- Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.
All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. An overview of this role
As a Lead Investor Relations team member at GitLab, you'll help rebuild our investor relations (IR) processes and shape how we communicate GitLab's strategy and performance to the public markets. Working closely with our VP of Finance Strategy & Operations, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and executive team, you'll be a senior individual contributor with broad ownership of investor communications and relationships. You'll connect insights from across the business to explain our technical products, evolving business models, and long-term investment thesis.
What You’ll Do
Lead key workstreams of the quarterly earnings process, including messaging, scripts, questions and answers, data collection and synthesis, and conference call preparation; build repeatable processes with Finance, Legal, and executive leadership.
Gather insights from research and development, Product, Sales, and other business leaders to explain GitLab's strategy, technical products, and business model transitions in investor communications and board materials.
Own relationships with sell-side analysts and the investment community, monitor analyst models and consensus against our forecast, and flag gaps or risks to the head of IR and CFO.
Prepare the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), CFO, and other executives for investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows; lead investor calls independently when executives aren't available, explaining how GitLab's business works and answering investor questions.
Analyze peer and competitor earnings, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, and investor days; maintain benchmarking analyses and deliver quantitative and qualitative insights for executive and board discussions.
Track GitLab's shareholder base and recommend investor targeting strategies to expand and maintain key ownership positions.
Draft and review earnings decks, shareholder letters, fact sheets, and IR website content; partner with Finance, Legal, Communications, and Strategy to keep messaging consistent, accurate, and compliant with disclosure requirements, including Regulation Fair Disclosure (Regulation FD).
Plan and deliver Investor Day with the head of IR to communicate GitLab's long-term story, alongside investor outreach, non-deal roadshows, and corporate access events.
What You’ll Bring
Experience evaluating software businesses from a buy-side or sell-side investment perspective, gained through investing, equity research, investor relations, or a related field.
Financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to identify the business drivers that shape investor expectations.
Experience producing or analyzing earnings materials and investor presentations, and explaining technical software products, evolving business models, and financial performance clearly in writing and conversation. You can work directly with senior executives and offer an informed point of view.
Working knowledge of SEC reporting, Regulation FD, and public company disclosure practices.
Proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet tools, experience with IR and market data platforms, and experience using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve workflows or a willingness to develop that capability.
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in an all-remote, asynchronous-first environment, with an approach that reflects GitLab's values, especially transparency and efficiency.
Nice to have: prior experience building an internal IR function.

We are looking for a Supervisor to act as the single owner of courier and cargo onboarding flows, verification processes, and regulatory compliance for the Delivery Hub in Ecuador.
In this role, you will sit within the Supply department, which builds and protects our supply base across all geographies, and bridge the gap between regulatory rigor, product experience, and funnel conversion. Your job is simple to describe but difficult to execute: build a seamless, compliant onboarding machine that converts leads into active couriers while protecting the business against regulatory risks in Ecuador.
Key Responsibilities
Own the courier and freight registration and verification funnel end-to-end in Ecuador holding final accountability for the aha-moment conversion rate.
Develop the WatchDocs (registration platform) flow with the product team and agree on form configurations for the country.
Monitor funnel metrics, diagnose anomalies, and run drop-off research (surveys, courier calls, field tests with local teams).
Plan and execute WatchDocs data migrations from old to new platforms in Ecuador, tracking impact on registrations and conversion to avoid supply disruption.
Own KYC, identity verification, and document requirements for the Courier and Freight verticals in Ecuador.
Drive compliance platform features with engineering teams and maintain central compliance dashboards.
Represent Delivery Hub in cross-vertical compliance discussions, balancing legal and regulatory risk against funnel performance with data-backed arguments.
Prepare Ecuador for upcoming regulatory changes (e.g., labor and platform reforms) and support new launches in highly regulated environments.
Run supply funnel optimization projects, quantifying business impact (conversion, GMV, Net Revenue) together with analytics.
Own onboarding and compliance streams in quarterly and annual planning, maintaining single-source dashboards and concise decision-oriented materials for senior leadership.
Support the launch of fleet project in Ecuador.
Qualifications
Experience:
4+ years in project management or operations within ride-hailing, delivery, or marketplace platforms in Ecuador. Hands-on experience with registration/onboarding funnels, identity verification (KYC), or regulatory projects in these markets is a strong advantage.
Technical & Data Skills:
Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery) for independent data extraction/validation, experience building BI dashboards (Tableau or similar), and project management tool mastery (Jira, Confluence).
Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of KYC/identity verification flows and core marketplace metrics (GMV, active supply, done rate, activation, funnel conversion), including local document and verification requirements in Ecuador.
Regulatory-to-Product Translation:
Strong ability to translate complex legal and regulatory mandates in Ecuador. (e.g., labor and platform regulations) into clear product requirements while quantifying their business impact.
Stakeholder & Cross-Cultural Management:
Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is an advantage. Strong communication skills for working with local teams across Ecuador. Confident pushing back on stakeholders with data when proposed requirements threaten conversion.
Mindset:
Extreme end-to-end ownership, pragmatic problem-solving in fast-changing regulatory environments, high execution discipline, and a long-term strategic vision.
