BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE
Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $155 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Financial Risk team is responsible for protecting Wealthsimple and its clients from fraud while enabling safe, fast, and scalable money movement. We own the Decision Platform — a real-time rules engine that processes streaming data to make fraud decisions across every major payment rail — as well as the tooling and automations that power fraud investigation workflows, transaction decisioning, account restrictions, and deposit holds. Our systems are the infrastructure layer that payment and money movement teams plug into to move money safely.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a platform PM role with a dual mandate: prevent fraud by building and tuning real-time interventions and decision rules, and enable fraud investigations by building automations and tooling that make our fraud operations team faster and more effective. You'll own a broad surface area — from the streaming decision engine that blocks fraudulent withdrawals in milliseconds, to the case management system that routes alerts to investigators, to the restriction and suspension frameworks that protect compromised accounts.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the product vision and strategy for the Financial Risk platform, balancing fraud prevention with client experience - every intervention has a cost, and you'll need to make sharp tradeoffs between friction and protection.
- Drive the roadmap for the Decision Platform, our real-time rules engine that evaluates fraud risk across withdrawals, deposits, e-transfers, crypto transactions, and cheque deposits.
- Build and improve fraud investigation tooling and automations - including case management workflows, alert deduplication, and enrichment pipelines - that help our fraud operations team investigate and resolve cases faster.
- Define and evolve the restriction and mitigation framework that enables the right response to fraud signals: suspensions, withdrawal blocks, spend switch blocks, and account-level restrictions.
- Operate as a platform PM, designing extensible APIs, decision schemas, and integration patterns that payment and money movement teams can reliably plug into as new products and payment rails launch.
- Partner deeply with Fraud and Data Science teams on fraud model integration, fraud rule development, and the feedback loops that improve detection accuracy over time.
- Own key risk metrics - fraud loss rates, false positive rates, investigation cycle times, decision latency - and use data to drive prioritization.
- Break down complex, behind-the-scenes infrastructure projects into discrete phases that deliver value incrementally - this is platform work where the "client" is often another engineering team.
SKILLS YOU BRING
- 8+ years of product management experience with significant depth in fraud, risk, or trust & safety - you've built fraud prevention systems, investigation tooling, or risk decisioning platforms and understand the cat-and-mouse dynamics of financial fraud.
- Experience operating as a platform PM: you've built systems that other teams consume, and you know how to balance internal developer experience with business outcomes. You think in APIs, schemas, and extensibility.
- Strong technical fluency: you can go deep on streaming architectures, workflow orchestration, and ML model integration. You don't need to write code, but you need to reason about system design tradeoffs with engineering.
- Comfort with breadth: this role spans real-time decisioning, investigation tooling, restrictions infrastructure, and regulatory reporting. You thrive when context-switching across a wide problem space, not when going narrow.
- Data-driven decision making: you use quantitative analysis to identify fraud patterns, measure intervention effectiveness, and prioritize investments.
- Experience working with fraud operations teams: you understand investigation workflows, alert triage, case management, and the tooling that makes analysts productive. You've closed the loop between detection and investigation.
- A shipping mentality: we don't believe in spending forever analyzing and debating. The best way to validate a fraud rule is to ship it, monitor it, and iterate.
- Strong communication skills: you can translate complex risk and platform concepts for engineering, operations, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently: biasing towards action to drive projects forward across a broad surface area.

We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role owns the partnerships behind how we reward Wealthsimple clients for their everyday spend and deepen their relationship with us. You'll own our perks and rewards ecosystem end to end: credit card partnerships, Milestone Rewards, Wealthsimple Offers, and the credit card cashback marketplace. The job is to turn these programs into a reason clients bring more of their financial lives to us, measured in adoption, consolidation, and engagement. You'll source, negotiate, and launch partnerships with some of the biggest brands in the country, and you'll build a lot of it from scratch. This is a builder's seat for someone who's done perks and rewards before and wants to own the function end to end.
IN THIS ROLE YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Own credit card partnerships end to end: source, negotiate, and land partner-funded, card-native perks with national, household-name brands.
- Grow Wealthsimple Offers and the credit card cashback marketplace: build the roster across our top spend categories (travel, telecom, insurance, entertainment, grocery, transportation) and drive client adoption and redemption.
- Own Milestone Rewards: shape the mechanics and partner mix, and make the calls on when to revamp, expand, or retire.
- Lead commercial negotiations from first outreach to signed terms, landing economics that work for both our clients and the business.
- Turn card and marketplace data into a pipeline: find where the spend, the frequency, and the client value actually are, then go win those partners.
- Partner cross-functionally with Growth, PMM, Brand, Product, and data to launch, measure, and scale each program.
- Own the targets: offers live, unique clients engaging, redemption rates, and perks live per quarter, all tied to adoption, consolidation, and engagement.
SKILLS YOU'LL BRING:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in consulting, partnerships, and/or product-adjacent roles in banking or customer-focused industries.
- Perks and rewards experience. You've built or run a perks, rewards, or loyalty program before. This is the core of the role and we're looking for someone who's lived it, not read about it.
- Negotiation and commercial ownership. A master negotiator with a track record of driving commercial outcomes, hitting targets, and turning partnerships into value.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to assess trade-offs, economics, and scalability, and real comfort in spend and redemption data.
- Strategic partnership execution. Demonstrated experience developing and executing partnerships that require coordination across multiple stakeholders and functions.
- A 0-to-1 operator. Experience launching, building, or scaling programs in a new market with a high degree of autonomy.
- High urgency, strong ownership, and a bias for action.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Credit card, card-linked offer, interchange, or payments experience. If you've worked on card perks or a card-linked marketplace, we especially want to talk.
- A loyalty pedigree: experience at a fintech, a financial institution, or a consumer brand with a serious loyalty program.
- Hands-on data skills: SQL or a BI tool (Looker, Preset, Tableau, or similar) to interrogate spend and redemption yourself.

Hands-on experience working with or evaluating agentic AI systems; familiarity with MCP or comparable protocols and agent/tool integration frameworks strongly preferred

Our team of nearly 200 specialists - including a 40+ person R&D team with many PhDs - has pioneered AI solutions across industries from healthcare to e-commerce. We’ve published research in top-tier venues like NeurIPS and ICML, while delivering real-world applications that help our clients innovate and scale.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with strong leadership and strategic thinking to join our team and build innovative products and services powered by AI and autonomous agents. In this role, you will lead a strategic project focused on Customer Service transformation for a client in the banking sector, implementing AI and decision-making AI Agents.
We value your ability to identify and prioritize business opportunities and to transform data and research into clear product strategies and roadmaps. You'll manage the entire process, from feasibility studies to scaling up, while ensuring smooth stakeholder communication and balancing client ambitions with delivery feasibility.
If you want to have a real impact on how users interact with the technologies of the future, feel invited!
What you will do:
- Manage the end-to-end product vision and execution for AI-powered solutions, agents, and automated workflows designed specifically for customer support teams in a banking environment.
- Own the translation from high-level solution design decisions into a clear, structured, and buildable backlog for the engineering team.
- Review scope and technical estimates on behalf of the delivery team to ensure project roadmaps are realistic.
- Map business processes, document clear requirements, and define acceptance criteria and UAT scenarios to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Develop trustful relationships with stakeholders and ensure smooth cross-team communication.
- Identify and prioritize business opportunities and advise clients on possible directions.
- Validate ideas through experimentation to make fast, informed, de-risked decisions using continuous discovery approaches.
- Lead a cross-functional team of experts in their field, from AI engineers to experienced designers.
- Monitor productization of AI solutions from feasibility study through PoC to release and scale-up.
- Stay current with the rapidly evolving field of AI, LLMs, and autonomous agent frameworks.
Experience and skills you need to join us:
- Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML-driven projects specifically for customer support/ customer service teams, or for automation of business or back-office processes.
- At least 5 years in leading digital and AI products.
- Strong sense of ownership, analytical skills, and deep product-oriented thinking to make decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data.
- Solid background in working in a technical environment with cross-functional and remote teams, preferably international.
- Practical experience with continuous discovery approaches (including various validation techniques) and experience in designing and executing project budgets.
- Proven ability to work at the level of detail: process mapping, requirements documentation, acceptance criteria and UAT - not only strategy and roadmaps.
- Excellent communication skills, both English and Polish, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders from all management levels.
Nice to have:
- Direct experience working within banking, fintech, or another highly regulated / formal setting.
We would also need you to:
- Be open to business trips.
- Be ok with working with different time zones.
- Accept irregular working hours depending on the product development phase.

Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We help individuals from around the world connect with great companies that are looking for their specific skill set. Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located.
About the role
Staff Accountant
We are hiring on behalf of a fast-growing DTC men's apparel brand doing over $10M per month in revenue. Comfort-first, performance-minded basics: shorts, tees, hoodies, pants. California-rooted, 100% bootstrapped, running on Shopify with paid Meta as the growth engine.
The Role
This is not a back-office job. This is the financial nerve center of a fast-moving DTC operation.
You will own the daily accounting engine covering AP, receiving reconciliation, vendor accounts, and COGS accuracy. Then you will do what most accountants cannot: turn those numbers into answers. Which SKUs are printing money and which are dead weight? Which vendors are quietly bleeding the company on variances?
You will work directly with ownership. No layers, no bureaucracy. Ownership handles month-end close and the big strategic calls. You run the daily operation, surface what matters, and bring analysis sharp enough to change decisions. When you find something, it gets acted on that day.
If you have ever caught a six-figure error nobody else saw, or built the analysis that killed a bad product line, this is your room.
What You'll Own
Accounts Payable, full cycle
Process, code, and schedule vendor invoices across the full supplier base
Execute 3-way matching (PO, receiving report, invoice) on every inbound shipment
Run payment cycles, track terms, and capture early-pay discounts
Resolve discrepancies directly with vendors
Receiving and Inventory Accuracy
Daily reconciliation of invoiced quantities against goods actually received
Catch short ships, production variances, and pricing errors before they become write-offs
Partner with fulfillment leadership to keep receiving documentation airtight
COGS and Unit Economics
Maintain weighted average cost accuracy across roughly 1,300 SKUs
Reconcile landed costs including freight, duties, and inbound charges into true unit economics
Support monthly COGS true-ups and inventory valuation reviews
Vendor Management
Own vendor account reconciliations, statement reviews, and terms compliance
First line on anything billing-related with the supplier network
Track vendor performance: variance rates, pricing drift, chargeback recovery
Analysis
Blended and category-level gross margin tracking
SKU contribution, velocity, and markdown exposure across 1,300 SKUs
Vendor scorecards on cost, accuracy, and reliability
Ad hoc deep-dives for ownership: spend reviews, pricing scenarios, whatever needs answering that week
Requirements
Requirements
3 to 6 years in accounting or accounting plus FP&A, with real inventory, AP, or cost accounting exposure. Apparel, CPG, or DTC ecommerce strongly preferred
Fluent in 3-way matching and comfortable pushing back on vendors when the numbers do not add up
Excel killer: pivots, lookups, and models built from scratch
You think in unit economics, not just journal entries
ERP experience such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar. Shopify ecosystem familiarity is a plus
Self-directed and fast
Benefits
Work From Anywhere
Competitive salary paid in US$
