Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Principal Product Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer with deep expertise in product security, threat modelling, and risk assurance for highly regulated electromechanical systems. In this role, you will lead the delivery of product cybersecurity across Humanoid's HMND 01 platform family — the Alpha Wheeled industrial robot and the Alpha Bipedal home robot — both powered by our KinetIQ VLM/VLA-based AI framework. Working alongside product, firmware, autonomy, and hardware teams as part of the Systems Engineering and Architecture Team, you will define and maintain the cybersecurity assurance strategy for all product security activities from first concept through post-market deployment. Security at Humanoid is an engineering discipline inseparable from functional safety and central to our mission of creating the world's most reliable, commercially scalable, and safe humanoid robots. To excel in this position, you must demonstrate the authority to influence security architecture decisions across complex, cross-functional programmes, the rigour to build defensible security cases for novel cyber-physical systems, and the leadership to grow and guide a cross team of security engineers operating at the frontier of robotics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Team Leadership & Product Security Delivery
- Lead and develop a cross-functional team of security engineers, maintaining accountability for the delivery of product security services within product teams throughout the HMND 01 development lifecycle.
- Define product security requirements and advise development teams on suitable implementation standards, techniques, and toolchains for embedded and AI-enabled robotic systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop security protocols, tools, and processes that keep HMND 01 technologies ahead of emerging threats — including attack surfaces specific to the KinetIQ AI inference pipeline and cloud-to-robot communication architecture.
- Own and maintain key security artefacts for audit-ready cybersecurity documentation including Security Management Plans, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) reports, Risk Assessments, and Remediation Action Plans across both platforms.
Security Assurance & Certification
- Drive security assurance through the full product lifecycle, ensuring every HMND 01 design is robust, compliant, and resilient. Contribute to the continual improvement of security engineering capability across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity obligations under the EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 where cyber controls intersect with safety-critical functions and compliance to IEC 62443 (for industrial/OT product security), and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
- Provide independent Information Assurance (IA) reviews and risk assessments on complex, high-impact projects — with particular focus on cyber-physical systems where a digital compromise could result in physical harm to operators or end users.
- Review and provide guidance on security risk assessments, risk mitigation plans, mitigation gap analysis, and security management documentation in support of system cybersecurity certification.
Incident Response & Lifecycle Security
- Establish and maintain a Product Security Incident Response (PSIR) process, encompassing coordinated vulnerability disclosure, patch deployment pipelines, and post-field incident analysis.
- Define and oversee security monitoring requirements for deployed fleets, ensuring field data feeds back into risk files and security artefacts in line with post-market surveillance obligations.
Commercial & Bid Support
- Support the production of work package descriptions and cost estimates for product bids, services, and proposals that include product security scope.
- Represent Humanoid's security posture in customer and partner engagements, including regulatory consultations and certification body interactions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven, hands-on experience with ISO 27001/27004/27005 and the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), applied to regulated hardware or embedded product programmes.
- Experience owning a security risk management system for highly regulated, safety-critical products — with background drawn from automotive, commercial vehicle, or industrial automation environments.
- Working knowledge of IEC 62443, with the ability to adapt ISO/SAE 21434 lifecycle methodologies to robotic or electromechanical product context.
- Solid understanding of engineering development lifecycles and how the product cybersecurity specialism aligns with systems engineering, functional safety, and hardware/software co-development.
- Ability to interpret Penetration Test reports and author Remediation Action Plans that address identified vulnerabilities in a structured, risk-prioritised manner.
- Clear, structured communication skills — able to articulate complex security risk arguments to both technical engineers and executive stakeholders with equal confidence.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) or equivalent threat modelling methodologies (STRIDE, PASTA) applied to embedded or OT/IT convergent systems.
- Understanding of secure-by-design principles for AI/ML-enabled systems, including securing inference pipelines, model integrity, and cloud-to-edge communication paths.
- Exposure to CAN bus, Ethernet backbone, or wireless interface security in mobile, vehicular, or robotic systems.
- Experience contributing to or establishing a Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT) process or coordinated vulnerability disclosure programme.
- Knowledge of UL 4600, UL 3300, or ISO 13482 and an appreciation of how cybersecurity evidence integrates into safety case arguments.
- Prior engagement with certification bodies (TUV, UL, BSI) or standards development organisations (ISO TC 184, IEC TC 65, SAE, IEEE RAS).
WHAT WE OFFER
- Comprehensive health coverage for US‑based employees, including fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, with virtual care and employee assistance resources.
- Meaningful time off to rest and recharge: 23 days of PTO (accrued), separate sick leave, and paid company holidays.
- 401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer match.
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- Free daily catered lunch, snacks, and drinks in‑office.
- Collaboration with top‑tier engineers, researchers, and product experts in AI and robotics.
- Freedom to influence the product and own key initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:
Lead hands-on security risk reviews of AI use cases and systems from early design through launch readiness.
Assess end-to-end designs to identify material security risks, control gaps, data lineage and classification, and operational concerns.

Coordinate with Responsible AI & Governance, relevant security and technical teams to deliver consistent, well-informed reviews.
Use security tooling and discovery insights to identify emerging risks, engage owners, and support appropriate remediation. Document reviews and findings within SIE GRC systems.
Improve AI security requirements, review practices, reference patterns, and supporting tools as technologies and risks evolve.
Track portfolio trends, communicate significant risks and recurring gaps, and escalate matters requiring additional expertise or risk authority.
What We’re Looking For:
6+ years of experience building, integrating, assessing, or securing technical systems, including significant recent hands-on work with generative AI.
Strong working knowledge of modern AI application stacks and the ability to interrogate designs, trace data and system interactions, and identify meaningful security weaknesses.
Sound understanding of security fundamentals - including identity, permissions, data protection, integrations, and monitoring – and ability to apply these to AI-enabled and agentic systems as well as mapping back to existing security policies and frameworks.
A practical builder mindset, with experience using AI tools, APIs, cloud services, code, or automation to explore systems and improve workflows.
Proven ability to build trust and influence across engineering, product, creative, business, and security teams.
Familiarity and ability to stay current with emerging AI technologies, evolving security risks, AI risk frameworks, and industry trends.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Desirable:
Experience with AI red teaming, adversarial testing, threat modeling, or security evaluations of LLM and agentic systems.
Experience with cloud-based AI platforms, third-party AI services, or enterprise security tooling.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
ABOUT THE JOB
Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer focused on robotics deployment. You will take state-of-the-art AI models and make them work on real robots, in real environments, for real customers. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of machine learning and physical systems: you will own the path from model to deployed autonomy, working alongside robotics engineers, ML researchers, and systems engineers to deliver end-to-end autonomous solutions across diverse use cases.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Integrate AI models with robotic hardware, sensors, and embedded systems, bringing modern perception and language-driven capabilities onto physical platforms.
- Improve the robustness, reliability, and safety of robotic systems operating in real-world, unstructured environments.
- Test and validate algorithms in simulation and in real-world deployments, moving fluidly between the two.
- Analyze field data to improve model performance and system reliability, closing the loop between what happens on the robot and what happens in training.
- Bring up, tune, and debug the autonomy stack — localization, mapping, navigation, and perception — on real hardware, from sensor calibration to real-time performance.
- Develop and tune robot navigation behaviors — path planning, obstacle avoidance — so systems hold up in dynamic, cluttered, and partially observable environments.
- Diagnose failures end-to-end: mapping drift, localization dropouts, perception edge cases, timing issues — and fix them.
- Collaborate with robotics engineers, ML researchers, and systems engineers to deliver complete autonomous solutions for customer use cases, from prototype through production deployment.
- Build and maintain the tooling needed for deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of deployed systems.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering).
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Strong software engineering in Python and/or C++: clean, readable, high-performance code; comfortable working in and improving production codebases.
- Knowledge of robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2.
- Experience with robot perception and state estimation: SLAM, localization and mapping, path planning, sensor fusion, or computer vision.
- Solid mathematical fundamentals — geometry, probability, and estimation — and the judgment to know when a hand-crafted algorithm beats a learned one.
- Familiarity with simulation tools and robotics development environments (e.g. Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable with the messiness of the real world: hardware quirks, edge cases, and field surprises don't scare you.
- Low-ego, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Doesn't need roadmaps. Ships.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience deploying ML models on embedded or edge hardware (GPU/NPU inference, quantization, real-time constraints).
- Hands-on experience with sensor modalities such as LiDAR, depth cameras, or IMUs, including calibration and time-synchronization.
- Exposure to VLM/VLA models or other foundation-model approaches for robot perception and control.
- Experience with navigation in GPS-denied or otherwise challenging environments, or with visual-inertial odometry.
- Working knowledge of established autonomy tooling — e.g. Nav2, SLAM Toolbox, Cartographer, RTAB-Map, or AMCL — and knowing when to build versus reuse.
- Experience with behavior trees, dynamic costmaps, or fleet-level navigation.
- Contributions to open-source robotics or ML projects.
- Experience with safety-critical or regulated deployment environments.
- Track record of success through personal projects, professional projects, or academia.

About the Project
Project Hydrus is a scripted and conversational audio data collection project. We're looking for native-level speakers who can deliver natural, everyday-sounding speech — recordings that hold up whether you're reading a script or speaking spontaneously.
Please note: the recordings you produce may be used to create synthesized, AI-generated voices for conversational AI products. Full details on how your data is collected, used, shared, and retained are set out in a Consent Form, which you'll review and sign before any paid session recording begins.
What You'll Do If Selected:
- Two supervised sessions of approximately 4 hours each, guided in real time by a Session Director on a separate recording platform.
- Record scripted material in a natural, conversational tone — faithfully, without a polished, performed, or “announcer” delivery.
- Record unscripted, spontaneous speech on a given topic, matching the same warmth and pace as your scripted takes.
- Set up and manage your own recording space and equipment for session recording.
- Deliver all recordings entirely in the required language (with specific dialect), without code-switching into other languages or dialects.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Experience as a voice actor, actor, or theater performer, or a comparable performance background.
- Native or native-equivalent fluency in the required language (with specific dialect).
- Access to a quiet recording space, free of echo and background noise (acoustically treated for session recording, if selected).
- Owns or will acquire a dedicated, professional-grade microphone for the audition (e.g. RODE NT-USB Mini, Blue Yeti), upgrading to a qualifying USB condenser or XLR mic + audio interface for session recording if selected. Built-in laptop mics, AirPods, earbuds, and headsets are not accepted at any stage.
- Owns closed-back monitoring headphones (required for session recording if selected).
Comfortable both self-directing for the audition and taking live direction from a Session Director in guided sessions.
Preferred (nice to have, not required)
- Professional voice-over experience (dubbing/ADR, audiobook, podcasting) in a conversational rather than commercial/announcer register.
- Baseline audio hygiene: comfortable setting mic distance and catching noise, clipping, or distortion yourself.
- An existing home recording setup already treated for sound.
Commitment & Compensation
- Estimated time: Approximately 8 hours calibration, plus supervision across two recording sessions of ~4 hours each per participant
- Work Type - Freelance Remote
- Rate: $20.00 USD per hour
Your Data & Privacy
Before any session recording, you'll be asked to review and sign a Consent Form covering how your voice recordings are collected, used (including to train synthesized/AI voice models), shared with approved partners, retained, and how to exercise your data rights (access, correction, deletion, and more, depending on where you live). If you'd like to review these terms before applying, contact us and we'll share a copy in advance.

From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion is entering a new chapter of People work: more AI-native, more strategic, and more focused on building systems that help every Notino do the best work of their career. We're building toward a four-pronged People Consulting model:
- Strategic People Partners who steer orgs as the consultative layer closest to the business.
- Talent Management is the systems and programmatic engine layer — talent programs, systems and resourcing work that support our People Partners & talent density.
- People Relations is the primary arm and escalation point for employee relations.
- People Operations owns the operational layer of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, a layer we're increasingly scaling through agentic services.
We are looking for the right person to join our existing Talent Management arm. This person will help define, operationalize, and continuously improve how we grow talent at Notion. This role sits at the intersection of talent philosophy, people partner strategy and enablement.
This is not a siloed program role. It is an extension of our strategic People Partner & Talent Management org: someone who brings deep talent management craft, strong business judgment, and the operating muscle to turn philosophy into practice across the company.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
1. Maintain and operationalize Notion’s talent philosophies
- Codify and evolve our talent philosophies across performance, growth, leadership, career development, internal mobility, early career, and high-performance expectations.
- Translate principles into practical tools, rituals, and operating mechanisms that People Partners and leaders can use.
- Ensure our philosophies stay connected to business needs, company strategy, and the realities of how work is changing.
- Ensure the talent systems we build are durable and make talent expectations clear, consistent, and actionable — without over-programming or adding unnecessary process.
2. Co-build the programmatic layer & talent engine for People Partners
- Help steer and co-build the overall talent enablement engine equipping People Partners to drive higher-quality actions with leaders. If People Partners are consultants, our talent management arm builds the resources to enable talent density.
- Keep our core philosophies aligned with our deployment-ready materials: playbooks, manager guides, conversation frameworks, decision tools, calibration support, and coaching resources.
- Partner closely with strategic People Partner leaders to identify where enablement is needed most and how it should show up in the business. Develop net new, creative strategies aligned with Notion’s values and vision.
- Ensure People Partners are not just consuming talent programs, but actively shaping and deploying them with context and judgment.
3. Enable talent density
- Bring the taste, craft, and pattern recognition to understand what different talent segments need to grow.
- Design self-service strategies & actions that help leaders develop talent
- Power up our mechanisms to better identify, engage, stretch, and retain talent.
- Enable our leadership bench.
4. Lead fluid, high-leverage talent strategy projects
This role will flex into the highest-priority talent questions of the moment. Examples of historical and potential high-impact projects include:
- Early career strategy enablement: helping define the scaffolding, manager expectations, growth model, and experience needed to make Notion a definitive launchpad for early-career talent.
- Total rewards exploration: partnering with Total Rewards, Talent, and People leaders to explore what recognition could look like in a more AI-native, high-performance environment.
- Role architecture for the next generation of work: rethinking how roles, levels, career paths, and talent systems should evolve as AI changes what people can do.
- Internal mobility and talent flow: partnering with People Ops, Recruiting and People partners in creating clearer, higher-touch pathways for high-slope talent to find the right next opportunity inside Notion.
- Leadership expectations: supporting the translation of Notion’s leadership philosophy into practical enablement for managers and leaders.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Significant experience designing, scaling, and evolving talent management strategies and programs (e.g. performance, talent reviews, succession planning, career architecture, or related initiatives).
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional change without formal authority.
- Experience translating ambiguous talent philosophies into scalable tools, frameworks, and operating mechanisms.
- Strong business acumen and organizational judgment, with the ability to connect talent decisions to company outcomes.
- Excitement for reimagining talent management in an AI-native world.

ABOUT THE JOB
We're looking for an experienced Global Mobility Lead to build and run the programs that help employees join, move, and work across borders. You will own our mobility policies, immigration casework, and vendor relationships, and partner with Legal, Finance, and People Ops to make cross-border moves clear, compliant, and well supported.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
GLOBAL MOBILITY
- Own the mobility policy suite end to end: relocation, permanent transfers, short-term and long-term international assignments, remote/cross-border work arrangements, and business travel thresholds.
- Run individual mobility cases from scoping to landing: package design, cost estimates, immigration sequencing, tax and social-security implications, payroll setup, relocation logistics, and post-arrival support.
- Manage employment-based immigration casework in partnership with outside counsel: H-1B (including cap-subject and change-of-employer/AC21 timing), L-1, TN, E-3, O-1, F-1 OPT/CPT, and employer-sponsored permanent residence. Own the internal timeline, the start-date reality check, and the manager/candidate communication.
- Own daily immigration intake and case execution, including employer questionnaires, supporting documents, employment verification letters, signatures, counsel follow ups, and case closure.
- Own right-to-work compliance across jurisdictions: I-9 and E-Verify in the US, Home Office share-code checks in the UK, and equivalent checks in our EU and other markets.
- Decide and document the entity/employment model for each new market (direct entity, EOR, or non-resident payroll registration) with Finance and Legal.
- Own our mobility vendor stack (immigration counsel, relocation, tax, EOR/global payroll): scope, SLAs, cost, and performance.
- Model and track mobility cost, including sponsorship and premium-processing fees, so leadership can make go/no-go calls with real numbers, and obtain and document required approvals before committing sponsorship or spend
DATA AND SYSTEMS
- Build the tracking layer: mobility case pipeline, immigration deadlines and expirations, compensation comparisons, etc.
- Stand up mobility dashboards: case volume, cycle time, cost per move, band penetration, offer-to-band variance, and equity-gap trend.
- Write the employee-facing documentation so moves and pay decisions are predictable and explainable, not one-off negotiations.
What we’re looking for
REQUIRED
- 6+ years of experience in global mobility, with real ownership of cross-border moves and immigration casework, not just vendor hand-offs.
- Working fluency in US employment-based immigration and at least one other major jurisdiction’s work-authorization regime (UK, EU, or Canada).
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable in spreadsheets and HRIS reporting, able to build a defensible model and explain the assumptions behind it.
- Judgment about risk. You know when to escalate to Legal, when to flag classification or permanent-establishment exposure, and how to say no clearly.
- Excellent written communication: you’ll draft policies, verification letters, offer rationales, and executive-facing recommendations.
- Comfort with ambiguity, high volume, and shifting priorities.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for three Anchor Days (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays). This internship will take place from Jan 25 - Apr 16 and you will need to be able to work out of our NY or SF office during this time.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Mobile devices have reshaped personal computing—the power of a desktop now fits in our pockets. By giving everyone the building blocks to create their own tools, we'll solve more problems wherever we go. A delightful, intuitive mobile experience: that's our guiding light, and we need Android and iOS engineers to make it a reality.
During your 12-week internship, you will be paired with a mentor that will help guide you as you work closely with our team to build and ship impactful projects. These projects will drive valuable impact to our customers and engineers. Take a look at what our past intern cohort worked on with our Blog post here https://notion.notion.site/Notion-Intern-Spotlight-d0260c4e2317490db89f367d95cb4e68 and here https://www.notion.so/blog/saluting-notions-winter-interns and TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@notionhq/video/7216440106356395306?lang=en post.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Write clean, secure, tested, and documented code.
- You'll collaborate with the team to strategize, mold, and develop innovative features for our Android and iOS application.
- At our core, we prioritize crafting top-tier applications. Your role could involve enhancing the Android or iOS app's performance, reliability, and overall refinement. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to optimize aspects of the app within the web stack.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another related field. Must graduate before December 2027.
- Previous mobile internship experience.
- Working towards a proficiency of one or more programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Typescript, Node.js, Swift, Go, Python, or Rust.
- You find large challenges exciting and enjoy discovering problems as much as solving them.
- You are able to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- This internship will take place from Jan - Apr and you will need to be able to work out of our SF or NY office during this time.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
- Put users first: You think critically about the implications of what you're building, and how it shapes real people's lives. You understand that reach comes with responsibility for our impact—good and bad.
- Not ideological about technology: To you, technologies and programming languages are about tradeoffs. You may be opinionated, but you're not ideological and can learn new technologies as you go.
- Empathetic communication: You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether you're explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real time. In disagreements, you engage thoughtfully with other perspectives and compromise when needed.
- Team player: For you, work isn't a solo endeavor. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals, and you care about learning, growing, and helping others to do the same.
NICE TO HAVES:
- You're proficient with any part of our technology stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Dagger, Swift, React, TypeScript, Postgres.
- You've heard of computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and others—and understand why we're big fans of their work.
- You have interests outside of technology, such as in art, history, or social sciences.
