Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the Team
At Deliveroo we’re striving to build London’s best and most admired Security Engineering organisation as part of our global team based across North America and Europe.
Our London based Security Engineering team is looking for a
Senior GRC Engineer.
You will be a part of our inclusive, collaborative global team responsible.
This is a London based position reporting directly to the Security Compliance Manager based in London.
About the Role
We're hiring a
Senior GRC Engineer
to help take DoorDash's compliance program from something people run to something the platform runs on its own. You'll take primary ownership of how regulatory and framework change gets tracked, interpreted, and turned into real controls - one part of a broader GRC function that spans audit, policy, and risk. Day to day, that means less time updating spreadsheets and more time writing the automation, integrations, and control logic that let audit evidence collect itself.
You'll also lead major external audits from start to finish and help shape the policies and control standards the rest of the program is built on.
This is a hands-on role for someone who already has deep audit and assurance experience, wants to spend more time building than briefing and can move a program forward, and change how people work, without needing the title to make it happen.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Build the regulatory and framework change-management process that keeps DoorDash ahead of new obligations, instead of reacting to them.
Move manual, point-in-time compliance work onto Compliance-as-Code foundations: policy-as-code, automated control testing, and continuous evidence collection wired into CI/CD, so audit readiness holds up between audits, not just during them.
Design and run agentic workflows for evidence analysis, control testing, and audit response preparation, with a human in the loop where assurance demands it.
Partner directly with engineering and architecture teams to design controls into new systems at build time and translate that technical work into the narratives auditors actually need.
Partner with the Security Compliance Manager to shape and mature the global compliance program.
Design, implement and validate security controls relevant to DoorDash’s regulatory environment, not just document them.
Support development and refinement of security policies, standards, and guidance.
Mentor other members of the compliance team and help set the technical bar the rest of the function grows into.
Ensure policies are actionable, testable, and aligned to real-world controls.
We’re excited about you because you have…
6+ years of experience in security compliance, GRC or technology risk, with a strong track record in high-growth, technology-driven and regulated environments.
Hands-on experience building large language models and agent workflows with daily use of AI in your own work, grounded judgment on what to delegate to agents versus what needs a human, and the ability to evidence both to an auditor. DoorDash is an AI-forward organization and the ability to optimize efficiency using AI is crucial in this role.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with frameworks such as DORA, the EU AI Act, NIS2 and CRA.
Real, hands-on experience implementing and assessing controls against frameworks like PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001 - not just reading them.
Demonstrated ability to identify control gaps, assess risk and drive remediation in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience developing, implementing and improving security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they are operational and effective.
Strong understanding of compliance metrics and reporting, with the ability to track control effectiveness, audit outcomes, and risk exposure.
Ability to influence and drive accountability across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex audit and compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
Comfort owning compliance metrics and reporting - you can show, not just assert, that a program is working.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Walk new customers through setup, so they understand how the product works and how to use it day to day
Answer questions about cards, transactions, currency exchange (FX), payments and how the product works
Take over from the chatbot when customers need a real person, replying to chats and messages from the client dashboard

Solve most customer questions yourself (first-line support) and recognise when a case needs a specialist
Escalate complex cases (second- and third-line support) to our banking, card-issuing and payment-processing partners and to colleagues in other teams
Follow each case until it is resolved, chase for updates and keep the customer informed along the way
Keep clear, accurate case records and flag problems that keep coming up, so we can fix them at the source
Continuous Improvement
Collect customer feedback and use it to improve our FAQs, chatbot answers, onboarding guides and support processes
Help us hit our service targets: fast replies, quick resolutions and happy customers

- Act as the voice of enablement for GTM teams, making sure they have the right information at the right time, through the right channels.
- Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, and RevOps to sync launches, messaging, and process changes.
📊 MEASURE WHAT MATTERS AND MAKE ENABLEMENT A GROWTH DRIVER
- Define and track KPIs to demonstrate enablement’s impact on sales productivity, pipeline velocity, and deal size.
- Build a competency scorecard with GTM managers to support coaching and performance management.
- Use insights from sales calls, Gong data, and product usage to continuously refine your programs.

- 💼 Deal complexity experience: You've enabled teams selling mid-market to enterprise deals (6 to low-7 figures).
- 🧑💻 Technical buyer fluency: You understand how to sell to technical personas (CTOs, engineering managers) and can translate that into training that resonates with a technical AE audience.
- 📚 Learning program design: You’ve built high-quality, scalable training programs tailored to different GTM roles and seniority levels.
- 🗣️ Strong communicator: You excel at turning complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, and actionable content for sales teams.
- 🧘 Organized and proactive: You’re structured, self-directed, and take ownership without needing hand-holding.
- 🤝 Customer-first mindset: You focus on enabling the team to better articulate our value and deliver better buyer experiences.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🤖 Passion for automation and AI: You’re excited by the space we’re building in — and it shows.

WHY JOIN US?
This is your chance to build something from the ground up: a high-leverage enablement function in a high-growth company, with a direct line to revenue impact. You'll be joining a supportive, fast-moving, and collaborative team where enablement is viewed as a strategic lever, not a support function. Help us scale our product, our message, and our people.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Team leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Sales Engineers, providing support to help onboard and develop team members. This role reports to our Head of Sales Engineering.
- Set clear performance expectations: Establish and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives for the team. Monitor individual and team performance to ensure everyone is working towards meeting or exceeding goals.
- GTM technical expert: Design and demo Sierra’s incredible Agent product, offering technical solutions to solve for our customer’s needs, and answering technical questions about our solutions.
- Cross-functional work: You will work directly with our Sales, Product and Agent Engineering teams to both drive our GTM function, as well as continuously improve our Agents through our customer-driven product development philosophy.
- Lead & support our customers: As a GTM and technical leader in the earliest conversations with our future customers, you will both understand and anticipate their needs to continue our industry-leading AI solution.
- Identify & strengthen partnerships: Identify opportunities and strengthen partnership between Sales Engineering and Sales teams to ensure alignment in objectives, seamless customer engagement, and efficient handoffs. Promote a culture of teamwork and shared goals, creating joint strategies to enhance both technical and commercial outcomes.
- Lead across APJ: Build and lead the Sales Engineering team across Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Korea, and Japan. Adapt our technical sales motion to each market's customers, languages, and buying processes, and partner with regional Sales leaders to grow Sierra's presence across the region.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 6+ years experience in managing a team of Sales Engineers or Solutions Engineers.
- Past experience in demo building, and presenting, and working with customers or clients in the GTM function.
- Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders.
- Experience in leading the sales process with Enterprise customers.
- A track record of deploying and leading Sales Engineering or Solutions Engineering teams across APJ markets, including Southeast Asia, ANZ, Korea, and Japan.
- Ability to connect a prospect’s specific business problems and Sierra’s solutions and explain them to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Bachelor's Degree or above; bonus if in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
WHAT WE OFFER

Eligible full-time employees can participate in Sierra's equity plans subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
BE YOU, WITH US
We're working to bring the transformative power of AI to every organization in the world. To do so, it is important to us that the diversity of our employees represents the diversity of our customers. We believe that our work and culture are better when we encourage, support, and respect different skills and experiences represented within our team. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🤖 THE OFFER AREA
We’re the engine that decides what Alan sells, at what price, and on what terms.
Every Alan member, from a 3-person startup to a public administration body with 200K+ collaborators is covered by an offer that our area designed, priced, contracted and renews every year.
We own the whole offer lifecycle for several kind of services (health insurance, life & disability insurance, employee benefits) across 4 countries. We manage an incredible business complexity and diversity in a scalable way, and most importantly, we empower others to act autonomously on it:
- Offer creation: Enabling Sales to build compliant and relevant offers themselves in minutes, with a real-time pricer and AI assistance, without waiting days for an actuary.
- Contract Lifecycle: Not only signing a contract in one go and writing the settings that become the source of truth for the rest of Alan, but also providing Business Ops with the tools they need to pilot over the years a portfolio of 100K+ contracts
- Enabling growth: We’re at the root of Alan’s Insurance stack. Our technical decisions have a long reach: Claims, Billing and many other teams depends on us. We are key to lift blockers and enable the opening of new segments or markets.
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL BUILD AND WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
- 🌍 One insurance stack for every country. We're replacing country-by-country code with a shared "Core Stack": one set of shared rules, with room for local differences. Spain already runs on it, and we’re now tackling France. The architecture decisions you make will shape how Alan sells insurance for the next 10 years. (How we made our offer builder global https://medium.com/alan/how-we-refactored-one-of-our-most-used-data-models-33cadaf31313)
- 🤖 AI-native underwriting. Insurance is complex, and most insurers need actuaries on every quote. We empower our Sales to build compliant and relevant offers themselves in minutes. AI-assisted smart alternatives, price explanations, pitching and more are already in the Sales hands, and there’s much more to build.
- 🛡️ Life & Disability as a first-class product: We’re bringing this historically smaller product at Alan to the same level of maturity as Health, with first class member XP, Ops and enabling access to a much wider population.
- 🧑🚀 A growing team. You'll hire it, shape it, and decide what it works on. Talent density, onboarding, feedback, and the mix of skills the area needs are yours to own.
- 🛡️ Technical direction and operational excellence. Architecture calls, quality standards and shaping the organization and incident response as we scale to more countries. And you stay hands-on: at Alan, engineering leaders are expected to build.
⚡ WHY THIS ROLE IS SPECIAL
- Dual impact: Shape both technical excellence and team growth, engineers become better while building better products
- Leadership growth: Influence engineering culture, mentor future leaders, and drive technical strategy that shapes the future of healthcare delivery
- Your users sit next to you: Hundred of Alaners use what your team ships every day. The feedback loop between building and impact is very short, which allows you to iterate and move quickly.
- Complex domain, simple software: Regulated domain, many countries, many segments… The job is to model a messy real world into a stack that stays simple and easy to extend.
- Direct business impact. We own pricing, contract lifecycle and Sales tooling. We have a direct impact on Alan’s margin and growth.
🔍 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an engineering leader who gets excited about building state-of-the-art AI systems and applying them to real-world, high-stakes problems in healthcare.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years leading engineering teams, with a track record of building high performers.
- You partner with other product functions as a true equal: you shape the roadmap, name trade-offs honestly, and help the team commit to what it can actually deliver.
TECHNICAL FOUNDATIONS
- Experience establishing engineering excellence standards, with the ability to guide architectural decisions.
- First-hand experience shipping AI or LLM products to production is a big plus.
- You're excited and eager to keep writing code. You still review it, and you still ship some yourself.
- Comfortable with modern development practices and AI-assisted development tools.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Curious, self-starting, humble, collaborative, and eager to grow.
- You develop people as much as you develop products.
- Ex-founders are typically a great fit in our team.
MISSION ALIGNMENT
- Healthcare technology and innovation excite you
- You understand that great engineering teams are built on psychological safety and continuous learning
But above all, we are looking for high potential and curiosity: make sure to show us this when you apply!
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
We’re looking for Senior Product Manager & Product Sales Lead in Madrid!
This is a rare mandate: full product ownership and commercial ownership and sales leadership of a global card issuing, working capital and embedded finance solution — with P&L accountability and a clear path to scale from Europe into the Middle East, APAC and beyond. You won't just build the roadmap; you'll own the revenue outcome and lead how it's sold into two very different buyer worlds: Treasury & Finance, and Media & Marketing.
If you want a senior PM seat where product strategy and commercial performance are the same job, not two separate ones, this is built for that.
What is AlephPay?
AlephPay is the business card built for digital advertising and designed to become your primary card for all business spend. It combines flexible credit, reliable payments, spend control, and rewards in one solution, covering everything from media spend to everyday expenses, so your campaigns keep running without interruption.
You can create dedicated virtual cards for clients, campaigns, teams, or other business needs while keeping full visibility and control over company spending. AlephPay also simplifies expense management and reconciliation, making it easier for finance teams to manage all business spend in one place.
And because it's built around advertising, AlephPay rewards the way you already spend: eligible ad spend earns media rewards you can reinvest into your campaigns, while everyday business purchases unlock additional benefits that help your business grow.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Expansion
Own product strategy, roadmap, value proposition and lifecycle
Shape expansion strategy and evaluate build, partner or hybrid models by capability, market and region
Develop card-based embedded finance propositions across spend management, T&E, corporate spend, working capital and financing
Lead international expansion across Europe, Middle East, APAC and other priority markets
P&L & Commercial
Own product P&L, business cases, revenue targets and commercial performance
Define and optimise pricing, revenue streams and product economics
Lead the Product Sales Specialist team and align product revenue execution with Media Sales
Monitor key performance drivers and act to improve revenue and margin
Sales & GTM
Act as senior SME for card issuing and embedded finance in strategic account discussions with Treasury, Finance, Media and Marketing stakeholders
Develop sales toolkits, value propositions, use cases and competitive positioning
Lead GTM coordination across Sales, Marketing, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology and external partners
Own strategic relationships with issuers, processors and embedded finance partners
What You Need For This Role
Strong experience in card issuing, commercial cards and/or embedded finance.
Product management and commercialisation of payment or financial products with P&L responsibility.
Experience with working capital or financing solutions linked to B2B payments.
Strong knowledge of issuing ecosystems, payment flows, pricing, interchange, FX and corporate payment processes.
International market expansion and complex partner management experience.
Experience in digital media, advertising, adtech or media buying is a strong plus.
What Will Make Us Really Love You
You bring a track record of success in a similar role, with hands-on experience.
You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring fresh, out-of-the-box ideas to the table.
You anticipate challenges before they arise and take initiative to find effective solutions.
You have an eye for detail.
You thrive on teamwork but also bring a driven, goal-oriented spirit.
You’re genuinely enthusiastic about advertising, ad-tech, and staying ahead of industry trends.
You have the ability to engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a positive and approachable way.
What You’ll Love About Us
We care about your individuality by giving you freedom to grow and create within the company, regardless of your position
Learn from the best: Our state of the art workshops guarantee the latest insights into digital advertising
Be part of a company with a truly global footprint, working with leading brands, platforms, and publishers across 90+ markets.
We foster a dynamic environment where creativity, collaboration, and bold ideas are encouraged and celebrated.
Join a diverse, multicultural team that values and embraces different perspectives, experiences, and talents.
At Aleph, your work directly contributes to connecting brands and consumers in meaningful ways, shaping the future of digital advertising.
In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, we are committed to fair and open compensation practices. For this role, the minimum gross annual base salary is EUR 72,000. In addition to base salary, this role includes a variable component, paid annually. The final offer will reflect your experience, skills, and the scope of the role.
Why Join Us?
Aleph is a place of many cultures, perspectives, and talents. We support each other, creating an environment of giving and receiving. We value partnership and communication because we believe it takes a group of people to achieve great things. We are energized by our ever-changing industry, our curiosity keeps us learning and seeking out new opportunities.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Anthropic's People Legal team is looking for a Lead Employment Counsel to build the legal foundation for our growing workforce across Asia-Pacific. You'll partner closely with our People team and business leaders to design and run employment programs in the region that help our people do their best work.
This role pairs deep employment law expertise with pragmatism and creativity. You'll build structures that manage legal risk across several APAC countries today and that will hold up as our presence in the region scales. You'll also help colleagues around the world understand how local requirements shape the way we hire, manage, and support people in APAC.
Key responsibilities
Serve as the primary employment lawyer for Anthropic's APAC region, partnering with People and business leaders across People programs, policies and day-to-day issues
Build and maintain the legal infrastructure for new and existing APAC jurisdictions, including Japan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore and India
Advise on market entry and workforce structuring, including acquisitions, employer of record arrangements, contractor classification, and headcount thresholds that trigger local obligations
Partner with Compensation, Benefits, and Equity teams so that global programs are compliant and scalable
Guide employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, in line with local law and practice
Develop and manage strategy on employment disputes across the region, from pre-litigation claims through tribunal and court proceedings, in partnership with outside counsel
Track legislative and regulatory developments across the region, including employee data privacy and emerging rules on AI in employment, and turn them into practical guidance
Develop scalable templates, playbooks, and training that enable stakeholders to operate compliantly
Minimum qualifications
Hold a law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) and meet the local licensing requirements to work as in-house counsel where you'll be based
Have deep subject-matter expertise on employment law across multiple APAC countries
Write clearly and concisely, and can provide actionable guidance to non-lawyers
Balance legal risk with business practicality, and work collaboratively with legal and business cross-functional partners
Work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple time zones
Preferred qualifications
At least 12+ years of relevant employment legal experience across law firms and in-house, with demonstrated experience supporting companies through rapid growth
Experience advising People and business teams on the practical application of employment laws in Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, and Singapore
Creative and pragmatic in your approach to developing legal solutions to business problems
Working knowledge of employee data privacy requirements across the region

Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile app growth and monetization, challenging the status quo of adtech by redefining how apps acquire users and generate revenue. Our two products, Playtime Arcade and adjoe Ads, sit at opposite ends of the mobile advertising spectrum: rewarded engagement and programmatic in-app advertising. Together they run on 13% of the world's smartphones, connecting advertisers, publishers, and hundreds of millions of users, with one goal: making mobile advertising work better for everyone in the ecosystem.
Next-Gen Machine Intelligence for Scalable Discovery & Engagement
The Data Science Research team builds foundational ML representations and advanced AI capabilities that enhance both Playtime and adjoe Ads. Operating as a horizontal deep-tech layer, the team leverages advanced AI and deep learning approaches—specifically generative approaches —to deliver critical systems such as high-dimensional user embeddings, general content understanding and sequential recommendation. These frameworks scale adjoe's products beyond standard industry limitations, utilizing behavioral and transactional data from over 770 million users.
The team operates at the intersection of bleeding-edge R&D and high-scale production engineering, acting as the company’s internal science bar raiser and primary consulting layer for complex ML bottlenecks. The stack is optimized for deep learning and heavy data throughput: PyTorch and [Ray/Hugging Face] for training and fine-tuning foundation models, Trino and Athena for querying massive user-behavior data lakes, and dedicated GPU infrastructure for heavy workloads. The full lifecycle of these AI capabilities is owned by the team—from academic paper translation and offline prototyping to deploying core algorithmic frameworks built to sustain high-throughput, realtime production environments.
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:
- PhD or equivalent research depth, with a production track record. You have a PhD in CS, Statistics, Math, or Physics, or an MSc with extensive industry research, and publications in top-tier venues like SIGIR, KDD, NeurIPS, or ICLR. You've spent 4+ years building large-scale recommender systems in high-throughput environments: AdTech, e-commerce, or social.
- You translate research into production, not just prototypes. You distill SOTA research into robust, production-ready code optimized for sub-millisecond latency. At adjoe, that means architecting multi-stage recommendation pipelines, Generative Retrieval, Deep Ranking, and Re-ranking, serving millions of requests across a stack built on 770 million users' behavioral data.
- Deep expertise in PyTorch and large-scale model optimization. You have hands-on experience with high-concurrency optimization, model quantization, and distillation, the engineering side of getting large generative models to run under extreme production constraints, not just in research environments.
- Content understanding and embeddings are core to your work. You research and develop information-rich user and ad embeddings using unsupervised and generative approaches, directly improving the quality of predictions across both Playtime and adjoe Ads.
- Raises the technical bar around them. You lead architectural debates, mentor junior scientists, and drive the team's research direction without needing a roadmap handed to you.
🌎 We welcome applications from talent worldwide and provide relocation support to Hamburg, Germany for those ready to join our team.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re helping build the infrastructure behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems you work on will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
- Go Big. Own projects with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
- Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, learn from results, and keep momentum.
- Be Direct. Solve problems openly and collaborate across teams.
- Thrive Together. Grow with a diverse, global team of people from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
- Have Fun. Celebrate wins, enjoy daily victories, and bring your energy.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.

About the Team
The Platform Hiring Team (PHT) is building a centralized, technology-enabled hiring engine for repeatable, high-volume roles across supported DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt businesses.
You'll join Platform Hiring Operations, PHT's business-facing team. This team owns demand, market context, and pipeline health: translating business needs into hiring plans, keeping stakeholders ahead of risk, and clearing blockers before they reach the execution team.
About the Role
You'll own business readiness, attraction, and pipeline health for Wolt Market across the North region. You'll translate business needs into hiring plans, validate demand against strategy and cost, coordinate Marketing and sourcing partners, activate roles when requirements are complete, and monitor progress against hiring dates.

When pipeline volume declines, you'll coordinate targeted sourcing interventions and ensure the execution team has sufficient pipeline. You'll proactively coordinate blockers across onboarding, background checks, training capacity, HR, and local operations.
You'll identify recurring friction and work with the Platform Hiring Manager and PM Team on scalable improvements, automation, and AI adoption. You'll own market and business exceptions that require context beyond the standard platform workflow and maintain clear stakeholder communication and portfolio documentation.
You're excited about this opportunity because ..
Own the business partnership for Wolt Market hiring across the North region.
Collect, validate, and translate hiring demand against workforce strategy, timing, and cost expectations.
Set up approved headcount and role requirements in the active hiring platform.
Own relationships with Marketing, Employer Brand, and sourcing partners for top-of-funnel strategy.
Use historical funnel performance to establish the sourcing and application volume required for delivery.
Activate roles with the Platform Hiring team and maintain clear handoffs, service expectations, and priorities.
Monitor pipeline health, conversion, drop-off, and hiring dates and provide proactive business updates.
Advise business leaders on hiring strategy, attraction, market conditions, location, timing, quality, and delivery trade-offs using funnel and talent-market evidence.
Deploy targeted sourcing interventions or coordinate specialist sourcing support when pipeline volume declines.
Partner with low-volume recruiting teams and business leaders where work crosses operating-model boundaries.
Coordinate blockers across onboarding, background checks, training capacity, HR, and local operations.
Own market and business exceptions that require context beyond the standard platform workflow.
Support approved candidate-facing exceptions, including local-language communication, offer delivery, or low-volume work, while maintaining the standard platform workflow wherever possible.
Escalate recurring friction with evidence, volume, impact, and a recommended path to resolution.
Identify automation and AI use cases, adopt approved solutions, and track their effect on manual work and decision speed.
Maintain accurate portfolio documentation, decisions, risks, and source-of-truth reporting.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the Platform Hiring operating model through practical feedback and evidence from the Wolt Market portfolio.
We're excited about you because
You have 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, high-volume hiring, recruiting operations, or a consultative program role.
You have 3+ years of experience working with, managing, and influencing stakeholders across functions.
You have experience translating hiring demand into practical hiring plans and coordinating sourcing, conversion, offers, and onboarding dependencies.
You are comfortable owning a defined business portfolio and proactively managing its hiring risks and priorities.
You have confidence using hiring data and funnel performance to challenge assumptions and recommend action.
You communicate clearly and proactively, with strong business judgment and a focus on candidate experience.
You can coordinate effectively across Operations, HR, Workforce Planning, Marketing, Employer Brand, and Learning and Development.
You're comfortable with Fountain, Greenhouse, dashboards, workflow automation, continuous improvement, and light program management.
