Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Principal Product Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer with deep expertise in product security, threat modelling, and risk assurance for highly regulated electromechanical systems. In this role, you will lead the delivery of product cybersecurity across Humanoid's HMND 01 platform family — the Alpha Wheeled industrial robot and the Alpha Bipedal home robot — both powered by our KinetIQ VLM/VLA-based AI framework. Working alongside product, firmware, autonomy, and hardware teams as part of the Systems Engineering and Architecture Team, you will define and maintain the cybersecurity assurance strategy for all product security activities from first concept through post-market deployment. Security at Humanoid is an engineering discipline inseparable from functional safety and central to our mission of creating the world's most reliable, commercially scalable, and safe humanoid robots. To excel in this position, you must demonstrate the authority to influence security architecture decisions across complex, cross-functional programmes, the rigour to build defensible security cases for novel cyber-physical systems, and the leadership to grow and guide a cross team of security engineers operating at the frontier of robotics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Team Leadership & Product Security Delivery
- Lead and develop a cross-functional team of security engineers, maintaining accountability for the delivery of product security services within product teams throughout the HMND 01 development lifecycle.
- Define product security requirements and advise development teams on suitable implementation standards, techniques, and toolchains for embedded and AI-enabled robotic systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop security protocols, tools, and processes that keep HMND 01 technologies ahead of emerging threats — including attack surfaces specific to the KinetIQ AI inference pipeline and cloud-to-robot communication architecture.
- Own and maintain key security artefacts for audit-ready cybersecurity documentation including Security Management Plans, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) reports, Risk Assessments, and Remediation Action Plans across both platforms.
Security Assurance & Certification
- Drive security assurance through the full product lifecycle, ensuring every HMND 01 design is robust, compliant, and resilient. Contribute to the continual improvement of security engineering capability across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity obligations under the EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 where cyber controls intersect with safety-critical functions and compliance to IEC 62443 (for industrial/OT product security), and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
- Provide independent Information Assurance (IA) reviews and risk assessments on complex, high-impact projects — with particular focus on cyber-physical systems where a digital compromise could result in physical harm to operators or end users.
- Review and provide guidance on security risk assessments, risk mitigation plans, mitigation gap analysis, and security management documentation in support of system cybersecurity certification.
Incident Response & Lifecycle Security
- Establish and maintain a Product Security Incident Response (PSIR) process, encompassing coordinated vulnerability disclosure, patch deployment pipelines, and post-field incident analysis.
- Define and oversee security monitoring requirements for deployed fleets, ensuring field data feeds back into risk files and security artefacts in line with post-market surveillance obligations.
Commercial & Bid Support
- Support the production of work package descriptions and cost estimates for product bids, services, and proposals that include product security scope.
- Represent Humanoid's security posture in customer and partner engagements, including regulatory consultations and certification body interactions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven, hands-on experience with ISO 27001/27004/27005 and the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), applied to regulated hardware or embedded product programmes.
- Experience owning a security risk management system for highly regulated, safety-critical products — with background drawn from automotive, commercial vehicle, or industrial automation environments.
- Working knowledge of IEC 62443, with the ability to adapt ISO/SAE 21434 lifecycle methodologies to robotic or electromechanical product context.
- Solid understanding of engineering development lifecycles and how the product cybersecurity specialism aligns with systems engineering, functional safety, and hardware/software co-development.
- Ability to interpret Penetration Test reports and author Remediation Action Plans that address identified vulnerabilities in a structured, risk-prioritised manner.
- Clear, structured communication skills — able to articulate complex security risk arguments to both technical engineers and executive stakeholders with equal confidence.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) or equivalent threat modelling methodologies (STRIDE, PASTA) applied to embedded or OT/IT convergent systems.
- Understanding of secure-by-design principles for AI/ML-enabled systems, including securing inference pipelines, model integrity, and cloud-to-edge communication paths.
- Exposure to CAN bus, Ethernet backbone, or wireless interface security in mobile, vehicular, or robotic systems.
- Experience contributing to or establishing a Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT) process or coordinated vulnerability disclosure programme.
- Knowledge of UL 4600, UL 3300, or ISO 13482 and an appreciation of how cybersecurity evidence integrates into safety case arguments.
- Prior engagement with certification bodies (TUV, UL, BSI) or standards development organisations (ISO TC 184, IEC TC 65, SAE, IEEE RAS).
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

If you thrive in a high-growth startup environment and want to help reshape how people shop across the Middle East, join us.
Role Overview
As a Senior Offensive Security Engineer (L5), you will own complex offensive security initiatives that span multiple teams. You will lead advanced penetration testing, red team exercises, and adversarial simulations to uncover systemic weaknesses in our web applications, APIs, mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, identity, payment-adjacent flows, and overall attack surface.
You will act as a
hands-on technical leader
: influencing secure design decisions with evidence, mentoring mid-level and junior offensive engineers, and driving improvements that meaningfully reduce risk.
Description
In this senior role, you will take end-to-end ownership of offensive security efforts with a focus on high-impact outcomes. Your responsibilities include:
Lead comprehensive penetration tests and red team / assumed-breach exercises targeting web applications, APIs, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and authentication systems (including identity and privileged-access paths).
Lead mobile offensive testing on Android and iOS, including evaluation and bypass/validation of runtime protection, tamper resistance, certificate pinning / Certificate Transparency, and key/secret shielding using DexProtector or similar RASP / app-shielding tools, plus complementary tooling such as MobSF.
Perform in-depth threat modeling and identify complex attack paths across services and trust boundaries (including authorization flaws, tenant isolation, token/session issues, edge/WAF bypass, and client-secret exposure).
Deliver high-quality security assessment reports with clear risk ratings, business impact analysis, practical remediation guidance, and evidence quality that engineering and audit stakeholders can use in a SOC 2 and PCI DSS context—then re-test and validate fixes before closure.
Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and the Security Engineer track to influence secure architecture decisions and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed at the root cause.
Develop and improve offensive security methodologies, tools, and automation to increase efficiency and coverage. AI-assisted testing is a must.
Mentor mid-level and junior offensive security engineers, conduct offensive-focused code/design reviews, and help raise the overall security capability of the team.
Participate in purple team exercises with the detection and incident response teams to improve defenses based on real attack simulations.
Stay at the forefront of offensive security research, emerging threats, and TTPs, and assess their relevance to Toters.
Contribute offensive input to security standards, policies, and secure development practices across the engineering organization (you advise; you do not own policy issuance or GRC evidence packs).
Support structured disclosure (VDP / researcher reports) through reproduce, rate, de-duplicate, and validate.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or red teaming.
Strong expertise in web application, API, and mobile security testing (Android and iOS).
Working knowledge of DexProtector or similar mobile shielding / RASP tooling: what it protects, how testers evaluate residual risk, and how to validate that hardening holds.
Advanced proficiency with offensive security tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike or equivalent adversary-emulation platforms, custom tooling, etc.).
Proficient in writing robust, reusable scripts and small tools for automation (Python preferred, Bash for quick tasks).
Solid experience with cloud security testing (AWS preferred) and infrastructure attack techniques.
Proven ability to lead complex security assessments from scoping to reporting and remediation validation.
Strong risk assessment and threat modeling skills, with the ability to communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with SOC 2 and PCI DSS as they apply to offensive work (scoped pentests, application/API/payment-adjacent testing, evidence-quality reporting). This role does not own control design or audit evidence collection.
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing cross-team security practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
Industry-recognized certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, CRTO, or PNPT.
Experience running full-scope red team or assumed-breach exercises.
Experience developing custom exploits, tooling, or automation for offensive security.
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and adversary emulation.

Previous experience in high-scale e-commerce, delivery, or fintech environments, including payment API / tokenization / third-party PSP testing as a tester (not as PCI control owner).

Your Role:
Tenable is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to drive the technical depth and strategic impact of our AWS GTM partnership. This is a high-visibility, field-facing role sitting at the intersection of partner engineering (co-build), co-sell execution, and AWS ecosystem strategy. You will be the primary technical voice for the AWS alliance — enabling Tenable field SEs and AWS SA’s globally, advancing joint go-to-market motions with AWS, and shaping how Tenable's exposure management platform is positioned alongside AWS-native services and marketplaces.
This is a backfill of an established Principal-level seat with deep internal and external stakeholder relationships already in place. The right candidate will be technically rigorous, comfortable operating at an executive level, executing against key goals and KPIs and energized by the complexity of partner-led sales motions.
Your Opportunity:
Serve as Tenable's primary technical liaison to AWS — building and maintaining relationships with AWS Partner SAs, Technical Account Managers, and the Amazon Bedrock team.
Own and lead the AWS technical enablement plan — Be the “connective tissue” evangelizing, designing and delivering structured enablement programs for Tenable field SEs (TFCs) and AWS customer-facing SAs, ensuring both sides of the co-sell motion are technically aligned on Tenable solutions and joint architectures.
Drive AWS competency application workstreams, including design wins, technical validation, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
Apply strong program management discipline across all partnership workstreams — owning milestones, owners, and deliverables for enablement programs, competency applications, co-sell pipeline, and executive reporting cycles.
Support and advance the AWS Marketplace and co-sell motion — including Salesforce-tracked pipeline, PRM tagging, and opportunity hygiene with field co-sell teams.
Contribute to the strategic narrative around Tenable and AWS AI/agentic architectures, including integrations with Amazon Bedrock and agentic frameworks.
Produce executive-facing reporting and synthesize partnership activity across Zoom transcripts, meeting notes, Slack, and CRM data.
Collaborate with field marketing on AWS-focused demand generation, EBC planning, and joint event participation.
Develop and maintain technical assets: architecture diagrams, integration guides, demo environments, and partner-facing solution briefs.
Support VP-level escalations and executive briefings when partner commitments or timelines are at risk.
Drive AWS Marketplace technical strategy and tactics, such as PRM, ties to ACE and developing AI co-sell.
Success in the First 90 Days
30 days: Has established working relationships with the Tenable Alliance Director, key AWS Partner SAs and internal co-sell and SE stakeholders; has a clear view of the current competency application status and active co-sell pipeline.
60 days: Is delivering enablement sessions to field SE teams and contributing to executive-facing reporting cycles independently.
90 days: Has a credible point of view on gaps in the current partner motion and a prioritized plan for closing them — including AWS Marketplace coverage, SA enablement pipeline, and technical asset gaps.
