The corporate title for this seat is Analyst, with no direct reports. The seat offers unusual breadth for the level: direct exposure to fund formation, private placements, and credit and distressed situations across gaming and interactive entertainment, daily interaction with the group's senior leadership, and a defined development path toward coverage or capital formation responsibility.
The Analyst, Capital Markets Intelligence and CRM will be based in Los Angeles, CA, Xsolla's headquarters, in office, and will report to the Vice President, Investor Relations and Capital Formation. The role suits a candidate who wants the analytical rigor of an investment banking seat combined with real ownership of a system they run themselves.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor global sources. Monitor the defined multilingual source set with translation tooling and flag regionally significant items to the Americas, MENA and APAC coverage heads.
Track special situations. Track the distressed and special situations landscape across gaming and interactive entertainment, and prepare screening one pagers on qualifying situations for review at the weekly pipeline call.
Relationship Data Operations
Build institutional records. Build institutional records in the firm's relationship platform, sourcing from public materials, licensed data providers and event lists, with enrichment, deduplication and tiering support to the group's data standards.
Operate the staging workflow. Operate the prospect staging and promotion workflow, ensuring nothing enters the production database without review, and support the quarterly tiering refresh.
Maintain the audit trail. Maintain the audit trail on data provenance and consent context consistent with the firm's data handling standard.
Coverage Support
Prepare meeting briefs. Prepare meeting briefs for every Tier 1 interaction at least 24 hours in advance, including institution profile, relationship history, live items and suggested talking points; log outcomes and next actions in the platform after each meeting.
Support materials preparation. Support materials preparation for investor meetings, roadshows and transaction processes under the direction of the VP and coverage heads.
Events and Convening
Maintain the events calendar. Maintain the global events calendar across credit, private capital, SPAC, venture, family office and sovereign conferences, with rolling 30, 60 and 90 day action lists and attendance recommendations.
Run event follow up. Run event follow up operations, capturing who the team met, promoting qualified contacts into the platform and tracking post event actions to completion.
Candidate Profile
Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, equity or credit research, management consulting, or a data intensive operations seat at a financial institution; exceptional final year candidates and recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered.
Working knowledge of the gaming and interactive entertainment ecosystems is a plus, as is exposure to data providers such as Preqin, PitchBook or Bloomberg.

Strong working proficiency in Excel and demonstrated comfort operating CRM or comparable structured data systems, with accountability for data quality.
Meticulous attention to detail, high throughput, and the judgment to distinguish signal from noise under time pressure.
Discretion with confidential information and a high degree of ethics and integrity.
Professional working proficiency in one or more of Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese or Spanish is preferred.

This is a builder's role. About the Company
CertiK leads blockchain security by securing smart contracts and blockchains with cutting-edge Formal Verification technology. Founded by Computer Science professors of Yale University and Columbia University, CertiK has audited and secured over $500B in assets, including many of the world’s top blockchain projects.
About This Role
Singapore is where the institutional future of digital assets is being built.
As Business Development Manager for Singapore, you drive the commercial relationship with the institutions that need it — exchanges and DPT licensees, banks and financial institutions moving into tokenisation, protocols and Web3 native teams, and the funds and infrastructure providers around them. You will run the full cycle: build the pipeline, get in front of decision-makers, understand their security and compliance problem, and close.
You will work alongside a capital markets and policy team and a technical organisation whose auditors, forensics, and on-chain surveillance work sets the benchmark for the industry.
About You
You are a builder of relationships and a closer of deals, and you are comfortable doing both in a market where the buyer is sophisticated and the sale is technical. You can hold a conversation with a CTO about smart contract risk and, an hour later, hold one with a Chief Compliance Officer about transaction monitoring and licensing obligations — and be taken seriously in both. You are self-directed about pipeline: you find the opportunity rather than waiting for it to be routed to you.
Critically, you understand that in this market a regulatory shift is a commercial event, and you know how to move first when one lands.
Responsibilities
Pipeline generation
and prospecting.
Build and own the Singapore pipeline through outbound, inbound qualification, referrals, ecosystem relationships, and event presence — identifying and prioritising the accounts that matter across exchanges, financial institutions, VASPs, protocols, and infrastructure providers.
Full-cycle deal execution.
Run opportunities end to end: discovery, scoping with technical teams, proposal and commercial structuring, negotiation, and close.
Solution positioning.
Develop the depth to position CertiK’s portfolio credibly — audits and formal verification, penetration testing, on-chain surveillance and AML/compliance tooling, and incident response — and to map them to a specific client’s risk, regulatory, and commercial pressures.
Account management
and expansion.
Own relationships post-sale, drive renewals and expansion, and act as the client’s primary commercial point of contact.
Partnerships
and ecosystem.
Develop channel and referral relationships with law firms, consultancies, custodians, infrastructure providers, and industry associations that extend CertiK’s reach into the market.
Market intelligence
and feedback.
Track the competitive and pricing landscape, capture what you learn in the field, and feed it back into pricing, product, and go-to-market decisions.
Cross-functional coordination.
Work with policy, product, engineering, and marketing to build the proposals, materials, and campaigns that win business — and with the regional leadership team on territory strategy and forecasting.

An overview of this role
As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Duo Chat team, focused on Chat Engine, you'll build the core AI capabilities behind GitLab Duo Chat, the natural-language and agentic interface to the GitLab DevSecOps platform. Much of your work will involve building flow components and agentic flows in the Flow Registry, the Python framework built on LangGraph within our Duo Workflow Service that powers agentic chat, and integrating them with the GitLab Rails monolith.
You'll own complex backend features from start to finish across both services. You'll integrate large language models and orchestrate multi-agent flows so customers can work faster and more securely across the software development lifecycle. This work sits where GitLab's core platform meets its AI strategy, and reliability, performance, and answer quality directly shape the customer experience.
What you’ll do
Design and build flow components and agentic flows in the Flow Registry using Python and LangGraph within the Duo Workflow Service. These reusable building blocks power agentic Duo Chat and, increasingly, other AI features across GitLab.
Develop, ship, and maintain backend features for GitLab Duo Chat across the Python Duo Workflow Service and the GitLab Rails monolith in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
Integrate new generative AI models, providers, tools, and multi-agent orchestration patterns into Duo Chat to expand its capabilities and improve answer quality.
Design, implement, and review GraphQL and Representational State Transfer (REST) application programming interfaces (APIs) and related monolith logic, including chat entry points, permissions, and foundational-flow registration. Keep contracts with frontend clients and host systems reliable and clear.
Improve debugging, observability, and test coverage using pytest, RSpec, and related frameworks; track and improve latency, error rates, and test coverage so AI-powered chat workflows stay reliable at scale.
Collaborate with Product, User Experience (UX), frontend, and AI specialists to refine requirements and deliver high-quality improvements through iteration.
Document standards, patterns, and learnings with other engineers, raising the bar for safe AI integration and evidence-driven engineering.
Participate in Tier 2 on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and strengthen resiliency.
What you’ll bring
Significant experience building and maintaining production Python backends, including APIs, data models, and asynchronous or long-running workloads.
Practical experience designing and shipping AI-powered, agentic backend features, including large language model integration, tool or function calling, and multi-agent orchestration. You use sound judgment about large language model limitations and safe use in production.
Working proficiency in Ruby on Rails, or a strong willingness to learn it. Duo Chat integrates deeply with the GitLab monolith for chat entry points, GraphQL, permissions, and flow registration, and most of GitLab's codebase is written in Ruby.
Proficiency designing or extending REST or GraphQL APIs with attention to scalability, maintainability, and backward compatibility.
Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) skills and familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including efficient queries and data modeling.
Ability to find, diagnose, and prevent performance and reliability problems at scale.
Experience solving technical problems of high scope and complexity and advocating for quality, security, and performance improvements across your team.
Openness to learning and collaborating in an async-first, distributed team, applying transferable skills from related technologies or domains. Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain is a strong plus.
About the team
We're part of GitLab's AI Engineering organization and own the AI-powered chat experience embedded across the GitLab platform. Chat Engine is the backend-focused team within the Duo Chat group.
We're backend, frontend, and AI specialists working asynchronously across time zones, using issues, merge requests, and documentation as our main collaboration tools. Our focus is to expand generative and agentic AI capabilities, improve the performance and reliability of chat workflows, and strengthen the debugging and testing foundations that let us run AI features safely at scale.

Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic SDLC
An overview of this role
GitLab’s Forward Deployed Engineering team is a field-situated product engineering function focused on strategic customer outcomes, artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, and direct contributions to GitLab’s product. This isn't a traditional field engineering, solutions architecture, or professional services role. As a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work closely with customers while maintaining the technical standards and contribution discipline of a Staff-level product engineer.
You'll work where strategic customer urgency, complex technical ambiguity, and GitLab product execution intersect. You'll partner directly with strategic customers and teams across Product, Engineering, Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Solutions Architecture (SA), Customer Success Architecture (CSA), Customer Success Management (CSM), and Professional Services. You'll diagnose and resolve high-impact adoption blockers, contribute production-quality fixes and features, and turn what you learn into repeatable patterns for GitLab and its customers.
Why this role exists
Strategic customers sometimes encounter challenges that are too broad, deep, urgent, or cross-functional for any single team to own from start to finish. These challenges may involve product gaps, performance degradation, scale bottlenecks, AI governance, adoption blockers, architectural constraints, Git usage patterns, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) complexity, application programming interface (API) automation, security requirements, or operational instability.
Forward Deployed Engineering provides technical stewardship in these moments. The team doesn't simply observe, report, or escalate. You'll engage directly, diagnose the underlying technical problem, collaborate with the right teams, contribute code or technical solutions where appropriate, and transition the outcome into normal ownership once the customer is stable and the learning can be reused.
What you’ll do
Product contribution
Contribute production-quality code to GitLab’s product and adjacent systems.
Develop bug fixes, features, integrations, tooling, and performance improvements when strategic customer outcomes require direct engineering work.
Work within GitLab’s product and engineering processes, including issue discovery, merge request creation, testing, review, documentation, and maintainability.
Partner with Product and Engineering so customer-driven solutions support long-term product direction rather than becoming one-off customizations.
Turn blockers discovered in the field into durable product improvements, reference architectures, documentation, and repeatable implementation patterns.
Strategic technical stewardship
Engage with strategically important customers when adoption, retention, executive confidence, or public trust is materially at risk.
Diagnose complex problems across GitLab product behavior, customer architecture, Git internals, CI/CD workflows, API usage, observability, infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.
Coordinate across Product, Engineering, SRE, Support, SA, CSA, CSM, Professional Services, and customer technical teams to drive resolution from discovery through handoff.
Provide recommendations grounded in data, traces, and systems analysis to improve GitLab usage, workflows, automation, and architecture.
Create durable outcomes without establishing permanent dependency on Forward Deployed Engineering.
AI adoption and agentic software development lifecycle
Drive governed, measurable, and production-oriented adoption of GitLab Duo Agent Platform with strategic customers.
Identify and resolve AI adoption blockers involving governance, usage controls, auditability, security, compliance, operating models, workflow design, and integrations.
Develop customer-safe adoption patterns for the agentic software development lifecycle (SDLC), AI-assisted development, intent-based review, AI governance, and human-in-the-loop software delivery.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Field, and Customer Success teams to turn AI adoption learning into reusable guidance and product improvements.
Thought leadership
Create technical narratives grounded in customer experience and product reality that can help shape the industry’s approach.
Contribute to Well-Architected Frameworks, whitepapers, webinars, reference architectures, technical strategy memos, and adoption frameworks.
Guide ideas through discovery, formulation, validation, amplification, and adoption across GitLab.
Partner with SA, CSA, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Product Marketing Management, CSM, Support, and executive stakeholders to make technical thought leadership a shared company capability.
What you’ll bring
Staff-level experience building, operating, or improving complex production software systems.
Experience contributing to large, mature product codebases with high standards for testing, maintainability, performance, and security.
Strong Ruby on Rails or Go experience and the ability to contribute directly to GitLab’s product and adjacent systems.
Experience with AI-assisted software development, agentic workflows, AI governance, model evaluation, context management, prompt and workflow design, or AI adoption in enterprise environments.
Experience diagnosing complex system behavior across application code, data stores, infrastructure, observability, networking, APIs, and customer usage patterns.
Deep knowledge of modern DevSecOps workflows, including Git, merge requests, CI/CD, security controls, compliance needs, and enterprise software delivery.
Experience working with strategic customers or senior technical stakeholders in ambiguous, high-impact situations.
The ability to coordinate across product, engineering, field, and customer teams without formal authority.
Strong written communication and sound judgment, including the ability to create technical narratives and distinguish reusable product work from customer-specific customization.
Strongly preferred qualifications
Direct experience with GitLab as a platform, including GitLab.com, GitLab Dedicated, or GitLab Self-Managed.
Production experience with Ruby on Rails, Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Vue, TypeScript, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, or observability tools.
Deep familiarity with Git internals, repository performance, large-scale Git usage patterns, or GitLab Runner behavior.
Experience creating technical thought-leadership materials, such as whitepapers, technical talks, architecture frameworks, requests for comments, public technical writing, or internal strategy documents.
A background in performance engineering, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or distributed systems.
Experience working in open source or highly asynchronous engineering environments.

What this role is not
This role isn't:
A generic field engineering role.
A proof-of-concept factory.
A replacement for Solutions Architecture, Customer Success Architecture, Customer Success Management, Professional Services, Support, SRE, Product, or Engineering.
A customer-specific customization function.
Unbilled Professional Services.
A requirements-gathering role that only escalates to Product.
An AI evangelism role disconnected from product execution.
Success measures
Success in this role may include:
Stabilizing strategic customer adoption or retention risks.
Fixing product bugs or contributing features.
Removing AI adoption blockers for strategic accounts.
Creating reusable implementation patterns and transitioning them to long-term owners.
Producing or enabling Well-Architected Frameworks, whitepapers, webinars, or technical narratives.
Resolving cross-functional customer challenges without creating permanent dependency on Forward Deployed Engineering.
Equipping Product, Engineering, Support, CSA, CSM, Professional Services, and SA teams with better guidance based on learning from the field.
Increasing adoption and effective use of GitLab capabilities, especially GitLab Duo and GitLab Duo Agent Platform, in targeted accounts.
About the team
The Forward Deployed Engineering team connects strategic customer needs with GitLab product execution. The team works directly with customers and across GitLab to resolve complex adoption challenges, contribute durable product improvements, and create reusable technical guidance. Its goal is to stabilize urgent situations, improve the product, and transition ongoing ownership to the appropriate team rather than create a permanent dependency.
Ideal candidate profile
You're a Staff-level product or platform engineer who can operate in the field without becoming field-only. You're comfortable reading traces, writing production code, debugging architecture, discussing AI governance, leading a customer technical session, opening a merge request, outlining a whitepaper, and coordinating across teams to achieve a strategic customer outcome.
You're not simply a strong communicator with technical awareness. You're a credible engineer with the judgment, presence, and narrative ability to turn customer reality into product contributions, adoption guidance, and company-level thought leadership.
We welcome candidates with different backgrounds and levels of experience. Many successful candidates don't meet every qualification. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply and let our recruiting team assess your application.

Why Sony Interactive Entertainment?
Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
Senior Data Scientist, Product Usage & Value Lens (SBG / PBG Finance Partnership)
At PlayStation, Data Science plays a critical role in shaping how we invest in, retain, and delight our global player base. Our Player Value Science team turns understanding of value mechanics into incrementality: we explain what drives value, where it is created or missed, and what to change, so growth can be created and protected.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will drive the development of advanced modelling and analytical approaches that influence high-stakes commercial and portfolio decisions at scale. Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Strategy and Platform, you will work on complex and often ambiguous problems with a high degree of autonomy to shape how data informs strategy and investment decisions through a deeper understanding of player behaviour, product usage, and long-term value.
This role combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial judgement. You will own the problem definition and approach, and success will be measured not only by the quality of your work, but by the adoption and impact on business outcomes.
What You'll Do
Design and deliver advanced modelling approaches that quantify player value, incremental impact, and long-term platform value, applying techniques such as causal inference, forecasting, optimization and machine learning where appropriate.
Measure the incremental effect of launches, investments, and external market events, isolating true impact from what would have happened anyway, and translating that into an actionable understanding of where value is created.
Build optimization and scenario models that inform long-range planning and investment decisions under real-world constraints.
Own ambiguous problem spaces, and break down complex business challenges into tractable, measurable solutions.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams across Finance, Strategy and Platform to ensure value-driving products are robust, trusted and adopted, helping stakeholders understand how to recognise and attribute impact.
Evaluate and select modelling approaches based on problem context, balancing rigour, performance, scalability, interpretability, and business impact.
Mentor other data scientists and contribute to best practices across the team.
Communicate complex modelling approaches, assumptions and outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including Finance leadership.
What We're Looking For
You combine technical depth with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to influence strategy and inspire others. You thrive on ambiguous, high-value problems, using data to deepen PlayStation's understanding of its players and its portfolio, and inform decisions and strategies that drive sustainable growth.
Proven industry experience delivering impactful, decision-grade analytical and modelling solutions in areas such as customer value, incrementality, forecasting, or investment decisioning.
Experience with optimization or operations research approaches (for example resource allocation, scheduling, or constrained planning problems), or a strong quantitative foundation to pick these up quickly.
Strong grounding in causal inference and impact measurement, with the judgement to critically assess assumptions, recognise when correlation is not enough and select approaches that are proportionate to the problem being solved.
Experience owning projects end-to-end, from problem definition and selecting methods through to delivery and business adoption.
Ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate them into scalable, trustworthy solutions.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of influencing commercial or finance partners and communicating results persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, and comfort across the modern analytical and ML tooling ecosystem; experience with PySpark or equivalent distributed data processing tools.
A strong quantitative background, typically a Master's or PhD in operations research, machine learning, statistics, economics, or a related field.
Nice to Have
Background in gaming, e-commerce, or subscription-based businesses.
Experience partnering with Finance or commercial functions on portfolio, investment, or impact-attribution problems.
Industry experience with experimentation frameworks and causal inference.
Expertise in modern machine learning approaches, including applying techniques such as transformers, embeddings, or sequence-based models to real-world behavioural data.
Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments
At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
In addition, this role
is eligible
for SIE’s top-tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program and coveted employee discounts for Sony products.

- Experience across digital asset infrastructure: custody, trading, staking, treasury, and blockchain settlement
- Ability to communicate credibly with executives, institutional customers, auditors, and regulators
Bonus
- Experience scaling an org toward a chartered or licensed financial entity

This is a product role with a clear growth mandate. - Define and track measures of activation, adoption, monetization, expansion, and retention. Use experiments to evaluate changes and decide what to build next.
- Partner with engineering and design to ship clear, useful experiences for technical users.
- Work with Marketing and Sales on product discovery, product-qualified leads, and the path from self-serve adoption to enterprise use.
- Communicate product strategy, priorities, and results clearly across the company.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of meaningful business outcomes.
- Experience building developer tools, API products, infrastructure products, or technical B2B SaaS. You understand developers and how they use dashboards to work with a technical product.
- A track record of shipping features that improve onboarding, activation, adoption, monetization, expansion, or retention.
- Experience with product-led growth and a clear understanding of how product improvements lead to customer and business outcomes.
- Strong product instincts backed by customer research and data, including experience designing and evaluating experiments.
- Experience with API or usage-based pricing models and how they shape the customer experience.
- The ability to make decisions with incomplete information and move quickly with engineering and design.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Finance.
