About the role:
The Senior People & Talent Operations Partner owns People Ops as a product, including systems, compliance, and self-serve workflows that enable the People & Culture function to run efficiently. The role involves managing payroll, compliance, and HR systems across 35 countries, building AI/automation and self-serve layers, and working in a lean two-person team directly with the Head of People & Culture. The role requires autonomy, candid communication, empathy, structure, and organization.
Responsibilities:
— Uphold company behaviors and foster an inclusive, supportive culture.
— Design, build, and maintain a smart, automated, AI-enabled people journey from pre-boarding to off-boarding.
— Be the technical owner and orchestrator of the HR tech stack, ensuring tools are unified and integrated.
— Own non-Finance payroll, invoicing, contract administration, and compliance across all operating countries.
— Manage data privacy, recordkeeping, and the relationship with the Employer of Record (EOR) vendor.
— Configure and troubleshoot hiring tools to enable hiring managers to run searches independently.
— Maintain documentation for self-serve processes accessible to humans and AI agents.
— Collaborate to maintain a balance between self-serve and human involvement in People processes.
Requirements:
— Passion for TestGorilla's mission.
— Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
— Experience building and owning sophisticated automations (Zapier, n8n, Make.com) as part of an integrated HR tech stack.
— Experience managing payroll, compliance, or HR operations across multiple countries, ideally with EOR or mixed entities.
— Deep, hands-on HRIS experience; HiBob experience is a plus.
— Product mindset focused on user feedback and iteration.
— Experience working in high-autonomy, async-first, remote-only environments.
— Ability to combine operational rigor with empathy and handle sensitive matters.
— Opinionated, candid, with strong feedback and stakeholder management skills.
— Typically 5+ years of relevant experience, but emphasis on ownership, impact, and progression.
Bonus skills:
— Experience with ATS or hiring platforms like Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever.
— Experience with EOR providers such as Remote, Deel, or Oyster.
— HRIS implementation or migration experience.
— Experience supporting teams through organizational change.
Conditions:

— Competitive base pay €56,520 - €70,650 plus Share Appreciation Rights (SARs), no bonus.
