Own execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives across ML, experimentation, and data platform domains.
Lead 2–3 high-priority initiatives during the first 3 months: define scope, align stakeholders, establish ownership, and drive delivery to measurable outcomes.
Ensure predictable execution through clear planning, coordination, and delivery management.
Unblock stalled or ambiguous projects by clarifying ownership, resolving dependencies, escalating risks early, and driving initiatives through completion.
Build and operate an effective execution framework: monthly business reviews, quarterly planning, retrospectives, project reviews, and escalation processes.
Establish a single source of truth for project status, risks, commitments, and delivery tracking.
Improve the experimentation ecosystem by increasing decision-making speed, standardizing evaluation and rollout processes, and reducing operational chaos/manual work.
Accelerate ML delivery cycles by reducing time from idea → experiment → production and coordinating dependencies across ML, backend, analytics, and product teams.
Ensure ML initiatives deliver measurable business impact, not only technical outcomes.
Strengthen functional leads (Product Analytics, Data Engineering, ML, UX) through prioritization support, execution discipline, feedback, and managerial coaching.
Increase ownership, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration across teams.
Own operational excellence of the function, including data freshness, uptime, SLA adherence, and delivery predictability.

Familiarity with data platforms, data quality management, SLA processes, and self-service BI/analytics.
Strong execution skills: project decomposition, planning, prioritization, and delivery management.
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across ML, backend, product, and analytics functions.
Experience managing risks, dependencies, escalations, and multiple parallel initiatives.
High technical literacy with the ability to dive deep into data and ML topics, understand system constraints, and work closely with engineering and data teams.
Strong English and Russian communication skills, both written and verbal.

Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
The Senior Director of Product Management for Developer & AI will lead product strategy and execution across one of 1Password’s most future-defining portfolios. This role spans our Developer Experience (DevX) products, Security for AI, and AI for Security initiatives, as well as the product surface area that supports standards adoption and developer engagement.
Reporting to the VP of Developer & AI Engineering, this leader will be responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap, and outcomes for how developers and AI-powered systems securely interact with 1Password—from local development and secrets management, to programmatic agent access, to secure runtime environments.
This role requires deep partnership with engineering, design, marketing, partnerships, and GTM teams, and leadership of a senior group of product managers operating across highly technical, platform-oriented problem spaces.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years in product management, including 5+ years leading senior PMs or product portfolios.
- Experience owning platform, developer-facing, or infrastructure products strongly preferred.
- Track record of shipping impactful developer tools, platforms, or security products used by large or fast-growing audiences.
- Strong familiarity with the modern AI landscape, including LLMs, orchestration frameworks, and agentic workflows.
- Ability to reason about AI capabilities and limitations through a product and customer lens.
- Solid understanding of modern security concepts such as identity, secrets management, access control, and secure system design.
- Comfort operating in highly technical problem spaces alongside senior engineers.
- Ability to connect long-term product vision with near-term priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Experience balancing discovery, delivery, and platform investment.
- Demonstrated success partnering deeply with engineering, design, marketing, and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
What you can expect:
- Set and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for 1Password’s Developer Experience, AI security, and AI-powered security initiatives.
- Ensure clear articulation of customer problems, value propositions, and success metrics across the portfolio.
- Lead product definition for secure, agentic workflows including identity, delegation, secrets delivery, and access control for both developers and AI agents.
- Translate emerging AI capabilities and risks into durable, differentiated product primitives.
- Work in lockstep with the VP of Developer & AI Engineering to align product strategy with technical vision, architecture, and delivery.
- Enable strong product-engineering collaboration that balances innovation, speed, and long-term platform integrity.
- Partner with Marketing, Partnerships, Security, and GTM teams to ensure successful launches, platform integrations, and ecosystem adoption.
- Represent product strategy internally and externally, ensuring consistency across messaging, documentation, and developer engagement.
- Provide product leadership and input into standards participation and developer advocacy efforts, ensuring standards work is grounded in real customer needs and product direction.
- Help position 1Password as a trusted product leader in the AI and security ecosystem.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead senior product managers working across complex, technical domains.
- Establish product operating rhythms, decision-making frameworks, and outcome-oriented metrics.

Work with Global and Regional Sales and Services leaders to evaluate strategic opportunities and/or transformational initiatives; New market evaluation, M&A integration, vertical planning, pricing, etc.
Become an expert in how our GTM data is captured, how it ties to underlying business processes, and how it impacts key metrics and reports.
Identify operational gaps in our reporting capabilities and/or inefficiencies in the planning process. Work with Analytics and Business Systems teams to build scalable solutions.
Help create the connective tissue across our internal stakeholders: Revenue Operations, Marketing, Finance, Data, and GTM leadership
Build scalable, self-service planning processes that improve consistency and reduce manual coordination across teams.
Advise GTM leadership on market segmentation, vertical performance, pricing scenarios, and territory strategy, presenting clear recommendations and tradeoffs.
Partner with Finance to align consumption-based revenue scenarios with workforce budgets and financial targets, reviewing performance and recommending adjustments as usage trends change.
Set priorities for the planning function and lead cross-functional initiatives with Data and Field Ops to close gaps in reporting and planning infrastructure.
Identify and implement AI-assisted approaches to consumption analysis, scenario development, and recurring reporting, partnering with data to validate results and improve planning efficiency.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
8+ years in GTM strategy and operations, sales planning, revenue operations, consulting, or a related analytical field, including experience leading a planning function or major cross-functional programs.
Demonstrated track record of strategic thinking and analysis--seeing over the horizon to identify opportunities, envision models, and strategic paths to capture opportunities, as well as spot emerging risks
Strong modeling and analytical skills – comfort with complex segmentation analysis and workforce planning
Excellent communication skills with executive audiences - explain “what it is”, “why it matters” and “what should we do” in terms of your data and analysis
Experience owning GTM planning through significant ARR and headcount growth at a SaaS company of comparable scale and complexity, including evolving capacity models, coverage strategies, and planning processes as the organization expands.
Experience in a Sales or GTM organization, and familiarity with common sales methodologies (MEDDPICC or MEDDIC) and models ( rep productivity, rep capacity, campaign influence, and quota modeling)
High comfort with ambiguity. You identify the right priorities and put in the hard work without need for external motivation

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE TEAM
Mistral is building a sovereign AI cloud for Europe. Our customers in finance, healthcare, and the public sector run frontier models on European-jurisdiction infrastructure, and the Cloud Platform team builds the systems that make that possible — compute orchestration, Kubernetes, bare metal, storage, networking, and the datacenter fleet that runs it all.
We run it all on our own metal, our own network, our own datacenters — which means when something breaks, the fix is ours to write.
European Compute Units let enterprises commit to multi-year capacity on that infrastructure, and we are scaling toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe by 2030. You will design and ship the layer every sovereign AI deployment depends on and shape the team building it.
THE ROLE
Agents don't run in browsers. They run in sandboxes — and you will lead the team building ours.
You will manage the team — hiring, coaching, performance, growth paths, honest feedback — while staying close to the code: roughly half your time in architecture decisions and the hardest technical problems the team faces, the other half leading your squad.
We build secure, isolated, network-controlled environments with snapshotting primitives, designed for AI agents and reinforcement-learning workloads. An RL training run doesn't need one environment; it needs thousands, created and destroyed every second. An agent needs to be sandboxed from the world while still feeling fast enough to be useful. That tension — airtight isolation, at fleet scale, at low latency — is the product.
Your customers are the people building the next generation of AI software on our infrastructure; the primitives you ship become the runtime their agents live in.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build the isolation layer: microVMs or containers, namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, snapshot and restore.
- Own the security boundary. Customers run code they didn't write and can't fully trust — your systems make that safe.
- Scale to fleets: creation latency, density, and lifecycle management for thousands of concurrent environments.
- Design and build alongside your team, owning the architecture and the hardest implementation decisions.
- Grow the engineers, not just the software — set the standard for ownership and coach people past their comfort zone.
- Own people management for the team: hiring, performance, growth paths, and honest feedback.
- Partner with Product Managers to turn frontier research needs into shippable primitives.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of real people leadership. You have managed engineers — hired, coached, given honest feedback, and grown them. Hands-on contribution matters here, but this role is judged on the team you build and lead, not just the code you write.
- Deep Linux internals: namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, virtualization — ideally microVMs of the Firecracker class.
- You have shipped production systems in Go. Not dabbled. Shipped.
- You understand network isolation at the packet level — not just firewall rules.
- Performance instincts: you know what a syscall costs, and you have the profiles to prove you've cared.
- 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems.
- You have partnered with product, design, and business teams to ship software that reached real users.
- A low-ego, team-first mindset. We care less about your exact domain and more about whether you are the kind of technical force other engineers want to work alongside.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

Partner & Bank Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for partners and banks to resolve processing issues, file-loading discrepancies, and data reporting corrections.
SAR & PDP Reconciliation:
Troubleshoot SAR reconciliation issues, including unmatched transactions, missing/duplicate report data, and platform data mismatches.
Releases & Deployment:
Coordinate, execute, and roll back service releases, verifying post-release system health and performance graphs.
What You Bring to the Team:
Problem-solving mindset
with the drive to investigate novel issues and determine solution steps independently
Technical Troubleshooting:
Practical experience using SQL for data querying, alongside Postman to read API documentation and debug partner integrations.

YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have experience supporting a CEO, founder, or senior executive in a startup or scale-up environment.
