About the role
We are seeking a Financial Controller to take full ownership of VALD's day to day finance function across all group entities. You will join a strong, capable finance team already in place, and your role is to manage, mentor and empower them to take the function to the next level. You will oversee the monthly close, consolidation, audit, tax compliance, treasury and transactional finance.
This is a hands on leadership role in a fast growing, multi-entity, multi-currency SAAS business. You will coach the team, build their technical and commercial capability, and create the structure, processes and controls that let them scale with the business. Success means a confident, high performing team delivering accurate, on time numbers that the executive team trusts, with minimal escalation.
The ideal candidate is a technically strong CA/CPA with an audit background and several years in an industry controller or senior finance role, ideally in technology or subscription businesses. You will have a genuine track record of developing people and raising a team's performance. Experience with NetSuite, mergers and acquisitions, international tax and multi-jurisdiction groups is highly regarded. You will be a team player with a can do attitude, comfortable moving between hands on tasks, detailed review and big picture process design.

• Oversee multi-entity consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, and foreign currency translation.

• Coordinate external tax advisors and maintain transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements.
• Monitor sales tax nexus and indirect tax obligations as the business expands into new markets.
Controls, systems and process improvement
• Design, document and maintain a scalable internal control framework, including delegations of authority.
• Act as finance system owner for NetSuite and connected tools, driving automation and ERP enhancements.
• Integrate acquired businesses into VALD's finance processes, systems and reporting.
• Continuously improve close efficiency, data quality and reporting turnaround.
Team leadership and business partnering
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team, setting clear priorities and standards.
• Act as the day to day finance contact for the business, resolving queries without escalation.
• Provide actuals, data and analysis to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic projects led by the Head of Finance.
Skills, Experience and Competencies
Technical skills and knowledge
• Strong working knowledge of AASBs; US GAAP experience highly regarded.
• Proven ownership of month end close and consolidation for a multi-entity, multi-currency group.
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition for subscription arrangements.

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Codeless, our internal Server-Driven UI (SDUI) platform team. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team bridging mobile/web frontend engineering and core platform backend systems.
While this role is deeply rooted in modern UI architecture, its mission goes beyond standard UI development: Codeless empowers product teams across the organization to ship dynamic, native UI experiences dynamically from the backend—eliminating app store release bottlenecks, dramatically accelerating feature iteration, and establishing a unified UI schema across iOS, Android, and Web.
What you’ll be doing
This is a role with broad impact, from hands-on technical guidance to championing web and mobile accessibility across the company. We're looking for a leader who excels at fostering collaboration and can confidently guide a concept from initial idea to robust implementation.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Team Leadership & Strategy:
Build, mentor, and scale an engineering team responsible for our core Server-Driven UI platform ("Codeless"). Foster an inclusive, high-ownership engineering culture.
Platform Architecture & Evolution:
Oversee the design and evolution of dynamic layout engines, declarative UI schemas, and client rendering frameworks across iOS, Android, and Web.
Developer Velocity & Platform Adoption:
Partner with product feature teams to drive internal adoption of Codeless. Ensure the platform provides exceptional Developer Experience, clear tooling, robust design system integration, and seamless debugging workflows.
Technical Execution & Quality:
Set high technical standards for platform performance, payload optimization, caching strategies, backward compatibility, and graceful offline/fallback behavior across client devices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Product Managers, Design System leaders, and Core Infrastructure engineers to align the Codeless roadmap with broader company initiatives and global design paradigms.
What you’ll need to thrive
Engineering Management:
3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, with a track record of coaching engineers, delivering complex platform initiatives, and driving technical strategy.
UI & Platform Domain Expertise:
Strong foundational background in mobile (iOS/Android) or modern web architecture (React, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or declarative UI paradigms).
Product & Platform Mindset:
Ability to treat internal product engineering teams as customers, evaluating platform success through developer velocity, adoption metrics, and rendering performance.
Why join us
At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters—solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving. We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:

Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the role
You'll own regulatory license application projects for Salmon, managing submissions to the BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas), the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), and other regulators as the company expands its licensed products and geographies. This is a hands-on role for someone who goes deep into the detail, drafts the materials themselves, and keeps applications moving.
What you'll do
- Work within a small, dedicated licensing function, coordinating across legal, compliance, finance, product, and PMO teams to move license applications forward
- Serve as the primary on-the-ground point of contact in Manila for licensing projects, working closely with a remote team lead
- Navigate regulatory back-and-forth: drafting responses, tracking open items, and keeping stakeholders aligned across multiple concurrent applications
- Keep applications on track by explaining the regulatory context and requirements behind each request, so stakeholders understand what is needed and why, and escalating with clear facts and impact when inputs are blocked
What you'll own
- End-to-end management of regulatory license applications, from initial pack preparation through regulator approval
- Drafting application documentation yourself (application letters, governance materials, and corporate documents), bringing in the relevant stakeholders for input/support where needed and sign-off
- Timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple license projects simultaneously, pushing stakeholders to deliver on time and escalating risks early
- Coordination with legal, compliance, finance, and business owners to gather inputs and ensure submissions are accurate and complete
- Ongoing communication with regulators, tracking questions, comments, and required follow-ups through to closure
- Supporting the transition of licensing projects from the PMO team into the dedicated licensing function
What makes you a strong fit
- 3-5 years of experience combining legal, regulatory, and project management work on complex, multi-stakeholder projects in financial services or fintech
- Hands-on experience with license applications for financial activities (e.g. banking, e-money/payments, securities/trading, lending) or comparable fintech regulatory projects, at a bank, payment company, EMI, trading firm, or financial institution, or through law firm or Big Four advisory work in financial services
- Strong drafting skills: you're comfortable reading regulations, interpreting requirements, and writing submission-ready documents
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to spot gaps and inconsistencies before the regulator does
- Confident and persistent with stakeholders at all levels: you explain the "why" behind each request with clear regulatory context and detail, follow up, push back, and escalate when needed, while keeping relationships constructive
- Comfortable working with Confluence, JIRA, and Slack as core operating tools
- Relocation to Manila is required
