For Hybrid Roles: If this role is Hybrid, there will be an expectation to reside within commutable distance to the office/location specified in the job listing. This will include, but not limited to, weekly/bi-weekly/monthly events in the office with your specific team. This is a requirement for this role.
Job Summary:
The Platform Engineering team is a close-knit group of highly senior engineers focused on building software products for developers — from internal APIs and services to developer tooling, CI/CD frameworks, and Kubernetes-based abstractions. We treat our platform as a product — prioritizing usability, adoption, and developer experience as first-class concerns. You will spend a significant portion of your time writing code — building platform services, APIs, and developer tooling used across engineering teams. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside highly experienced engineers on meaningful software problems where your ideas and expertise truly matter. The team operates in Hybrid, focusing office time for meaningful collaboration.
Platform Engineering exists to empower product engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate healthcare software faster, more reliably, and more securely. We solve complex cross-functional problems through well-designed software systems — building APIs, services, and developer-facing applications that reduce cognitive load so development teams can focus on delivering value to clinicians and patients. We may not own every part of the stack, but we engineer the APIs, abstractions, and interfaces that piece it together meaningfully — and we own the design, implementation, testing, and lifecycle of what we build through sound software engineering practices and SRE principles
Key Responsibilities
1 · Design, build, and maintain platform services, APIs, SDKs, and internal tools used across engineering teams
2 · Own platform services end-to-end — from design and implementation through production operation and continuous improvement, writing high-quality, testable code throughout
3 · Design and improve CI/CD workflows and developer automation with a focus on usability and efficiency
4 · Apply distributed systems and backend engineering principles to design scalable, resilient services and APIs
5 · Production ownership of the services and tools you build — including observability, debugging, and incident response
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum
Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js building production-grade APIs, services, developer tools, and developer-facing UIs (React or similar), with strong automated testing practices (unit, integration, E2E)
Strong software engineering fundamentals — distributed systems, API design, and production backend services, with a proven ability to make pragmatic trade-offs across scalability, reliability, and developer experience
Working proficiency with observability (metrics, logging, distributed tracing, SLI/SLO frameworks) and production ownership of services you build — including incident response and post-mortems
Strong proficiency with Kubernetes — building software abstractions and APIs, extending capabilities through custom controllers and operators
Strong proficiency designing and building CI/CD pipelines optimized for security, compliance, and developer experience
Working proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi), GitOps practices, and cloud-native environments
Strong communication, influence, and documentation skills — able to drive adoption of platform patterns, translate technical complexity for diverse audiences, and produce ADRs, runbooks, and developer- facing documentation
Preferred:
Experience building internal developer platforms or platform-as-a-product initiatives, including developer portals and self-service tooling
Experience with AI/ML integration: LLM APIs, intelligent automation, AI-assisted developer tooling, and agentic patterns
Working proficiency with cloud security practices (IAM, secret handling, encryption), compliance tooling (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST), or cloud cost optimization (FinOps)

Novakid is an online English platform for kids — 100,000+ students, 2,500+ teachers, 15+ countries. Live classes run around the clock across time zones, which sets the technical bar: low latency, high availability, and a backend that holds up at real scale.
We’ve built a working platform. The next chapter is making deliberate architectural choices about how it should evolve.
The role
We’re hiring a Principal Backend Engineer to take ownership of backend architecture as a hands-on technical leader. No direct reports. About half your time is in the code — reference implementations, critical components, refactors. The other half is the harder work: deciding what to build, what to buy, what to defer, and why.
Our backend today is a Python core (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Celery, Postgres, Redis), surrounded by services and event-driven flows, with a growing AI layer. It runs primarily on AWS, with GCP for data and AI workloads. There are real architectural questions to answer: how to evolve the monolith, how to set service boundaries, how to design for geo-distribution as we grow, and how to integrate AI without accumulating debt. We’re looking for someone who treats those questions seriously — researches before deciding, thinks in tradeoffs, writes things down.
What you’ll work on
Backend architecture standards and major technical decisions across teams
The path from monolith toward a more modular, service-oriented backend
Service blueprints: API conventions, EDA patterns, testing, observability, deployment
Cloud architecture across AWS (primary) and GCP, including multi-region and geo-distributed designs
High-load, real-time systems: live class infrastructure, latency budgets, caching, capacity
Buy vs. build vs. assemble — knowing when a managed service, a no-code tool (Retool, n8n), or an agentic-coding POC (Claude Code, Cursor) is the right call, and when it isn’t
Production code: components, refactors, POCs, and selected product-critical features
What we’re looking for
7+ years of backend engineering, deeply hands-on in Python
Production experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Celery, Postgres, Redis
Strong AWS architecture experience (EKS, Lambda, RDS, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, and so on); working knowledge of GCP a plus
Experience designing high-load, latency-sensitive, and geo-distributed systems
Pragmatic judgment on buy vs. build vs. assemble — managed services, no-code, and agentic tooling as first-class options, not shortcuts
A deliberate working style: you research, weigh tradeoffs, document decisions, and explain them clearly to engineers and non-engineers alike
Nice to have
LLM integrations in production (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI) — evaluation, cost, reliability
Active use of agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) as part of how you ship
EdTech or other high-scale consumer platforms
Stack
Python · FastAPI · SQLAlchemy · Celery · Postgres · Redis · Kubernetes (EKS, GKE) · AWS · GCP · SQS/SNS/EventBridge · Pub/Sub · OpenAI · Anthropic · Google AI

While flexibility looks different across teams and regions, employees located near certain hubs — particularly in Prague (CZ), Nicosia (CY), Bangalore (IN), and Rennes (FR) — are generally expected to collaborate in person around 2–3 days per week, balancing the flexibility of distributed work with opportunities for in-person collaboration and connection.

ABOUT YOU
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to help define, build, and scale the Xsolla Money Account. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex problem spaces, enjoys working hands-on with engineering and partners, and is motivated by turning ambiguity into shipped, high-quality products.
The Xsolla Money Account is a strategic initiative to build embedded financial services for gamers, creators, and developers. The product spans wallet capabilities, card issuing, payouts, and future financial tools that remove friction from how value moves across the gaming ecosystem. Sitting at the intersection of fintech and gaming, the Money Account enables new business models, creator monetization, and deeper player engagement.
You will own critical parts of the Money Account roadmap and execution, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable financial products. Success in this role requires strong product judgment, technical fluency, the ability to navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, and consistent follow-through from concept through launch and iteration. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys staying close to execution and takes pride in seeing complex work through to completion.
This is a high-impact product area operating in a dynamic, evolving environment with meaningful technical, regulatory, and partner complexity. The opportunity is to shape foundational financial infrastructure that will scale globally and directly influence how money flows through the gaming economy.

Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Contribute to the Money Account product strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Identify opportunities to expand wallet, issuing, payouts, and related financial capabilities for gamers and creators.
Balance user experience, technical feasibility, regulatory considerations, and partner constraints when shaping solutions.
Product Definition & Delivery
Translate product strategy into clear, high-quality PRDs that provide context, rationale, and actionable requirements.
Partner closely with UX/UI designers to craft intuitive, trustworthy end-to-end user experiences.
Work with engineering teams using Jira and Confluence to manage scope, priorities, and delivery.
Drive features from ideation through build, testing, launch readiness, and post-launch iteration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, compliance, legal, finance, marketing, and customer support teams.
Communicate goals, tradeoffs, and timelines clearly to maintain alignment across stakeholders.
Support internal enablement by helping teams understand new features, user flows, and operational impacts.
Partner & Platform Engagement
Work with external partners such as wallet providers, issuing banks, BaaS platforms, and card networks.
Participate in partner discussions to clarify requirements, dependencies, and delivery expectations.
Contribute to evaluations of vendors, platforms, and capabilities that support the Money Account roadmap.
Data, Insights, and Iteration
Define and monitor key product metrics related to onboarding, engagement, and usage.
Use data, user feedback, and partner insights to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.
Continuously refine products based on performance and evolving customer needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience & Background
8–12+ years of product management experience in fintech, payments, embedded finance, or e-commerce.
Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional Fintech products from concept to launch.
Experience with digital wallets, card issuing, payouts, or BaaS platforms.
Strong technical fluency and comfort working closely with engineering teams and APIs.
Product & Execution Skills
Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured product requirements and execution plans.
Strong project management and execution skills, including the ability to plan work, manage timelines and dependencies, track action items, and proactively surface risks or blockers.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills; comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Strong proficiency with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, and related tools) to manage backlogs, document requirements, maintain execution visibility, and support prioritization and planning workflows.
Data-informed mindset with the ability to use metrics to guide decisions.
Collaboration & Mindset
Collaborative, humble, and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and reassessing assumptions as new information emerges.
A proactive, can‑do mindset with a bias toward action—someone who rolls up their sleeves, tackles problems head-on, and looks for ways to move work forward rather than waiting for perfect conditions.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and change, maintaining momentum even as priorities evolve.
Proactive, hands-on attitude with a bias toward ownership and execution.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with fraud management, risk, chargebacks, or compliance considerations.
Experience in gaming, digital goods, and creator platforms.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Infrastructure organization is foundational to our mission of developing AI systems that are reliable, interpretable, and steerable. The systems we build determine how quickly we can train new models, how reliably we can run safety experiments, and how effectively we can scale Claude to millions of users — demonstrating that safe, reliable infrastructure and frontier capabilities can go hand in hand.
Cluster Infra owns the full lifecycle of compute clusters at Anthropic. We build agent-driven automation for cluster provisioning and lifecycle management across all major cloud providers and our own datacenters. Our systems stand up clusters that are interconnected with high bandwidth, secure-by-default, and able to automatically drain and recover in response to failure. As a Staff engineer on this team, you'll set the technical direction for how Anthropic brings compute online - at a moment when the scale of that compute is growing faster than at almost any company in the world.
Key responsibilities
Own the technical strategy and roadmap for agent-driven cluster lifecycle management - provisioning, updates and decommissioning
Partner across teams to ensure new compute capacity is ingested on time
Align with partner teams on physical build-out and leverage cloud solutions to deliver high-bandwidth inter-cluster connectivity
Collaborate with security owners to ensure clusters are provisioned secure-by-default
Define and drive strategy on cluster scalability, homogeneity and fault tolerance
Work closely with cloud providers and internal research, inference and product teams to shape long-term compute, data, and infrastructure strategy
Establish and evolve operational-excellence practices: incident response, postmortem culture and on-call health
Support the growth of engineers around you through technical mentorship and coaching
Minimum qualifications
Deep expertise in distributed systems, reliability, and cloud platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, IaC, AWS/GCP/Azure)
Strong proficiency in at least one systems language (e.g., Rust, Go, or Python), IaC proficiency with Terraform.
Track record of leading complex, multi-quarter technical initiatives spanning multiple teams or systems
Ability to build alignment across senior stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels
Preferred qualifications
10+ years of software engineering experience, including time as a technical lead setting direction for a team
Experience operating large-scale compute infrastructure at hyperscale (100+ clusters, 10K+ nodes)
Depth in one or more of: Kubernetes internals, cluster provisioning and management systems, cluster orchestration systems (Mesos, Borg-like)
Experience with cloud networking: VPC design and peering, Shared VPC/Transit Gateway, Cloud Interconnect/Direct Connect, Cloud NAT, cross-cloud private connectivity, BGP and route control, edge load balancing and DDoS mitigation (Cloud Armor / AWS Shield)
Experience with cluster and host networking: CNI (Cilium), eBPF, NetworkPolicy, multi-NIC, sFlow, service mesh (Istio/Envoy/Linkerd, mTLS)
Experience with cluster security: pod security standards and admission control, RBAC and least-privilege IAM, node and container hardening, supply-chain/image provenance
Deep experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Atlantis), workflow orchestration (Temporal, Argo Workflows)
Skill in quickly understanding systems design tradeoffs and keeping track of rapidly evolving software systems
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Flosum
, we are building the world's best software for the modern enterprise. Our team is passionate about crafting elegant, high-performance products that delight our customers and set a new bar for engineering excellence. We combine deep expertise in cloud-native development with a relentless focus on quality, speed, and innovation. Every line of code we ship is built to scale, built to last, and built to make a real difference for the businesses that rely on us.
We are a company where technologists lead, ideas win on merit, and shipping great software fast is a core value—not a slogan. If you believe world-class engineering teams are the ones that move quickly
and
build things right, you'll feel at home here.
About the Role
We are hiring a
Director of Software Development
to lead a team of 10 engineers building and scaling our Node.js and Salesforce-integrated products. This is a hands-on leadership role for a
technical architect at heart
who can compress delivery schedules, drive developer velocity, and own the performance of the overall solution. You will be the single point of accountability for turning our roadmap into shipped software—on time, at quality, and at scale.
What You'll Own
Lead, coach, and grow a team of 10 full-stack developers across Node.js services and Salesforce customizations.
Drive measurable improvements in developer velocity using DORA metrics: lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and MTTR.
Compress delivery schedules by breaking epics into small, independently shippable slices and challenging inflated estimates with data.
Architect end-to-end solutions spanning Node.js microservices, APIs, event-driven patterns, and Salesforce (Apex, Lightning, integrations).
Own solution performance: latency, throughput, scalability, and cost—set SLOs and hold the team accountable to them.
Establish estimation, sprint, and release discipline; remove blockers; enforce accountability without burning the team out.
Partner with Product, QA, and Infrastructure to align roadmap, capacity, and dependencies.
Recruit, onboard, and performance-manage engineers; build a culture of ownership and speed.
Requirements
10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years leading development teams of 8–20 engineers.
Deep, current hands-on experience with
Node.js
(Express/Nest, async patterns, performance tuning, microservices).
Working knowledge of the
Salesforce
platform—Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, REST/Platform Events, and Node.js↔Salesforce integration patterns.
Proven
technical architect
background: designed distributed systems, API contracts, data models, and performance-critical solutions in production.
Track record of
schedule compression
—case studies where you measurably reduced cycle time or pulled in release dates without sacrificing quality.
Strong estimation and planning discipline in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
Experience driving
solution performance
: profiling, caching, query optimization, horizontal scaling, and observability (APM, logs, traces).
Cloud-native delivery experience (AWS preferred) with CI/CD, IaC, and modern DevOps practices.
Excellent stakeholder communication—can negotiate scope vs. time vs. quality with executives.
Success Metrics (First 6–12 Months)
Reduce average lead time for changes and increase deployment frequency to meet DORA "high" or "elite" benchmarks.
Ship the current roadmap on a compressed timeline agreed with leadership.
Improve estimate accuracy (commit vs. deliver) to within an agreed tolerance.
Meet or exceed performance SLOs for the Node.js + Salesforce solution stack.
Retain and level-up the existing team while filling any skill gaps.
Why Flosum
At Flosum, we believe great software is built by great teams—and great teams are built by leaders who care deeply about both the craft and the people. You will have the autonomy, the talent, and the mandate to build something exceptional. If you want to lead a team that is setting the standard for what world-class software looks like, we want to talk to you.
