Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in data architecture and platform engineering to drive data initiatives for a top-tier life sciences client. This role sits at the critical intersection of scientific research informatics, clinical data systems, and manufacturing process engineering.
In this position, you will own the architectural vision and hands-on execution of scalable data platforms and pipelines. You will bridge complex data domains—from small and large molecule research, genomics, and clinical trial datasets to active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing processes, batch data, and industrial control systems. Operating in a 3-day onsite hybrid capacity in Indianapolis, you will collaborate directly with process engineers, clinical scientists, and platform teams to build high-performance data infrastructure that accelerates drug discovery and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific & Clinical Data Platform Architecture
Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines and architecture tailored for scientific, clinical trial, and research informatics data (small/large molecule, genomics, proteomics, LIMS).
Structure complex, multi-modal clinical and scientific datasets to enable advanced analytics, enterprise reporting, and downstream machine learning models.
Process Engineering & Manufacturing Integration
Ingest, harmonize, and model operational technology (OT) and manufacturing process datasets, including API manufacturing pipelines, batch processing data, MES, SCADA, and OSIsoft PI systems.
Unify disparate laboratory and facility data pipelines into centralized, highly available enterprise data platforms.
Enterprise Data Engineering & Compliance
Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure), PySpark, and SQL.
Ensure all data pipelines and platform integrations strictly adhere to enterprise governance, data residency, and GxP regulatory standards within a heavily monitored environment.
Technical Leadership & Domain Alignment
Partner directly with process engineers, chemical engineering leads, and research informatics directors to translate operational friction into robust technical specifications.
Establish engineering best practices, data modeling standards, and pipeline monitoring frameworks across the enterprise data stack.
Requirements
Experience & Mindset
Experience:
Senior-level proficiency (10–20+ years) in software development, data platform architecture, and complex ETL/ELT engineering.
Domain Adaptability:
Demonstrated ability to engineer data pipelines across non-standard, highly specialized domains (e.g., transition between process/chemical engineering data and clinical/scientific research informatics).
Location & Work Auth:
Must hold unrestricted US Work Authorization (no sponsorship available) and be able to work 3 days per week onsite in the Indianapolis, IN area.
Culture & Communication:
Exceptional problem-solving mindset, strong adaptability, and the ability to articulate complex technical architecture to cross-functional engineering teams.
Must-Have Technical Stack
Languages & Frameworks:
Advanced Python, PySpark, and expert-level SQL.
Data Platforms:
Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS/Azure enterprise data ecosystems.
Orchestration & ETL:
Extensive experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark, and enterprise data orchestration engines.
Data Pipelines:
Proven track record building streaming and batch data architectures via REST APIs, message brokers, and database integrations.
Domain Competency (Scientific & Process Focus)
Deep exposure to either scientific/clinical informatics (CDISC/SDTM, LIMS, clinical trials, multi-omics)
OR
chemical/process engineering data (API manufacturing, batch data, SCADA, MES, OSIsoft PI).
Nice-to-Haves & Certifications
Academic background in Chemical Engineering, Bio-process Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
Direct experience working inside regulated GxP environments in the Life Sciences or Specialty Chemicals sectors.
Certifications:
Databricks Certified Data Engineer Senior/Professional, Snowflake SnowPro Core/Advanced, or AWS Data Engineer Associate/Professional.
What This Role Is NOT
Not a pure Data Scientist or ML Researcher:
You will not be building or training machine learning models; you are designing and scaling the underlying data architecture, pipelines, and platform infrastructure.
Not a non-coding Architect:
This is a 100% hands-on engineering lead role requiring direct pipeline construction and technical execution.
Not a Fully Remote Position:
This role requires a steady hybrid commitment of 3 days onsite per week at the client site in Indianapolis.

About the Role
Enterprise deals aren't won by a single email or a single seller. They're won by a coordinated push that reaches every stakeholder in the room, at the right moment, with the right message. As our Account-Based Marketing Manager, you'll own the programs that turn our highest-value Enterprise and Strategic accounts into pipeline. You'll work directly with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Partnerships to build 1:1 and 1:few plays that engage buying groups and move complex, multi-stakeholder deals forward. This is a role for someone who's comfortable building from limited precedent and translating account strategy into campaigns that actually change how a deal moves.
What you'll do
Own and execute ABM programs for a defined portfolio of Enterprise and Strategic accounts, from strategy through campaign delivery.
Design 1:1 and 1:few ABM plays that engage decision-makers and full buying groups, not just single contacts.
Partner with Sales on account plans, opportunity progression, and executive engagement, acting as the marketing counterpart to their account strategy.
Build personalized messaging and content experiences tailored to enterprise stakeholders, translating account priorities into a value narrative.
Run multi-channel campaigns across LinkedIn, email, paid media, content hubs, direct mail, and events, sequencing channels to match where each account is in the funnel.
Lead high-touch executive engagement initiatives, including curated dinners, events, and account-specific experiences that build senior-level relationships.
Drive account research to surface buying group members, whitespace, and engagement signals that inform where to focus next.
Track account engagement, campaign performance, and pipeline impact across the portfolio, and use those signals to reallocate effort toward what's working.
Test new ABM tactics and engagement approaches, treating each program as a hypothesis to validate rather than a template to repeat.
At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve.
Skills and Qualifications
4-7 years of B2B marketing experience with strong exposure to enterprise demand generation, ABM, or strategic account marketing.
Demonstrated experience executing multi-channel ABM programs targeting complex buying groups.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate account engagement and pipeline signals and adjust programs accordingly.
Experience partnering closely with Sales to support account strategies and opportunity progression.
Ability to independently plan and execute marketing initiatives aligned with broader strategic objectives.
Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn, and ABM or intent tools.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and plans need to adapt in real time.
Nice to Have
Experience running executive-level engagement programs (dinners, curated events, VIP experiences).
Background in SaaS or fintech, where enterprise sales cycles involve multiple senior stakeholders.
You'll Thrive Here If
You Treat a stalled enterprise deal as a puzzle to solve, not someone else's problem.
Can build a program from scratch when there's no playbook to follow.
Read pipeline and engagement data as a starting point for the next test, not a to file away.
Move comfortably between big-picture account strategy and the details of a single campaign asset.
Build real working relationships with sellers instead of treating Sales as a stakeholder to manage.
Hold a high bar for personalization. Generic ABM doesn't move enterprise buying groups.
Take ownership of outcomes, not just activity. Pipeline impact is the scoreboard.
Give and take direct feedback easily, and adjust fast when a play isn't landing.
Compensation
The compensation range for this role is $98,000 - $106,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, alignment with the role’s requirements and location.
Perks & Benefits
Health, Dental, and Vision insurance covered at 100% for employees, 80% for employee plus dependents, and 70% for employees plus family.
FSA and HSA Spending Account.
20 days of vacation, 5 sick days, 11 company holidays plus an additional 1 floating holiday.

About Delinea:
Delinea is a pioneer in securing human and machine identities through intelligent, centralized authorization, empowering organizations to seamlessly govern their interactions across the modern enterprise. Leveraging AI-powered intelligence, Delinea’s leading cloud-native Identity Security Platform applies context throughout the entire identity lifecycle – across cloud and traditional infrastructure, data, SaaS applications, and AI. It is the only platform that enables you to discover all identities – including workforce, IT administrator, developers, and machines – assign appropriate access levels, detect irregularities, and respond to threats in real-time. With deployment in weeks, not months, 90% fewer resources to manage than the nearest competitor, and a 99.995% uptime, Delinea delivers robust security and operational efficiency without compromise.
What You Will Own:
— Price and packaging architecture across the portfolio: tiering, licensing metrics, add-on structure, bundling.
— Proposal quality into the monthly Price Committee: analysis, financial model, recommendation, and action register through to closure.
— Discount governance, including band policy and guardrails.
— Monetization for new categories: NHI governance, AI agent identity, StrongDM, consumption-based licensing.
— Commercial readiness at launch, ensuring packaging and pricing ship with the product.
— The single source of truth for pricing, packaging and quoting guidance, partnering with Product Marketing on seller enablement.
— Price realization, attach rate and competitive position, informed by competitor pricing, market benchmarks and win/loss data.
What We Are Looking For:
— 12+ years across pricing strategy, monetization, product management or product marketing, including 5+ years owning pricing as a named function.
— Experience building a monetization function where none existed: cadence, governance, documentation, analytical bench.
— Experience preparing and defending recommendations to a formal pricing committee or equivalent decision body.
— Demonstrated design of tiered packaging for enterprise software, strong financial modeling (pricing impact, ARR and expansion, discount optimization).
— Credibility with executive peers, holding a position on pricing under pressure without direct authority over sales or finance.
Strongly preferred:
— Cybersecurity or identity security (PAM, IAM, SIEM, endpoint); exposure to NHI, machine identity or secrets management.
— Consumption-, usage-, or outcome-based pricing models alongside seat-based subscription.
— Working knowledge of CPQ (Salesforce CPQ, Apttus); pricing through M&A integration or a major commercial model transition. MBA a plus.
Why Now:
Pricing at Delinea has been carried by people doing it well alongside a full portfolio, and the surface area keeps growing. The opportunity is to make monetization a professional discipline, with a decision forum that already works. This role is built for owning monetization end-to-end rather than managing an approval queue.
Why work at Delinea?
— Meaningful work, a culture of innovation and great career progression.
— Core values: Spirited, Trust, Respect, Ownership, Nimble, Global.
— Competitive salaries, meaningful bonus program, excellent benefits including healthcare insurance, pension/retirement matching, life insurance, employee assistance program, time off plans, and paid company holidays.

An overview of this role
You'll be the Staff Program Manager, CCO Programs, running the cross-functional initiatives on the Chief Customer Officer's (CCO) priority list. These programs include go-to-market transformation, retention and renewal motions tied to major annual recurring revenue (ARR) goals, the field-to-product feedback loop, and executive engagement with our highest-value accounts. You'll turn executive intent into workstreams, coordinate senior stakeholders across Sales, Customer Experience, Product, Marketing, Renewals, Professional Services, Data, and Enablement, and make the tactical calls that keep the portfolio honest.
This is a founding seat reporting to the CCO while the broader Programs function is built, and the reporting line may evolve as the team scales. In your first year, every CCO-level program will have a clear owner other than the CCO, leadership will trust your data-grounded view of program health, and the portfolio will deliver measurable business outcomes.
What you'll do
Own execution and business outcomes across CCO-level programs, including go-to-market transformation, renewal and retention motions, product feedback loops, and executive sponsorship for top accounts.
Turn CCO direction into workstreams with clear owners, dependencies, and timelines.
Coordinate senior stakeholders across Sales, Customer Experience, Product, Marketing, Renewals, Professional Services, Data, and Enablement, holding them accountable without direct authority.
Surface stalled work, unowned risks, and slipping timelines so the CCO has a reliable, real-time view of the portfolio.
Recommend scope changes, re-sequencing, or ending a program when it is not delivering value.
Drive follow-through from executive meetings by tracking decisions and action items to completion.
Track program health using data, connect execution to retention, expansion, adoption, and ARR outcomes, and communicate executive-ready narratives.
Build shared standards for tracking, reporting, and handoffs, and iterate plans with functional leaders based on field feedback.
What you'll bring
Experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic programs at the executive level and turning ambiguous direction into delivered outcomes without a fully scoped brief.
Experience in Customer Experience, go-to-market, or revenue-facing functions such as Customer Success, Renewals, Sales, or Revenue Operations, with fluency in retention, expansion, and adoption motions and how they contribute to ARR.
The ability to influence senior stakeholders, including executives, and hold them accountable to commitments without formal authority.
Judgment to make high-stakes tactical recommendations under ambiguity, including when data supports changing direction or ending a program.
Data fluency to assess program health, diagnose where work is breaking down, and recommend a data-informed next step.
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to move between an executive-ready narrative and execution-level detail.
Comfort operating without established infrastructure and helping build the function's operating model.
Reliable follow-through and the ability to navigate conflict and competing priorities across a broad stakeholder group.
About the team
You'll be the first Program Manager supporting CX Executive initiatives and the founding hire in a Programs function that will grow as the CCO's highest-priority cross-functional initiatives outgrow ad hoc ownership. The team works across the customer lifecycle, from go-to-market strategy and product feedback through renewal, expansion, and executive relationships with large accounts. We partner with Sales, Customer Experience, Product, Marketing, Data, and Enablement leaders in a globally distributed, largely asynchronous environment to turn CCO commitments into shipped outcomes.

- Own full-cycle recruitment across Research Science and Research Engineering, with flexibility to support other technical roles as they come along
- Advise hiring managers on market mapping, leveling, comp positioning, and the competitive landscape for US research and engineering talent
- Translate the nuances of each technical role into compelling, accurate candidate outreach
End-to-End Technical Recruitment
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to close, operating with autonomy on complex, competitive technical roles
- Source passive and active candidates across US research and engineering talent pools — from PhD students and postdocs to experienced researchers and engineers at leading AI labs, universities, and technology companies

- Provide candidates with real insight into our research agenda, compute access, publication culture, and the specific impact of their role
- Deliver a high-quality, respectful candidate experience at every stage, regardless of outcome
Recruiting Operations & Data-Driven Improvement
- Develop and refine technical recruiting processes, tools, and documentation to improve outcomes and efficiency

- Build and maintain market maps, competitive intel, and talent pools for key US research and engineering segments
- Standardize technical interview rubrics, scorecards, and debrief practices across US technical hiring teams
Raising the Bar
- Collaborate with Research leadership and the broader Talent team to continuously elevate our hiring standards

- Partner on employer-brand and outbound sourcing initiatives — including academic pipelines, conference presence, and open-source community engagement — that position Mistral as a destination for top research and engineering talent
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a startup or high-growth environment, with a focus on Research Science and Research Engineering roles
- Demonstrated ability to independently hire across the technical stack — from Research Engineers to Research Scientists, and senior research talent
- Deep network and sourcing expertise in US research and engineering talent markets, with credibility in AI/ML and ideally connections across top labs and universities
- Track record of hiring in competitive, candidate-scarce markets where top researchers have multiple offers
- Experience working across multiple US markets, including relocation and visa-driven hiring
- Willingness to work on other roles as needs come up
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior technical stakeholders without direct authority
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle shifting priorities across a high-volume hiring slate
- Professional experience with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby
- Familiarity with the AI/ML research landscape and the ability to credibly discuss frontier model capabilities, research directions, and publications with technical candidates
