
- Excellent time management and proactive problem-solving skills.
Technologies we work with
- Back end (primary): .NET / C#, REST APIs, event-driven and microservice architectures.
- Front end: React, TypeScript.
- Machine learning: Python, model training and serving, and the infrastructure to run models in production.
- Data & platform: SQL, plus experience designing batch and stream data-processing systems.
- Cloud & tooling: AWS and/or GCP, Docker, Terraform, and observability tooling such as Datadog.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines is highly beneficial.

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Codeless, our internal Server-Driven UI (SDUI) platform team. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team bridging mobile/web frontend engineering and core platform backend systems.
While this role is deeply rooted in modern UI architecture, its mission goes beyond standard UI development: Codeless empowers product teams across the organization to ship dynamic, native UI experiences dynamically from the backend—eliminating app store release bottlenecks, dramatically accelerating feature iteration, and establishing a unified UI schema across iOS, Android, and Web.
What you’ll be doing
This is a role with broad impact, from hands-on technical guidance to championing web and mobile accessibility across the company. We're looking for a leader who excels at fostering collaboration and can confidently guide a concept from initial idea to robust implementation.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Team Leadership & Strategy:
Build, mentor, and scale an engineering team responsible for our core Server-Driven UI platform ("Codeless"). Foster an inclusive, high-ownership engineering culture.
Platform Architecture & Evolution:
Oversee the design and evolution of dynamic layout engines, declarative UI schemas, and client rendering frameworks across iOS, Android, and Web.
Developer Velocity & Platform Adoption:
Partner with product feature teams to drive internal adoption of Codeless. Ensure the platform provides exceptional Developer Experience, clear tooling, robust design system integration, and seamless debugging workflows.
Technical Execution & Quality:
Set high technical standards for platform performance, payload optimization, caching strategies, backward compatibility, and graceful offline/fallback behavior across client devices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Product Managers, Design System leaders, and Core Infrastructure engineers to align the Codeless roadmap with broader company initiatives and global design paradigms.
What you’ll need to thrive
Engineering Management:
3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, with a track record of coaching engineers, delivering complex platform initiatives, and driving technical strategy.
UI & Platform Domain Expertise:
Strong foundational background in mobile (iOS/Android) or modern web architecture (React, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or declarative UI paradigms).
Product & Platform Mindset:
Ability to treat internal product engineering teams as customers, evaluating platform success through developer velocity, adoption metrics, and rendering performance.
Why join us

We're hiring an E-commerce Operations Associate to support the Brand Managers across our portfolio. This is a heavily operations-focused role: you'll own the systems, reporting, inventory planning, and cross-channel coordination that keep our brands running smoothly day to day across DTC, subscription, and Amazon.
You won't be siloed on one brand. You'll be pointed at whichever brand needs the most operational horsepower at the time, which means you'll see how three very different consumer businesses actually run, and you'll build the judgment to run one yourself.
Think of it as the
#2 seat on a small, fast-moving brand team
. You'll keep operations tight, flag risks before they become problems, and free up the Brand Manager to focus on high-leverage decisions. You won't be siloed on one brand. You'll go wherever the portfolio needs operational horsepower most, so you'll learn in one year what usually takes three.
What You'll Do
Inventory & Operations
Own inventory tracking, demand planning, and reorder cadence across DTC, subscription, and Amazon
Coordinate with suppliers, co-packers, and 3PLs to keep stock flowing and SKUs healthy
Build and maintain daily/weekly reports on sales, performance, and forecasts
Spot risks early and keep the Brand Manager informed
Subscription Operations
Support recurring-revenue operations: cadence, swaps, and upcoming-order management
Forecast subscription and one-time demand together so stock covers both
Report on active subscribers, churn, and retention
Amazon
Run day-to-day Seller Central / Vendor Central operations: listings, inventory, and case management
Monitor Buy Box, listing health, reviews, and account performance
Support advertising operations, promotions, and FBA inbound planning
Project Management & Marketing Support
Own task management and coordination across multiple brands at once
Help plan and execute product launches and campaigns
Coordinate influencer partnerships, draft social/email content and creative briefs, and QA landing pages and ads
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics, ideally at a consumer brand, 3PL, or manufacturer
Real inventory experience: reorder points, lead times, safety stock, sell-through, SKU-level health
Demand planning skills: building forecasts, sizing POs, balancing stock across channels
Experience managing vendors such as suppliers, co-packers, 3PLs, or freight forwarders
Comfort with ops systems: inventory platforms (Cin7, NetSuite, or similar), 3PL portals, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, subscription tools (Recharge, Skio, or similar), and heavy spreadsheet work
Strong written and verbal English
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed. You see what needs to happen and you do it
Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously across more than one brand at a time
Benefits
A real seat at the table.
You'll do meaningful work with visibility, not busywork.
Three businesses, not one.
You'll get broad, fast learning across very different categories.
Early-stage opportunity.
If you join now, you'll grow with the platform and get opportunities that won't exist later.

We are seeking a senior litigator from a leading Greek law firm or an in-house legal function, with 8+ years' post-qualification experience and strong expertise in public procurement litigation. The ideal candidate combines courtroom experience with a preventive, commercially minded approach, and can protect the group's interests in competitive tender processes while keeping disputes to a minimum. You will join a dynamic, fast-growing GovTech business that bids for and delivers contracts for EU institutions and national public authorities across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the group's senior authority on dispute resolution, setting strategy and overseeing any litigation, arbitration or administrative proceedings involving ED's entities across jurisdictions.
Protect ED's position in public tenders: assess procurement decisions and, where appropriate, pursue or defend challenges before national review bodies, the Greek administrative courts and Council of State, and the EU General Court.
Advise senior management and bid teams at key tender milestones (evaluation, award, standstill) so decisions to challenge, intervene or defend are well founded and proportionate.
Prevent disputes by strengthening tender submissions, contract terms, and consortium and teaming agreements, drawing on procurement and litigation insight.
Resolve contractual issues with clients, subcontractors and consortium partners early, favouring negotiated outcomes that protect long-term relationships.
Select and manage external counsel in Greece, Luxembourg, Belgium and other jurisdictions when needed, ensuring strategy alignment and cost control.
Provide the CEO and the Board with clear, periodic reporting on legal risk and exposure, and give input to Finance where relevant.
Guide and support the in-house disputes team, promoting consistent quality and sound judgement.
Advise on contractual risk in EU institutional and public sector framework contracts, and support compliance, governance and M&A due diligence as required.
Requirements
LLB/LLM and qualification to practise law in Greece (member of the Athens Bar Association or equivalent); rights of audience before the higher courts preferred.
8+ years' experience in litigation and dispute resolution at a recognised Greek law firm or a comparable in-house role, with substantial public procurement litigation experience.
Strong knowledge of national procurement review procedures and EU public procurement law, including the EU Directives and the EU Financial Regulation rules for procurement by EU institutions; experience before the EU courts is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to assess legal risk proportionately, manage external counsel and budgets, and communicate clearly with senior management and boards.
Experience guiding or mentoring other lawyers.
Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential; French or other European languages are a strong plus.
Sound judgement, independence and the ability to work across multiple jurisdictions.
Commercial mindset, with a preference for practical, preventive solutions over adversarial ones.

ABOUT CLIPBOARD
Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.
Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/ and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.
OVERVIEW
📍 Remote Global - Non U.S.
Want to sit at the intersection of Support, Engineering, and Product? Clipboard is hiring Technical Support Engineers (TSEs) to act as the primary escalation layer for technical issues across our platform. You'll own the investigation, reproduction, and - where applicable- agent-assisted fix implementation that turns noisy customer reports into validated, high-signal work, so Engineering only receives production-ready problems for final review.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for people who love digging into hard problems with real diagnostic tools, who care about getting to the root cause rather than just clearing a queue, and who want their investigations to directly protect platform reliability for hundreds of thousands of healthcare workers and the facilities that depend on them.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Monitor escalation channels and the Technical Support queue in Zendesk, catching early signals of systemic problems before they reach customers
- Investigate complex product, platform, and data-layer issues using tools like Datadog, internal dashboards, and SQL, reproducing bugs and producing evidence-backed escalations to Engineering.
- Handle live incidents end-to-end, from detection to closure: React to an incident with urgency, coordinate across Support, Engineering, and Product, and keep stakeholders updated with clear, structured communication
- Implement fixes where appropriate, testing your changes before handing off to Engineering for final review and sign-off
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and post-incident reviews, translating each issue into learnings that reduce recurrence and improve monitoring
- Maintain operational workflows (geofence, facility quizzes, NFC) accurately and quickly while spotting trends for prevention
- Capture investigative learnings in clear troubleshooting guides and documentation, and submit structured proposals that turn recurring patterns into actionable improvements
- Uphold our values such as unreasonably fast, ownership, and uncomfortably high standards in every interaction
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Technical Fluency - You're comfortable investigating issues with observability tools (e.g., Datadog), writing SQL to interrogate data, and reasoning about APIs, backend configurations, and feature toggles. You can tell the difference between a UI, data, and code-level problem.
- Diagnostic Rigor - Every investigation you produce is thorough, evidence-based, and reproducible. You rule out config and data causes before escalating, and your write-ups are clear enough for another engineer to pick up without rework.
- End-to-End Ownership - You own problems from first report to confirmed resolution, including stakeholder updates and follow-through, with no gaps between hand-offs.
- Composure Under Pressure - You stay structured and calm during live incidents, balancing speed with accuracy and communicating clearly when stakes are high.
- Adaptability & Prioritization - You juggle structured work (incidents, bugs, workflows) with unplanned high-priority requests without letting SLAs slip.
- Systems & Prevention Thinking - You treat every issue as a chance to learn, identifying gaps in monitoring, tooling, or process and proposing fixes that prevent recurrence.
- Fluent, professional-level English communication, both written and verbal.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with observability and analytics tooling (Datadog, Sentry, Snowflake, or similar)
- Familiarity with SQL and reading application logs
- Background in technical support, SRE, incident response, or a related engineering-adjacent function
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding/agent tooling
- Experience in Ops, Support, or CX environments at scale

Build cross-discipline relationships across IDEO in order to effectively help generate and capture written, verbal and visual input from IDEO leadership and design teams to potential client leads.
Cultivate your internal networks as well as you professional networks virtually on social media channels and live at education and industry-related associations.
Support top-of-funnel growth activity including working with the Executive Director of Growth, Marketing and portfolio teams to translate targeting priorities into actionable prospect audiences and lists for campaigns, events, roadshows and other market-facing activity.
