HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐ THE ENGINEERING TEAM ⭐
In our engineering team, we build the infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to provide first-class service to our members, health professionals, and even ourselves!
Being an engineer at Alan means joining a team of talented, committed and passionate engineers, with a lot of interactions.
We move fast, with a lot of ownership, and are proud to tackle big problems!
Our process is very simple: those who make product decisions are the same ones who build them.
We are also the stewards of our members' most sensitive data, and building privacy in by design is core engineering work for us, not an afterthought.

🛠️ THE STACK
Python/Flask, Typescript, React, React Native on the coding side. AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Terraform/Terramate, Datadog, Cloudflare, GitHub Actions on the platform side, all in a monorepo. We deploy daily and believe in distributed ownership - you build it, you own it.
🤖 THE DATA FOUNDATIONS CREW - WITHIN THE TECH FOUNDATIONS AREA
🎯 MISSION
- Tech Foundations - enables product crews and creates the environment to thrive, combining world-class infrastructure, intuitive developer experience, exquisite operational excellence, and built-in security to make shipping exceptional products effortless.
- Data Foundations - is one of its crews. Its mission: be the enabling and platform team for data lifecycle and privacy engineering across Alan: retention, deletion, anonymization, and pseudonymization, by design. It builds and runs the GDPR Orchestrator (the platform's current embodiment) and equips each area to own its own data rules on top of it. The team also handles data shared with third parties and partners, with Legal and Security on requirements, including authority-facing work (e.g. CNIL).
🔭 SCOPE
1. Own and evolve the privacy platform (build & run): its core engine, its safety mechanisms (preview/dry-run, audit trail), and its operational health (deploys, on-call, observability). You design the contract areas build on and keep it reliable as adoption grows.
2. Build the paved road (enable, teach to fish): docs, templates, and self-serve tooling so any of our 15+ areas can plug into the platform and manage its own data rules and dependencies. You coach areas through pairing and syncs; you build the capability rather than doing the work for them.
3. Coordinate across areas (the cross-area bridge): align legal, security, data, and the data-producing areas on requirements, surface cross-area data dependencies, and resolve design trade-offs between them. You own the coordination; each area stays accountable for its own data and rules.
4. Push the foundations forward: drive open platform design questions to a conclusion and grow the platform's capabilities as Alan's data, products, and footprint expand.
👀 FOCUS FOR 2026
- Own the platform: become the long-term owner of the GDPR Orchestrator and shape the roadmap for how Alan manages data lifecycle at scale.
- Raise the bar on the platform: invest in its safety, observability, and developer experience so areas build on it with confidence.
- Lay the paved road: ship the docs, templates, and tooling that let areas self-serve, then move ownership of data rules to the areas that produce the data.
- Scale the surface: grow the platform's reach across data stores and third-party systems as Alan expands into new countries.
⭐ IS IT YOU WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
EXPERIENCE WE VALUE
- Senior-level experience (typically 8+ years) in backend or platform software engineering, or equivalent, with deep production ownership (API and contract design, data modeling, running what you ship).
- You've built and operated platforms, libraries, or services that other engineers depend on, and you care about the contract you expose to them.
- You're comfortable operating across many teams and influencing without authoritarianism: getting legal, security, data, and product crews who don't report to you aligned on a plan, and driving it to completion.
- You bring pragmatism under constraint: you ship sound, safe solutions and improve them over time, rather than waiting for perfect.
- Strong plus: prior privacy, GDPR, or data-governance exposure, and experience working in an enabling or platform-team operating model.
- Explicitly not required: deep legal expertise. Legal and security partner with this role; they don't get replaced by it.
MINDSET WE VALUE
- You treat platform engineering as product work: engineers and members are your customers, and doing the right thing with their data should feel effortless.
- You're hands-on: writing code is the bulk of the job (Python, TypeScript). You ship what you write to production yourself, then operate it: rollouts, alerting, on-call, incident response.
- You design and communicate: you're as comfortable writing a framing doc, drawing a dependency map, and aligning several areas on a design decision as you are writing the code.
- You're an enabler: you measure your impact by how fast areas run their own data rules without ever consulting you. The harder you've worked, the less they have to engage you.
- You build reusable patterns: guardrails, libraries, and safe-by-default abstractions that keep data handling correct and safe by design at scale.
- You're fluent in English (French is not required).
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire above the E level range https://medium.com/alan/a-new-iteration-of-our-engineering-career-path-at-alan-f46f7b229b2d.
But above all, we are looking for high potential and curiosity: make sure to show us this when you apply! Everything else is a bonus.
🌍 HOW WE WORK
- Location: You must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.
- Remote work: We offer remote work flexibility, but we value in-person collaboration.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist.
We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

⭐️ THE DATA FOUNDATIONS TEAM ⭐
At Alan, every decision we make about our members' care, contracts and claims is a data decision. The Data Foundations team builds the platform that makes those decisions possible in a safe way.
- Being part of the Data Foundations team means you’ll build, maintain, and improve the Data Platform used by everyone at Alan.
- We enable Alan’s data-driven nature and help our colleagues make the most of their data.
- Partner closely with people across Alan (technical and non-technical) to understand their needs and build data solutions they can trust and use effectively.
- We own and manage all data-related tools that power Alan.
- AI is changing the way companies work with data: agents are becoming first-class users of our data warehouse. It opens a world of new usage and exciting features, as well as concerns around security, data quality and governance. We are building the foundations that allow Alan to make the most of this exciting new paradigm.
- Alan is expanding quickly: we went from 4 to 6 countries this year and we won’t stop there. Our objective is to onboard new countries in weeks, not months. Having strong data foundations is a cornerstone of that expansion, allowing our teams to make sense of a patchwork of insurance systems, regulations and reporting rules.
- Examples of our missions:
- improve the developer experience when building and maintaining data pipelines,
- enable reliable and secure access to our data warehouse for Alaners and AI agents,
- strengthen security and governance around our data assets,
- define and implement standard data practices across Alan,
- maintain and evolve our core data infrastructure to accommodate Alan's international expansion and growing product breadth…
- Our core tools include Python, Airflow, Snowflake, AWS/GCP, Metabase, Terraform, dbt, and others.
- Who you'll work with: Data Foundations is a small, high-leverage team inside the Tech Foundations area, whose mission is to enable product crews through world-class infrastructure, developer experience, operational excellence, and built-in security. You'd be joining as one of its core engineers, working daily with the whole Data community at Alan.
🎯 EXPECTED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
You would thrive at Alan if most of this sounds like you:
- Passionate about owning ambitious problems and developing simple solutions for them.
- 3+ years of experience demonstrating impact in Data positions. We welcome candidates from early-career to highly experienced profiles. You may already have strong expertise in Data Engineering, or be an experienced data or software engineer looking to deepen your specialization in this area.
- Experience building and operating production data infrastructure: orchestration (Airflow or similar), a cloud data warehouse, infrastructure as code.
- Experience designing systems, tools or libraries used by other engineers, scientists or analysts.
- Proficient in Python and SQL. Setting a high standard of rigor and precision for yourself, interested in your craft.
- Curious about AI and eager to use it thoughtfully to increase your impact.
- Great listening and communication skills.
- Humble, kind, collaborative, and still willing to grow (no matter your seniority!).
- Fluent and clear in English, both oral and written (no need to speak French!).
For this role, we are looking to hire within the C0-E level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.

We are Kolibri Games - a mobile games developer from Berlin. We believe that with the best people, we can make games that players will enjoy for years to come.
Our games have defined the idle genre, and bring enjoyment to hundreds of millions of players all around the world. This is possible due to the talented people who make us who we are. ‘Kolibris’, as we call ourselves, are on a mission to continue making great games and we're looking for new talent to join our team. We strive to offer you a fair recruitment process and a great candidate experience, as well as a friendly environment to work in, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Senior Unity Developer - Core Game Tech (f/m/d)
We are looking for a Senior Unity Developer to join our Core Game Tech (CGT) Team — the small, senior team behind the technology that every Kolibri game runs on.
Our work spans consulting game teams on technical decisions, investigating problems where nobody has defined the requirements yet, and building the systems and integrations that the games depend on. That ranges from compliance features and third-party SDKs to shared systems, standardization and keeping our engine and tooling current.
You'll work in a small specialized team alongside technical decision makers to have strong impact on all the games across our portfolio.
If you like being the person who takes on the technical problems other teams can't, and you don't shy away from constantly diving into new unknowns, learning new skills and driving topics forward, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Design and build the shared systems multiple live games with dynamic events and scheduled content for millions of users run on
Drive third-party integrations and keep the portfolio current: evaluate and integrate SDKs, drive SDK and Unity version upgrades, and understand the impact across every game before it lands
Advise game teams as their technical counterpart, driving standardization and winning adoption of shared solutions on the strength of the work and the argument
Deliver compliance and privacy features across the portfolio, such as age assurance APIs, CMP implementations and GDPR data deletion flows
Investigate open-ended technical problems and turn regulations, vendor changes and internal needs into concrete technical requirements
Required skills
(Ideally 5+ years of professional) Software development experience in C# and Unity3D. Experience in non-gaming contexts is also relevant; we value your expertise, so do not hesitate to apply
You have a wide understanding of how Unity works, you are familiar with native implementations, understand backend interactions, and performance investigations are your bread and butter. The most important skill is to be able to jump into the unknown and get familiar
Strong written and spoken communication, and the credibility to make teams you don't sit with want to adopt your solutions
Experience building libraries, packages, APIs or tooling that other developers consume, and an instinct for what makes them adoptable
Ability to plan, communicate, and execute technical solutions in a way that is both understandable for other developers as well as non technical stakeholders
Ability to derive requirements yourself from ambiguous or external sources — regulation, platform policy, vendor documentation — rather than working from a written spec
A genuine appetite for constantly learning new areas of the stack
Desirable skills
Experience debugging below the C# layer into Android and iOS platform code, and profiling performance on mobile
Exposure to compliance, privacy or platform policy work — GDPR, CMP, age assurance, ATT or similar
Familiarity with reactive or async programming and dependency injection frameworks, e.g. UniRx, Zenject, UniTask
A passion for games and an understanding of the mobile market, like F2P and LiveOps
Strong familiarity with using LLMs in different areas of game development to support your efforts and achieve stronger results
Familiarity with Firebase Crashlytics and an understanding of ANRs.

**Стек:** Python, pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, HuggingFace (transformers, datasets), vLLM, SGLang, инференс-API, S3, Git, Docker, CI/CD, Linux, Bash.

AI USE DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
As an AI company, Coder embraces the use of AI tools, and we want to be transparent about our expectations as you navigate our interview process.
Not permitted: Using AI assistance during conversational interviews.
Permitted: Using AI tooling for take-home assessments. Please flag where and to what extent it was used in your take-home. Your submission will not be penalized for using AI as long as it is done honestly.
OUR USE OF AI IN HIRING
We use AI tools to help manage our recruitment process efficiently and fairly. Specifically:
- Ashby and Brainerr help us review inbound applications by surfacing candidates who best match the role requirements we've defined. This tool does not make hiring decisions; it helps our team prioritize which applications to review first.
- Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.
All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. Your data is not used to train AI models.
In accordance with New York City Local Law 144, an independent bias audit has been conducted on "Automated Employment Decision Tools"; results are available for Ashby https://www.ashbyhq.com/downloadables/ashby-bias-audit-08-2024.pdf.

About Xenon7
Where elite tech talent meets world-class opportunities! At Xenon7, we work with leading enterprise clients and innovative startups on high-impact projects across Data, AI, Cloud, and Software Engineering. Our expertise in AI solution architecture and specialized technical talent allows us to partner with enterprise leaders on transformative initiatives, driving innovation and business growth.
Job Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber
Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE)
to sit at the intersection of enterprise AI platforms and executive Finance business functions for our Fortune 100 enterprise client. This role bridges advanced AI platform engineering with direct business impact—translating ambiguous financial challenges into working AI applications, deploying them into regulated client environments, and iterating in tight loops to drive measurable ROI.
Rather than building static models or waiting for formal spec sheets, you will operate as a product-minded technical lead. You will prototype user-facing tools in days, deploy agentic and RAG workflows on top of enterprise data stacks (Databricks Genie), and ensure high adoption across FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, and CFO leadership.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End AI Application Prototyping & Delivery
Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions for Finance business units—from initial discovery with CFO stakeholders to production deployment, user adoption, and ROI measurement.
Rapidly prototype vertical applications using Streamlit, Databricks Apps, FastAPI/Flask, or lightweight React interfaces within 1–2 weeks to gather real user feedback.
Handle "last mile" execution: edge cases, data quirks, business rule exceptions, and user training to turn prototypes into sticky enterprise products.
Agentic Systems & LLM Engineering
Build production-grade vertical AI tools leveraging Databricks Genie (Genie Spaces, semantic models).
Construct robust RAG pipelines incorporating advanced chunking, vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Azure AI Search, Cortex Search), retrieval evaluation, grounding, and citation.
Implement LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex) and apply rigorous prompt engineering with hallucination and accuracy evaluation discipline.
Enterprise Data & Regulated Integration
Deploy applications inside heavily regulated enterprise environments, adhering strictly to RBAC, data residency, audit, and compliance constraints (SOX, GxP).
Connect solutions to governed datasets, semantic models, and core enterprise platforms (SAP, Workday, Coupa, ERP) via secure REST APIs.
Instrument all deployed apps with usage metrics, telemetry, and business outcome tracking from day one.
Strategic Stakeholder Advisory & Pattern Extraction
Work directly with senior Finance leadership (CFO office, FP&A, Controllership) to translate ambiguous operational friction into crisp technical roadmaps.
Extract reusable code components, prompt templates, evaluation harnesses, and retrieval patterns into shared enterprise assets for broader deployment.
Requirements
Experience & Mindset
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on software development and full-stack AI application deployment.
Product-Shaped Builder:
Strong bias for action; comfortable shipping rough prototypes in Week 1 over polished spec documents in Week 4.
Ambiguity Tolerance:
Proven ability to navigate vague business problems without predefined specifications.
Stakeholder Communication:
Outstanding ability to interface directly with senior business leaders without requiring intermediary Business Analysts.
Must-Have Technical Stack
Languages & Frameworks:
Python, FastAPI/Flask, SQL, and UI frameworks (Streamlit, Databricks Apps, React).
AI Platforms:
Direct hands-on experience with
Databricks Genie
.
LLM Engineering:
Production experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, vector search engines, and prompt evaluation harnesses.
Cloud & DevOps:
Deep working knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable), modern Git workflows, CI/CD, and basic MLOps awareness (observability, versioning via LangSmith, Datadog, etc.).
Domain Competency (Finance Focus)
Solid foundational understanding of core Finance business processes (FP&A, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, close cycles) and common financial metrics (OPEX, EBITDA, gross margin, working capital).
Nice-to-Haves & Certifications
Prior FDE, Solutions Engineer, or Field Engineer experience at high-growth AI/Data companies (Palantir, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic).
Industry background in Life Sciences, Pharma, Healthcare, or CPG enterprise Finance.
Experience with enterprise Finance software (SAP S/4HANA, Veeva, Workday Adaptive, Oracle Financials).
Certifications: Databricks Certified, or Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102).
What This Role Is NOT
