About the Opportunity
Xsolla is seeking a
Head of Investor Capital and Relations
to lead its capital formation and investor relations agenda from New York. This senior, high-visibility mandate brings together two disciplines that are often treated separately: raising and structuring capital, and stewarding the relationships and narrative that sustain long-term investor confidence. The successful candidate will own the institutional capital relationships that support Xsolla’s strategic vehicles and initiatives and serve as a principal point of contact between the company and the global investment community.
The role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships and works in close partnership with the Chief Executive, Chief Legal Officer, finance leadership, and the founders. It is designed for an investor who understands capital from the inside: someone who has sat across the table from sponsors, sovereign funds, and institutional allocators, and who can translate Xsolla’s strategy into a compelling, credible investment thesis.
The Head of Investor Capital and Relations will be based in New York and will report to Rytis Joseph Jan, Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships. The role requires significant global travel, including regular engagement across the Gulf, Asia, and major financial centers, to build and maintain the relationships at the heart of the mandate.
Expressions of Interest
Xsolla welcomes confidential conversations with qualified candidates and trusted introductions. Please direct expressions of interest, together with a resume and a short note on relevant experience, to the Xsolla Talent Acquisition team via the application button linked below.

Your remit will span private capital formation, sovereign and strategic institutional relationships, and the investor relations function associated with Xsolla's publicly listed activities.
You will build the investor relations capability that a company operating in and around the public markets requires, including the disclosure discipline, messaging consistency, and relationship infrastructure that institutional investors expect. You will also act as a senior commercial partner to the deal teams, helping to shape the capital structure, investor syndicate, and positioning of strategic transactions.
This is a builder's role. You will establish the processes, materials, and team that allow Xsolla to engage the capital markets with the professionalism of a far larger institution, while retaining the speed and ambition of a company in a high growth sector.

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a GTM DevOps Engineer to join our Business Systems team and own the reliability, automation, and delivery infrastructure behind our Go-To-Market (GTM) technology stack. This role sits at the intersection of platform reliability and CI/CD engineering, ensuring that our critical business systems — including Salesforce, NetSuite, MuleSoft, Workato, and an expanding portfolio of AI-powered workloads — are deployed consistently, operate resiliently, and scale with the business.
You will partner closely with Business Systems developers, architects, and business stakeholders to build and maintain the pipelines, monitoring frameworks, and operational standards that keep our GTM systems healthy and our release cycles fast and predictable. As our team builds and deploys AI agents across GCP Cloud Run and AWS Bedrock AgentCore, you will serve as the infrastructure and deployment owner for these workloads — bringing engineering discipline to an environment where AI-generated code is increasingly entering production. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who thrives in complexity, takes ownership of platform uptime, and brings a software engineering mindset to business application operations — directly supporting GTMSOE's broader mission of operational excellence across the GTM org.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CI/CD & RELEASE ENGINEERING
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (SFDX/Salesforce CLI), NetSuite (SuiteScript/SuiteBundler), MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform), and Workato; establish branching strategies, environment promotion standards, and release gating processes across all GTM platforms.
- Extend CI/CD practices to cover AI agent workloads deployed on GCP Cloud Run and AWS Bedrock AgentCore — including containerized builds, deployment pipelines, and automated validation gates.
- Implement safe rollout patterns — including feature toggles, phased launches, automated validation, smoke tests, and rollback procedures — to reduce deployment risk on business-critical changes.
PLATFORM RELIABILITY & OBSERVABILITY
- Own SLA/SLO definitions for core GTM systems; standardize monitoring, alerting, and runbook patterns across quote-to-cash and GTM integrations, with proactive health checks and synthetic monitoring for critical flows (e.g., Salesforce ↔ NetSuite, Workato).
- Extend observability coverage to GCP Cloud Run workloads — Cloud Scheduler jobs, agent pipelines, and integration microservices — and AWS-hosted agent infrastructure.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for platform incidents and drive post-incident reviews with actionable remediation plans.
CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE & ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT
- Manage sandbox, staging, and production environment lifecycles across GTM platforms — including refresh cycles, data masking, environment segmentation, and promotion standards that balance speed with reliability.
- Own cloud infrastructure for Business Systems-operated workloads on GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Secret Manager, GCS, Artifact Registry) and AWS (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, Secrets Manager, Bedrock AgentCore); apply IaC practices to make provisioning repeatable and auditable.
- Establish base image pinning, dependency vulnerability scanning, and supply chain security practices for containerized workloads — particularly AI-generated codebases deployed via tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
- Define and enforce patch management and container runtime ownership for vibe-coded and agentic workloads entering production.
SECRETS, ACCESS & SECURITY POSTURE
- Establish and enforce a consistent secrets management standard across all Business Systems workloads — GCP Secret Manager, AWS Secrets Manager, and equivalent — eliminating credential exposure via environment variables, source code, or client-side contexts.
- Define and maintain API key rotation policies in alignment with security standards (high-severity keys: quarterly; vendor keys: annually at minimum).
- Partner with Security and IT on IAM scoping, least-privilege service accounts, VPC configuration, and public/private endpoint governance for Cloud Run and Bedrock deployments.
- Maintain a centralized registry of deployed workloads — GitHub repos, deployment URLs, architecture docs, data classification, and observability dashboard links — accessible to AppSec and infrastructure teams.
AUTOMATION & TOOLING
- Build internal tooling, automation scripts, and automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, regression) to reduce toil and increase deployment confidence; continuously evaluate new tooling to improve developer experience.
- Develop or enforce GitHub repository templates for Cloud Run deployments that cover security audits, deployment configuration, API integration, and MCP server patterns — serving as a reusable foundation for AI-assisted builds.
GOVERNANCE, STANDARDS & COLLABORATION
- Define where self-service deployment and administration are appropriate versus where stronger change control and operational guardrails are required; serve as the DevOps SME, enabling developers to operate with autonomy within those boundaries.
- Document and maintain operational runbooks, architecture decision records (ADRs), and deployment standards as living artifacts.
- Collaborate with IT, Data Engineering, Security, and business stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives that touch the GTM platform.
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering role
- 2+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing Salesforce environments (SFDX, Salesforce CLI, scratch orgs, sandboxes, change sets, or pipeline-based deployments)
- Experience with at least one additional GTM/ERP platform, such as NetSuite, MuleSoft, or Workato, in an operational or deployment capacity
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Copado
- Hands-on experience with GCP services — Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Secret Manager, Artifact Registry, GCS — in a deployment or operations context
- Experience with AWS services in an integration or operations context — Lambda, S3, SQS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch; familiarity with Bedrock AgentCore or similar managed agent hosting infrastructure is a strong plus
- Experience managing containerized workloads, including image lifecycle, dependency scanning, and supply chain security practices
- Experience with incident management, on-call processes, and writing post-incident reviews
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Technical
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Node.js for automation and tooling
- Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and version control best practices
- Understanding of API-based integration patterns (REST, SOAP, event-driven) as they apply to MuleSoft, Workato, or similar iPaaS tools
- Hands-on familiarity with secrets management across GCP Secret Manager and AWS Secrets Manager; strong grasp of security best practices in CI/CD contexts (least-privilege IAM, no hardcoded credentials, key rotation)
- Monitoring and observability tooling experience (Datadog, Splunk, Google Cloud Monitoring, CloudWatch, or similar)
- Infrastructure-as-code proficiency — Terraform or CloudFormation; experience applying IaC to Cloud Run or Lambda-based workloads preferred
- Familiarity with container security practices: base image pinning, vulnerability scanning (e.g., Artifact Registry, Trivy), and dependency management for AI-generated codebases
Operational & Mindset
- Ownership: Takes full accountability for platform uptime, deployment quality, and the operational health of GTM infrastructure end-to-end.
- Velocity: Operates with a bias for action — ships iteratively, reduces toil systematically, and keeps release cycles fast and predictable.
- AI & Automation mindset: Actively leverages AI-assisted tooling and automation to accelerate delivery, improve reliability, and reduce manual overhead across the GTM stack.
- Collaboration: Fluent cross-functional partner to developers, architects, Security, IT, and business stakeholders — enables autonomy without becoming a bottleneck.
- Growth: Continuously evaluates new tooling, patterns, and practices to raise the bar on platform engineering and developer experience.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK WITH
- Salesforce: Core GTM CRM platform; this role owns deployment pipelines, environment management, and release reliability across orgs.
- NetSuite: ERP platform integrated into the quote-to-cash flow; managed via SuiteScript/SuiteBundler within CI/CD standards.
- MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform): Integration middleware; this role maintains deployment pipelines and observability for MuleSoft-managed flows.
- Workato: iPaaS automation platform; monitored and deployed within the broader GTM reliability framework.
- GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Secret Manager, Artifact Registry, GCS): Primary cloud platform for AI agent workloads and integration microservices.
- AWS (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, Secrets Manager, Bedrock AgentCore): Secondary cloud environment for agent hosting and integration operations.
- GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Copado: CI/CD tooling used to build, validate, and promote changes across GTM platforms.
- Terraform / CloudFormation: IaC tooling for repeatable, auditable infrastructure provisioning.
- Datadog / Splunk / Google Cloud Monitoring / CloudWatch: Observability and alerting stack across GTM and cloud workloads.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion is looking for an experienced engineer who has designed and built secure software systems to help define the security foundations for our AI products. You’ll work with product and engineering teams on agent runtimes, tool permissions, retrieval, content writes, observability, and abuse-resistant design. You’ll turn product risks into clear architecture, reusable guardrails, automated tests, and production systems that help teams ship new features safely.
This role is based in San Francisco. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Define and build security architecture for product surfaces that operate across customer workspace content, including tool execution, content writes, retrieval, permission checks, provenance, and auditability.
- Make the secure path the easy path for product teams by shipping reusable libraries, review patterns, test fixtures, and guardrails that prevent classes of vulnerabilities.
- Build automated red-team and regression testing for risks such as prompt injection, indirect instruction following, data exfiltration, tool misuse, cross-tenant leakage, and unsafe workspace mutations.
- Translate threat models for new product surfaces into concrete engineering requirements, production checks, and launch criteria.
- Use production signals, incident learnings, and targeted experiments to harden Notion over time, then feed those learnings back into architecture and developer workflows.
- Help define the security bar for how engineers use coding agents, MCP-enabled tools, hooks, and internal automation without introducing new risk.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Secure software engineering craft: You have 8-10+ years of experience designing, building, or securing complex software systems, and you are comfortable working in production code with product and platform engineers.
- Security architecture judgment: You can look at a complex system and reason about where the permissions, data flow, or trust boundaries are likely to get weird, and help re-design it to make them better.
- Security product strategy: You can turn a complex security risk you see into a product design or architecture that can be built.
- Builder mindset: You’d rather leave behind a useful tool, test, library, or pattern than a task or project for someone else to pick up later.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience building or securing products with tool use, retrieval, workflow automation, content writes, or complex permission boundaries.
- Hands-on experience with prompt-injection testing, red teaming, model behavior evaluation, or abuse-resistant application design.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS security models: permissions, sharing, audit logs, data residency, encryption, compliance, or customer-facing trust guarantees.
- Experience building developer tooling, CI checks, coding-agent workflows, MCP integrations, or internal frameworks that shape how engineers build software.
- Public security research, vulnerability writeups, conference talks, or open-source work related to product security or secure developer infrastructure.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $270,000 - $340,000 per year.

We deliver only the best, so we are always in search of the best people to join our ever-growing talented team.
The Head of Risk will be the accountable risk leader for the UK entity, responsible for ensuring that all material risks affecting UK clients, regulatory posture, and operational resilience are identified, assessed, monitored, and reported effectively. This is a broad role covering financial risk (excluding direct dealing oversight), operational risk, conduct risk, and third party/outsourcing risk.
A defining characteristic of this role is its operating model. Many core risk functions are delivered by the Group Risk team on an outsourced or shared services basis. The Head of Risk does not need to build and staff every capability locally. Instead, they must be skilled at managing outsourced service delivery: defining what the UK entity requires, holding Group Risk accountable for quality and timeliness, identifying gaps or conflicts between Group delivery and UK regulatory obligations, and escalating where service levels or outputs fall short.
This creates a dual mandate. The role holder must be a credible, senior risk professional who can engage substantively with risk content (frameworks, stress tests, MI, regulatory submissions). They must also be an effective governance operator who can manage intra group outsourcing relationships with the same rigour the FCA would expect for any outsourced critical or important function.
The role reports directly to the UK CEO with a functional dotted line to the Group CRO. The Head of Risk will be the primary risk voice in UK governance forums and the lead point of contact for FCA supervisory engagement on risk matters.
Responsibilities
UK Risk Accountability and Framework Ownership
Own the UK enterprise risk management framework end to end, ensuring it is proportionate, current, and aligned with FCA expectations under SYSC, PRIN, and Consumer Duty
Maintain the UK Risk Register with clear ownership, assessment methodology, defined review cycles, and escalation triggers
Own the UK risk management framework and RAS, translating Group risk appetite into UK specific decision boundaries that reflect local regulatory constraintsProvide independent 2nd line oversight and challenge to 1st line risk owners across operations, technology, client services, and commercial functions (excluding dealing, which reports separately)
Outsourced Risk Service Management
Act as the intelligent client for risk services delivered by the Group Risk team, including but not limited to: market risk monitoring, credit/counterparty risk assessment, quantitative risk modelling, stress testing, and risk MI production
Define and document what the UK entity requires from Group Risk in terms of scope, quality, timeliness, and regulatory standard, formalised through an intra group service level framework or equivalent
Monitor and challenge the quality and completeness of Group Risk outputs before they are used in UK governance forums, board packs, or regulatory submissions
Identify gaps between Group Risk delivery and UK specific regulatory requirements, and escalate where those gaps create risk to the UK entity’s compliance posture
Maintain an outsourcing risk assessment for Group Risk services consistent with FCA expectations for oversight of outsourced critical or important functions under SYSC 8
Ensure that the UK entity retains sufficient knowledge and capability locally to oversee outsourced risk functions, avoiding inappropriate dependency on Group without independent local scrutiny
Regulatory, Prudential, and Conduct Risk
Lead or substantively oversee the UK ICARA (Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment) process, coordinating with Group Risk and Group Finance on stress testing, scenario analysis, and capital/liquidity adequacy
Ensure market risk, credit/counterparty risk, and concentration risk are monitored and reported to a standard that meets MIFIDPRU requirements, whether produced locally or by Group
Integrate conduct risk assessment into product governance, pricing decisions, and client outcome monitoring in line with Consumer Duty (PRIN 2A)
Oversee operational risk including business continuity, IT resilience, and third party risk, ensuring the UK entity maintains visibility even where platforms and infrastructure are managed at Group level
Reporting and Management Information
Deliver risk MI to the UK Board, UK ExCo, and relevant governance committees on a defined cadence, with clear narrative on trends, near breaches, breaches, and required actions
Own and maintain Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) across all material risk domains, each with predefined thresholds and mandatory escalation actionsPrepare risk sections for board packs, regulatory returns, and FCA supervisory engagement materials
Critically assess risk MI received from Group Risk before presenting to UK governance forums, ensuring it accurately reflects UK specific exposures and is not simply a Group level aggregation
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for risk matters with the FCA during supervisory interactions, skilled persons reviews, and thematic exercises
Maintain effective working relationships with the Group CRO and Group Risk team, balancing collaborative alignment with independent challenge where UK interests diverge from Group priorities
Collaborate with the Head of Compliance (SMF16/17) to ensure clear delineation of 2nd line responsibilities with no gaps or duplication
Engage with internal and external auditors on risk related findings, ensuring timely remediation and structural fixes
Team and Capability Building
Build the UK risk function progressively as the office grows, identifying where local capability is needed versus where Group delivery remains appropriate
Embed a risk aware culture across the UK office through training, practical challenge, and visible engagement with 1st line teams
Requirements
Substantial experience (typically 8+ years) in risk management within FCA regulated financial services, with demonstrable exposure to CFD, spread betting, or leveraged derivatives businesses
Deep working knowledge of FCA regulatory expectations for risk management under SYSC, PRIN, Consumer Duty (PRIN 2A), and MIFIDPRU prudential requirements
Proven experience managing outsourced or shared service risk functions, including defining service requirements, monitoring delivery quality, and escalating shortfalls. This is a critical differentiator for this role
Experience designing and operating enterprise risk frameworks including risk registers, risk appetite statements, KRI frameworks, and ICARA/ICAAP processes
Strong understanding of financial risk (market, credit/counterparty, liquidity), operational risk, and conduct risk in the context of a retail leveraged trading platform
Experience preparing and critically reviewing risk MI for boards and senior governance forums, including the ability to identify where MI masks underlying issues
Experience engaging with the FCA in a supervisory context, whether directly or as a substantive contributor to supervisory dialogue
Understanding of the 3 lines of defence model and comfort operating independently within a structure where many 2nd line services are delivered centrally by a Group function
Strong governance instincts: the ability to distinguish between aligned Group support and inappropriate delegation of UK regulatory accountability
Desirable
Experience with FCA expectations for oversight of outsourced critical or important functions under SYSC 8 and the FCA’s broader outsourcing and third party risk guidance (FG16/5)
Experience with CASS client money and asset requirements, particularly CASS 7 and CASS 6 audit processes
Familiarity with the Complaints, Claims, and Indemnity (CCI) regime under PS25/20
Professional qualifications: IRM Certificate/Diploma, FRM, PRM, or equivalent
Experience within a multi entity group structure where local regulatory obligations must be balanced against Group efficiency and standardisation pressures
Proficiency with risk analytics tools including Python/R for quantitative analysis and Tableau for risk dashboards

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We're seeking an experienced software engineer to build the platform behind governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) at Anthropic. Compliance information lives across dozens of systems, from cloud infrastructure and identity providers to HR platforms and code repositories. You'll build the pipelines, integrations, and services that bring that data together and turn it into automated checks, real-time dashboards, and evidence for real time decision making, compliance obligations, and to support expanding the markets we can serve.
You will be an early member of the team, collaborating with stakeholders across Security, IT, Engineering, Privacy Engineering, Legal, Finance, and more to turn manual compliance processes into scalable, reliable systems. You will lead your own projects end to end, and you will put Claude to work as an extension of the team through agentic workflows for evidence collection, analysis, and continuous monitoring. If you've built internal platforms, data pipelines, or privacy systems, you'll feel right at home, and you don't need a compliance background to get started.
Key responsibilities
Design and build data pipelines that aggregate risk, control, and asset information from across Anthropic's technology stack, solving hard integration problems like disparate schemas, inconsistent data quality, and unified views of posture
Build and maintain integrations connecting our platform to cloud infrastructure, identity management, HRIS, ticketing, version control, and CI/CD systems to enable automated evidence collection and continuous validation
Translate written policies and regulatory requirements into policy-as-code, turning static documents and spreadsheets into enforceable rules, automated checks, and continuous monitoring
Design and deploy agentic workflows where Claude handles work that previously required manual effort, such as analyzing evidence, generating audit responses, and monitoring control effectiveness
Develop dashboards and reporting that provide real-time visibility into risk and compliance posture for audiences ranging from engineers to executives and external auditors
Make architectural decisions that shape how the platform grows, establishing patterns and tooling that other engineers will build on
Partner with Security, IT, Infrastructure, and product engineering teams to make controls and evidence collection native to how Anthropic builds and ships
Operate what you build, owning reliability and data integrity for systems that audits and executive reporting depend on
Minimum qualifications
Have 8+ years of experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or internal platforms that other teams depend on, ideally operating at tech lead level
Are a systems thinker who understands how data flows between systems, where the integration points are, and what breaks when systems don't talk to each other
Have depth in either integration engineering (REST APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, event-driven architectures) or data infrastructure (warehousing, ELT/ETL, orchestration), and fluency in the other
Are proficient in Python, Go, or similar languages, and have production experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code
Hold a high bar for data quality and reliability, and enjoy turning ambiguous, manual processes into simple, reliable automated systems
Take full ownership of your work, from design through deployment and operations, and can navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions independently
Take a product-focused approach to platform work and care about building tools internal customers love to use
Are excited to build with LLMs as system components, designing agentic workflows, evaluating their outputs, and making them reliable enough for high-stakes use
Preferred qualifications
Experience in domains where engineering meets regulation, such as privacy engineering, data governance, fintech, healthcare, or trust and safety
Experience designing and shipping LLM-based or agentic automation in production or operational contexts
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP) or GRC platforms (ServiceNow, Vanta, Drata, OneTrust); this is helpful but not required
Prior experience at high-growth startups, building processes and systems that scale
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

The Security Risk team is responsible for how Anthropic identifies, prioritizes, and drives treatment of its most important security risks. We are rebuilding risk management to operate as an engineering function through automation and AI-native platforms to enable decision making. The systems we assess span Anthropic’s full security landscape, from authorization primitives to cryptographic foundations, so the team needs breadth across domains and the ability to go deep in any of them. Security Risk, in deep partnership with Security Engineering, will help define the security program to shape how both engineers and non-engineers build and ship software.
The conventional GRC playbook was not built for a company shipping frontier AI. You will help define what replaces it, with a direct line to CISO-level decisions and the mandate to build the AI-native platform underneath. You’ll work across a breadth of areas from identity and secrets management to infrastructure security, with your focus shaped by your strengths, ability to learn quickly, and the team’s priorities. This is largely greenfield work, and you will help define the architecture and discipline.
Key responsibilities
Take ownership of Anthropic’s most complex security risk problems and drive them end to end with minimal oversight, turning ambiguous signals into a defensible view of severity and likelihood and seeing them through escalation, treatment decisions, and remediation
Build the systems that make risk measurable and let risk work scale, including quantification tooling, automated intake and triage, and the observability that partner teams use to understand their own risk posture
Work alongside Security Engineering as a calibrated technical peer who pressure tests architectures and treatment plans, translates findings into prioritized remediation roadmaps, and makes the investment case for what to fix now, what to accept and track, and what to defer
Mentor engineers and risk practitioners across Security and the broader engineering organization, and help build a risk engineering culture in which teams own their risks and our team provides the visibility and judgment that supports the
Security risk engineering
Work across the breadth of Anthropic’s security landscape, spanning areas like identity and secrets management, developer security and supply chain, infrastructure security, and secure frameworks, and build the context needed to reason about risk credibly in each
Go deep where a risk demands it, understanding how these systems are built and how they fail so that assessments and treatment plans reflect engineering reality rather than abstraction
Risk assessment and quantification
Identify systematic risks through threat modeling and structured assessment, then drive the severity calibration and escalation conversations that follow, bringing leadership a defensible position and a clear recommendation that holds up under pointed questions
Contribute to the team’s quantitative risk work, applying methods such as calibrated estimation and Monte Carlo simulation where they meaningfully change a resource or treatment decision
Risk platform and automation
Design and build AI-native risk tooling that uses Claude to classify incoming risks, augment triage, and continuously sense changes in our risk landscape as teams ship
Create the dashboards and data pipelines that give engineering and product teams real-time visibility into their risk posture and make distributed ownership of risk practical
Remediation strategy and investment
Partner with Security Engineering and risk owners to design remediation roadmaps that are explicit about sequencing, ownership, and the investment required
Measure outcomes rather than activity, focusing on decisions made and risk reduced
Minimum qualifications
At least 8 years of software engineering or security engineering experience, including leading and remediating complex security risks independently
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Strong programming skills in Python or at least one systems language such as Go, Rust, or C/C++
Broad knowledge across the core security engineering domains, with depth in at least one, including identity and secrets management, developer security and supply chain, infrastructure and cloud security, and secure frameworks
Calibrated risk judgment, meaning you can put a defensible severity and likelihood on an ambiguous problem and change your position when the evidence changes
Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives and navigating complex organizational dynamics
Outstanding communication skills, translating technical concepts effectively across all levels of the organization
A track record of bringing clarity and ownership to ambiguous technical problems and driving them to resolution
Low ego and high empathy, with a history of growing the engineers around you and supporting diverse, inclusive teams
Passion for AI safety and the role security and risk management play in building trustworthy AI systems
Preferred qualifications
