Imunify360 Security Suite
is a product of CloudLinux Inc., the maker of the #1 OS in security and stability for hosting providers. Imunify is an innovative security solution designed specifically for shared and VPS/Dedicated servers. The automated, easy-to-use solution with the six-layer approach to security delivers comprehensive and complete attack prevention.
The mission
We protect web hosting providers and the sites running on their infrastructure through a defense-in-depth stack: web-server-layer WAF, runtime application self-protection for PHP, deep application integrations (WordPress plugins and similar), a malware scanner with cleanup capability, and network-layer firewalls and IP reputation. The pieces talk to each other, and the threat intelligence they generate at scale powers detection across the stack.
Node.js is the segment of the hosting market growing fastest, and the next layer we want to build for it is runtime protection inside the Node.js process itself. Most Node.js workloads on managed hosting today are AI-generated web apps deployed by non-technical owners who can't, won't, and shouldn't be expected to patch their own code or audit their own dependencies. We're going to defend those apps anyway — at runtime, without their cooperation, without breaking them.
You'll build that runtime protection layer end-to-end.
What you'll own
The product. A brand-new product line, yours to define — what we intercept, what we don't, what the customer-visible surface looks like.
The technical approach. Instrumentation strategy, deployment shape, programming language — all open. You'll consult with our architects but the direction is yours.
Implementation, end to end. You'll have the full tooling stack we provide — LLM subscriptions, modern dev infrastructure, the works. Use what makes you fast.
Methodology. How you build conviction in your detection logic — your call.
Cross-layer signal. Our existing stack produces threat intelligence at unmatched scale: tens of millions of monitored sites, petabyte-scale malware sample storage, real-time domain and URL reputation, IP-level attack feeds. These are available for you to plug into. Use what helps.
How we'll measure success
The product is held to four numbers: runtime overhead, false positives, false negatives, and customer-escalation volume. They reflect what hosting providers and their customers care about. Hit them well and the product runs inside a meaningful slice of the modern Node.js web.
What we're looking for
An experienced researcher or engineer who can build and iterate on a brand-new product, driving both the research and the development. The hard part of this work is knowing what's malicious, what's vulnerable, and what's just an unusual but legitimate pattern — and being right about it across the long tail of frameworks, libraries, and customer code we'll encounter in production.
Requirements
Must have:
Proven experience building and shipping a new product, security solution, major feature, or technical system from scratch.
Strong evidence of end-to-end technical ownership, from initial investigation and architecture through implementation, release, and production iteration.
Strong web application security knowledge and current knowledge of practical exploitation.
A working sense of how detection rules behave at scale — what catches attackers without flagging the long tail of legitimate code.
Ability to start as the PM, architect, lead engineer, and QA for this product. You ask for resources or help when you need them; you don't wait to be told what to do.
Comfort directing AI coding agents to high-quality output.
Nice to have:
Prior work on runtime-protection products, application firewalls, or instrumentation tooling.
Background in malware analysis or incident response.
Familiarity with managed-hosting environments.
Public security research, vulnerability disclosures, or detection rulesets you've authored.
Familiarity with the Node.js runtime and the JavaScript ecosystem.
What it's not
Not a scope-and-handoff role — you drive the work and own the outcome.
Not a "platform team will productize this later" role — you ship to real customer fleets and watch the telemetry quickly.
Not a spec-and-review role — you are hands-on every day.
Why this matters
Most managed-hosting customers are not developers. They cannot patch their apps. They cannot audit their dependencies. They will keep deploying vulnerable code from AI assistants because that's how modern web apps get built now. The textbook advice — "secure your code, audit your dependencies" — does not apply to them.
If we don't intercept exploits at runtime, nobody will. The numbers you hit on detection, performance, and false positives will materially affect how much of the modern web stays online when the next exploit class drops.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is working on frontier AI systems that handle sensitive information at enormous scale. How we protect that data, and how we build privacy into our systems rather than bolting it on afterward, is central to our mission of building AI that is safe and beneficial.
This is a foundational role. As one of our first dedicated privacy engineers, you will help establish the privacy engineering function at Anthropic and shape how privacy is designed into our AI systems from the ground up. You'll sit within our Data Infrastructure team, architecting privacy-preserving systems, leading the implementation of privacy-enhancing technologies across our infrastructure, and providing technical leadership on privacy across engineering, research, and product teams.
You'll work at the intersection of privacy engineering, AI safety, and distributed systems, solving problems that don't yet have established answers. This is a senior individual contributor role with high autonomy and broad influence.
Key responsibilities
Design and implement privacy-preserving architectures for AI training and inference systems operating at very large scale, using techniques e.g. differential privacy, federated learning, and secure multi-party computation
Partner with researchers to implement privacy-preserving training methods that protect user data while maintaining model quality
Build foundational privacy infrastructure, including automated data discovery, classification, access controls, audit logging, and lifecycle management
Translate regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, the EU AI Act) into technical implementations and automated compliance controls
Architect data governance systems for tracking data lineage, purpose limitation, and retention across distributed AI systems
Lead privacy reviews and threat modeling for new models and features, identifying risks and designing scalable mitigations
Partner with product and infrastructure teams to embed privacy controls into Claude's inference systems, user interfaces, and data pipelines
Develop privacy engineering toolkits and frameworks that enable other engineers to build privacy-preserving features by default
Design privacy-preserving analytics and measurement systems that surface useful insights without exposing individual user data
Evaluate emerging privacy technologies from academia and industry, and contribute to open-source tooling and AI privacy standards
Advise on and advocate for privacy practices as a core part of how we approach AI safety
Minimum qualifications
Experience applying privacy engineering principles in production systems, including privacy by design, data minimization, and purpose limitation
Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages, with experience building and operating production systems at scale
Experience designing and implementing privacy infrastructure for systems with a large user base
Experience with data governance, classification, or data lifecycle management systems
Experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure at scale
Understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and the ability to translate legal requirements into technical designs
Experience conducting privacy reviews, threat modeling, or risk assessments
Written and verbal communication skills sufficient to build alignment across engineering, research, legal, and product teams
Preferred qualifications
Hands-on experience with privacy-enhancing technologies (e.g., differential privacy, homomorphic encryption, secure enclaves, secure multi-party computation)
Experience building privacy infrastructure or controls for machine learning or AI systems
Experience establishing a privacy engineering practice, or being an early hire in a function
Experience serving as a technical lead on complex, multi-quarter projects
Contributions to open-source privacy tooling, privacy research, or industry standards
12+ years of experience in a software engineering role, including building and operating large-scale infrastructure
3+ years of experience leading large, complex projects as a technical lead

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to serve as a dedicated communications partner to our Core Tech organization (the teams building and securing the systems behind Claude, from engineering and infrastructure to security). Depending on your background and where the need is greatest, your portfolio might center on security, on engineering more broadly, or span both - we'll shape that together during the hiring process.
Internal communications at Anthropic is not a support function that plans meetings and sends newsletters. The best people in this role operate like advisors who embed themselves deeply in the orgs they support, earn a seat at the leadership table, write on behalf of executives, and see around corners, anticipating what the organization will need to hear before anyone asks for it. There are traditional elements to the role too, like all-hands planning and org change announcements, and you'll run those with operational excellence. But the heart of the job is more creative and will require you to find ways to connect the rest of the company to some of the most consequential and least visible work at Anthropic, and making the line between that work and our mission clear and strong.
The work of Core Tech is deeply technical and the company depends on it (like architecting new products for Claude to reach users, model inference, capacity planning, building reliable systems, and the security that protects all of it) but most employees rarely see this work directly…unless something goes wrong. Your job is to change that by understanding this work, and the people doing it, well enough to tell its story credibly, and to help its leaders communicate with clarity and candor as the company scales.
Responsibilities
Own the internal communications strategy for your portfolio within Core Tech, becoming an expert in the team's work and a trusted member of its leadership team
Serve as a hands-on advisor to executives - help them think through what to say and when, draft communications in their voice, and give them honest counsel, especially in moments when that’s challenging or uncomfortable.
Translate deeply technical work into narratives that land with employees across every function, without losing the substance
Get creative about how you connect people to the work - don't default to creating a slide deck when a demo or something no one has tried yet would land better
Anticipate communications needs before they arrive (e.g. launches, incidents, organizational change, moments of external attention) and have a plan ready for how we’ll bring employees along
Design and implement strategies to boost signal and reduce noise, so employees know what's important and what it means for them
Plan and execute internal fora like all-hands and AMAs with operational excellence
Exercise sound judgment with sensitive material, especially where security work requires care about what is shared, with whom, and when
Partner closely with the broader internal communications team to ensure updates are accurately and consistently cascaded across existing channels and live forums
You may be a good fit if you
Have 8–12 years of experience in communications or an adjacent craft where you learned to make complex, high-stakes material clear under pressure (e.g journalism, speechwriting, chief of staff work, strategy and operations)
Are an exceptional writer with a particular talent for distilling technical decisions and cross-functional projects into simple, compelling narratives, and can write convincingly in someone else's voice
Have served as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and know how to build those relationships: when to push, when to listen, and how to deliver a recommendation even when it’s something an exec may not want to hear
Can embed credibly with engineers and security practitioners. You are curious about how technical systems work, ask good questions, and earn the trust of people who may be skeptical of comms by default
See the big picture and are able to connect individual team updates to company strategy and mission
Have a keen eye for organizational culture and can recognize authentic moments worth amplifying
Strong candidates may also
Have experience communicating about security, infrastructure, or other deeply technical domains
Have worked at AI companies, frontier tech companies, or other organizations where the technical work moves faster than most people can follow
Have built or run internal communications programs during periods of rapid organizational growth

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Anthropic's international footprint is expanding rapidly — new entities, new markets, and commercial arrangements of unusual scale and novelty. The Tax team is hiring its first dedicated leader for US international tax reporting and compliance, a role that owns the US international components of our global income tax provision and our US international compliance program end to end, reporting to our global provision lead.
You will be the technical authority on how US international tax rules apply to a frontier AI company: modeling net CFC tested income (NCTI, formerly GILTI), the FDDEI (formerly FDII) deduction, BEAT, Subpart F, and foreign tax credits through the provision each quarter, and standing up a compliance process that scales with the company. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will build the calculations, the controls, and eventually the team, while partnering closely with Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and our Big 4 advisors.
Key responsibilities
Own the US international components of the quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provision: NCTI/GILTI, Subpart F, FDDEI/FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credit computations, Section 861 expense allocation and apportionment, E&P and PTEP tracking
Own outside basis difference analysis and indefinite reinvestment assertions under ASC 740-30, and US international aspects of valuation allowance and uncertain tax position assessments
Design and operate SOX controls over the international provision process and support the financial statement audit with our external auditors
Lead preparation and review of the US international tax return workpapers and forms — today Forms 5471, 8992, and 926, expanding to Forms 1118, 8858, 8865, 8991, and 8993 as the international footprint and tax profile grow — including elections, statements, and disclosures, working with our co-sourced Big 4 compliance provider
Support US withholding tax compliance (Forms 1042/1042-S) and cross-border payment analysis
Build a compliance calendar, data pipelines, and review procedures that keep pace with new entities and transactions; drive automation and tax technology adoption (including AI tooling)
Assist the tax planning and M&A teams on modeling the US international tax consequences of new market entry, entity structuring, intercompany and transfer pricing arrangements, financing, and M&A — from diligence through integration
Monitor and model legislative and regulatory developments (OBBBA implementation guidance, Pillar Two interaction with the US system) and model their provision and cash tax impacts for leadership
Manage outside advisors, support audit defense and controversy on US international issues, and mentor and develop tax team members
Minimum qualifications
Have substantial US international tax experience serving or working in multinational software and technology companies, with a combination of Big 4 public accounting and in-house corporate tax department experience
Have deep technical command of US international tax law — NCTI/GILTI, Subpart F, FDDEI/FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credits, E&P/PTEP, Section 861 allocation — and of ASC 740 as it applies to those items, including ASC 740-30 outside basis analysis
Have owned both the provision and the compliance sides of a US international tax function at scale, including reviewer-level command of Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8991, 8992, and 8993
Hold a CPA and/or JD; a Master's in Taxation or LLM is a plus
Communicate complex technical positions clearly to auditors, executives, and non-tax partners, and are comfortable being the sole authority on your domain
Thrive in a high-growth, high-ambiguity environment where the fact pattern is often novel and the process has to be built, not inherited
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Pillar Two data and modeling and its interaction with US rules
Experience with the tax aspects of large, novel commercial arrangements — infrastructure and compute agreements, strategic investments, or complex equity structures
Hands-on experience with tax technology and an interest in applying AI tools to tax workflows
Pre-IPO readiness or public company reporting experience at a multinational software company
M&A experience spanning diligence, structuring, purchase accounting, and post-close integration
