1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Developers build trust in a company through the people they meet and the experiences they have with it. We’re looking for someone to shape those experiences for 1Password.
You’ll lead our developer events and in-person community strategy: choosing where we show up, creating gatherings worth returning to, and building relationships that continue after everyone leaves the room. You’ll own the strategy and the details, from deciding whether a conference is worth the investment to welcoming developers at an event you helped produce.
You’ll start with San Francisco and New York City and help expand the program to other cities over time.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within the US, with a preference for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.
What you can expect:
- Shape our events strategy. Build a thoughtful calendar of conferences, meetups, and 1Password-hosted events. Recommend where we should sponsor, speak, participate, or host our own gathering.
- Own conference and sponsorship decisions. Evaluate opportunities, manage organizer relationships and budgets, partner with our events team on execution, and use results to guide future investment.
- Create developer events people want to attend. Plan and run meetups, workshops, dinners, and other gatherings. Own the experience from format and speakers through venue, invitations, and on-site execution.
- Build community between events. Create ways for developers to stay connected, return, contribute, and bring others in. Treat each event as the beginning of a relationship.
- Show up in person. Be an active host and 1Password representative. You’re comfortable handling the practical details on site and having substantive conversations with developers.
- Connect events to the broader DevRel program. Partner with our Principal Developer Advocate on talks, technical content, and experiences that give developers a reason to engage.
- Work closely with marketing and sales. Build useful follow-up paths, share what you’re learning from the community, and measure how events contribute to relationships, adoption, and pipeline.
- Tell the story as it happens. Capture photos, short videos, and takeaways that help extend the reach of our events on LinkedIn and X.
What we're looking for:
- Experience building developer events or communities, ideally at a developer tools, infrastructure, or technology company.
- A track record of growing an engaged community, beyond increasing registrations or attendance.
- Strong event production skills. You know how to make an event feel welcoming, useful, and well run, and you can handle the unexpected on site.
- Experience managing sponsorships, vendors, and budgets, with sound judgment about where to invest.
- Comfort working with developer advocates, marketing, and sales to turn in-person engagement into lasting relationships.
- Strong relationships and communication skills with developers, organizers, speakers, partners, and internal teams.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize well, and travel as the program grows.
Bonus points if you have existing relationships in the San Francisco or New York developer communities, or experience working in security, identity, or infrastructure.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $133,000 USD and $186,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.

We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of modern AI technology, policy, and ethics. You will design and implement technical governance frameworks, guidelines, and best practices that support responsible AI innovation across the organization. You will identify and assess potential risks, conduct technical and business evaluations, and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to embed responsible AI principles into product development lifecycles, adapting to AI-enabled and agentic systems in particular, and identifying where AI-specific guidance or risk mitigations are needed.
This is a highly collaborative role working across engineering, product, information security, legal, and business teams to ensure AI initiatives align with regulatory requirements and SIE’s broader strategic goals. Experiment hands-on with emerging AI capabilities, including agents, MCP servers, tool integrations, APIs, and evaluation frameworks, to understand their capabilities and risks and translate findings into practical governance guidance
Sit on relevant domain boards as a technical specialist, partnering closely with Product and Engineering
Conduct ethical and safety risk assessments, advising teams on mitigation strategies related to bias, fairness, robustness, transparency, and societal impact
Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, online safety and more, to proactively identify unintended consequences and emerging risks of AI

Workplace: Hybrid
OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Taxfix does not have a dedicated brand owner at group level today. We need someone who can set brand strategy for the group, hold the organisation to it, and personally run the work that brings it to life. This is not a strategist role with execution handed off to others. This is also not a job purely about ATL campaigns. You will cover a broad set of responsibilities in a hands on way, with a small team around you. You will have a very large amount of influence on the direction of our services and need to be comfortable working with product and marketing teams.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Brand strategy and positioning for the group across product, marketing, operations. Strategy is kept current as the market and the business change.
- Brand in the product, partnering with product and product marketing so brand shows up consistently in onboarding, in-product moments and lifecycle messaging.
- Product vision contributions including a brand perspective for roadmap and product strategy conversations.
- ATL strategy, planned and produced together with the in-house creative studio.
- End-to-end ATL campaigns, run autonomously from brief through concept, production, media and measurement.
- Brand research, initiated and run on your own initiative, so positioning and creative decisions rest on real customer and market data.
- Brand accountability, holding every team that touches the customer to our brand values, positioning and look & feel.
- Brand systems: The context, guidelines, examples that are consumed by AI agents by the rest of the company so they can be on-brand.
YOUR PROFILE
- You feel like the following applies to you: You have high standards and can switch off your ego, you have high agency, you followup & follow through, you are a self-starter, you improve yourself proactively, you want to learn, you are an excellent communicator across very diverse groups of people, you are analytical and can explain both your logic and your intuition. If most of these do not apply to you then you will not enjoy this role. If most do and you are not sure: Apply.
- 5+ years in brand, hands-on - you've made and run projects yourself, not just briefed people who did.
- A strong, current read on the market and category, with a record of turning that into decisions, built through real partnership with product and marketing as a peer
- German, native or fully fluent, comfortable working in English
- Built for a small team, self-directed, and you do a large share of the work yourself rather than only directing it.
- Direct and candid, with strong opinions loosely held, you say what you think, back it with reasoning, and change your mind when the evidence says so, without needing to be right
- You have interest in service design and how services provided by people and software come together in delightful user experiences.
- Sharp creative judgment and comfortable using AI across your workflow - research, drafting, production, with craft and taste always leading, never replaced by the tool; you know how AI is reshaping brand work and use it to get more out of a small team, not just to work faster
- A balance of rigor (data, measurement) with instinct, customer empathy and creative taste, earned somewhere you had to prove brand's value to product and performance teams, not just brand peers
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.
Excited? So are we. Check out our Life at Taxfix https://www.linkedin.com/company/taxfix/life/8684512c-424f-44de-8d07-6e6b516e3319/?viewAsMember=true page on LinkedIn to get a glimpse of our culture.
At Taxfix, we believe that incredible things happen when you have a wealth of perspectives and experiences. We're proudly committed to equal employment and development opportunities no matter your gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, colour, disability, or place of origin. To help mitigate any potential unconscious biases, we ask that you refrain from including your picture, age, or marital status on your CV. Let your experiences speak for themselves.
Not sure if you meet all the requirements for this role? Please apply anyway. You might bring something special to the team that we hadn't considered previously.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote opportunity, and we would be interested in applicants located in the US or Canada.
The Opportunity:
At Grafana Labs, we build observability tools that help users understand, respond to, and improve their systems – regardless of scale, complexity, or tech stack. We recently started a skunkworks initiative with a mission to bring observability to the rest of the business. Our goal is to make Grafana the single best place where humans and AI agents understand and act on real-time data from across the enterprise. As part of this initiative, we are building an AI-native data intelligence system that gives agents reliable, governed access to enterprise context. This system helps agents retrieve the right data, metadata, definitions, lineage, quality signals, and institutional knowledge without every agent builder having to maintain their own brittle context files. The principle is simple: the context system retrieves, agents decide, and data teams maintain the intelligence.
The new team is a mix of seasoned Grafanistas and new hires. We operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, both as individuals and as a team. Engineers are empowered to make decisions, move quickly, and validate ideas early – while being supported by a deeply collaborative culture that values curiosity, feedback, and cross-functional partnership.
We’re looking for a Senior Software (Database) Engineer to help build the underlying storage system for our general purpose data platform. The database layer has both OLAP and OTLP capabilities to support classic analytics queries while also serving up freshly stored data. It embraces the separation of compute and storage and is designed to run on multiple cloud providers. This is an early-stage role on a high-autonomy team, so you should be comfortable working through ambiguity, making pragmatic architectural decisions, and building systems that can evolve from internal dogfooding to production-grade SaaS. As the team matures, there’s a broad opportunity to expand or redefine this role based on impact and initiative.
What You'll Be Doing:
Take ownership over and build one or multiple parts of the database: Design, implement, test, and operate ingestion, query planning, distributed query execution, data formats, storage formats.
Create a scalable SaaS foundation: Help define and build the architecture for a multi-tenant database service, including tenant isolation, usage tracking, quotas, audit logs, background jobs, and reliable service boundaries.
Power agent-facing retrieval workflows: Build APIs and database interfaces that allow AI agents, MCP tools, CLIs, and internal applications to retrieve data quickly.
Work across product and infrastructure: Partner with the team to make practical tradeoffs between fast experimentation and long-term reliability, especially as the project moves from prototype to production.
Operate what you build: Instrument database services with metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards. Use observability tools to understand system behavior and improve reliability.
Contribute to technical direction: Help shape the architecture, service boundaries, storage choices, API contracts, deployment patterns, and engineering practices for a new product area.
Effective communication: You’ll be working in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment, so we need someone who can communicate effectively and contribute across teams.
Ownership and impact: Take full ownership of the database solutions you develop, ensuring they are not only innovative but also scalable, maintainable, and aligned with real user workflows.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Strong engineering skills: Solid experience building production-grade, user-facing software systems. You’re a self-starter, capable of tackling complex engineering problems and making design decisions with minimal supervision.
AI experience with a practical mindset: You’re familiar with AI technologies and frameworks, and you focus on delivering high-quality solutions that work in the real world, not just in theory.
Quick iteration and experimentation: You’re comfortable releasing prototypes, collecting feedback, and iterating with a pragmatic mindset.
Proven initiative: You take ownership and drive projects forward, pushing boundaries to find the most impactful solutions. You can deal with ambiguity and are able to define scope where things are loosely defined.
Collaborative attitude: You communicate effectively with your peers. You’re open to feedback, and you bring a solutions-oriented mindset to the table.
Experience with distributed systems, catalogs and table formats, query engines.
Mastery of a programming language like golang, C++, or Rust
Proven track record of delivering software that made it into production and is actively used by users.
Exposure to working in cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience using observability tools to understand and troubleshoot system behavior.
Bonus Points for:
Experience building distributed query engines.
Experience building data warehouses and/or data lakes.
Experience building tools for data engineering.
How we work:
We are a remote-first team that meets regularly over video and does most of our work asynchronously, in writing. We value creativity, diverse perspectives, and clear communication. Tempo is relied upon by prominent global organizations to monitor critical applications and infrastructure, and we expect everyone on the team, including our Staff engineers, to contribute ideas that make it a more reliable, more useful, and more loved product.
Compensation & Rewards:
In Canada, the Base compensation range for this role is $
164,490 - $197,389.
Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success. We believe in shared outcomes—RSUs help us stay aligned and invested as we scale globally.
*Compensation ranges are country specific. If you are applying for this role from a different location than listed above, your recruiter will discuss your specific market’s defined pay range & benefits at the beginning of the process.

Why Sony Interactive Entertainment?
Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
Are you a curiosity driven technologist who can quickly understand how an AI system works, identify where it could be misused or fail, and help a team find a practical path forward? Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior AI Security Risk Analyst to provide hands-on security support for AI systems, agents, workflows, tools, and integrations across SIE.
Role Summary:
In this role, you will operate at the intersection of modern AI technology, security risk, architecture, and enablement. You will conduct AI security reviews using SIE’s established security risk assessment methodology, policies, standards, and control expectations, adapting their application to AI-enabled and agentic systems and identifying where AI-specific guidance or controls are needed. You will coordinate risk-focused design and architecture input and translate AI-specific weaknesses into decision-ready recommendations and engineering actions.
You will serve as an approachable security partner, working cross-functionally with teams across SIE’s business units and functions to support a diverse range of AI use cases, systems, and technologies. You will work especially closely with Responsible AI & Governance and coordinate expertise across Information Security teams and IT & Engineering organizations.
This is a highly collaborative, fast-moving role for someone who enjoys working directly with teams, navigating ambiguity, and using AI tools themselves. You will be the primary hands-on practitioner in an emerging AI Security capability, partnering with the AI Security strategy lead and specialist teams across SIE.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead hands-on security risk reviews of AI use cases and systems from early design through launch readiness.
Assess end-to-end designs to identify material security risks, control gaps, data lineage and classification, and operational concerns.
Translate findings into practical, risk-based recommendations and partner with stakeholders to track resolution.
Serve as a trusted security partner by providing early consultation, education, and reusable guidance.
Coordinate with Responsible AI & Governance, relevant security and technical teams to deliver consistent, well-informed reviews.
Use security tooling and discovery insights to identify emerging risks, engage owners, and support appropriate remediation. Document reviews and findings within SIE GRC systems.
Improve AI security requirements, review practices, reference patterns, and supporting tools as technologies and risks evolve.
Track portfolio trends, communicate significant risks and recurring gaps, and escalate matters requiring additional expertise or risk authority.
What We’re Looking For:
6+ years of experience building, integrating, assessing, or securing technical systems, including significant recent hands-on work with generative AI.
Strong working knowledge of modern AI application stacks and the ability to interrogate designs, trace data and system interactions, and identify meaningful security weaknesses.
Sound understanding of security fundamentals - including identity, permissions, data protection, integrations, and monitoring – and ability to apply these to AI-enabled and agentic systems as well as mapping back to existing security policies and frameworks.
A practical builder mindset, with experience using AI tools, APIs, cloud services, code, or automation to explore systems and improve workflows.
Proven ability to build trust and influence across engineering, product, creative, business, and security teams.
Familiarity and ability to stay current with emerging AI technologies, evolving security risks, AI risk frameworks, and industry trends.
Strong communication, empathy, and sound judgment, with the creativity to challenge assumptions, navigate ambiguity, and build trust while operating independently in a fast-moving environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Desirable:
Experience with AI red teaming, adversarial testing, threat modeling, or security evaluations of LLM and agentic systems.
Experience with cloud-based AI platforms, third-party AI services, or enterprise security tooling.
Experience in gaming, interactive entertainment, creator technology, or similarly innovative product environments.
Experience reviewing complex technical designs and translating identified weaknesses into practical, prioritized recommendations that support timely delivery.
Relevant certifications are desirable and may include GIAC AI Platform Security (GAIPS), CISSP, CRISC, IAPP AI Governance Professional (AIGP), CCSK, CCSP, or equivalent AI, cloud, or security credentials.
