In this individual contributor role, you'll partner with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Field Operations, Enablement and Ecosystems and own searches from intake through close. You'll build inclusive pipelines and use data and market insight to guide hiring decisions, while growing into a trusted talent advisor.
What you'll do

Partner with hiring teams on structured, equitable interviews with clear competencies and actionable feedback; challenge assumptions and escalate risks or blockers early.
Use talent-market research, compensation and on-target earnings (OTE) benchmarks, funnel metrics, and candidate feedback to shape search strategy and address hiring issues.
Assess sales candidates on track record, quota attainment, deal complexity, and experience relevant to GitLab's sales segments and approach.
Build research-based, diversity-focused sourcing plans that balance applicants, passive talent, referrals, internal talent, and targeted outreach.
Deliver a thoughtful candidate experience through disciplined pipeline management, proactive communication, timely feedback, and offer negotiations that clearly explain compensation and OTE.
Improve recruiting practices by sharing learnings and reusable resources, using artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly, and representing GitLab's mission, values, and culture.
What you'll bring
Intermediate-level recruiting experience, with a track record of owning full-cycle searches independently.
Sales or go-to-market recruiting experience, or a strong interest in learning sales segments, quotas, OTE, ramp time, territory design, and sales cycles.
Developing advisor skills: building stakeholder trust, influencing without authority, and managing hiring team expectations.
Experience building proactive, diversity-focused sourcing strategies and balanced pipelines.
A data-informed approach that turns funnel insights into practical actions.
Strong organization across multiple requisitions and clear written and verbal communication across time zones, with attention to detail and candidate care.
Experience with an applicant tracking system and recruiting tools such as Greenhouse, Metaview, LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Insights, SeekOut, or comparable platforms; ability to evaluate AI-generated work, protect confidential information, and share responsible workflows with team members.
Technology or business-to-business (B2B) software recruiting experience is helpful, not required.

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
THE ROLE
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote, and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for this employee and meet business needs, this role requires you to be based within +3/-3 UTC.
As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will help run accurate, timely, and controlled accounts payable operations for external vendors. You will coordinate closely with our invoice-processing BPO, resolve discrepancies, manage AP communications, complete reconciliations and close activities in NetSuite, and partner with Treasury, Accounting, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Beyond daily execution, you will help improve and automate the workflows that support Oyster’s global financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve AP discrepancies and vendor queries accurately and promptly.
- Support the BPO in processing invoices completely, accurately, and on time in NetSuite.
- Ensure AP work complies with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage AP mailboxes and communication channels with clear documentation and tracking.
- Process vendor’s invoices in NetSuite.
- Perform regular AP account reconciliations and investigate exceptions thoroughly.
- Partner with Treasury and Accounting to support timely, accurate payments.
- Complete month-end AP close activities.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant vendor master data.
- Contribute to cross-functional AP improvement and automation projects.
- Maintain AP documentation and training materials.
- Build effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Core Requirements
- At least three years of professional AP accounting experience, including financial processing and reconciliation.
- Advanced ERP experience.
- Advanced Google Sheets and Excel capability, plus proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- A track record of high-quality execution in high-growth, high-volume, globally distributed AP environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated AP process-improvement and technology-innovation experience.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and systematic working methods.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and proactive problem-solving.
Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience
- Formal accounting education or a related qualification.
- Payroll-processing experience.
- Advanced Netsuite experience.
This might not be right for you if...
- You prefer narrowly transactional work without process-improvement ownership.
- You have limited experience on a standard AP process with Purchase Order
- You are uncomfortable investigating ambiguous discrepancies across several stakeholders.
- You need close day-to-day direction rather than independently prioritizing work.
- You have limited experience with high-volume, global AP operations.
You'll also need
- A reliable home internet connection and fluency in both written and spoken English.

You are a crypto-native operations professional with genuine hands-on experience in the onchain economy; you have deployed capital into onchian lending protocols, managed leveraged positions, navigated liquidation risk, and executed transactions across multiple chains. You are equally comfortable operating within an institutional custody environment as you are diligencing a new protocol and automating different workflows. You thrive in fast-moving environments, take ownership during your time zone's hours, and treat operational gaps as problems to be solved rather than escalated
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the IT Support Lead for our Hong Kong office, owning day-to-day local IT support operations and the overall end-user technology experience. This is an onsite role requiring presence in our Hong Kong office five days per week.
Provide high-quality deskside and remote support across hardware, software, identity, access, networking, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
Deliver white-glove support to executive users and responsive, high-performance support to trading and other business-critical teams.
Act as the primary local escalation point for complex support issues, taking ownership through resolution and coordinating with global IT, Security, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams when needed.
Oversee and help develop a Level 1 / junior support engineer, providing guidance, prioritization, coaching, and quality oversight while maintaining a hands-on role yourself.
Manage and prioritize the local support ticket queue, ensuring issues are handled with appropriate urgency, SLAs are met, and service quality remains consistently high.
Monitor recurring issues and ticket trends, identify root causes, and drive permanent fixes, documentation, automation, or process changes rather than repeatedly treating symptoms.
Lead local onboarding and offboarding, device provisioning, laptop and mobile device configuration, and manage the hardware lifecycle end to end, including purchasing and receiving, provisioning, inventory and asset tracking, repair and replacement, and secure wipe and disposal of retired equipment.
Administer and support managed endpoints through MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf, including device enrollment, configuration, compliance, policy deployment, and troubleshooting.
Act as a first-line responder for local security matters, including phishing reports, lost or stolen devices, suspicious activity, and account lockouts or compromises, escalating promptly to the global Security team as appropriate.
Help maintain endpoint security and compliance standards, including EDR, disk encryption (BitLocker / FileVault), patch compliance, MFA, and support for audit or compliance requests as needed.
Support and troubleshoot macOS, Windows, and iOS devices, including imaging, configuration, deployment, patching, and application-related issues.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, proxy behavior, and the impact of enterprise security controls on user applications.
Own the reliability of local conference rooms and AV technology, proactively checking meeting spaces and ensuring executive and business-critical calls run without friction.
Act as a local point of contact for IT-related vendors and service providers, including ISPs, hardware suppliers, mobile carriers, and building management where technology services are involved.
Support Hong Kong office moves, expansions, build-outs, and other local technology initiatives, coordinating with global IT teams, Facilities, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing for the Hong Kong office, including readiness for local disruptions such as typhoons, power outages, and ISP or connectivity failures.
Support local mobile and communications requirements, including carrier management and relevant compliance tooling where applicable.
Partner closely with global Desktop Support and Helpdesk teams to align on standards, documentation, processes, tooling, and escalation paths.
Maintain clear local documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge articles so common issues can be resolved consistently and efficiently.
Identify opportunities to improve support workflows and reduce repetitive work through scripting, automation, self-service, or better tooling.
Communicate clearly with local office leadership and key stakeholders during incidents, major changes, office initiatives, and recurring problem areas.
Participate in the global IT Support 24/7 emergency on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays, responding to critical incidents and urgent support needs by phone or remote access as required, as well as planned maintenance or project work.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in technical support, including significant deskside support experience in a professional, financial services, trading, or similarly high-performance environment.
Demonstrated experience acting as a senior escalation point, local IT owner, team lead, or equivalent role with responsibility beyond individual ticket resolution.
Proven ability to deliver white-glove support to executives and responsive support to business-critical users in fast-paced environments.
Strong working knowledge of both macOS and Windows operating systems at an administrative level, with hands-on experience supporting iOS/mobile devices.
Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf, including device management, configuration profiles, policy enforcement, compliance, and provisioning.
Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, and related productivity tooling.
Experience with identity and directory services, including user provisioning, group management, permissions, access control, and troubleshooting authentication-related issues.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and how enterprise network and security tools can affect application behavior.
Experience with hardware deployment, laptop and mobile device lifecycle management, asset tracking, and enterprise software troubleshooting.
Experience using ITSM or ticketing platforms and working within SLA-driven support processes; able to prioritize effectively across competing requests.
Strong ownership mindset with a track record of seeing issues through end-to-end and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Proactive approach to support: able to identify patterns, improve processes, prevent recurring issues, and raise the quality of the overall support environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the judgment and professionalism required to support executives and senior stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and take ownership of local IT operations while remaining closely aligned with global standards and teams.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting trading floors or other low-tolerance, high-availability user populations.
Experience mentoring, coaching, or informally managing junior IT support staff.
Exposure to scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, APIs, RESTful services, Git, or similar tools.
Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platforms for communication, project management, identity, and file collaboration.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, ITIL, or similar.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are seeking a Director, Technical Accounting – Investments and M&A to join our Finance team at Anthropic. In this role, you will own the company's accounting for strategic investments, partnerships with investment components, and related capital transactions, and support mergers and acquisitions when deal volume requires. You will report to the Senior Director, Technical Accounting – M&A and Investments.
As Anthropic continues to scale rapidly and deploy capital into strategic investments, joint ventures, and novel commercial structures, including compute arrangements that carry warrants and other investment features, you will be a key technical resource on classification, consolidation outcomes, fair value, and financial statement impact across the portfolio. You will partner closely with Corporate Development, Legal, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and leadership to ensure that investment economics are accurately reflected under US GAAP and that positions are defensible to external auditors, valuation specialists, and future regulators.
This is a builder role: you'll help stand up and continuously sharpen the portfolio accounting process, controls, and valuation governance expected of a world class finance organization, working alongside the Senior Director as the function takes shape. If you want to own a portfolio end to end — and still be in the room when deals are shaped — we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Execute technical accounting for strategic investments, joint ventures, partnership structures, and related financing/equity instruments from entry through exit
Partner with and influence Corporate Development to steer investment structures toward preferred terms and outcomes, reviewing term sheets and deal documents before signing
Own entry accounting for each new investment — classification under ASC 321, 323, or 810, VIE/primary-beneficiary analysis, basis differences, and the initial measurement memo
Run the quarterly portfolio review — reconsideration events, impairment indicators, observable price changes, and equity method pick-ups — and account for follow-on investments, conversions, down rounds, and exits
Own the investment rollforward, its reconciliation to the general ledger, and the portfolio reporting that supports close, FP&A, and leadership, including review of portfolio company financial statements
Manage third-party valuation specialists; review fair values of investments, warrants, and derivative features, including Level 3 inputs and impairment analyses
Assess warrants, equity rights, and other investment components embedded in partnerships and compute arrangements, partnering with Accounting Policy on how consideration is allocated
Support M&A transactions alongside the M&A lead when deal volume requires — accounting due diligence, purchase accounting (consideration measurement, PPA review, opening balance sheet), and measurement-period adjustments
Author and defend technical accounting policies & memoranda; partner closely with external auditors on investment, consolidation, and M&A matters
Help build the investments operating model — intake form and approval gates, memo templates, quarterly checklists, and SOX-ready controls — designed to scale as the portfolio grows including utilizing Claude, ERP systems and third party applications (as applicable)
Prepare and review investment and transaction disclosures for quarterly and annual filings, including fair value, equity method, and VIE disclosures
Present investment accounting conclusions and financial statement impacts to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in clear, decision-ready terms
Monitor standard-setting and SEC developments affecting investments, consolidation, and business combinations; support adoption and cross-functional education
Minimum qualifications
Bring significant Big 4 experience — ideally in a National Office, Transaction/Deal Advisory, or Capital Markets/Accounting Advisory group — paired with in-house experience at a technology company and public accounting or advisory experience
Proven experience leading complex valuations (e.g., business combinations, equity and debt investments, warrants and other Level 3 instruments), including directing and challenging the work of third-party valuation specialists
Have owned the accounting for a portfolio of minority/strategic investments, including quarterly impairment and fair value monitoring and at least one investment of meaningful scale or complexity
Possess deep command of US GAAP for investments in equity securities, equity method, consolidation and VIEs, fair value measurement, and business combinations, with a track record of positions that withstand auditor and regulator scrutiny
Are fluent in valuation concepts and can direct and challenge third-party specialists on private company fair value, warrant/option pricing, impairment, and PPA models
Have operated within an investments-accounting or deal-accounting function, contributing to playbook and controls design
Communicate effectively with Corporate Development, Legal, and Tax on structuring trade-offs, translating technical conclusions for cross-functional and senior stakeholders
Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication, translating complex investment and deal accounting into clear business implications
Excel at hands-on technical execution in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, shifting between portfolio work and live deals as priorities change
Are proficient with accounting systems (Workday preferred), consolidation tools, and advanced Excel/modeling
Curious about and quick to adopt new AI tools, including Claude and Claude for Finance
Preferred qualifications
Have 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years owning strategic investment, equity method, or consolidation accounting end-to-end
Have deep, practitioner-level expertise in one or more of the following:
Investments in equity securities, equity method, and consolidation (ASC 321, 323, 810), including VIE/primary-beneficiary analysis, basis differences, and the measurement alternative
Fair value measurement, derivatives, and embedded features (ASC 820, 815, 825), including warrants and Level 3 inputs for private company investments
Business combinations and asset acquisitions (ASC 805), including contingent consideration and step acquisitions
Collaborative arrangements and consideration exchanged in commercial deals (ASC 808, 606)
Hold an active CPA license
Have built an investment accounting process from the ground up, including intake, quarterly monitoring, and SOX-compliant controls over non-routine/complex transactions
Have prepared or reviewed investment disclosures in SEC filings, including fair value hierarchy, equity method, and VIE disclosures
Have experience with novel AI/technology structures — investments bundled with compute or commercial agreements, warrants received from customers or vendors, revenue-share partnerships, and strategic investor rights — and are passionate about leveraging AI to automate portfolio monitoring, memo drafting, and close

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
Who we want
This is a role for someone who wants to work on a hard problem, deliver real impact and be pushed to be the best version of themselves. As a Provider Sales VP, you’ll be embedded in Provider Partnerships and report directly to the SVP of Provider.
You will own Garner's provider segment at its most senior level, as a quota-carrying seller responsible for the marquee health-system and enterprise relationships that define this category for us. You will help set the segment's go-to-market approach, from sub-segments to pursue, to lead generation, to closing strategy. This is a seat for someone who has built a selling book from limited infrastructure before and wants to do it again with a genuinely differentiated product and dataset behind them.
What you will do
Own the provider segment end to end, from go-to-market strategy through close, carrying an individual quota against your assigned budget.
Land and expand marquee health-system and enterprise logos, opening executive-level doors up to health-system CEO.
Run a data-driven sales motion at the most senior level: connect Garner's data to a buyer's top strategic priorities.
Lead complex, committee-driven negotiations to close, holding momentum and goodwill across long cycles and multiple veto-holding approvers.
Establish the repeatable playbook the segment adopts: messaging, target-account strategy, and objection handling grounded in healthcare economics and provider risk.
Partner with Product, Sales leadership, and Account Management, and build the feedback loop that turns market signal into roadmap and pricing change.
Build full fluency across Garner's product suite and match the right product angle to each buyer.
What we're looking for
8 or more years in fast paced selling environment carrying and consistently exceeding individual quote
Experience owning a new-market motion end to end: building a segment from limited infrastructure and landing marquee logos
Experience selling into into hospitals, health systems, or other healthcare provider organizations is preferred; if not, experience selling in other complex B2B SaaS environments
A track record of closing through multi-stakeholder, committee-driven buying processes, where clinical, analytics, finance, legal, and administrative approvers each hold an effective veto.
Command of the room with senior buyers up to the CEO: you build trust fast, go head to head on strategy, and secure buy-in for a high-consideration purchase.
Data fluency built by repeatedly entering new or ambiguous markets and learning the methodology deeply.
Repeatable plays for reviving stalled pipeline, applied across a book rather than one deal at a time.
Comfort selling while product, pricing, and positioning are still evolving.
The instinct to build an internal operating rhythm: who to pull in when, plus a feedback loop into product and pricing.
A desire to do work that matters: and to be held to a high standard while doing it. You're energized by a mission with measurable outcomes, not just good intentions. You engage with AI tools as part of how you do your best work, and hold yourself accountable to outcomes that matter beyond your team’s metrics.
What you’ll get here
You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform, where the problems we solve are as interesting and compelling as the mission.

You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career.
Procurement Operations is the front door for buying at Anthropic. We sit inside Finance Operations and own the path from “I need to buy something” to a signed agreement, an accurate purchase order, and clean spend data at month end.
We are hiring a Procurement Operations Business Partner to own that path for our technology spend: business applications, SaaS tools, cloud and infrastructure services, and the engineering and developer tools our teams build with. This portfolio is software heavy: new tools evaluated and onboarded regularly, licenses that renew on their own schedule, and vendors billed on seats, usage, or tiered subscription terms rather than a single invoice. You will be the person who makes buying software feel simple to the teams who depend on it and reliable to the Finance stakeholders behind it. This is a high-volume role with an accounting core. You ensure every software purchase in your portfolio is coded, dated, received, and accrued correctly, so spend is right in the books every month. Expect a steady queue of new tool requests, renewals, and license changes, and expect to be the person Accounting trusts on all of it.
We use Claude as part of our daily workflow and are looking for someone who wants to help define what an AI-native procurement operations function looks like, including how AI changes intake, contract and security review, vendor coordination, and requester support.
Responsibilities
Own the purchasing process
Manage a high volume of purchase requests, renewals, and license changes each month across the organization, keeping speed and accuracy high at the same time.
Serve as the primary procurement partner for the teams buying in your categories, guiding requesters from initial request to signed agreement and issued purchase order.
Review every purchase request in your portfolio for the things that matter downstream: the right vendor record and contracting entity, complete commercial documents, correct spend categorization and service dates, and the approvals the purchase actually needs.
Determine what else each request requires before it can move, whether that is an order form, a data privacy review, or a third party risk assessment, and route it to the right reviewers the first time.
Partner with Security to run a vendor security review on every new tool and at every renewal, and hold the line that nothing goes live without one.
Launch and track contract review with Legal, keep it moving, and confirm the executed agreement supports the purchase order before it is issued.
Structure purchase orders so they match how the vendor bills (seat-based, usage-based, tiered subscription, or flat annual fee) and how Accounting needs to see the spend, with the right GL account, cost center, and service period on every line. Manage renewals, true ups, and seat count changes over the life of each agreement.
Track license counts and renewal dates across your portfolio so nothing auto-renews or lapses by surprise, and flag underused or overlapping tools to budget owners ahead of the next renewal cycle.
Financial completeness and accuracy
Code every purchase order correctly at creation, including GL account, spend category, cost center, and service period, and understand how each choice lands in the financials (expense versus prepaid, annual versus monthly recognition).
Work the hard cases with Accounting: multi year subscriptions paid upfront, mid term seat additions, true ups, credits, and contracts amended mid cycle.
Own the open purchase order book: receipts recorded against actual delivery, periodic reviews, stale line cleanup, coding corrections, and timely closures, so PO, receipt, and invoice agree.
Serve as the first line reviewer for month-end accruals on your portfolio, gathering estimates from vendors and budget owners for variable spend and confirming or correcting proposed amounts so Accounting can close on time.
Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice holds, PO mismatches, and receiving questions so vendors are paid on time and spend lands where it belongs.
Support audit and reporting requests that touch your portfolio, including commitment schedules and control evidence, with data you can stand behind.
Be the front door
Be visible and responsive in your teams' Slack channels and office hours; answer routine purchasing questions quickly and escalate real blockers with context.
Apply purchasing policy consistently and explain the why, including approval thresholds, signature authority, and when an exception is and is not available.
Translate procurement, legal, security, and finance requirements into plain language for engineers, IT, and business stakeholders, and carry their operating reality back to those teams so controls fit the work.
Keep a regular check in with your highest volume teams so upcoming purchases and renewals are visible early and nothing urgent arrives as a surprise.
Continuous improvement
Maintain the playbooks, intake guidance, and standard operating procedures for your portfolio so the path is repeatable and does not live in one person's head.
Identify manual steps, repeat questions, and failure points and fix them, including where Claude and workflow automation with AI can take work off requesters and the team.
Minimum qualifications
Proven track record of owning a high-volume purchasing portfolio end-to-end in a procure-to-pay and intake platform.
Solid working knowledge of accrual accounting as it applies to purchasing: accruals and reversals, service period and cutoff, prepaid versus expense, and GL and cost center coding. You can explain how a purchase order becomes an entry in the general ledger.
Experience buying and managing software or SaaS at scale, including seat-based, usage-based, and tiered subscription billing models.
Experience owning the tool and vendor lifecycle end to end, from intake through security review, contracting, renewal, and sunset, with the judgment to know when to push a request through and when to slow it down.
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of procurement operations, purchasing, or vendor operations, including time supporting IT, engineering, or business systems teams.
Background in accounting, accounts payable, or a month-end close process.
Direct experience with Zip, Workday Financials, and Ironclad.
Prior ownership of month-end accrual review or open PO reconciliation for a large, variable spend portfolio.
Experience with software asset management or license optimization, including identifying underused or redundant tools.
Experience designing tiered intake or approval frameworks that sped up low risk purchases without weakening controls.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$190,000

Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

An overview of this role
As a Senior CX Platform Engineer, you'll help GitLab's Customer Experience (CX) teams hand real work to artificial intelligence (AI). You'll use Claude Code and GitLab Duo Agent Platform as your default development tools, designing agentic workflows and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers with production testing, security, and shared ownership. This is a software engineering role, not ticket-taking internal IT, AI evangelism disconnected from shipped code, or customer-billable Professional Services delivery.
What you'll do
Use Claude Code, GitLab Duo, and other coding agents as your primary development environment for planning, implementation, refactoring, testing, reviews, and documentation. Run multiple agents in parallel on well-scoped tasks, critically review their output, and own every line that reaches production.
Build and maintain the team's agent harness, including shared AGENTS.md conventions, skills, slash commands, hooks, subagent definitions, and continuous integration checks. Measure and share what works, publish reusable patterns, and retire those that don't.
Ship agents and multi-step workflows for account research, success planning, scoping, status reporting, and customer onboarding. Package them as skills and plugins for non-engineers using Claude, Claude in Slack, and GitLab Duo Agent Platform.
Build MCP servers and connectors for governed access to GitLab, Salesforce, Gainsight, Kantata, Thought Industries, Gong, Snowflake, and other enterprise systems. Add evaluations, tracing, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints to keep internal and customer-facing agents measurable, auditable, and safe with customer data.
Evolve the CX Application Platform's gateway, Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, including Elastic Container Service (ECS), Relational Database Service (RDS), and Lambda, Terraform configuration, application scaffold, and deployment path. Own applications such as PS Compass, Congregate, and GitLab University and its integrations, documenting build-versus-buy and consolidate-or-sunset decisions.
Ship production-quality Python and TypeScript through GitLab continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), with tests, observability, security review, and runbooks. Design every application for handoff, with documentation, monitoring, and shared ownership.
Prototype with Customer Success, Digital Success, Professional Services, Education Services, and Training in days, not quarters. Help CX team members bring their own applications to production, and turn field learning into reusable reference implementations, development paths, and enablement.
Contribute upstream to GitLab and share product feedback with Product and Engineering. Mentor engineers and non-engineers on agentic development and raise the team's code review bar.
What you'll bring
Experience building and operating production software, owning multi-quarter work from ambiguity to production, choosing reusable platform solutions over one-off customization where appropriate, and designing for handoff.
Daily, hands-on use of coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitLab Duo, or similar on production work. You can show how they've changed what you ship and how you maintain quality.
Experience building with large language models (LLMs) beyond chat, including tool use, MCP servers, agent loops, context and retrieval design, prompt and workflow design, and evaluations.
Strong Python skills with FastAPI or Flask and TypeScript skills with Vue or React, including application programming interface (API) design, authentication, authorization, and secure handling of customer and business data.
Hands-on experience with AWS ECS, RDS, and Lambda, Terraform, Docker, and applications running behind single sign-on (SSO), such as Okta.
Experience integrating enterprise systems through Representational State Transfer (REST) and GraphQL APIs, and fluency with Git, merge requests, and CI/CD.
Experience translating non-engineering stakeholders' workflows into technical plans and writing clear asynchronous design documents, decision records, and enablement materials. You align with GitLab's values and are willing to use GitLab for your own work.
Optional experience includes agent harness customization; the GitLab Development Kit, Duo Agent Platform custom agents and flows, or AI Catalog publishing; enterprise agent governance and data controls; customer success, professional services, or learning platforms such as Salesforce, Gainsight, Kantata, or Thought Industries; professional services economics and customer success metrics; Snowflake or similar warehouses; and technical writing, talks, or open source contributions on agentic development.
We welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; you don't need to meet every nice-to-have to apply.
About the team
CX Platform Engineering builds and runs CX Applications for Customer Success, Digital Success, Professional Services, Education Services, and Training. We own the CX Application Platform's gateway and infrastructure alongside our application portfolio: GitLab University, the Foundational Onboarding Agent in GitLab Duo Agent Platform, Congregate, PS Compass, and Customer Wins. We build the first version with the people doing the work, turn what we learn into a reusable pattern, then hand it off so it runs without us. We reward leverage, not heroics, and don't leave tools dependent on one person.
