ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
THE ROLE
Docker is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build AI-powered developer tools and the platform behind them on our AI Developer Tools team. You will work at the intersection of AI, developer experience, and platform engineering, building tools that make Docker's engineers more productive and the platform that lets teams across Docker prototype, deploy, and scale their own AI developer tools.
As a Senior Engineer you will design, build, and operate:
- AI-Powered Developer Tools. AI agents and tools that accelerate developer productivity, surface observability insights, and automate operational reviews. You will help teams adopt an AI-native way of working and speed up adoption of tools such as Claude Code and Codex. Examples include AI-powered code review and refactoring assistants, automated test generators and local environment setup tools, deployment pipeline diagnostic agents, and agents that simplify on-call work during incidents.
- Self-Service AI Developer Tools Platform. Platform infrastructure that lets product and platform teams across Docker unblock themselves by prototyping, building, and deploying their own AI developer tools, using the patterns and standards the team sets.
You will report to the Senior Manager, AI Developer Tools, and work closely with the team's Principal and Staff engineers, product engineering teams, and platform teams across Docker.
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT WOULD MAKE SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
You are a strong, hands-on engineer who enjoys building at the intersection of AI, developer experience, and platform engineering. You have built software on top of LLMs and AI agents and have a good sense of what works in practice. You care about the people using your tools, and you can tell a tool developers love from one they put up with. You take a feature from a vague request to production: you ask the right questions about requirements, design it sensibly, ship it iteratively, and operate it afterward. You are comfortable in a fast-moving AI landscape and balance quality with pragmatism. You make the engineers around you better through thoughtful code review and by sharing what you learn.

THE ROLE
Docker is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to set the technical direction for key parts of our AI Developer Tools team. You will work at the intersection of AI, developer experience, and platform engineering, building the AI-powered tools and the platform that let teams across Docker prototype, deploy, and scale their own AI developer tools.
As a Staff Engineer you will own the technical design and delivery for two areas:
- AI-Powered Developer Tools. Design and build AI agents and tools that accelerate developer productivity, surface observability insights, and automate operational reviews.
Design and build the platform infrastructure that lets product and platform teams across Docker unblock themselves by prototyping, building, and deploying their own AI developer tools. You will set the patterns and standards that let teams experiment, iterate quickly, and graduate successful prototypes into production-ready services.
You will report to the Senior Manager, AI Developer Tools, and work closely with the team's Principal engineers, engineering leadership, product engineering teams, and platform teams across Docker.
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT WOULD MAKE SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
You are a hands-on technical leader who works well at the intersection of AI, developer experience, and platform engineering. You have clear opinions about what makes a developer tool good, and sound judgment about when to build, when to integrate, and when not to do either. You are comfortable in a fast-moving AI landscape and balance technical quality with shipping iteratively. Before you design, you ask about scale, users, and constraints rather than assuming them. You lead through influence and mentorship, and the engineers around you get better because you are on the team.
_______________________________________________________________________
RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP AND ARCHITECTURE
- Set technical direction and own the architecture for AI-powered developer tools and the self-service platform within the team's roadmap
- Turn ambiguous problems into clear requirements, plans, and staged decisions. Ask about scale, users, and constraints before designing, and write down your assumptions

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Our Global Food Safety team exists to keep Wolt’s operations safe, compliant, and trusted across every market we’re in. We partner closely with the business on growth and operational excellence initiatives, building customer trust through clear standards, data-driven improvements, and food safety programmes that actually hold up on the ground.
We’re looking for an Associate Manager, Food Safety to help us build and run these programmes across our European markets. You’ll work closely with operations, legal, policy, and frontline teams to protect our customers and partners, and to keep our sites compliant as we grow. Expect regular travel across our European locations.
What you’ll be doing
This is a hands-on role that blends policy work with real, on-the-ground problem-solving. You’ll partner with country and area leaders, support external audits, and help translate global food safety standards into steps that actually work locally.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Partner with country and area leaders to manage food safety compliance and find pragmatic solutions to emerging risks.
Support our external audit programme, coordinating schedules with third-party auditors and local food authorities.
Help develop and maintain our global food safety policies, procedures, and HACCP plans, translating them into concrete steps at country level.
Handle food safety issues, enquiries, and product recalls, guiding country and site teams through execution and customer communication.
Work with Legal and Policy to keep us ahead of food safety regulations across our European markets.
Track compliance metrics and use the data to spot trends and drive improvements
Our humble expectations*
Formal food safety qualification (e.g. Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health), or equivalent hands-on experience.
5+ years of progressive food safety or regulatory compliance experience in hospitality, retail, quick commerce, or manufacturing.
Strong working knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, IFS, or BRC.
Proven experience managing food safety programmes across multi-country, multi-unit operations, with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
Proven track record conducting internal/external audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses, with the ability to drive follow-up actions that deliver real compliance improvement.
Experience implementing policies and procedures in response to new business initiatives or evolving risk environments.
Fluent in English, given the multi-country scope of this role.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly across our European markets.
What we offer
The chance to build and shape food safety practices across a fast-growing set of European markets, with real ownership over how you get there.
A seat on a collaborative, supportive global team genuinely invested in your growth as a leader.
Cross-functional exposure — you’ll work directly with legal, policy, ops, and country teams, not from behind a desk.
Next steps*
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If shortlisted, you’ll start with a screening call with our Talent Acquisition Partner, followed by an interview with the hiring team, a short take-home assignment, and a final debrief. We aim to move quickly and will keep you posted throughout.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.

Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
We’re looking for a high-ownership self-starter who can originate, structure, and close strategic partnerships that drive measurable revenue impact. Our ideal candidate is an operator with strong drive and bias for action - they move fast, take on meaningful challenges, and are recognized for the impact they deliver. At Checkout.com, ambition and the quality work done gets met with opportunity, and growth is in your hands.
We view partnerships as a core growth engine for Checkout.com - not a support function.
This role exists to turn partnerships into a repeatable, scalable revenue channel through disciplined execution, strong commercial instinct, and relentless ownership.
What you’ll be accountable for
1. Deal Origination & Ownership
- Source and develop high-impact partnerships (including but not limited to advisories/consultants, ISVs/fintechs, SIs and agencies) to go deep with.
- Lead end-to-end partnership cycle: from first conversation → commercial structuring → negotiation → signature → go-live
- Own pipeline generation and progression, through collaboration with Sales Managers for different product pillars.
- Drive clear commercial outcomes: sourced / influenced revenue, pipeline contribution, conversion, partner growth and profitability.
2. Commercial Structuring & Negotiation
- Design scalable partnership models with provided guidance (referral, reseller, embedded)
- Navigate partner negotiations across commercial, legal, and operational dimensions
- Balance short-term revenue vs long-term strategic positioning within your portfolio, be able to forecast and plan ahead
- Operate with precision - all numbers, assumptions, and deal logic must be bulletproof
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the single-threaded owner across Sales, Legal, Product, Partner Engineering, and Marketing.
- Drive momentum and remove blockers - you own the outcome of the partnerships in your portfolio.
- Ensure internal alignment and readiness for launch (onboarding, integration, enablement, GTM)
4. Partner Performance & Revenue Delivery
- You’ll get recognized on partnerships converting into live merchants and revenue, not pipeline logos
- Track and manage performance against targets (Net Revenue, Total Processed Volume, Product Penetration, Conversion Rate, etc.)
- Identify and execute on growth levers, solo or in collaboration with the team (e.g. joint GTM, integration optimisation)
5. Operational Excellence
- Maintain high standards of forecasting accuracy, CRM hygiene, and reporting
- Contribute to building repeatable frameworks (tiering, integration health, GTM motions)
- Raise the bar on quality of output across the team - every deliverable has meaning.
What “good” looks like in this role
- You own your number - and consistently deliver against it
- You operate with speed and clarity, even in ambiguity
- You don’t wait for direction - you create momentum
- You can go from strategy → execution → revenue, without dropping the thread
- You build credible relationships externally and internally, and know how to leverage both to close deals
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic sales in payments / fintech / SaaS / platforms
- Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals is a plus
- Experience structuring commercial models (rev share, reseller, embedded partnerships)
SKILLSET
- Strong commercial acumen - understands what drives revenue and margin
- Solid negotiation skills - can hold ground while progressing deals
- Ability to operate in cross-functional, high-ambiguity environments
- High attention to detail - no room for approximation
MINDSET
- Owner mentality - accountability without excuses
- Performance-driven - focused on outcomes, not activity
- Low ego, high standards - direct, constructive, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable being challenged - and challenging back when needed
