Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
This is NOT a new grad role! This role is for candidates with 0-2 YOE and can start full time right away.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an engineer at Notion, you’ll help shape core user experiences and accelerate how people discover value in Notion. You'll tackle meaningful challenges with increasing autonomy, crafting code that millions of users will experience. You'll take ownership of projects that matter, make critical technical decisions, and contribute your unique perspective to our product vision. Working alongside passionate experts across design, product, and data, you'll help shape the future of how people work.
We're looking for an Early Career AI Engineer to join as a strategic partner in shaping Notion's AI vision. You'll work on cutting-edge AI-powered features, leveraging LLMs, embeddings, and other AI technologies to make Notion more intelligent and capable.
This role may be aligned to one of multiple AI-focused teams at Notion. Depending on team match and business needs, you could work on:
- AI product engineering: building model-powered features end-to-end (UX, APIs, retrieval, orchestration, quality, and reliability)
- Model & systems engineering: improving model integration and performance (latency, cost, safety, robustness) and building the infrastructure that supports model serving and experimentation
- Evaluation & quality (evals): creating evaluation frameworks and automated/ human-in-the-loop testing to measure and improve model and product quality
WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE
- Partner with your team to prototype and ship an AI-powered product improvement
- Own a scoped productionization project: integrate a new model/technique into an existing workflow, add monitoring + guardrails, or improve latency/cost/reliability.
- Contribute to evals and iteration loops: build or extend an evaluation set, run experiments, analyze results, and translate learnings into product or system changes.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- You have less than two years of engineering experience. You have solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems, with a customer-minded, pragmatic approach to solving problems.
- Expertise building and prototyping: You’re excited to build and iterate quickly, and you’ve started exploring AI/ML through coursework, projects, internships, or hackathons. You’re comfortable learning how different parts of a product fit together (UI, APIs, data), have some familiarity with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL, and can take an idea from prototype to a working feature with guidance.
- Thoughtful problem-solving: You approach problems holistically, starting with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You think about the implications of what you're building and how it will impact real people's lives. You can navigate ambiguity successfully, decompose complex problems into clean solutions, while also balancing the business impact of what you’re building.
- Impact-driven approach to technology: You see technologies as tools to achieve user impact rather than ends in themselves. You care more about building successful systems that solve real problems than about using specific tech stacks or following trends. You stay current with the latest tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and other AI-assisted development environments, you're pragmatic about choosing the right tool for the job, focusing on what delivers the most value to users and the business.
- Proactive communication and high agency: You own your work, communicating clearly about progress and blockers. You don't wait for instructions for every step but rather show initiative in identifying what needs to be done and driving projects forward. You ask questions when needed while independently finding solutions to problems.
NICE TO HAVES
- You have experience with any part of our technology stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, and Elasticsearch.
- You care about the interaction between technology and society, the ways in which they inform each other, and our responsibility as technologists to be conscious of that relationship.
- You've heard of computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and others—and understand why we're big fans of their work.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an Operations Engineer who is technically curious, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and proactive to join our Global Technical Operations (GTO) team. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to monitor and investigate production issues across a global platform, help improve how we detect and respond to incidents, analyze trends and patterns in production data, and contribute to better communication with partners and stakeholders during incidents.
Strong troubleshooting skills, observability platform experience, and scripting ability are essential, along with experience in SRE, DevOps, production operations, or NOC environments supporting high-availability platforms in the gaming industry. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English — both written and verbal — when writing incident updates, shift handoffs, and status page communications will be key to your success in this role.
If you’re passionate about keeping critical systems running and continuously improving operational processes and love being the first to spot issues and the one who drives them to resolution for game developers and players worldwide, we would love to hear from you!
ABOUT US

With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.
For more information, visit xsolla.com.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary dashboard monitor during your shift — continuously watch the GTO Operational Dashboard in Datadog, detect anomalies by correlating signals across APM, logs, metrics, synthetic tests, and Real User Monitoring, and determine whether alerts warrant an incident ticket or can be resolved through immediate investigation.
Triage and investigate production incidents — create incident tickets in JIRA Service Management, perform initial technical investigation using Datadog (traces, logs, infrastructure and application metrics), determine blast radius and likely root cause domain, and route to the correct team (Product SRE, Infrastructure SRE, or Engineering) using the smart routing model.
Own lower-severity incidents end-to-end from detection through resolution — diagnose, execute runbook procedures, and resolve without escalation where possible. Escalate promptly when an incident is unresolved within defined thresholds or requires a code-level fix.
Support the TSO Lead during major incidents as the technical right hand in the war room — surface real-time data (error rates, impact scope, deployment history, related alerts), maintain the incident ticket with live timeline entries and linked evidence, and execute mitigation actions as directed.
Draft incident communications under TSO Lead direction, including internal Slack updates, stakeholder notifications, and customer-facing status page updates (status.xsolla.com). Support clear, timely communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
During non-incident periods, analyze incident trends, recurring issues, and production bugs — compile data from Datadog, JIRA, and Slack, identify patterns, and contribute findings to regular reports for product and engineering teams.
Compile incident timelines and draft initial PIR documents for Post-Incident Review preparation. Track PIR action items post-session and flag overdue items to the TSO Lead.
Build and maintain operational automation (alert enrichment scripts, incident templates, Slack workflows, dashboard widgets) and contribute to runbook development — documenting new resolution procedures so they can be repeated by any Operations Engineer on any shift.
Conduct structured shift handoffs covering active incidents, at-risk services, upcoming deployments, and follow-up items. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with SREs to continuously expand independent resolution capability.
Cover for the TSO Lead during vacations, absences, or emergencies — including severity classification, escalation decisions, stakeholder communications, and basic Incident Commander functions.
Publish health reports of critical apps periodically.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working at a gaming company is required — you understand the pace, player expectations, live operations dynamics, and the operational demands of the gaming industry.
4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, production operations, NOC, or technical operations in a high-availability environment.
Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills — ability to take an alert or user-reported symptom and methodically trace it through the stack: application logs, APM traces, infrastructure metrics, database queries, and network paths.
Hands-on experience with Datadog (or equivalent observability platform: Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Elastic) — navigating APM, building log queries, reading infrastructure dashboards, interpreting SLO burn rates, and configuring monitors and alerts.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Go, or Bash. You will write automation scripts, build operational tooling, and work with APIs.
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English — ability to write incident tickets, investigation notes, Slack updates, shift handoff reports, status page communications, and PIR drafts that are clear, concise, and useful to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable) — understanding of pods, deployments, services, ingress, node health, and how to investigate Kubernetes-related production issues.
Understanding of SLOs, error budgets, and burn-rate alerting — knowing what a multi-window burn-rate alert means, how error budgets deplete, and how SLO breaches translate into incident severity.
Experience with incident management tooling: JIRA or JIRA Service Management, PagerDuty or OpsGenie, Slack, and Confluence.
Experience with or strong interest in AI/ML-assisted operations: anomaly detection, alert correlation, predictive monitoring, or automated remediation.
Comfort with 24x7 shift-based operations as part of a follow-the-sun model with handoff overlaps. Weekend on-call (rotating) is required.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Datadog Service Catalog, synthetic monitoring, and RUM (Real User Monitoring).
Experience with distributed systems debugging: tracing failures across microservices, understanding cascading failures, and reading distributed traces end-to-end.
Exposure to database operations (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka) at a level sufficient to investigate connection pool exhaustion, replication lag, slow queries, or queue backlogs during incidents.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm) — enough to correlate recent deployments with production issues and identify rollback targets.
JIRA Service Management administration experience: workflows, automation rules, SLA timers, and queues.
ITIL Foundation certification is a plus but not required — practical experience matters more.
Benefits
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes unlimited Flexible Time Off, Gym membership, monthly train ticket and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. At TechBiz Global, we are providing recruitment service to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking a Senior Formal Verification (FV) Engineer to join one of our clients' teams.
Reporting directly to the Vector Unit Verification Lead, this is a highly technical Individual Contributor (IC) role. In this position, you will be the dedicated formal expert for the VU team, responsible for designing scalable formal testbenches, writing mathematical properties, and ensuring the absolute algorithmic and architectural integrity of our vector pipeline. You will work side-by-side with VU microarchitects to hunt down deep corner-case bugs and achieve formal sign-off on high-complexity arithmetic and execution blocks.
Key Responsibilities
Block-Level Execution & Convergence Engineering (90%)
End-to-End Testbench Ownership:
Design, deploy, and maintain robust formal verification environments for complex Vector Unit sub-blocks (e.g., Vector Execution Pipelines, Vector Register File/Rename interfaces, and Vector Floating-Point Units).
Datapath & Arithmetic Verification:
Implement advanced word-level modeling, bit-blasting, and algebraic rewriting strategies to verify complex IEEE-754 floating-point and integer vector arithmetic units.
Proof Convergence Management:
Independently diagnose and resolve proof-convergence failures, over-constraints, and state-space explosions using advanced reduction techniques (e.g., case-splitting, black-boxing, and abstraction modeling).
RISC-V Vector Compliance:
Develop formal environments to mathematically prove that the VU pipeline strictly complies with the RISC-V Vector (V) Extension specification.
Simulation Partnership:
Collaborate closely with VU simulation engineers to define a razor-sharp boundary between simulation and formal verification, ensuring maximum bug-hunting efficiency and zero coverage gaps.
Embedded Mentorship & Best Practices (10%)
Formal-Friendly Design:
Partner with VU microarchitects during early-stage RTL development to drive formal-friendly coding styles and structural design patterns.
SVA Propagation:
Review and refine SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) written by design and simulation peers, establishing best practices for block-level assertions within the VU team.
Education:
B.S./M.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with practical industry execution; or a Ph.D. with a research focus on formal methods or computer arithmetic.
Experience:
5+ years of production-grade hardware verification experience (or Ph.D. + 1–3 years) with a strong, proven track record of applying formal verification to CPU, GPU, or DSP execution pipelines.
Collaboration Style:
A self-driven engineer who enjoys deep mathematical puzzles, collaborates seamlessly within a localized block-level team, and can translate complex proof counter-examples into actionable bugs for designers.
Datapath Validation Focus:
Strong specialization in arithmetic formal verification, algebraic rewriting, and word-level modeling. Familiarity with control-path formal techniques (liveness, safety properties) is highly welcome.
Vector Microarchitecture:
Good working knowledge of high-width execution pipelines, vector execution units, or floating-point/integer arithmetic hardware. Experience with Out-of-Order execution mechanics is a plus.
Formal Tools:
Proficient command of commercial EDA formal tools (e.g., Cadence JasperGold/DPV, Synopsys VC Formal, Siemens OneSpin) and their specialized mathematical/datapath apps.
Languages:
Native fluency in SystemVerilog and SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA). Scripting proficiency (Python, Tcl, or Bash) for testbench automation.
Nice to Have
RISC-V Core Verification.
RISC-V Ecosystem:
Familiarity with the RISC-V Architecture, specifically the Vector (V) and Floating-Point (F/D) extension ecosystems.
Emulation platforms (Veloce, ZeBu).
Core/Bus interface protocols (e.g., AXI/CHI).
