GiveWell’s mission is to help people in need as much as we can by researching the most cost‑effective ways to save and improve lives, sharing our work openly, and directing donations to the programs we believe will do the most good. Our work, which focuses on global health and well-being, is funded by tens of thousands of donors who rely on our research to inform their giving. We’ve grown from directing $1.5 million in 2010 to directing more than $400 million in 2025. We anticipate our total grantmaking is likely to approach or even exceed $1 billion this year, and we are working toward a future that could be several times that scale. Through years of deliberate groundwork, we’ve been growing our research capacity and scope in order to direct substantially more funding to the most impactful opportunities we can find.
We’re hiring a Senior Communications Officer, Strategic Communications to lead GiveWell’s development of messaging and narratives that explain its work across different audiences and contexts. You will translate the organization’s increasingly diverse and complex work into clear, accurate communications and lead major initiatives that require close coordination across GiveWell.
This role will lead a small and growing team. This is one of three new communications leadership roles, alongside a
Senior Communications Officer, Media & Public Affairs
and a
Senior Communications Officer, Editorial & Production.
About the role
Both
our research and impact are expanding
. Last year, we directed more than $400 million to highly cost-effective programs that save and improve lives. This year, we expect our grantmaking to approach, and possibly exceed, $1 billion.
To build toward the communications capacity this next stage requires, we are rapidly expanding our team. The three Senior Communications Officers will work together on many projects to support GiveWell’s communications needs, while working closely with other leaders across our organization. Each leader will own their function, but much of the work that matters most—like team strategies, major initiatives, partnership campaigns, and how we present the organization as a whole—will involve all three. We will expect this group to set shared priorities and work closely together to achieve the team’s goals.
In this hands-on leadership position, you’ll own how GiveWell explains its work across different audiences and contexts, with end-to-end responsibility for this emerging function. You’ll set its strategy, hire and develop its people, build its systems, and personally own its hardest and most consequential work. This is an opportunity to build, not just inherit, an important function at a critical point in GiveWell’s development. You’ll start with a small team and grow it over time.
While this role is set at the Senior Communications Officer level, we may consider hiring an exceptional candidate as a Communications Director—with greater expectations, responsibilities, and compensation.
What You'll Do
As Senior Communications Officer, Strategic Communications, you will be responsible for translating GiveWell’s research, grantmaking, and ideas into messages, frameworks, and products across a variety of channels and contexts. You will also lead major communications initiatives, advise senior leaders and teams, and help GiveWell assess and respond to emerging communications opportunities and risks.
Specific duties will include:
Own how GiveWell’s brand positioning and guidelines are applied across teams, channels, and partnership communications, and work closely with the executive team on developing and maintaining them.
Own the messaging and narrative that make GiveWell’s work accessible and relevant without sacrificing rigor, precision, or clarity about uncertainty.
Translate GiveWell’s research, grantmaking, and ideas into messages and frameworks tailored to the audiences we most need to reach.
Partner with Philanthropy on GiveWell’s donor communications strategy and lead donor-facing communications that require new or tailored messaging.
Lead complex, cross-functional communications initiatives, including major partnership campaigns and other high-priority communications involving grantees and external partners.
Serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior leaders and teams across GiveWell, bringing a clear point of view on audiences, framing, opportunities, and risks.
Lead GiveWell’s internal assessment of emerging issues that may affect the organization and develop our position and messaging, working with relevant teams and the Senior Communications Officer, Media & Public Affairs.
Own the strategic direction and institutional messaging for GiveWell’s website, working with communications colleagues on execution.
Own GiveWell’s internal communications strategy and major internal communications, helping our growing organization stay informed and aligned.
Manage and develop one or two team members initially, and help determine how the function’s team, systems, and capabilities should grow over time.
About You
You are skilled at using communications to help people understand complex ideas, build trust, and take action. You are comfortable being accountable for outcomes, making consequential decisions with limited oversight, and knowing which decisions genuinely require escalation.
You are energized by intellectually demanding work, and the challenges of creating engaging communications within a careful and precise style. You can engage deeply with GiveWell’s research, and you are comfortable understanding and communicating about data in detail. You have a long track record of getting up to speed quickly on complex subject matter and carefully communicating to a very high standard. You can build a compelling narrative that is entirely factual, representing what is known and unknown without overstating or hedging into vagueness—and you find the idea of working with GiveWell’s exacting communications standards exciting rather than limiting.
Your background includes significant experience leading communications in complex, high-stakes environments. This should include 10+ years of experience developing institutional narratives and messaging, advising senior leaders, communicating complex or technical material, and leading cross-functional initiatives. You have deep experience owning that work end to end, not just contributing to it. You’ve remained a hands-on leader who enjoys the work itself, as well as the strategy and systems behind it.
You can assess a situation from multiple angles, determine what an organization should say and how it should frame the issue, and turn that judgment into messages and communications that others can use. Experience with organizational positioning, brand strategy, donor communications, web strategy, and internal communications is desired, but we do not expect every candidate to have worked extensively in all of these areas.
In addition to demonstrated expertise in the duties listed above, you should have:
Exceptional communications judgment, including the ability to understand audience, context, risk, timing, and the underlying substance of a message.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly make complex ideas clear and compelling without sacrificing rigor or nuance.
A track record of building and leading: you have created or substantially rebuilt a team or function—not only run ones you inherited—and you have hired, developed, and managed people.
Recent, hands-on excellence at your craft: you can point to work from the past few years that you personally produced or substantially shaped.
Experience producing communications that are direct and factual while being engaging and effective with their target audiences—work that succeeds through substance and clarity rather than embellishment.
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to engage deeply with GiveWell’s research and ideas, even without prior experience in our giving areas.
Experience advising executives or other senior decision-makers directly.
Strong alignment with GiveWell’s mission and values, including truth-seeking, transparency, and a commitment to communicating accurately and thoughtfully.
We also think these qualities will help you do well in the role and at GiveWell:
People who can develop a strong point of view and hold it with confidence, but remain genuinely open to challenge, new information, and better ideas.
Self-starters who take ownership, are comfortable creating structure in an evolving environment, and can make thoughtful decisions without always having complete information.
People who are proactive and anticipatory, who identify opportunities, risks, bottlenecks, and communications needs before they become obvious.
Collaborative leaders who raise the quality of the work around them and build strong relationships across teams.
People who coordinate well with peers, resolve dependencies and disagreements, and make shared work clearer rather than more complicated.
Key Questions & Information
What are some of the reasons I might not like this role?
You want to step into a mature function with established systems, rather than build one while you run it.
You do best with clear direction and established priorities. We’ll expect you to set most of your own, make most decisions yourself, and reach substantial autonomy within your first six months.
You prefer advising on communications to producing and being accountable for them.
You want sole ownership of an organization’s overarching communications strategy and brand. At GiveWell, the CEO and executive team owns that direction; you would help shape it and lead your function within it.
You want to lead a large team from day one. This team is small today, and much of the most difficult work will be yours to do directly.
You find standards of precision and understatement limiting and frustrating. We work extremely hard to only communicate accurately what we know and what we don’t.
Can I apply to more than one of the Senior Communications Officer roles?
You can, but most people shouldn’t. We’re looking for deep expertise in these areas, and we expect most candidates with required expertise will be a clear fit for a single role. If you’re one of the few with real depth in more than one area, apply to both and tell us why. Otherwise, apply for the role you are most qualified for, and we’ll let you know if we think another role might suit you better.
What does this interview process entail?
We’ll use a combination of interviews, written exercises, and work trials to assess the qualities described above. We’ll share more specific details if we invite you to move forward to any of the following stages, but our current plan will likely include the following:
Application
Interview with a member of the Talent Acquisition Team
Compensated work trial with a set maximum number of hours
Interview with GiveWell's Chief of Staff to the CEO
Values interview
CEO interview and References
Note that you don’t need to submit a cover letter. We rely heavily on your resume and answers to the application questions below when we’re making early decisions. We encourage you to spend time responding to the application questions thoroughly and carefully.

What You'll Do
As Senior Communications Officer, Media & Public Affairs, you will combine long-term strategy and relationship-building with the ability to respond quickly and exercise sound judgment in sensitive or fast-moving situations.
Specific duties will include:
Set GiveWell’s strategy across media, thought-leader engagement, online communities, public forums and events, and other earned communications opportunities—including deciding where and when GiveWell should participate and overseeing those engagements.
Build and maintain high-trust relationships with journalists, editors, podcast hosts, event organizers, thought leaders, subject-matter experts, and other influential external stakeholders.
Identify, develop, and pitch substantive stories, event opportunities, and thought-leadership ideas that extend understanding of GiveWell’s work.
Own inbound media engagement, including situations that require rapid responses, close coordination with subject-matter experts, and careful judgment about what GiveWell can responsibly say—and about which responses need escalation.
Build and maintain GiveWell’s readiness for sensitive or fast-moving situations, monitor emerging issues in media and public conversations, and lead our external response when needed in partnership with others.
Advise GiveWell’s leadership on external opportunities and relationships, and prepare senior leaders and subject-matter experts for interviews, speaking engagements, and other public appearances.
Exercise sound judgment about when and how GiveWell should enter public conversations, including evaluating likely value, reputational considerations, and communications risks.
Evaluate and help shape public-facing communications partnerships, advising on which opportunities GiveWell should pursue and how we should participate.
Serve as a spokesperson for GiveWell in select media interviews, events, and other public forums, communicating our perspective clearly, accurately, and with sound judgment.
Work with grantees and other partners on press releases and other media-facing communications involving GiveWell or our shared work.
Manage and develop one or two team members initially, and build the relationships, systems, and additional capacity the function will need over time.
About You
You are skilled at using communications to help people understand complex ideas, build trust, and take action. You are comfortable being accountable for outcomes, making consequential decisions with limited oversight, and knowing which decisions genuinely require escalation.

You know how journalists, influential voices, events, and other public forums shape how organizations and ideas are understood. You have a demonstrated ability to build meaningful external relationships, identify opportunities worth pursuing, personally represent an organization’s perspective, and navigate public-facing situations in which context is limited, timelines are short, and judgment matters. Much of this should be work you executed yourself, in addition to work you directed. Experience in settings where precision and credibility were at least as important as reach is a strong signal of fit.
In addition to demonstrated expertise in the duties listed above, you should have:
Exceptional communications judgment, including the ability to understand audience, context, risk, timing, and the underlying substance of a message.

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
ABOUT MODAL DESIGN:
Modal is building the future of serverless computing, and the brand that carries that story is still taking shape — You'll join Modal's newly formed Brand team inside our design org as one of its first senior hires, working directly with the Director of Brand Design and Head of Design to build a brand developers recognize instantly and remember.
THE ROLE:
As a staff-level Brand Designer, you will have major influence over every brand surface: the marketing website, campaigns, events, editorial projects like the GPU Glossary https://modal.com/gpu-glossary and forthcoming publications, and out-of-home work as we scale into larger formats. You'll also be a beacon to external agencies, representing Modal's internal creative voice and making sure the work translates into a system we can actually build on. And as the studio grows, you'll help set its craft standard — guiding and mentoring earlier-career designers and shaping how we critique, ship, and show work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Define and evolve Modal's visual identity across web, marketing, campaigns, and editorial — building a cohesive, distinctive system rather than one-off assets
- Lead concept and execution for brand campaigns across digital and out-of-home, from paid social to large-format outdoor, ensuring the work is consistent, distinctive, and built to perform
- Own branded experiences for events and GTM: environments, collateral, swag, and conference presence that feel unmistakably Modal
- Help codify the brand as it matures: design language, principles, and the rules that hold it together
- Mentor and critique the work of other designers, helping the studio's output stay coherent and ambitious as it scales
- Move quickly without sacrificing quality
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of brand design experience, building brands for technically complex products — developer tools, infrastructure, or AI. You know how to make something deeply technical feel compelling and clear.
- High influence, Low ego: You work well with others, share credit freely, and act as force for positivity within the brand team
- A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional typography, color, composition, and a recognizable point of view
- Experience designing brand systems that extend from identity to motion to web – the more the better
- Ability to interpret and contribute to brand strategy
- Someone who takes ownership seriously: you drive work to completion, raise the quality bar, and build structures that let others do the same
- Strong taste, and the ability to defend it. Has opinions, backs them up, takes feedback well

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Replit is where millions of people learn to build software - and our documentation and learning content are where they get going or give up. We're taking ownership of that experience, and we're looking for a Learning Experience Creator who can make it worthy of the product: someone who turns product knowledge into experiences people actually use - clear written docs, guided learning, short video, interactive experiences - findable at the moment of need, accurate every time, and genuinely enjoyable.
You're a learning-experience creator first. You understand how people actually learn a product - what they're trying to accomplish, where they get stuck, what format serves each moment - and you move fluidly between writing a crisp help article, designing a hands-on walkthrough, and producing a short video. Underneath it all, you're a storyteller: you know how to earn attention in the first few seconds, hold it against real-world attention spans, and make ideas stick - and sometimes make something people can't help but share. You're also a builder: unafraid to try new formats and experiment, you read the data and listen to customers, and you continually improve and evolve with speed as our product evolves. You'll turn complex things into simple, useful experiences, and you'll own how well they land.
The Mission: help every user - external customers and internal teams - self-serve to reach their creative and business goals, with content so good, so current, and so findable that they don't need to open a ticket. Success looks like real ticket deflection, faster activation, and high CSAT.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- New documentation and learning content. You'll populate our documentation and learning surfaces with new, accurate, plain-language content - help articles, answer-first FAQs, goal-based tutorials, and rebuilt getting-started paths - prioritized by real reader and ticket data, made at volume with the help of our AI- native content tools.
- The content lifecycle. Content isn't done when it ships. You'll keep the library current through every product launch - freshness reviews, launch-day updates, retiring what's stale - so nothing published contradicts the product. Our pipeline flags what's drifting; you own making it right.
- Learning experiences across formats. Written first where reading serves best - plus short-form video, microlearning, interactive courses, quick walkthroughs, GIFs, and in-product tips. You pick the format that fits the job, not the other way around, and you bring a storyteller's instinct for attention and memorability to every one - learning content competes with everything else on someone's screen, and yours wins. You keep pushing into new, innovative experiences as our tools grow.
- A content calendar built for effectiveness. You plan what gets made and when - covering the topics customers most need help with, sequenced for maximum impact, so the library actually answers the questions people are asking.
- Findability. You make sure content is easy to discover - titled, tagged, and structured so people (and the AI assistants that read our docs) find the right answer through search, at the moment of need. Great content nobody can find doesn't deflect anything, and this is yours to own.
- Engagement and outcomes. You care whether it worked - reader feedback, findability, completion and watch-through, self-serve resolution, deflection, CSAT - and you tune the calendar and the craft based on what the data and customers tell you.
- A recognizable voice. A consistent, human style across docs, learning, and video that makes every piece feel like part of one connected experience, whether someone reads a single article or completes a whole course.
HOW YOU'LL WORK WITH THE TEAM
This role is a force-multiplier - it makes the whole team's knowledge reach people. You won't work alone:
• With our Technical Customer Education Specialist for accuracy and depth - they bring the technical truth; you turn it into clear, findable content people trust and enjoy.
• With our Sr. Learning Experience Lead on what content is needed and what's working - they own the learning platform, journeys, and measurement; you read the same effectiveness data to steer the calendar.
• With our docs and product partners on launches - so new features ship with accurate, ready content on day one, not weeks later.
• With the hiring manager and the wider team to scale our content capability together, so the sum is greater than the parts.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• A proven learning-content creator. A portfolio of documentation, tutorials, courses, or product education that people actually used and learned from - across at least two formats, with written content among them. You understand clarity, structure, and story, and you can prove it.
• A strong writer. You make complex or dry topics genuinely clear and engaging in plain language, with warmth and a point of view. Docs people want to read are your craft.
• A gifted storyteller, across media. You understand hooks, pacing, attention spans, and what makes content memorable - sometimes shareable, occasionally viral - and you apply that craft to written, video, and interactive work alike. It shows up in a doc's first sentence as much as a video's first five seconds.
• A capable short-form video creator. Video is one of your formats - you understand watchability and modern platform sensibilities, and you're comfortable producing (on or off camera) with AI-assisted workflows.
• A builder and experimenter. You try new formats and ideas, take calculated content risks, glean insights from data and customers, and continually improve - determining the right approach even when the problem is ambiguous.
• Fast to learn a product. You get up to speed quickly and can represent it accurately to newcomers - you don't need to be a developer, but you make technical things make sense.
• Outcome-minded. You define what success looks like for your work, and you care about real results (deflection, activation, self-serve success, CSAT), not just output.
• A strong thought partner. You share ideas openly, seek other perspectives, and collaborate well across a small, fast team.
BONUS
• Experience writing or maintaining developer or product documentation (docs-as-code, Markdown-based platforms) - and a feel for content lifecycle at scale.
• Hands-on with AI-native build or content tools (Replit) and modern editing/production workflows.
• Instructional design fundamentals - you know why a checklist beats a paragraph and when a video beats both.
• A feel for discoverability and search - how people (and AI assistants) find content and how to help them.
• Experience running a content channel, editorial calendar, or creator program with an audience - bonus points if something you made really took off.

To achieve our mission of making programming more accessible around the world, we need our team to be representative of the world. We welcome your unique perspective and experiences in shaping this product. We encourage people from all kinds of backgrounds to apply, including and especially candidates from underrepresented and non-traditional backgrounds.
Location: San Francisco, CA or Remote, US
Descript's Research team builds the models behind the product's most distinctive features: Video Regenerate and lipsync, video translation, zero-shot voice and roomtone cloning, and Studio Sound. We don't build general-purpose generative models. We pick specific problems in the editing workflow and build specialized models for them. This isn't research for its own sake. Everything we build is meant to ship, and most of it has, going from prototype to a production feature used by millions of creators within months.
This role is focused on multimodal understanding: training models to perceive edited media the way a human video editor does. Underlord, our AI editing agent, reasons about a project largely through a textual representation of it. Giving it direct perception of the media it's working on is what will let it judge its own output and reason about the creative choices in an edit, not just the structure of a project. It's also an open research problem, since there's no settled way to represent or evaluate editorial craft, whether a cut lands or whether the pacing works. We have a unique dataset to work with.
Some recent work from the team:
Audio editing by latent inpainting
: regenerating a masked span of speech
Video Regenerate
: regenerating a speaker's lower face to match new or translated audio
Jumpcut Smoothing
: generating a bridge across a cut so the join plays like a continuous take
Anchored Tree Sampling
: tree-based imputation that bounds drift in long video generation
PoDAR
: disentangling power from semantics in audio latents to make them easier to model
More at
descript.com/research
.
What you'll do
Multimodal understanding:
build vision-language systems that let Descript's agentic editing features reason over the visual and audio content of a project.
Evaluation:
design the benchmarks and evals that make editorial quality measurable, and that balance quality against cost and latency.
Data:
build the datasets your work depends on, including synthetic data generation where real examples don't exist at scale.
Training:
train specialized models from scratch or fine-tune existing foundation models, whichever gets the capability we need.
Shipping:
take models from prototype to production with the agent and engineering teams.
Direction-setting:
identify the next research direction that should become a Descript feature, not just a paper. More senior candidates should expect to own this directly; more junior candidates will grow into it.
Publishing:
take your work to academic venues if you'd like. We support it, but it isn't a requirement of the role.
What you bring
Required
Proven ability to design and implement deep learning algorithms, demonstrated by publications, open-source work, or models you've shipped.
Strong programming skills and deep fluency in PyTorch.
A track record of generating new ideas in machine learning. You produce more ideas than you can implement, and once an experiment setup is established, you can run and evaluate many of them quickly rather than being bottlenecked on infrastructure.
Strong experimental judgment. You test ideas fast, and you're honest with yourself and the team about which ones don't pan out.
Clear written and verbal communication, including when a direction isn't working, so the team doesn't waste time following a lead that's already dead.
A PhD or Master's in deep learning or a related field, or equivalent experience. We care about the track record more than the credential.
At least one of the following must be true:
Lead or first author of an accepted publication in a top venue: CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or similar.
Played a key role in shipping a production feature with deep learning as a core component.
More senior candidates (Senior and Staff) should also bring a track record of owning research direction rather than executing a plan handed to them, and experience mentoring or technically leading other researchers or engineers.
Where breadth helps
Direct experience in multimodal understanding is welcome but not required, and we don't require domain-specific expertise in computer vision or speech and audio. Our team spans both, and strong general deep learning ability transfers. We hire against the bar above, and then expect you to grow into the domain. Depth in any of these is a strong signal:
Vision-language models and multimodal understanding.
Generative modeling for video, audio, or images.
Post-training, fine-tuning, and RL on large foundation models.
Building evaluation systems for generative or agentic outputs where metrics resist clean definitions.
Taking a research idea through to a shipped, production-facing feature.
Compensation and benefits
Base salary range: $197,000–$262,500, plus equity and benefits. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location, and level, and may vary from the amount above.

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
We're looking for an executive communications manager to shape Figma's story and how our execs tell it. You’ll partner with leaders across the business to turn early ideas into clear, compelling points of view and build platforms that only they can credibly own. From there you'll work with our comms team and Figmates across the company to get those stories told in the spaces and places where they’ll have the most impact.
A lot of the work is writing: essays, keynotes, social posts and op-eds. The rest is strategy: figuring out which ideas are worth developing, which audience needs to hear them, how a story travels and what makes people excited to share it.
This is a new role reporting to our VP of Communications. The ideal candidate will write and speak with the same precision and clarity they’d expect from the execs they support. They’ll know how to make someone sound sharp in a 140-character post and credible in a 3,000-word essay. You’ll operate with low ego, high conviction and the curiosity to uncover stories people want to hear and that our execs want to tell.
This is a full-time role based in San Francisco or New York City hubs.
What you'll do at Figma:
Build the narrative framework executives across the business use to tell Figma's story, and their own
Work with our comms team on media strategy, and bring sound judgment to messaging and channel selection
Partner with (and occasionally spar) with executives to sharpen their ideas and the broader point of view behind them
Build the system and infrastructure this function needs to keep our executive storytelling consistent and differentiated
Find ways to measure impact and drive a culture of experimentation in our exec comms
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Extensive experience crafting narratives for senior executives across formats, channels and audiences
A track record of writing for C-suite executives with strong opinions and high standards
Executive presence, and a track record of influencing people who don't report to you
Media relations experience and sound judgment on press, messaging and reputation
Comfort with ambiguity, deep curiosity and a record of shipping strong work
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
A journalism or editorial background, with an instinct for what's newsworthy and how a story reads to an outside audience
Experience in tech, creative pursuits and/or product design and development
Strong business literacy and the ability to translate complex financial and technical topics for a broader audience
Passion for Figma and what we do!
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Search is being rebuilt in real time. Millions of people now start with a question to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity, and the answer they get decides which products they try. When someone asks how to build an app, a website, or a tool for their business, Replit needs to be the answer.
We're hiring an AEO/GEO/SEO Lead to own how Replit gets discovered, across AI-generated answers and traditional search. This is a zero-to-one role. You'll define the strategy, then execute it yourself with AI-leveraged production, agency partners, and cross-functional teams behind you. You'll work daily with our Web, Growth, Brand, Content, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams.
The fastest-growing AI-native companies have already turned AI answers into a primary acquisition channel. Your mandate is to do the same for Replit: grow AI referral traffic into one of our largest sources of new builders, keep our traditional search presence compounding, and make Replit the platform AI assistants recommend when anyone wants to build software.
Replit moves fast. We ship continuously, experiment relentlessly, and aim to make every builder more productive and creative. We're looking for someone who thrives in that environment: part strategist, part operator, part scientist of a channel that changes every month.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the AEO/GEO Strategy Define where Replit must show up across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, for which prompts and buyer intents, and build the playbook to win those answers. Set targets, sequence the roadmap, and defend the strategy with data.
- Win Citations Across the Open Web LLMs cite what they trust: Reddit threads, YouTube videos, high-authority publications, community content, and well-structured owned pages. Build durable programs on each of these surfaces, understand the half-life of an AI citation, and keep Replit ranked as models retrain and retrieval systems shift.
- Run SEO End to End Own keyword strategy, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and content-driven organic growth in partnership with our Head of Web. Protect and grow search equity through a major site relaunch, and coordinate with our paid search team on keyword coverage.
- Build the Content Engine Produce and direct content designed for two readers at once: LLM crawlers and humans. Blogs, comparison pages, videos, and structured resources, created at volume with AI-assisted workflows and held to a high quality bar. The durable human work here is judgment: strategy, editorial quality, and distribution.
- Stand Up Measurement Build reporting for a channel that lacks perfect attribution: AI referral traffic, share of voice in AI answers, citation tracking, and downstream signups and revenue. Run controlled experiments, isolate what actually moves citations, and teach the rest of the company what you learn.
- Direct Agencies and Tools Own our agency and vendor relationships across search and AI visibility, plus the tool stack that powers tracking and production. Write the briefs, hold the quality bar, and decide what stays in-house.
YOU'LL BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:
- Have 4+ years in growth marketing, SEO, content, or technical marketing (SaaS, technology, or developer-focused businesses a plus)
- Have owned a channel end to end and can walk through what you built, what moved, and the numbers behind it
- Have taught yourself a new channel or skill from zero and turned it into shipped results
- Use AI daily as a builder (automations, agents, dashboards, small apps you can show) and are forming your own point of view on how AI assistants find and cite sources
- Have working technical SEO literacy (crawling, indexing, structured data, site architecture) and the appetite to go much deeper
- Write clearly and quickly, and can direct people, agencies, and AI tools to produce content that earns citations
- Have a founder mindset: you identify gaps and fill them, move quickly, don't wait for someone else to define the playbook, and dig into the details with low ego\\
Bonus Points:
- Shipped AEO/GEO work with results you can show, especially if you helped make AI answers an acquisition channel
- Earned presence on surfaces you don't own: Reddit communities, YouTube, digital PR
- Hands-on with AI visibility and citation tracking tools (Profound, Peec, Ahrefs Brand Radar, or similar)
- Programmatic SEO at meaningful scale
- You've built with Replit or other AI building tools and understand our audience firsthand

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.
We're looking for a Designer, Growth (Product Marketing) to sit at the intersection of brand, performance marketing, and generative media. This is not a brand systems or campaign concepting role — it's a high-volume, output-driven design role. You'll own the visual execution of paid and performance marketing across video, motion, and static formats, producing assets that are on-brand, well art directed and built to convert. You'll report to the Creative Director of Product Marketing.
Your work will directly shape how people first encounter and engage with Runway's products. That means producing scroll-stopping video ads, designing static and animated assets for paid social and display, and using generative tools — including Runway's own — as a core part of how you work. You'll partner closely with product marketing, growth, and creative teams, and you'll be measured on craft, throughput, and performance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and produce high volumes of performance marketing assets across video, motion, and static formats — paid social, display, YouTube and beyond
- Use Runway to ideate, create and iterate on video and image assets that are on-brand and well art directed — not just technically functional
- Own the visual execution of ad creative from concept through final delivery, working from briefs or generating your own directions when needed
- Produce motion graphics and animated ads that communicate product value quickly and compellingly
- Partner with the Product Marketing and growth team to develop integrated ad concepts where copy and design work together
- Build and iterate on creative variants for A/B and multivariate testing — adapting formats, hooks and visual treatments based on performance data
- Maintain a consistent visual language across all performance touchpoints without letting assets feel templated or stale
- Collaborate with product marketing on go-to-market launches, translating new product capabilities into visual stories that resonate with target audiences
- Hands-on experience designing for the major paid channels (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc) with fluency in each platform's native specs, aspect ratios and ad formats, and a real point of view on what works where.
- Own updates to GTM assets and templates, keeping them current and on-brand across campaigns. Bring hands-on experience building and automating deck design systems, so our presentations stay consistent without manual rework each time.
- Contribute to a growing library of on-brand design components, motion templates and generative prompting strategies that raise the team's overall output velocity
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 4+ years of experience in performance marketing design, motion design, or a related role at a tech or consumer company
- A portfolio that shows range across video ads, motion graphics and static performance creative — with clear evidence of craft and art direction judgment, not just execution
- Strong motion design skills — you're fluent in After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent, and can produce polished animated and video assets independently
- Solid graphic design fundamentals — typography, layout, color — applied to high-converting ad formats, not just editorial or brand work
- Hands-on experience using AI image and video generation tools with an art director's eye — you know how to prompt, iterate and finish work that looks intentional
- Comfort with performance data — you can look at creative metrics and know what visual changes to make next
- Ability to operate at high velocity across multiple simultaneous campaigns without sacrificing quality
- Experience working closely with growth marketers and product teams in a fast-moving environment
- Experience in AI, creative tools or developer-adjacent products is a strong plus
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
LangChain has strong technical credibility, a large developer community, and a lot worth saying. What we need now is someone to make sure we're saying it — consistently, strategically, and in ways that land.
We're looking for a Head of Narratives to own how LangChain shows up in the world across communications, brand, social, and design. This is a role for someone who thinks like a media company operator: always-on publishing, sharp editorial judgment, a clear point of view on the themes that matter, and a relentless focus on getting great narratives in front of the right people at the right time.
You'll lead an existing team of rockstars across brand, social, and design — each with deep expertise. Your job is to give the team a shared narrative direction, keep the output sharp and consistent, and make sure LangChain is building an audience that wants to hear from us.
This is a player-coach role. You'll set the direction but you'll also be in the work — shaping editorial, giving creative feedback, and reviewing and writing. The right person is opinionated about what good looks like and hands-on enough to help get there.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Communications
- Define the themes and narratives LangChain is hitting. Spearhead the direction on what LangChain should be known for and translate that into a rolling communications strategy the whole team is working from. This is the backbone of everything else.
- Own press and media relations. Kickstart our comms efforts, building and managing relationships with key journalists and outlets, drive proactive press coverage, and act as the point of contact for inbound media inquiries.
- Shape executive visibility and thought leadership. Identify the moments, platforms, and formats where LangChain's leaders should have a voice, and help them show up with a clear, consistent point of view.
- Lead announcement strategy. Plan and execute communications around major launches, funding, partnerships, and company milestones, working cross-functionally to make sure the story lands with the right audiences at the right time.
- Set and uphold the communications standard. Define LangChain's voice in the outside world and the quality bar for anything that goes out under its name.
Brand
- Shape brand direction in close partnership with the brand lead. The brand lead focuses on brand voice, visual identity, and standards. You'll work closely together to align on where the brand is headed, what it stands for, and how it shows up — with narrative and brand informing each other rather than operating separately.
- Stay close to major brand moments. Bring a point of view on concept and messaging for out-of-home, awareness campaigns, and other brand initiatives. Work with the brand lead to make sure what we're saying and how we're showing up are pulling in the same direction.
- Make sure brand and narrative feel like one thing. The brand should feel like a natural extension of the editorial point of view, and vice versa.
Social & Rich Media
- Partner with the social lead on strategy, themes, and goals. The social lead focuses on growing LangChain's social channels and ways to amplify our content and messaging. Work together to ensure social is amplifying the themes and narratives the broader team is driving.
- Shape LangChain's rich media approach together. Work with the social lead to develop a shared point of view on how video, audio, and other formats fit into the content mix — where they build audience, where they deepen credibility, and how to build the right execution muscle over time.
- Track what's working, what's not, and use it to sharpen direction. Stay close to performance across content, comms, brand, and social to have a better sense on where to focus, what narratives are resonating, and where to double down.
Brand Design
- Lead the creative direction for brand design in close partnership with our brand designer. Own the visual vision for how LangChain looks and feels — and work day-to-day with our brand designer to translate that into execution across campaigns, content, comms, social, and brand moments.
- Be a strong creative partner. Have a real point of view on what looks right, what earns trust with a technical audience, and where the work needs to go further. Give clear direction and help the designer do their best work.
- Keep visual identity consistent across every channel. A media company looks like itself everywhere it shows up. Make sure LangChain does too.
Team Leadership
- Lead by being in it. Develop your team by being close to the work — giving useful feedback, shaping output, and raising the bar through example.
- Build the operating rhythm. Establish the rituals and shared workflows — editorial planning, cross-functional reviews, publishing cadences — that help brand, social, comms, and design operate as a unit.
- Connect narrative to the rest of the business. Translate what marketing, sales, product, and leadership need into a narrative strategy your team can execute — and keep everyone aligned as priorities shift.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Ability to work like a media company operator. You think in publishing cadences, audience development, and narrative arcs — not just campaigns. You know what it takes to build an always-on narrative engine and keep it running at a high standard.
- Player-coach. You've led creative, comms, or content teams and know how to develop people — but you stay close to the work and make it better by being in it.
- Strong narrative instincts. You have a clear point of view on what makes a brand story work and can translate that into real direction across comms, brand, social, and design.
- Analytically grounded. You track what's working, form a view on why, and use that to make better decisions about where to focus. You connect creative work to business outcomes.
- Developer audience instincts. You understand what earns trust with technical audiences and can orient a creative team around that bar.
- Collaborative and clear. You work well with strong practitioners who own their domains — building alignment without stepping on what they own.
Nice to Have
- Experience leading narrative, brand, or comms teams at a developer-focused company
- Background in technical or developer marketing
- Familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem and the tools developers use to build
- Track record running brand campaigns, including out-of-home or awareness programs
Salary Range: $200K-$240K
Compensation Philosophy:
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile.
We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.
We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.
This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading.
THE ROLE
RevenueCat helps apps of all shapes and sizes make more money across mobile, the web, and a growing list of other platforms like Roku, Amazon, and even AR through support for Vision Pro. As a result, many different types of users log in and use RevenueCat on a day-to-day basis. Product managers, support reps, lifecycle marketers, user acquisition specialists, data analysts, executives: the list goes on.
Communicating the growing breadth of use cases supported by RevenueCat in a way that makes sense for all those different types of businesses, apps, and users is a challenge. And that’s where product marketing comes in.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our growing Product Marketing team led by Francie https://www.linkedin.com/in/francief/. Each Senior PMM owns a product area end-to-end, partnering with that area's product managers on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market. This is not a segment-specific role: RevenueCat serves everyone from solo indie developers to top-tier enterprise apps, often through the very same product surface, so you'll craft messaging and channels that flex across that full spectrum. This role is perfect for someone who:
- Knows APIs and SDKs like their ABCs. Code may not be your craft, but you know how to talk the talk. Software developers are one of our core audiences, and they can smell BS a mile away. You can debug marketing messaging so it resonates with technical audiences, and craft narratives around the 1’s and 0’s that still land with business stakeholders.
- Captains their own ship. You have a strong bias toward action and you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty on execution. Whether it’s juggling strategic and tactical work or navigating shifting priorities, you thrive on autonomy and love making things happen.
- Distills collaborative chaos. You’re comfortable raising your hand and getting what you need from a dynamic and technical organization. Whether it’s nudging engineers for product updates or rallying Sales for customer stories, you can navigate the chaos and advocate for what the GTM org needs.
- Gets excited about the unexpected. At RevenueCat we take shipping seriously, and are constantly adapting our product and strategies to meet the needs of developers. You see changes in direction and shifts in strategy as an opportunity to flex your creative muscles and learn on the fly.
- Is a little quirky. You love a whimsical side quest and you can see the soft side of software. We pride ourselves in keeping our community on their toes with unique swag, challenges and events. You can play as big a role as you’d like in helping to brainstorm and bring these quirky concepts to life.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- GTM and adoption campaigns: Own key product areas to deeply understand the features we’re launching and the use cases and needs behind them. Craft compelling communication plans both within the organization, and to existing and prospective customers.
- Lifecycle campaign building: Working with our marketing operations team to execute insight-based lifecycle campaigns to drive adoption, retention and community.
- Web page design and optimization: Translate product messaging and customer understanding into visually compelling and highly converting web experiences with the help of our external web development agency. You’ll chart the vision for the story our website tells and the illustrations, animations and tools we create to convey it.
- Case studies and testimonials: Organizing, facilitating, and translating customer interviews into compelling case studies and testimonials that showcase the value of RevenueCat.
- Internal enablement: As an expert in your areas of product focus, you’ll empower developer-facing teams with the resources and training they need to support developers and ensure their success.
- Market insights: Keeping your finger on the pulse of the mobile app industry and competitors to inform go-to-market strategies and uncover new opportunities for growth.
- Whimsical side quests: Taking on unique projects with minimal instruction, coordinating the collection of 1000 screenshots to launch Paywalls.com http://Paywalls.com, designing, printing and shipping a calendar of cat photos, hosting the World Paywall Speed Building Championships https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcnUYWLo-I4, or crafting a keynote speech for leadership. You’ll get to work on projects that stretch your creative muscles.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing within a B2B or B2D SaaS environment, preferably targeting developers or software companies. RevenueCat runs a hybrid motion - self-serve/PLG for indie developers alongside a sales-assisted motion for larger accounts - so experience with either end of that spectrum is valuable; you won't need to have done both to succeed here.
- Previous experience as a solo-marketer is preferred. While you’ll have the broader marketing and product marketing teams to lean on, our async, entrepreneurial culture is best suited to someone who is comfortable independently driving projects forward, making progress amid changing processes, and actively enlisting cross-functional support when needed.
- Experience owning end-to-end go-to-market efforts, including tier 1 product launches. Strong project management skills to prioritize multiple initiatives and execute effectively across teams.
- Strong creative instincts and direction. You’ve led the charge on web design work and aren’t afraid to sketch, prototype in Figma, or use AI tools to get to an ugly starting point. Comfortable collaborating with external creative agencies and freelancers to deliver high-quality assets.
- Excellent editorial judgment: you understand audience, tone, and communication objectives, and you can elevate copy through clear direction and feedback. You will not need to write everything yourself, but you’re comfortable jumping in to draft a narrative outline or even a blog post when necessary, and you know when to pass work forward to the content team or a technical writer
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders.
- A proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling messaging that resonates with different audiences, both internally and externally.
- The resourcefulness to take on unique, sometimes ambiguous projects that require initiative and problem-solving.
IDEALLY YOU:
- Have experience in the mobile app ecosystem or working with subscription-based software products.
- Have worked in an early-stage tech company or led new initiatives independently in a larger organization.
- Have experience working as a solo marketer or solo PMM within an organization.
- Are comfortable with tools like Notion, Slack, Zoom, and Linear for remote collaboration.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Gain hands-on experience with the RevenueCat platform, supported by our engineers and advocates.
- Build a foundational understanding of the app ecosystem, particularly around monetization.
- Establish relationships with key collaborators across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Deliver your “first ship,” a project that demonstrates your insights and adds real value to the team.
WITHIN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Step into the role as the go-to-market owner for your specific product areas, becoming an expert on relevant features, their roadmap and related market segments.
- Own the go-to-market efforts for product areas, leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of awareness and adoption efforts.
- Craft and distribute internal enablement materials and training related to your product areas.
- Publish a new landing page, leading the concept, briefing, design and written copy process, with execution by our web agency.
- Conduct customer research to deepen your understanding of our audience’s challenges and goals, and publish a customer case study.
WITHIN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Own and optimize the self-serve adoption funnel for your product areas, partnering with Growth and Product and leveraging lifecycle marketing to turn feature interest into activation and long-term retention.
- Level up your product area’s sales motion by revamping core pitch materials, competitive positioning, and objection handling.
- Partner with Product to translate customer and market insights into clear roadmap recommendations.
- Contribute to a whimsical side quest that adds to our brand and community.
AFTER 12 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be a trusted partner across Product, Sales, and Marketing, contributing strategically to RevenueCat’s growth.
- Have led multiple successful product launches, including a tier 1 launch, and owned key marketing initiatives.
- Represent RevenueCat at industry events and conferences
- Deepen your knowledge of app development and monetization, becoming an expert in the space.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator
- 10-year window to exercise vested equity options
- A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility
- 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually
- Paid desk at a co-working space
- Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend

Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated
Staff Technical Writer
to join our Product Documentation team as we support the company in achieving top-priority objectives & key results
Documentation at dbt is both a community asset and a foundational product surface. The Documentation team accelerates product adoption and user success by helping data practitioners learn, explore, and confidently use dbt.
We operate using a docs-as-code and docs-as-a-product approach within an open-source model, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Developer Experience, and customer-facing teams. By balancing deep product knowledge with a beginner’s lens, we not only create accurate, easy-to-read documentation for humans and bots alike, but also surface insights that drive product improvements.
In this role, you’ll help new users reach their “a-ha” moment faster, support experienced practitioners as they expand into new areas of the ecosystem, and uphold the clarity, accuracy, and trust that our community depends on.
If you are looking for an exciting opportunity at a collaborative, dynamic and fast-growing company, this role could be for you!
