ROLE OVERVIEW
Welocalize is looking for a native-level Urdu (Romanized) speaker to join a confidential, large-scale AI and consumer technology programme for a major global technology and communications client.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As Claude's capabilities grow, so does our responsibility to ensure those capabilities reach the right people. The Access Programs team builds the systems that verify who our customers are, grant access to advanced model capabilities for approved use cases, and ensure that access is not misused. As a software engineer on this team, you will build the identity, vetting, and access management infrastructure that underpins our trusted access programs, along with the monitoring and enforcement tooling that keeps them safe. This work sits at the center of how Anthropic deploys frontier capabilities responsibly, balancing broad access with rigorous safeguards.
Responsibilities:
Build identity verification and vetting systems (KYC/KYB) that establish who our individual and business customers are
Design and implement access control systems that grant, scope, and revoke access to advanced capabilities based on approved use cases
Build infrastructure to configure safety systems and detection thresholds on a per-customer basis for trusted access programs
Develop monitoring to detect misuse of expanded access, and tooling that enables enforcement teams to act on it
Partner closely with policy, enforcement, threat intelligence, product, research, and go-to-market teams so that access decisions are well-informed and consistently applied
Build systems that identify account compromise and takeover, apply mitigations in real time, and carry affected accounts through to full remediation
Design and build the dashboards, alerting, and internal admin tooling that give the team and its partners clear visibility into the health and outcomes of our access programs
Integrate with third-party identity verification and data enrichment vendors
You may be a good fit if you have:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable experience

Care about the societal impacts of AI and want your work to make powerful systems safer
Strong candidates may also:
8+ years of industry software engineering experience
Experience building shared platforms or foundational services that many teams and products depend on, rather than one-off solutions for a single use case
A track record of working across functions (for example engineering, product, policy, operations, and go-to-market) to gather requirements, reconcile competing needs, and drive adoption of what you build
Experience with identity, authentication, or authorization systems at scale
Experience with KYC/KYB workflows or identity verification vendors
Experience in trust and safety, integrity, fraud, or abuse detection
Experience detecting and responding to account takeover or credential compromise
Experience partnering with operational teams to build custom internal tooling

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Senior Frontend Engineer
An overview of this role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll solve high-scope frontend problems and influence your team's technical and product direction. You'll ship moderately sized features with minimal guidance, improve quality and performance, mentor other engineers, and help establish standards for a high-scale web environment. You'll partner across product, design, backend, and frontend to make sound trade-offs, communicate clearly, and improve how the team delivers software.
This is an opportunity to shape product experiences and frontend architecture for a global platform while helping define how modern frontend teams use agentic artificial intelligence. You'll apply artificial intelligence-assisted engineering workflows thoughtfully and help create trustworthy user experiences that incorporate artificial intelligence responsibly in a remote-first, asynchronous organization.
What you’ll do
Design and ship moderately sized frontend features and improvements with minimal guidance, making pragmatic architectural choices.
Turn ambiguous customer and product needs into clear technical plans and intuitive, accessible experiences.
Advocate for product quality, security, accessibility, performance, maintainability, and operational readiness throughout the development lifecycle.
Establish and improve practices for frontend architecture, styling, component design, testing, observability, maintainable code, and thoughtful use of artificial intelligence and agentic tools in production engineering work.
Mentor Associate and Intermediate Engineers, share knowledge, remove technical blockers, and improve team delivery practices.
Diagnose and prevent frontend performance and reliability issues at scale using observability and production signals, and participate in incident response or on-call responsibilities under your team's ownership model.
Design or review independently buildable frontend surfaces and explicit contracts for data, events, authorization, feature flags, error handling, testing, and performance expectations.
Collaborate with product, design, backend, quality, security, and other teams to deliver cohesive customer outcomes.
What you’ll bring
Experience applying frontend architecture, browser behavior, testing, accessibility, performance, and maintainability practices in a complex product or platform environment.
Experience designing or evolving modular frontend boundaries, independently buildable surfaces, component systems, or migration-safe architectures.
Experience making pragmatic trade-offs with product and design partners and turning complex requirements into clear user experiences.
The ability to lead through technical judgment, collaboration, and clear written communication rather than formal authority.
Experience mentoring engineers and improving team practices through code review, design review, documentation, or hands-on collaboration.
The ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous organization by managing priorities, creating clarity, and communicating decisions in writing.
Practical experience integrating artificial intelligence into a feature, workflow, or engineering process, or evaluating its reliability, security, privacy, and appropriate human oversight.
Helpful, but not required: experience with Vue, React, Angular, TypeScript, or JavaScript; PostgreSQL, Redis, or object storage; representational state transfer or GraphQL; Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine, Docker, or Google Cloud Platform; Prometheus or Sentry; and Git, GitLab Runner, or GitLab continuous integration and continuous delivery.
About the team
We own core repository capabilities, from Git command-line operations to web-based code exploration. Our roadmap includes feature and platform development, improvements to existing capabilities, maintainability, accessibility, performance, and workflows for teams using AI-assisted development tools.
How GitLab Supports Full-Time Employees
Benefits to support your health, finances, and well-being
Flexible Paid Time Off

You’ll work closely with SEM specialists, Data Science, Marketing Technology and Product teams to turn complex performance challenges into scalable solutions.
Your impact will go beyond campaign optimisation. You’ll help define how Xero applies AI and automation to Paid Search, build systems that improve decision quality and speed, and act as a senior technical voice across the organisation, translating complex ideas into clear opportunities for senior stakeholders.
The team / how they connect
You will join Xero’s global SEM team, a specialist group spanning technical SEM, bidding and optimisation, creative and AI. The team manages Paid Search across Xero’s global markets and is focused on using data, experimentation and technology to continually improve performance and unlock new growth opportunities.
You’ll work closely with the Head of SEM and our existing SEM team, while partnering across Data Science, Marketing Technology, Product, CRO and the wider Performance Marketing organisation. - Partnering with Data Science, Marketing Technology and Product to connect data, AI and emerging technology into our SEM ecosystem
- Exploring emerging search and AI capabilities, testing where new technologies can create genuine commercial advantage
Where and how you can work
Xero offers a hybrid working model that balances flexibility with the value of working together in person. You’ll spend time in our office collaborating with the team, while also having the flexibility to work from home when it makes sense.
As part of a global SEM and Performance Marketing team, you’ll also collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners across different markets and time zones.
Here are some of the things we are looking for
- Deep, hands-on SEM expertise, with experience managing large-scale, multi-market Paid Search programs and a strong understanding of Google Ads, SA360 and modern bidding and automation
- Proven technical builder capability, with experience designing and deploying automation, workflows or other technical solutions that solve real performance marketing problems

- A collaborative, low-ego approach, with a willingness to share knowledge, mentor others and elevate the technical capability of the wider team
If you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you. By making small business more efficient every day, connecting them with big business technology and empowering a community behind them, their potential is limitless. When that happens, we’re not only helping small business, we’ll be building a stronger economy that can change the world.
THE ROLE & TEAM
Product Data Science & Engineering is a portfolio team within Product & Technology. Partnering across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Commercial leadership, we set Xero’s data science strategy across broad product areas and operate in an AI-native way—using AI to transform how we work, not just what we ship.
The team co-own Xero's metrics stack, experimentation strategy, and enterprise data architecture and builds AI-powered customer experiences including the Jax chatbot and agentic workflows—in partnership with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google. They also lead AI measurement and productionisation. We work in an AI-native way. That means AI changes how data science itself gets done here, not just what we ship.
This is a new strategic leadership role created to scale Xero's data science and AI capabilities. You will take full ownership of the data science, analytics, ML, and AI strategy and execution across Accounting & Bookkeeping, Small Business, and AI products.
This role combines strategic product vision (including Jax, agentic workflows, and AI-powered features) with platform thinking across the metrics stack, experimentation, data quality, and governance, driving enterprise-level impact across every product team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You will translate company-level objectives into strategic sub-objectives across analytics, ML, AI products, and experimentation, elevating both the quality of decisions and the leverage Xero gains from its data and AI investments.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data scientists, analytics engineers, ML engineers, and managers, scaling the function from ~12 to ~30.
- Design team structures and operating models that preserve high throughput across multiple locations and time zones.
- Operate as an AI-native leader, driving how AI changes how data science operates and ships value across Xero.
- Act as the primary data partner to Product & Technology, advising C-suite and SLT on data utilization, retention strategy, new data domains, and AI investment decisions.
- Represent data science in executive forums and partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Commercial, Legal, Privacy and Risk on strategy, prioritisation and governance.
- Own AI governance, model risk, data quality, privacy posture, and experimentation integrity across the portfolio, ensuring company-wide compliance and integrity.
- Drive behavioral, technical, and cultural standards across the vertical. Own and improve global hiring practices, build talent maps, and coach senior leaders and individual contributors to raise the bar across Xero.
- Proactively identify delivery and strategic risks, designing robust organizational processes that yield consistent, high-quality outcomes for Xero.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING WITH YOU
We welcome candidates from analyst, scientist, engineer, or AI/ML-focused backgrounds—a linear data science career is not required. What matters most is that you have operated, shipped, and led at scale within a fast-paced technology environment. As a self-starter and executive partner, you will shape and lead strategic agendas alongside C-suite and senior leadership, driving throughput across multi-location, global teams. You excel at bringing structure to complex cross-functional challenges, managing ambiguity, and maintaining a strong "Xero-first" mindset focused on delivering strategic value and accountable execution.
- Ability to act as a proactive self-starter and executive partner, shaping strategic agendas with C-suite and SLT, presenting to board-level leadership, and influencing key investment decisions.
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity, bring structure to complex cross-functional challenges, sustain throughput across multi-timezone teams, and hold stakeholders accountable to a "Xero-first" standard.
- Skilled in leading managers, coaching leaders into senior roles, developing high-performing teams, and constructively escalating strategic risks when necessary.
- Experienced in navigating teams through significant scale-ups, operating model transformations, and continuous evolution in fast-paced environments.
- Practical experience leveraging frontier-model platforms (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) to build agentic workflows, chatbots, and AI-powered products, as well as transforming team operating models using AI workflows.
- Substantial experience leading data science, ML, or analytics functions, with a proven track record of managing other people leaders across multi-team structures.
- Extensive experience building and running enterprise-scale data science functions, AI/ML productionisation, AI governance, model risk frameworks, and experimentation integrity.
- Deep technical fluency across applied ML, analytics engineering, instrumentation, eventing, and schema governance, with a strong engineering mindset focused on building scalable platforms and reusable architectures.
- Prior exposure to SaaS or small business segments, with a track record of driving scale, data quality, and privacy compliance.
- Technical bachelor's or master's degree (PhDs welcome for applied, high-impact organizational challenges), supported by public thought leadership or open-source contributions in data or AI.
WHERE AND HOW YOU CAN WORK
This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne with a flexible hybrid working setup, spending 1 to 2 days per week in the local office to connect and collaborate.
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Open to hiring remote — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.
Runway is hiring a Detection & Response Engineer to own how we find and stop attacks against our infrastructure, our research environment and our products.
Securing a company that trains and serves frontier video models is a different problem from securing a typical SaaS product. The environment includes research compute, large training datasets, a fast-moving build pipeline and engineers who work inside AI-assisted tooling every day. Each of those changes what an attack looks like and what you need to see to catch it.
You'll join the Security team and build our detection and response program the way an engineer would: detections as code, response as automation, evidence as something you can query. This is a role with real ownership: you'll own the detection program end to end, from what we log to how quickly we close an incident. You'll report to the head of security, partner with engineers across platform and research, and shape how this function grows from here.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own detection and response end to end: what we log, what we alert on, how we triage and how we recover
- Write and tune detections as code across multiple cloud environments, Kubernetes, identity systems, endpoints and SaaS, and measure them on coverage and precision rather than alert volume
- Lead incident response from the first alert through containment and forensics, then write the post-incident review people actually read
- Build automation that takes toil out of triage, including enrichment, correlation, containment actions and evidence collection, and use LLM-based tooling where it holds up under audit
- Monitor AI agents and developer tooling operating inside our environment, and turn that into concrete telemetry and controls
- Partner with platform and research engineers so new systems ship with logging and response playbooks in place on day one
- Run threat hunts and tabletop exercises against the parts of the environment that worry you most, and fix what you find
- Turn incident and detection metrics into evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and enterprise customer security reviews, working with our GRC team
- Participate in an on-call rotation for security incidents
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Hands-on incident response experience: you've triaged live alerts, led investigations and written up what happened afterward
- Experience building and tuning detections in a modern SIEM, ideally managed as code
- Working knowledge of how attackers move through cloud and Kubernetes environments (IAM abuse, container escape, credential theft, supply chain compromise) and what that leaves behind in logs
- Comfort writing Python, Typescript, Rust or another language to automate response work and connect security tools
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform and with Kubernetes at the level of audit logs, RBAC and workload identity
- Clear writing. Incident timelines, detection documentation and updates to leadership are all part of the job
- Judgment about what to alert on, what to automate and when to wake someone up
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
- Experience monitoring GPU or HPC-style infrastructure, or research environments with large datasets
- Experience building detections or guardrails for AI agents, LLM tooling or MCP servers
- Cloud forensics experience: disk and memory acquisition, cloud audit trail reconstruction, chain of custody
- Published open source detection content
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.
Runway is hiring an Infrastructure Security Engineer to secure the platform our models are trained and served on. The role covers Kubernetes platform security, cloud identity and access, software supply chain, tenant isolation in the serving layer and the research infrastructure behind our models.
Securing a company that trains and serves frontier video models is a different problem from securing a typical SaaS product. The environment includes research compute, large training datasets, a fast-moving build pipeline, and engineers who work inside AI-assisted tooling every day. Each of those changes what an attack looks like and what the platform has to enforce to stop it.
This is a hands-on engineering role on the Security team. You'll write policy, tooling and infrastructure code, work in the platform team's repositories, and ship controls that hold up in production.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and ship security controls in our Kubernetes ecosystem: admission policy, RBAC, workload identity, network policy and runtime hardening across every cluster we run
- Harden the software supply chain from dependency intake through build and deploy, including package firewalling, artifact signing and provenance, and admission controls that block what doesn't pass
- Own cloud IAM and identity architecture: least-privilege roles, short-lived credentials and workload federation
- Secure research infrastructure and training pipelines, including access to model weights and datasets, without slowing down the people using them
- Threat model new platform components before they ship and turn the findings into concrete requirements the owning team can act on
- Build guardrails for AI agents and developer tooling operating inside our infrastructure
- Write infrastructure as code and policy as code, and treat security configuration with the same review and rollout discipline as any other change
- Give the incident response team what they need when infrastructure is involved: fast answers about how a system works and what to shut off
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes in production: you've written admission policies, debugged RBAC and workload identity problems and understand how a cluster gets compromised
- Working knowledge of cloud IAM and networking on at least one major cloud platform, including how identity federation and short-lived credentials actually work
- Experience with infrastructure as code and GitOps-style deployment, and the habit of shipping security changes through the same pipeline as everything else
- Comfort writing Python, Typescript, Rust or another language to build tooling, not just scripts
- An understanding of software supply chain attacks and the controls that stop them: signing, provenance, SBOMs, admission enforcement
- Clear writing. Design docs, threat models and explanations to engineers who don't work in security are all part of the job
- Judgment about which controls to enforce, which to recommend and how to roll out a breaking change without breaking the company
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
- Experience securing GPU or HPC-style compute, training pipelines or research environments
- Experience with policy engines and admission controllers (Kyverno, OPA Gatekeeper, Falco or similar)
- Multi-tenant isolation design in a cloud environment: ABAC, scoped credentials, per-tenant boundaries
- Experience producing security architecture evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001 or other audits and customer assessments
- Open source contributions or published work in cloud or Kubernetes security
