At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem will manage and grow Render's most critical technology partner relationships. This role involves building and executing a comprehensive partnerships strategy — spanning AI ecosystem integrations, hyperscalers and early bets on emerging platforms — that drives meaningful distribution and growth for Render. These partnerships touch nearly every part of Render — Product, Engineering, DevRel, and Business Development — and often involve senior stakeholders at some of the largest and fastest-moving companies in AI, so doing this well means coordinating closely across those internal teams and keeping Render's leadership regularly informed.
The ideal candidate brings real technical depth in AI and developer tooling, paired with a proven background in partner management, strong relationship-building instincts, and the executive presence to engage with partner leadership at the highest levels. You should have a deep understanding of how to build and scale product-centric partnerships — from ecosystem integrations to platform-level bets — in a fast-moving, technical market.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Map Render's technology partnership landscape across AI labs, hyperscalers, and emerging developer products, and build the strategy for where Render has the strongest right to win.
- Own outcomes for the partnerships portfolio — set clear milestones, timelines, and success metrics (e.g., ecosystem integration, developer adoption, joint launches, revenue impact) and hold yourself accountable to them.
- Drive day-to-day partnership strategy and execution, taking deals from evaluation through negotiation, launch, and renewal, including commercial terms.
- Partner closely with Product, DevRel, and Product Marketing to secure roadmap and staffing commitments, drive integration execution, and run co-marketing — and work with Finance and Legal to structure and manage commercial agreements.
- Scope and lead our thinking on building out a Render Marketplace — including the value proposition to customers and key partners, product and engineering requirements, and commercial and financial terms.
- Own ongoing relationship management for key partners — acting as their primary point of contact, running business reviews and planning sessions, driving expansion and renewal over time, and serving as their internal advocate at Render.
- Bring operating rigor to the program: track and report on partnership performance, maintain clear documentation, and keep leadership updated on progress and upcoming launches.
- Build out a team of partner managers as we scale.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6–10+ years of experience in strategic or technical partnerships, business development, or product-facing roles at technology companies — ideally where partnerships were critical during a period of hypergrowth.
- A highly technical background is strongly preferred — former PM, forward-deployed engineer, or engineering experience, particularly within AI — so you can go deep with partner engineering and product teams on integration architecture, connectors, and protocols.
- Demonstrated success managing and growing complex, high-impact partnerships across AI, cloud, or developer platform ecosystems.
- Strong cross-functional operating skills, with experience working alongside Product, Engineering, DevRel, Legal, and Finance to execute complex initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage at the executive level.
- Strong bias for action — comfortable operating both independently and as part of cross-functional teams, in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Hands-on experience with MCP, plugins, connectors, or app/marketplace ecosystems specifically.
- Deep familiarity with the developer tools and infrastructure landscape, and a point of view on how emerging AI-native companies find distribution.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.

THE ROLE
Supply is responsible for knowing everything happening in the compute market: who's building, who's buying, and on what terms. This role owns a specific and fast-moving slice of that map — emerging clouds and international markets — and owns the full relationship lifecycle in that space, from first outreach through to closed terms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain a real-time picture of the emerging cloud and international compute landscape — who's active, what they're building, and what terms are available
- Own the full partnership lifecycle in this space — from identifying and sourcing new providers, to negotiating terms, to ongoing relationship management
- Develop and manage relationships across a broad set of emerging and international providers, from account reps up through leadership
- Identify, structure, and help close opportunities where Baseten can move quickly to secure favorable capacity terms
- Define compelling value propositions tailored to different types of providers, rather than a one-size-fits-all pitch
- Partner closely with others in the team already covering this space to build out a durable, well-organized intelligence and relationship function
- Collaborate with the broader Supply and Deals functions to bring opportunities to the table and support negotiation when it's time to close
REQUIREMENTS
- Equal parts relationship-builder and operator — you can open a door and also drive it all the way to a closed deal, not just make the introduction
- Background as a broker or market participant in the compute/cloud space is a plus, though we're looking for relationship-builders, not high-pressure sales types
- Creative-thinkers with the ability to build strong rapport with all types of people at all levels of an organization
- Comfortable with a role that offers strong equity upside in exchange for being early and building something from scratch, versus a purely cash-heavy comp structure elsewhere in the market
- Self-directed and high-energy; thrives operating with real autonomy in an ambiguous, fast-changing market
NICE TO HAVE
- Existing network within emerging cloud providers, GPU brokers, or international compute markets
- Prior experience at a neocloud, GPU marketplace, or compute brokerage
- Experience building channel or ecosystem partnership programs at scale
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

THE ROLE
This is a sourcing-first role, not a deal-closing role. Baseten needs someone who can build and maintain deep relationships across the long tail of data center and powered land providers, well beyond the handful of large, well-known players that everyone in the market is already competing for. This coverage area is a key differentiator for Baseten's broader compute strategy, so we're looking for the best possible person in this specific lane rather than a generalist. You'll own the full lifecycle of a sourcing relationship — from first outreach to ongoing management — not just the introduction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain a comprehensive map of data center and powered land opportunities, with a particular focus on the long tail rather than the handful of major, oversubscribed players
- Own the full sourcing lifecycle for each relationship — from identifying and reaching out to new providers, through negotiation support, to ongoing relationship management — not just the initial introduction
- Develop and manage sourcing relationships across neoclouds, hyperscalers, brokers, and independent operators
- Quickly and independently evaluate new sites and spaces to determine fit and priority
- Prepare business cases and cost analysis to support new data center and powered land opportunities, partnering with Finance where needed
- Maintain accurate records of suppliers, contracts, and commercial terms so the team has a reliable source of truth
- Protect Baseten's standing relationships carefully — this role requires real judgment about not burning bridges with the very providers we depend on elsewhere
- Feed market intelligence back into the broader Supply team, including regular updates on pricing and market developments, to support deal strategy and prioritization
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A sourcer at heart, not a dealmaker — someone who thrives on building and maintaining a large network of long-tail relationships rather than closing individual transactions
- Strong project management instincts — you own the full lifecycle of a relationship, not just the handshake
- Background in neocloud, hyperscaler, or brokerage environments where data center or land sourcing was part of the role
- Ability to independently assess and prioritize opportunities without heavy hand-holding
- Comfortable with commercial analysis — building business cases, tracking costs, and engaging in contract-level conversations with suppliers
- Judgment and discretion in relationship management, given the sensitivity of sourcing from providers Baseten also depends on in other contexts
NICE TO HAVE
- Existing relationships across the data center and powered land brokerage community
- Familiarity with the broader GPU/compute supply landscape and how it intersects with power and site availability
- Experience managing supplier contracts or commercial records across multiple vendors or regions
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
This role owns Baseten's relationships and market intelligence across hyperscalers and strategic neoclouds, including NVIDIA cloud partners. This is a technical and commercial role in equal measure: you'll evaluate capacity from the GPU to the data center, negotiate cost and terms with suppliers, and stay close enough to the market to develop and defend a real point of view on where it's heading. Given current market conditions, Baseten needs a much stronger pulse on this part of the market so we can track pricing, stay close to the right relationships, and move fast the moment more capacity is needed. This is a senior, experienced hire who will also help pair with and develop 1-2 junior to mid-level teammates covering the same space.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain deep relationships across hyperscalers and strategic neoclouds (including NVIDIA cloud partners), working each organization from top to bottom rather than a single point of contact
- Maintain a consistent, "top of mind" presence with key accounts so Baseten is positioned to move quickly when capacity needs arise
- Evaluate capacity from the GPU to the data center — hardware generation, rack and node configuration, interconnect, power density, and cooling — so you know what a configuration will actually deliver, not just what the spec sheet claims
- Live in compute pricing daily: track rates by GPU generation, region, and contract term to keep Baseten informed and competitive
- Partner with the Deals function to negotiate terms — capacity commitments, deposits and payment timing, SLAs, and remedies — and bring agreements to close
- Build and defend a view on where the hyperscaler and neocloud market is heading — supply coming online, platform transitions, and regional or policy shifts — and turn it into concrete relationship and sourcing decisions
- Help mentor and pair with 1-2 junior to mid-level teammates building coverage in this same space
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A relationship-builder with a strategic mindset — this is not an enterprise sales role, and we're specifically not looking for a traditional seller's approach
- Enough technical fluency with GPUs, racks, and data center infrastructure to evaluate what a supplier is actually offering, not just take their word for it
- Market instinct — you follow pricing closely, form independent views, and can explain why a rate moved and what it implies going forward
- Commercial judgment — comfortable with unit economics and contract structure, and know when a price implies something is wrong
- Experience building and sustaining multi-level relationships within large, complex organizations
- Strong judgment on when and how to escalate relationships to senior leadership for maximum impact
NICE TO HAVE
- Existing relationships within hyperscalers or major neocloud providers, including NVIDIA cloud partners
- NVIDIA or OEM allocation relationships — experience managing allocation, forecasting, or partner standing directly with a chip vendor or tier-1 OEM
- Comfort traveling to evaluate sites and infrastructure in person
- Experience in a compute, GPU marketplace, or infrastructure-adjacent relationship or business development role
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
This role owns Baseten's relationships and market intelligence across the hardware and chip layer of the compute stack: NVIDIA directly and key OEM partners such as Dell, Lenovo, Pegatron, and Supermicro. As Baseten's compute strategy increasingly depends on hardware access and terms, this role is central to keeping Baseten ahead of the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain relationships across NVIDIA and key OEM partners (e.g. Dell, Supermicro)
- Track market intelligence on hardware availability, roadmaps, and terms to keep Baseten informed and strategically well-positioned
- Support deal structuring and negotiation in partnership with Baseten's deal-making function
- Work closely with Infrastructure and Hardware Platform engineering teams to ensure consistent, high-quality provider relationships and engineering partnerships
- Represent Baseten credibly across senior relationships in the hardware ecosystem, escalating to company leadership when strategically valuable
REQUIREMENTS
- Existing relationships and credibility within the NVIDIA, OEM, and HPC ecosystem
- Strong relationship-management instincts, with the judgment to know when to bring in senior leadership for maximum impact
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-stakes market where hardware access can be a major competitive differentiator
- Collaborative style — this role depends on close coordination with engineering counterparts, not just external relationship-building
NICE TO HAVE
- Direct experience working at or closely with NVIDIA, a major OEM, or HPC
- Familiarity with the broader AI compute and inference market
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for an amazing individual to join Fivetran's Employee Experience team as our Senior Lead, Employee Experience & Internal Communications. This role goes beyond writing great comms — you'll also help design how employees experience Fivetran day to day, from how we listen to them, to how we recognize them, to how we bring them together as a community. You'll craft compelling communications for employees around the world, build the frameworks that connect employees to one another and to our priorities, and design programs that make people feel heard, valued, and energized — all in service of our company mission.
You'll be hands-on: writing stellar communications, designing employee listening mechanisms, building recognition programs, and running culture and community initiatives. You'll also zoom out — building frameworks and cadences that scale, and using data (surveys, engagement metrics, attendance, participation) to tell a story about how the organization is doing and what to do next.
Technologies You’ll Use

Own the internal communications strategy, calendar, and multi-channel distribution framework, spanning both the People and COO organizations
Write and edit clear, engaging content for internal audiences across our internal wiki and other channels

Support leadership on change and reorg communications, ensuring transparency and buy-in
Manage and optimize internal communication channels (email, intranet, Slack, and other digital platforms)
Develop and maintain a crisis communications plan for unexpected events affecting the company and its employees
Employee Listening
Design and run an employee listening framework across employee groups (e.g., ERGs) and around key moments (e.g., reorgs), at a minimum quarterly cadence
Establish feedback mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of communications and programs, and translate what you hear into action
Recognition
Build and document a company-wide recognition framework, pilot it with an initial team, and iterate based on results
Integrate recognition into everyday tools and processes (e.g., Slack, Workday) and align it with company values
Culture
Identify and help launch culture initiatives grounded in our top company values
Track and report on awareness and adoption (e.g., through the annual company survey)
Events & Community
Design a connection framework for events and community programming, including remote/distributed hubs
Plan and deliver company events (holiday, community, and milestone moments) with clear attendance and satisfaction goals
Data & Storytelling
Analyze and present data (survey results, attendance, engagement, participation) accurately and use it to tell a clear story that drives decisions
Skills We’re Looking For
6+ years of experience across internal communications and employee experience/engagement, with excellent, clear, simple writing
Demonstrated experience designing employee listening, feedback, or survey programs
Experience building or running employee recognition programs
Experience planning and executing company-wide events or community programming, including for distributed/remote teams
Strong ability to analyze and present data accurately, and use it to tell a story

Built and scaled teams of Sales Managers and Account Executives in a high-growth company. Ideally, you also have experience with SMB or Commercial SaaS sales, particularly in a product-led growth business.
You know how to coach leaders, develop talent, and create inclusive teams that perform consistently. You’ve exceeded revenue targets while improving forecasting and building dependable sales processes.
Confident using data to make decisions and have worked closely with Marketing, Operations, Enablement, Product, and other go-to-market teams.
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Experience using or working with Figma, or other UX/UI experience

By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
As a member of the Capacity Strategy & Operations team, you will sit at the intersection of supply intelligence, demand forecasting, and cross-functional execution, turning a complex, fast-moving hardware market into a predictable, reliable foundation for our customers and internal engineering teams.
This is not a purely analytical role. You will own the end-to-end capacity planning process: from translating customer commitments and growth forecasts into concrete supply requirements, to coordinating fulfillment across vendors, finance, and the infrastructure team, to building the systems that make all of this repeatable and scalable. When supply is constrained and tradeoffs are unavoidable, you are the person in the room who can model the options, make a clear recommendation, and drive alignment fast.
You are a strong fit if you have operated at the intersection of strategy and execution before — someone who is equally comfortable building a capacity model in a spreadsheet and running a cross-functional war room when a customer deployment is at risk.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
- Demand-Supply Alignment Framework: Build and own the process that translates customer pipeline, signed commitments, and growth projections into a forward-looking GPU demand signal — so the team is never caught flat-footed when a customer scales faster than expected.
- Constrained Allocation Playbook: Define the decision framework for how Baseten allocates scarce GPU supply across competing customers and regions, including escalation paths and tradeoff criteria for leadership.
- Capacity War Room Ownership: Lead cross-functional response when a high-stakes capacity situation arises — coordinating across Sales, SRE, Finance, and Vendor relationships to resolve it with minimal customer disruption.
- Strategic Briefings for Leadership: Produce clear, concise capacity health reports and scenario analyses for senior leadership, enabling confident decisions on customer commitments, vendor negotiations, and CapEx allocation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the capacity planning process end to end: intake, triage, prioritization, fulfillment tracking, and post-mortem learnings
- Translate customer commitments, sales pipeline, and infrastructure growth targets into concrete GPU demand forecasts across regions, GPU types, and timelines
- Partner with Finance to model capacity scenarios, evaluate new supply opportunities, and support CapEx decision-making
- Work closely with the Capacity Acquisition team to align supply procurement with forward demand, flagging gaps and risks early
- Coordinate cross-functionally across Sales, SRE, and Infrastructure teams to resolve capacity conflicts and ensure customer commitments are honored
- Build and maintain the operational cadence that keeps capacity planning structured, visible, and free of ad-hoc Slack chaos
- Develop reporting and dashboards that give leadership a real-time view of capacity health, utilization trends, and risk exposure
- Identify recurring operational gaps in the capacity lifecycle and drive process improvements that reduce toil and improve reliability
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, finance, or a similarly analytical and execution-oriented role
- Demonstrated ability to own complex, cross-functional processes with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong quantitative and modeling skills — comfortable building demand forecasts, scenario analyses, and capacity models from scratch
- Excellent communication skills, with a track record of distilling ambiguous situations into clear recommendations for senior leadership
- High ownership mindset: you identify what is broken, build the fix, and follow through until it is working
- Operates well under pressure and in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the playbook does not yet exist
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, cloud platforms, or AI/ML ecosystem
- Experience in a high-growth startup or Series B+ environment where operational processes were being built from scratch
- Exposure to vendor or partner management, particularly in hardware, cloud, or infrastructure contexts
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

THE ROLE
Baseten's Compute org is in hyper growth. As it scales, the systems and workflows that keep supply and demand balanced across our GPU fleet need to get more sophisticated, and this role exists to make sure they do.
Compute sits at the center of how Baseten allocates, forecasts, and manages the capacity that powers every customer inference request. The team that supports this work, C3, runs on a mix of internal tooling, manual processes, and systems that haven't fully kept pace with the scale of the problem. This role exists to close that gap.
You'll design, build, and ship AI-powered workflows that give the Compute and C3 teams real leverage, automating the manual, repetitive, and error-prone parts of the capacity lifecycle so the team can focus on judgment calls that actually need a human. We want someone who can walk in, audit what exists today, identify what's missing or broken, and start shipping fast.
You know when to reach for an existing internal tool and when to build something custom in Claude Code. You think two to three steps ahead about how the thing you build today fits into the broader capacity systems architecture tomorrow. And you bring a point of view on our stack, on what we should be building, and on where AI can do something existing tooling simply can't.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ship AI-powered workflows for Compute and C3: build the agents and automations that give capacity analysts, ops leads, and engineers real leverage, off-loading manual and repetitive work like data pipeline cleanup, migration troubleshooting, and capacity investigation.
- Get insights in front of the team: turn fleet utilization, allocation, and demand-forecasting data into the dashboards, alerts, and recommendations that C3 and Compute leadership actually act on. A build isn't done until the team is using it.
- Audit the stack and generate your own backlog: Compute runs on a mix of tooling with real overlap and real gaps. Walk in with a point of view, identify what's missing or broken, and prioritize without waiting to be handed a roadmap.
- Ship team-productivity workflows fast: triage asks from Supply, Demand, and C3, find the low-hanging fruit, and build it. A good week looks like an ops lead asking for something Monday and having it live by Wednesday.
- Know when to go custom: not everything belongs in a point-and-click tool. Spin up bespoke AI-powered solutions in Claude Code when the problem calls for it, and make that call with judgment, not default.
- Think in systems, not solutions: every workflow you build has upstream and downstream implications across Supply, Demand, and Engineering. Anticipate them, design for them, and don't create technical debt someone else has to unwind six months later.
- Integrate third-party APIs and internal systems to sync events and information across disparate tools: ensuring data flows reliably between C3, the CRM, and the systems Compute depends on every day.
- Document what you build: if people can't find it, understand it, or trust it, it doesn't matter how well it works.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in AI/automation engineering, workflow automation, or a technical operations role, ideally at a high-growth, AI-native infrastructure or B2B company
- You've shipped production agents on Vercel. Build custom internal apps and agents on Vercel, with durable workflows and sandboxed execution, so what you ship runs reliably in production instead of as one-off scripts
- Genuine fluency with AI coding assistants and agent tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar)
- Direct experience with a CRM or system-of-record platform (Salesforce or similar)
- A track record of owning end-to-end AI and automation workflows
- Proficiency with integration and automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, Workato, or similar) and a fundamental understanding of APIs and webhooks
- Experience in high-growth technology companies, ideally in infrastructure, cloud, or operations-heavy environments
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, capacity planning, or fleet management concepts
- Comfort building reporting and alerting on a data warehouse (BigQuery, Databricks) and BI layer (Sigma, Hex) — not as a data engineer, but as a consumer and builder on top of the data layer
- Experience building with agent platforms (Gumloop, n8n, Notion Agents, etc.) and/or agent frameworks (Vercel AI SDK, Claude Agent SDK, Mastra, etc.)
- Experience with high-stakes, operationally complex environments where mistakes have real business impact
- Challenging work and exposure to the operational core of a fast-scaling AI infrastructure company
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
