Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Baseten's GTM org is in hyper growth. As it grows and matures, the needs of the GTM stack get more sophisticated with scale — and this team exists to stay ahead of those needs.
This role owns a core set of the platforms the field runs on. You'll administer, configure, and continuously improve them, build AI and automation on top of the CRM to keep it clean and current, and run the adoption programs that make sure the field actually uses what we put in front of them. We're an AI-native company scaling fast, and we want to add sophistication without adding drag — you'll be the person deciding how much system is enough.
This isn't a classic Salesforce admin role. You know the ecosystem, but you come at it as a builder and an orchestrator, not a ticket-taker.
Central RevOps is the systems and operations center of excellence for Baseten's GTM org. The stack includes Salesforce, Pylon, Outreach, Sales Navigator, Clay, and a growing set of AI-native GTM tools. The field is scaling fast, and the systems need to mature with it without slowing anyone down.
You'll co-own Salesforce with our other GTM Systems Manager and work alongside a GTM Engineering team who builds internal AI products for GTM productivity — plus partner closely with sales leadership and the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own adminship, configuration, and enablement for Pylon, Gong, Sales Navigator, Outreach, and Prospect. These platforms are yours end-to-end — configured well, enabled with the field, and continuously improved as needs grow.
- Run adoption, license forecasting, and vendor management for each of those systems. Own the adoption programs that get the field using them, forecast license needs ahead of growth, and manage the vendor relationships and renewals.
- Co-own Salesforce. Partner with our other GTM Systems Manager to keep the CRM configured for how sales actually runs, and act as backup for Deal Operations processes.
- Build AI and automation on top of the CRM. Stand up agents and automations that update and maintain the CRM — keeping data clean, current, and trustworthy without adding manual work.
- Drive adoption, not just deployment. Document what you build, enable the field, and measure success by whether people actually use it.
- Right-size the process. Add just enough structure to scale the company without slowing the field down. Have a point of view on where process helps and where it just gets in the way.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years in GTM systems, RevOps, or sales/business systems — owning platforms and process end-to-end
- Experience building AI and automation on top of a CRM — you've built agents or automations that update and maintain CRM data, not just configured fields
- Hands-on adminship and configuration experience across a multi-tool GTM stack (support ops, engagement, prospecting, and enrichment tools)
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and data model — enough to co-own the CRM — without wanting to be a career admin
- A real appetite for enablement — you care whether the field uses what you build, and you'll run the adoption programs to make sure it does
- Experience owning vendor relationships, renewals, and license planning
- Judgment on process — you can tell structure that helps the field from structure that slows it down, and you right-size accordingly
- Experience in high-growth B2B technology companies, ideally scaling systems as the field grows fast
NICE TO HAVE
- Fluency with AI and automation tooling (Claude, Clay, n8n, or similar) as a builder, not just a user
- Familiarity with a data warehouse and BI environment (Sigma, Hex, BigQuery, Snowflake) on the data layer
- Hands-on experience with Pylon
- Exposure to Deal Operations, CPQ, or quote-to-cash processes as a backup or contributor
- You've inherited a sprawling, redundant stack and made it more intentional without breaking what works
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)

THE ROLE
We're looking for an exceptional Motion Designer to help bring the Baseten brand to life.
This will be a defining role on the brand design team. You'll shape the motion language for Baseten and bring it to life across everything from product launches and social video to huge out-of-home campaigns, events, web, and experimental brand work.
We're building a brand in a market that's moving fast, and we want the work to feel just as ambitious. This isn't a role focused on turning out one-off animations or supporting an existing system - you'll help define and build the system, push it into places we haven’t thought about, and set the bar for motion across the company.
You'll partner closely with brand, product, marketing, and leadership to turn technical ideas into work that's clear, distinctive, and memorable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and evolve the motion language for the Baseten brand.
- Create high-craft motion work across product launches, social, campaigns, web, events, and out-of-home.
- Concept and produce video content that makes highly technical products feel compelling.
- Think at every scale, from a five-second social clip to a Times Square takeover.
- Partner with brand designers to bring identity systems, typography, illustration, and product storytelling to life through motion.
- Experiment with new formats, tools, techniques, and emerging technology to push the brand into unexpected places.
- Build motion systems and principles that scale across the company.
- Work closely with product and product marketing to make launches feel like moments.
- Raise the bar for motion craft across everything Baseten puts into the world.
REQUIREMENTS
- An exceptional portfolio with a high bar for motion, visual design, and craft.
- Strong design fundamentals across typography, composition, pacing, sound, and storytelling, not just animation technique.
- Ability to own a project end to end, from rough concept through storyboarding, design, animation, and final production.
- Range across brand systems, product storytelling, campaign work, and more experimental ideas.
- Judgment about when something needs to be simple and precise and when there's room to make something people haven't seen before.
- Strong opinions about motion and brand, and the ability to articulate why something works or doesn't.
- Enthusiasm for technical products and the ability to communicate complex ideas without falling back on generic "AI" visuals.
- Comfort with a lot of ownership and ambiguity, and a high bar for quality.
- You want to help build a brand, not just execute against one.

THE ROLE
We're looking for a Web Designer / Design Engineer to own baseten.co http://baseten.co day to day, from concept through production. You'll design and build landing pages, bring product launches to life, run experiments, improve conversion, and keep raising the quality bar on the site.
This is a high-ownership role on the brand design team, sitting between brand design and frontend engineering. We want the website to be one of the best expressions of the Baseten brand and one of the best developer-focused sites on the internet, which means treating it as a product that's constantly evolving rather than something we redesign every few years. You'll have a lot of autonomy to ship, while partnering closely with brand, product marketing, engineering, and leadership on bigger launches.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the design and frontend implementation of the Baseten marketing site.
- Ship landing pages, product pages, launches, and campaigns from concept through production.
- Improve the site continuously, finding and acting on opportunities to make it better rather than waiting for a redesign cycle.
- Partner with growth and product marketing to test messaging, layouts, and conversion improvements without sacrificing craft.
- Build polished interactions, motion, and details that make the site feel distinctly Baseten.
- Build and evolve the components, patterns, and design systems that let the team move quickly without lowering the bar.
- Turn complex technical products into clear, compelling web experiences.
- Prototype ambitious interactive and experimental ideas when a launch calls for it.
- Make it dramatically easier for the brand and marketing teams to get great work onto the internet.
- Set the bar for web design and frontend craft across the company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluency in modern frontend development: React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Ability to move from Figma into code and own the final result in production.
- Deep attention to typography, layout, interaction, motion, and responsiveness.
- Systems thinking, with a track record of building reusable components and patterns instead of solving every page from scratch.
- Comfort experimenting, iterating, and using data to make a site more effective without turning it into a growth hack.
- Interest in technical products and the ability to make complex ideas feel clear without flattening them.
- Strong opinions about the web, and the ability to articulate why something works and why it doesn't.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with motion design, animation, or WebGL.
- Experience with Three.js, React Three Fiber, shaders, or creative coding.
- Experience building developer-focused or deeply technical websites.
- Experience working with DatoCMS.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)

THE ROLE
Baseten is looking for a Product Designer to help shape the next generation of our platform. You'll join a small design team with a lot of ownership and a high bar for craft, working across the entire Baseten product to solve hard problems for technical users.
This role covers the full arc of the work: early exploration through production. You'll establish patterns that show up across the product, evolve our design system, and raise the quality bar as we scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead product design end to end, including research, product definition, prototypes, design reviews, specs, and final implementation.
- Work directly with engineering and product to frame problems, explore solutions, and ship quickly.

About the Role
Hi, I'm Roxy, and I lead GTM Recruiting here at
Customer.io
! I'm looking for a
Senior GTM Recruiter
to join my team! This is a full life-cycle role, with a heavy lean towards sourcing. Sourcing will be a huge majority of the job: building candidate lists, running targeted outreach, and personally engaging the passive Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Business Operations talent who aren't checking job boards. We're not looking for someone to run high volume across a wide net. We're looking for someone who can go deep on a small, well-defined set of roles and build the kind of relationships that convert hard-to-reach GTM talent.
What We Value
Ownership:
You don't wait to be told what needs attention. You track your pipeline, know where things are slipping, and fix it before anyone has to ask.
Targeted over broad:
You'd rather have real conversations with the right ten people than send outreach to a hundred. You know the difference between a role that needs volume and one that needs precision.
Partnership:
You work with hiring managers as a true thought partner, pushing back when a role needs recalibrating and bringing market data when it says something different than the brief.
High standards with real output:
You move quickly without cutting corners on candidate experience or rigor.
What You'll Do
Source and personally engage passive GTM candidates directly, including candidates who are not actively job searching and would not otherwise apply
Build and run targeted search strategies for a number of open, hard-to-fill GTM roles (Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, Business Operations) rather than a high-volume requisition load
Own full-cycle recruiting for roles end to end, from candidate list and outreach through offer and close
Partner with GTM hiring managers to define candidate profiles, calibrate expectations against the current market, and adjust search strategy in real time
Deliver a high-touch, high-quality candidate experience from first outreach through offer
Bring market insight on GTM talent availability and compensation to hiring conversations
Use AI tools to sharpen search strategy and speed up sourcing research, so more of your time goes to actual conversations
What We're Looking For
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with 3+ years specifically in GTM roles
(Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, or RevOps.)
A track record of personally sourcing and closing majority of your hires through outbound outreach
(not inbound applicants) over the last 12 months, including passive candidates who weren't actively job searching.
Experience owning 10+ concurrent GTM searches at a time
, rather than a high-volume req load — with an average time-to-fill you can speak to.
Direct sourcing and recruiting experience across at least 2 of these 4 functions
: Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, Business Operations.
Deep GTM business acumen
— you can speak concretely about what makes someone great in a specific GTM function, not just whether they seem like a fit.
Regular, self-directed use of AI tools in sourcing or search strategy
— able to give 1-2 specific examples of what changed in your workflow (e.g., faster candidate list-building, sharper Boolean strings, more relevant outreach personalization.)
Comfortable operating without a team
— This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports; you'll own your searches end to end.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $142,000 - $170,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.
We know our people are what make us great, and we're committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including
100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family
. We also offer
16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO
, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.
See full benefits here →
Our Process
No gotchas, no trick questions, just a clear, human process designed to help both of us decide if this is a good fit.
30 minute Zoom call with Hiring Manager
45 minute Zoom call with TA Leader
60 minute Zoom call, prompt exercise and review session with various members of our People Team
30 minute Zoom call with GTM Leader
All final candidates will be asked to complete a background check and employment verification as part of our pre-engagement process.

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is very widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT. Our customers include the world's leading public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders in many sectors. The company is a pioneer of global distributed collaboration, with 1200+ colleagues in 75+ countries and very few office based roles. Teams meet two to four times yearly in person, in interesting locations around the world, to align on strategy and execution.
The company is founder led, profitable and growing.
Canonical builds the open-source software that runs the world’s clouds, devices and AI, and we hold our managers to a high standard. Our Talent Development team exists to make leaders and managers at Canonical genuinely excellent. We define what great management looks like here, and we put that standard into the hands of managers and leaders across the company.
The Organisational Development Associate is where our most driven early-career people begin. From day one you work with real teams and take on real change, coached hard by senior practitioners on a fast path toward running this work yourself. This is not a support or back-office role, and it is not generalist HR. We hire for potential, drive and coachability over a polished CV, and we back the people we hire to move fast.
Applying to this role will enter you into our People Track for consideration across roles in the function.
Location
: These are remote based positions, available across EMEA and the Americas.
The role entails
Being embedded inside a real team: see how it works day to day, and surface what is and isn't working.
Running the diagnostics on a team's health and management effectiveness (engagement, 360, direct feedback), and turning the evidence into a clear, honest read.
Owning an improvement end to end: a concrete change to how a team works that you design, drive and land, with a senior practitioner alongside you.
Supporting managers in delivering effective 360 performance feedback to individuals and helping them turn it into two or three real commitments they follow through on.
Helping build the playbook: the standards, tools and shared language the whole function runs on. You are building the system others use, not producing filler.
Learning coaching and organisational development directly from senior practitioners, on a fast, visible path to running this work yourself.
What we are looking for in you
A track record of leading and organising early. You have run things, built things, won people over and made change happen, in a startup, a student society, the military, a team, anywhere. People around you already see you as a driver.
A deliberate pull toward developing people and organisations. You chose this field on purpose, with a real grounding in organisational or industrial psychology, behavioural science or a comparable basis. It is not a fallback.
Drive and eagerness to learn. You have your own ideas and the confidence to challenge, and you are hungry to be coached and to grow fast.
The presence to sit across from experienced people and talk about change with confidence.
An exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
Up to around two years of experience since graduating.
Business level written and spoken English.
Organised, accurate, confident, authentic, results-oriented, and enthusiastic.
Sincere personal motivation aligned with our mission.
Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
In addition we expect that you will match our values, by being:
Precise, taking care to deliver correctness and clarity.
Reliable, delivering high quality work that builds trust and confidence.
Accessible, collaborating to build products and systems that are usable.
Adroit, blending enthusiasm, knowledge, adaptability, style and character.
Nice-to-have skills
Any exposure to people, organisational, coaching or consulting work, through study, an internship or a first job.
A genuine interest in the craft of management and organisations, not just the subject matter.
Comfort working with data.
What we offer colleagues
We consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide. We revisit compensation annually (and more often for graduates and associates) to ensure we recognise outstanding performance. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven annual bonus. We provide all team members with additional benefits, which reflect our values and ideals. We balance our programs to meet local needs and ensure fairness globally.
Distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person.
Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year.
Annual compensation review.
Recognition rewards.
Annual holiday leave.
Maternity and paternity leave.
Employee Assistance Programme.
Opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues.
Priority Pass, and travel upgrades for long haul company events.

About Scorewarrior
Scorewarrior is an independent game studio with a single mission: to excite and unite players all over the world. For over 10 years they've been pursuing it through Total Battle — a product they continue to actively and successfully grow. The team consists of 230 self-motivated professionals who know and love their craft, and the company has recently begun an active company-wide adoption of AI tools. Their home is a great office in Limassol, Cyprus. They offer a strong relocation package for you and your family, and put real effort into making life on the island genuinely varied and interesting.
Location & format:
Onsite — Limassol, Cyprus. Full relocation support provided.
The mission of this role:
This is a hands-on engineering role: you design and implement solutions yourself, working side by side with Infrastructure, DevOps, and development teams. Leadership experience is not required here and not expected.
Key objectives:
— Strengthen cloud and infrastructure security in practice: secrets management, audit logging and controlled production access.
— Close high-impact risks: start from an honest assessment of the current state and build a consistent picture of gaps and risks as you go.
— Work secure-by-default: wherever possible, remove the security burden from teams through automation and platform-level solutions rather than rules and manual procedures.
— Roll up your sleeves: dive into what Infrastructure, DevOps, and development teams are building right now, understand it from the inside, and make security part of it.
Job requirements:
— Real experience building platform and infrastructure security — you have designed and implemented security solutions yourself: not audited or monitored them, and you can walk us through the architecture, the decisions, and what you'd do differently.
— Cloud security as your core strength: Recent hands-on experience securing cloud environments.
— A strong infrastructure background. You may have grown entirely within security engineering or moved into security from DevOps, SRE, system administration, or network engineering. What matters is that your thinking is an engineer's thinking: architecture first, building over prescribing.
— The ability to explain risks with facts. You have real cases where you make technical teams see why a risk matters and why a change is needed through evidence, architecture, and concrete scenarios.
— AppSec, SIEM, and SOC experience are useful but secondary.
Nice to have:
— Infrastructure-as-Code in practice.
— Container and Kubernetes security experience.
— Scripting and automation as a habit: Python, Go, or Bash — you'd rather automate a control than write a procedure for humans to follow.
— GCP specifically. Their stack is GCP; deep experience with it will shorten your path to impact, though strong AWS/Azure experience translates well.
— Experience with securing AI tool usage.
Who this role is NOT for:
— Your current focus is on monitoring, alert triage and incident analysis.
— Your specialization is threat research, malware analysis, cryptography, or lab-style cybersecurity.
— Your recent work is mostly paper security: policies, compliance documents, and audits.
— You are looking for a management track or ownership of a security function right now — strategy and team building belong to the security leadership role they're hiring separately.
Why join Scorewarrior?
— 99% employee satisfaction, low turnover, and colleagues who genuinely enjoy collaborating.
— Live and work in sunny Cyprus with full relocation and visa support for you and your family.
— Shape a global hit: the only European studio with a 4X strategy title in the world’s top-10.
— Grow fast in a company that’s already strong, independent, financially rock-solid, and expanding at startup speed, with no layoffs.
— Flat structure, collective decision-making, and honest feedback create full transparency and help you grow fast.
— High salaries, a 13th month, performance bonuses, and extra rewards for long service, marriage, or welcoming a child, and lunch every day.
— Private family health insurance, plus a monthly allowance for children’s pre-school, school, and university education.
— Specialized training and certifications, language courses and books to support your growth.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
We're looking for a Director, Product Design to lead the day-to-day operations of Replit's Product Design organization, reporting to the Co-Founder & Head of Design.
This is a true player-coach role for someone who loves building products as much as leading people. You'll lead and develop a talented team of product designers while remaining deeply embedded in the work itself. You'll whiteboard with designers, navigate complex product decisions.
The Co-Founder & Head of Design remains closely involved in design critique and product quality. Your role is to lead the day-to-day design organization by creating the structure, alignment, and momentum that enable exceptional work. You'll stay two to three layers deeper than the Co-Founder & Head of Design on active initiatives, surfacing the context, tradeoffs, and insights needed to make thoughtful decisions without requiring constant immersion in every project.
Success in this role requires exceptional product judgment, strong design taste, technical fluency, and a collaborative approach. You're someone who naturally connects disciplines, elevates the people around you, and makes both the work and the team better every day.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Lead the day-to-day operations of Replit's Product Design organization, ensuring work is aligned, prioritized, and delivered to an exceptionally high standard.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of product designers, helping them grow their craft, confidence, and impact.
- Shape and elevate the customer journey
- Work alongside designers every day by whiteboarding ideas, exploring alternatives, reviewing work in progress, and solving complex product and interaction challenges.
- Stay deeply informed across active initiatives, surfacing the context and insights that enable the Co-Founder & Head of Design to engage quickly in meaningful design critique and high-impact product decisions.
- Raise the quality of product design through thoughtful feedback, exceptional craft, and strong design taste.
- Help evolve Replit's design practices, workflows, and team culture while preserving the speed and flexibility of a high-growth company.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard exceptional product design talent as the organization grows.
WHO YOU ARE
You're a builder first and a manager second.
You enjoy being close to the work, helping designers think through difficult problems, and making good teams even better. You're equally comfortable sketching ideas on a whiteboard, giving thoughtful design feedback, coaching a designer through a difficult challenge, or partnering with engineering on implementation details.
You combine exceptional product judgment with strong design taste and technical fluency. You're collaborative, humble, curious, and energized by helping great work happen.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant experience leading product design teams within high-growth technology companies.
- Proven ability to balance people leadership with meaningful hands-on product design contribution.
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, interaction design, product thinking, and systems thinking.
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering to deliver technically sophisticated products.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional product development in fast-moving environments.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong design taste, sound judgment, and a bias toward action.
- Experience simplifying complex technical products into elegant, approachable user experiences.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience designing developer tools, technical products, or software creation platforms.
- Experience building AI-powered products or AI-native workflows.
- Coding experience or strong technical curiosity.
- Experience growing design teams in startup or scale-up environments.
- Active use of AI throughout your design process.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
This isn't a traditional design leadership role.
We're looking for someone who thrives in the work, not above it. Someone who enjoys solving problems alongside designers, building strong partnerships across Product and Engineering, and bringing the depth of context that allows the Co-Founder & Head of Design to focus on the moments where their perspective has the greatest impact.
This is a role for someone who is excited by complex product challenges, passionate about developing exceptional designers, and motivated by building products that make powerful technology feel intuitive.
This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
Location: To create the best experience for this employee and to meet the business needs, this role requires you to be based within the EMEA region.
ROLE SUMMARY
This is an exciting time to join Oyster. The Netherlands is one of our most important markets and this role will give you real ownership over how payroll runs, with the scope to help us achieve best-in-class payroll standards at scale.
You'll be our lead in-house payroll expert: the person we trust to own Dutch payroll end-to-end, build scalable workflows in AFAS, Nmbrs by Visma and / or Loket.nl http://Loket.nl, and set the standard for how payroll should run. If you've run native Dutch payroll from the ground up, know AFAS Nmbrs by Visma and/or Loket.nl http://Loket.nl inside out, have strong opinions on doing payroll right, and have helped build or transform a payroll function before, this role is built for you.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run payroll end-to-end. Own the full Dutch payroll cycle in-house; accurate, compliant, and on time.
- Master data ownership. Oversee the validation of employee payroll master data; new hires, terminations, salary changes, variable pay, benefits, absences, and garnishments (loonbeslag), ensuring every change is processed accurately and within payroll deadlines.
- Payroll controls & quality. Run rigorous pre- and post-payroll validations each cycle, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to keep payroll accurate before issues reach team members, customers or Finance.
- Handle all statutory filings & accesses. Loonaangifte (monthly payroll tax) and Jaaropgave (annual statement) — you own the Belastingdienst submissions. You will also be responsible for setting up and managing required government accesses (Belastingdienst, UWV).
- Own the payroll system. Configure and maintain the in-house payroll system, test legislative updates before they go live, troubleshoot issues, and partner with our Product team to improve automation and scalability.
- Be the subject matter expert. Advise the business on Loonheffing (payroll tax), Sociale verzekeringen (social insurance), Dutch arbeidsrecht (labour law), 30% ruling applications and CAO (collective labour agreement) interpretation.
- Own the numbers. Oversee payroll journals, GL mappings, reconciliations with Finance, and full data integrity.
- Own complex escalations. Be the key point of contact for our most complex client payroll issues. Pair your deep technical expertise with a customer-first mindset to turn hard problems into a best-in-class experience.
- Reporting. Maintain and prepare statutory and ad-hoc reports to meet regulatory requirements, including EU Pay Transparency Directive obligations, AVG/GDPR compliance across payroll data, WKR and Ondernemingsraad (works council)-facing pay assessment documentation.
- Audits. Provide structured data and documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Level the team up. Improve processes, coach junior specialists through complex problems rather than solving issues for them, and back up Regional Managers when needed. Maintain a living knowledge base e.g. playbooks and SOPs. so legal updates and process knowledge stay documented and shared, never siloed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years running the complete native (in-house) payroll process for the Netherlands, comfortable independently handling a high volume of payslips per month.
- Advanced, hands-on AFAS and / or Nmbrs by Visma and / or Loket.nl http://Loket.nl experience is non-negotiable.
- PDL (Praktijkdiploma Loonadministratie) and/or VPS (Vakopleiding Payroll Services) certification and/or NIRPA Register Salarisadministrateur (RSa) registration; HBO (Bachelor) in Business Admin or Finance highly valued.
- Deep, current working knowledge of Dutch wage tax, social insurance, and labor law, and the confidence to advise stakeholders directly, not just execute.
- Dutch at C1/C2 for interaction with local authorities and fluent English for collaborating with our async global team.
- Comfortable owning complex, sensitive client escalations; balancing technical precision with a genuine customer-first mindset.
- An analytical, productivity-obsessed mindset. You're not a corporate "just follow the process" type; you thrive working from a blank canvas to build and set up processes, with an automation mindset that keeps improving how the work gets done.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving cross-functional change, even without an established playbook.
- Some experience coaching or mentoring less experienced colleagues; you like building others up, not just solving problems yourself.
- Comfortable working largely asynchronously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- A broader accounting background or qualification (e.g. RA/AA accountancy qualification); particularly useful for the GL mapping and reconciliation side of the role.
- Proven experience working on and delivering cross-functional HR/Payroll projects.
- Hands-on capability working with AI tools to optimize payroll or operations workflows.
- Strong data transformation skills and practical experience with data analytics platforms.
