We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Open to hiring remote across North America - NYC, San Francisco, or Denver preferred.
Runway is scaling its Enterprise revenue organization with leaders who know how to build and scale high-performance teams. And, who can operate a revenue machine while keeping customer value in mind - leading our industry-based revenue pods responsible for both net-new ACV, NRR, and Renewal.
This role is designed for the leader who wants to accelerate their CRO career trajectory. Someone who knows how to build and scale teams and leadership excellence from $100M to $500M+ organizations, operate in AI-native fluid environments, and have experience selling-to, expanding, and renewing with client operators from across a variety of ICPs (From operators in Marketing, HR, Operations, and Finance, to technologists in AI, IT Infrastructure, and Security).
Runway is searching for leaders who enjoy the build - hiring top-performing AEs and frontline leaders to grow your teams for scale. You’re a leader-of-leaders who lead hybrid revenue pods of AEs + Engagement managers. We expect you to think like a CRO - every pod is effectively a P&L, expansion is as much your number as new logos, and any customer who signs needs to see value through consumption of the Runway platform.
If you have only ever inherited a running enterprise org, this is not the right fit. If you have built one, we'd like to talk.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and lead an Enterprise segment of 3-4 frontline sales managers; each with 3-5 revenue pods beneath them with operating Enterprise Account Executives and Engagement Managers in each pod. At scale, this role leads 25 - 40 GTM teammates
- Own the segment's new ACV and NRR targets - both numbers, one owner, reviewed weekly with the CRO
- Engage personally with C-level executives on accounts, building business cases and navigating procurement, security review, legal through to production deployment
- Run the operating rhythm: forecasting to +/-5%, deal inspection, pipeline generation discipline, and account planning across a long-cycle book
- Ensure that each of your leaders engages their revenue pods (AE + Engagement manager) to drive license consumption and value output. The more we invest in our customer’s adoption, the more everyone wins.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 12+ years of enterprise software sales with 5+ years leading enterprise sales organizations with experience as a second-line leader
- A validated record of building - you have grown an enterprise segment past 25 sellers and beaten the number while doing it
- Personal history of closing and sponsoring $250k-$1M+ ACV deals with $1B+ revenue companies
- Experience running consumption or usage-based revenue models, where expansion is earned through customer value
- Fluency with modern AI - you use these tools daily, operate your team with them to drive productivity, you can demo Runway credibly to a CMO or CTO, and you have a defensible point of view on where generative media is going
- Deep understanding of MEDDPICC and Command of the Message to reinforce value-orientation and deal progression with your teams
- A record of exceeding quota year-over-year
STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO HAVE
- Experience selling API and AI infrastructure solutions to CTO / CIOs
- Sold creative, media, or content technology to Fortune 500 marketing and studio organizations
- Built vertical pod or team structures with shared new ACV + NRR%/Renewal ownership
- Scaled a GTM org through the $100M to $500M+ revenue stage

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
OUR MISSION
At Humanoid we strive to create the world's leading, commercially scalable, safe, and advanced humanoid robots that seamlessly integrate into daily life and amplify human capacity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Research Engineer on the World Models team, you will build action-conditioned generative models that predict how the world evolves around our robots — future video, proprioception, contacts, and outcomes — from past observations and actions. World models serve four purposes in our stack: a pretrained, physics-aware prior for our VLA policies; an engine for rare data collection, cross-platform transfer, and sim-to-real transfer; a testbed for policy evaluation and testing before hardware; and a future-prediction rollout engine that surfaces what our policies intend to do, for safety and planning. This is a hands-on individual contributor role: you will design architectures, run large training jobs, and validate your models against real fleet data from industrial deployments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and train multimodal world models — video, state, action, and language — using diffusion-based and transformer architectures.
- Build action-conditioned video prediction and dynamics models that stay physically consistent over long horizons, including contact-rich manipulation, and serve as pretrained priors for VLA policies.
- Develop learned-simulator evaluation: score candidate policies offline, predict real-world success rates before deployment, and roll out policy futures to expose intended behaviour for safety review and planning.
- Generate synthetic rollouts and counterfactual experience — including rare events, cross-platform transfer, and sim-to-real transfer — to augment policy training, and measure their effect on downstream task performance.
- Establish fidelity metrics and calibration protocols that quantify where the world model can be trusted and where it diverges from reality.
- Build data pipelines that turn fleet telemetry, teleoperation logs, and internet-scale video into training corpora for world models.
- Run scaling and ablation studies on architecture, data mixture, and context length; communicate findings crisply.
- Collaborate with pretraining, RL, and manipulation teams to integrate world models into policy training and evaluation loops.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A track record of training large generative models — video, world, or multimodal — with shipped models or published artifacts to show for it.
- Deep hands-on experience with modern generative architectures: diffusion models, autoregressive transformers, latent-variable models, or video prediction.
- Experience with large-scale distributed training: streaming datasets, checkpointing and state management, debugging numerics and training instabilities.
- Strong Python + PyTorch/JAX; you can profile kernels, optimize data loaders, and write maintainable research code.
- Empirical rigor: you design careful evaluations, run honest baselines, and document experiments clearly.
- Excitement about grounding generative models in physical reality rather than pixels alone.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with world models for robotics or autonomous driving (e.g., action-conditioned video models, learned simulators, model-based RL).
- Familiarity with robotics simulators (Isaac Sim, MuJoCo) and sim-to-real considerations.
- Experience using world models for policy evaluation or synthetic data generation at scale.
- Publications at top-tier deep learning conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CoRL, CVPR) or equivalent open-source contributions.
- Experience optimizing generative models for fast inference.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Software Serviceability Engineer to own the software and AI dimension of serviceability for our humanoid robots. Product Services Engineering makes sure the robot is designed to be maintained — and that when it needs service, it can be diagnosed and repaired quickly, safely, and at low skill in the field. You will own that mission for everything software: diagnostics, firmware and bootloader serviceability, and the diagnostic content behind our remote-diagnostics (Digital Shadow) platform.
This is a deeply technical, hands-on role. You will validate the software and AI dimension of every service procedure before it reaches production, build the diagnostic tooling that lets our Remote Services and Repair Centre teams find faults fast, and act as part of the single engineering interface between Services and R&D.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own Design-for-Serviceability for software: ensure the robot’s software, firmware, and AI stack can be diagnosed, updated, and recovered in the field with minimal skill.
- Collaborate with R&D to build and validate diagnostic scripts, tooling, and self-test routines that localise faults as deep as possible in the BOM.
- Define and own the software diagnostic content in the Digital Shadow platform: remote diagnostics, fleet-pattern detection, and AR-guided execution.
- Validate the software and AI dimension of service, repair, calibration and OTA procedures before production release.
- Own firmware, bootloader, and calibration serviceability, including recovery paths for failed updates.
- Support New Services Introduction (NSI) for software, and act as the single point of entry from Services into R&D for software escalations.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong software engineering for robotics or embedded systems: ROS2, Bash, and Ubuntu/Linux, with bootloader/firmware workflows.
- Proficiency in Python (and ideally C++) for diagnostics, tooling, and automation.
- Hands-on experience diagnosing robots or complex electromechanical systems — you can tell whether a fault is software, firmware, calibration, or hardware.
- Working understanding of sensor and actuator stacks (2D/3D LiDAR, RGB cameras, motors/actuators) from a software and diagnostic perspective.
- A design-for-serviceability mindset — you think about the technician in the field, not just the happy path.
- Disciplined engineering practice and version control (Git).
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience deploying AI/ML on robots and diagnosing model or behaviour issues in the field.
- Familiarity with remote-diagnostics or fleet-telemetry platforms.
- Experience authoring service documentation or work instructions consumed by non-engineers.
- Exposure to Design-for-Serviceability / DfMA on a hardware product line.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Serviceability Engineer to own the electrical and electronics dimension of serviceability for our humanoid robots. Product Services Engineering ensures the robot is designed to be maintained — modular, repairable, and serviceable at low skill in the field. You will own that mission for everything electrical: power distribution and batteries, wiring and harnesses, connectors, sensor and actuator drive electronics, and compute — including how faults are diagnosed, how systems are safely isolated, and how parts are replaced and reworked at the right BOM level.
This is a deeply technical, hands-on role. You will validate the electrical and electronics dimension of every service procedure before production, define the diagnostic points and safe-working practices that let our field and Repair Centre teams work quickly and safely, and act as part of the single engineering interface between Services and R&D.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own Design-for-Serviceability for electrical and electronics: drive accessibility, connectorisation, safe isolation, and low-skill field-executability into the product before design is locked.
- Define and validate electrical repair, rework, and replacement procedures at the correct BOM level — module/assembly for the field, deeper for the Repair Centre — across power distribution, batteries, harnesses, sensor and actuator electronics, and compute.
- Specify the diagnostic points, test equipment, and safe-isolation / lockout procedures needed to service the robot’s electrical systems safely and repeatably.
- Define the electrical diagnostic content in the Digital Shadow platform — localising power, sensing, and actuation faults as deep as possible in the BOM.
- Lead the electrical and electronics input to Service Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (S-FMEA) and feed serviceability requirements back into design.
- Support New Services Introduction (NSI) for electrical scope, and act as the single point of entry from Services into R&D for electrical escalations.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Electrical or electronics engineering background with hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing complex electromechanical products or robots.
- Strong grasp of power distribution, battery systems, wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors (LiDAR, cameras), and actuator drive electronics from a maintainability standpoint.
- Confident reading schematics and wiring diagrams, using electrical test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, and similar), and defining safe-isolation and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Design-for-Serviceability experience: connectorisation, diagnostic access, fault isolation, and modularity of electrical assemblies.
- A field-first, safety-first mindset — you design for the technician who has limited time, tools, and training, and for whom electrical safety is paramount.
- Comfort working across the full BOM hierarchy, from full-robot diagnosis to board- and component-level repair.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with humanoid or legged robotics electrical systems.
- Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS), high-current power electronics, and functional-safety considerations.
- Experience with calibration-after-repair for sensors and actuators.
- Exposure to spare-parts / service-replaceable-unit (SRU) strategy and refurbishment loops.
- Experience introducing serviceability into a product moving from prototype to mass production.

We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Mechatronics Remote Support Engineer to be the troubleshooting core of our Remote Services team — the people who keep our humanoid robots running in the field. When a robot has a problem, you diagnose it remotely, resolve what can be resolved without a site visit, and — when hands are needed on the robot — produce a precise physical-intervention recommendation for the field or Repair Centre teams to execute.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical role. You will work remote-first, diagnosing as deep into the robot as the tools allow, and you will occasionally travel as a “flying doctor” when local resources cannot resolve an issue themselves.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Diagnose robot faults remotely using telemetry and our Digital Shadow diagnostics (remote diagnostics, 3D BOM explosion, and fleet-pattern detection).
- Resolve issues remotely wherever possible, driving each case to the deepest root cause you can before escalating.
- Produce complete physical-intervention recommendations — what to do, why, how, the skill level, spare parts, expected time, and any special tooling.
- Occasionally, act as a flying doctor on-site when local resources cannot fix the issue themselves.
- Prioritise cases against SLAs and keep customers informed with clear, transparent updates.
- Document diagnoses and resolutions so the team’s collective knowledge grows while the digital tools mature.
- Escalate through the single point of entry to Engineering when a case genuinely needs R&D.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Hands-on knowledge of robot hardware: 2D/3D LiDAR, RGB cameras, motors, and actuators.
- Software troubleshooting on robots: ROS2, Bash, Ubuntu/Linux, and bootloader/firmware.
- Strong remote-diagnosis instincts — you localise faults precisely before recommending any physical work.
- Clear technical communication with customers and field teams, especially under SLA pressure.
- A methodical, case-to-the-end mindset with disciplined documentation.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site interventions.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors and IMUs.
- Python and Git for building small diagnostic utilities.
- Prior customer-facing field-service or technical-support experience.
- Familiarity with SLA-driven support operations and lean, one-piece-flow ways of working.

- Elite stakeholder communication — able to build consensus across diverse functional and executive stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Exposure to humanoid robotics, cobots, or other advanced-technology industries.
- Familiarity with service benchmarks in relevant industries.
- Experience introducing BI as a shared intelligence layer across a multi-team organisation.
- PMO tooling proficiency (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent).

WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Mechanical/electrical technician training plus ~5+ years of hands-on repair experience, with deep specialisation.
- Proven ability to overhaul and restore complex electromechanical systems and full robots to specification.
- Strong forensic troubleshooting skills — you find root cause and can defend a warranty determination with evidence.
- Ability to author work instructions and mentor other technicians.
- Rigorous quality, certification, 5S and health-and-safety discipline.
- Willingness to travel for on-site interventions.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with humanoid, legged, or advanced robotics hardware.
- Familiarity with calibration, metrology, and test/certification requirements for precision mechatronics.
- Exposure to failure-analysis methods and supplier-quality / warranty processes.
- Experience setting up or scaling a repair or refurbishment operation.

We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to join our Data Engineering team based in London.
As the Data Platform Team, we strive to create the world’s leading, commercially scalable, safe, and advanced humanoid robots that seamlessly integrate into daily life and amplify human capacity.
We’re looking for experienced Engineers to help build our data platform from the ground up. You’ll have the opportunity to define its architecture, make key decisions, and shape how we handle and process petabyte-scale data in the near future.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build the Capability Factory - an internal platform designed for everyone from software engineers to non-technical operators, enabling the entire organization to teach HMND robots new skills at scale, from raw data all the way to deployed capabilities.
- Curate, preprocess, and manage large-scale datasets for humanoid robot training - a corpus of robot telemetry growing toward petabyte scale.
- Design and operate highly scalable data pipelines and the compute infrastructure that powers them, ensuring reliability and throughput as data volume and team demands grow.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of training data across multiple concurrent projects and robot platforms.
- Collaborate with machine learning teams to shape the Capability Factory, streamline MLOps, and build the evaluation workflows that close the loop between training runs and real-world robot performance.
- Build data warehouse solutions and BI dashboards that give stakeholders across the organization clear visibility into data collection, model progress, and operational health.
- Establish and uphold best practices for data management - versioning, access control, security, and compliance.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of owning and delivering complex systems end-to-end, not just contributing to them.
- Strong backend engineering - designing and operating production-grade APIs and services: clean data modeling, reliable error handling, performance under load.
- Data engineering at PB+ scale - building and maintaining pipelines that move, transform, and validate large volumes of data reliably; understanding of batch and streaming processing patterns, data quality, and schema evolution.
- Workflow orchestration at scale - designing and operating multi-step automated pipelines with retries, observability, and graceful failure handling.
- Distributed systems fundamentals - you understand how things break at scale: eventual consistency, idempotency, backpressure, job scheduling, and failure modes in distributed compute and storage.
- Cloud infrastructure fluency - you have shipped and operated real systems on a major cloud provider; you think about cost, reliability, and security as first-class concerns, not afterthoughts.
- Container orchestration - deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes at a level where you can debug scheduling issues, design resource allocation, and reason about cluster health without guidance.
- Full-stack range - comfortable building both the backend and the frontend of an internal product; you can own a feature from database schema to UI without handing off.
- Production ownership mindset - you've been on-call, triaged incidents under pressure, and improved systems after postmortems. You take reliability personally.
Nice to Have
- ML infrastructure or MLOps experience - understanding of how training jobs run, how model artifacts are managed, and what makes an evaluation pipeline trustworthy; you've worked alongside or directly supported ML researchers.
- Distributed compute frameworks - experience with large-scale parallel data processing, whether for data transformation, model training, or evaluation.
- Domain knowledge in robotics or embodied AI - familiarity with robot data formats, sensor telemetry, or the sim-to-real evaluation loop is a significant head start.
- BI and data warehouse experience - building data models and dashboards that translate raw operational data into decisions for non-technical stakeholders.
- Dual-cloud or multi-cloud storage - experience reasoning about cost, latency, and consistency tradeoffs across storage providers.
- Frontend product sense - beyond just shipping features, you have opinions about what makes an internal tool actually usable by non-engineers.

*Preferable to have someone near one of our offices in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring around the world for the right candidate.
Runway Enterprise is a complete solution for enterprises, offering out-of-the-box creative tools, a generative media developer platform, model licensing, and forward-deployed creatives and researchers that embed directly within enterprises.
We're hiring an Enterprise product marketing leader for Runway Enterprise, leading the segment and developing priority verticals including Media, Retail/eCommerce, Software, and more.
This is not a purely positioning or “launch” role. You'll own the success of the enterprise segment, partnering closely with the sales & enablement team, enterprise marketing & growth. You’ll lead the development of Runway’s overall enterprise messaging and positioning and create tailored, vertical-specific messages and value propositions, built from your first-hand experiences engaging directly with Runway’s customers.
This is a builder's role. You'll be defining the discipline, working shoulder-to-shoulder with sales, product, creative, marketing and growth; you'll be measured on the growth of the business (not just on assets shipped or messaging consistency).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the Enterprise segment. Define Runway audiences in the enterprise: who they are, the jobs they hire Runway for, how they differ across verticals. Ground audiences in hands on customer research, win/loss details, and usage analysis. Turn these insights into a point of view that product and leadership actually build against.
- Own positioning and messaging for enterprise & vertical solutions. Define how Runway is positioned across its audiences, with tight value propositions and proof points for key verticals. You’ll make the story sharp, consistent, and reflective of Runway's ambitious brand, and make sure a professional buyer recognizes themselves in it.
- Drive acquisition and conversion, not just awareness. Partner with growth to move the funnel that matters for this segment: acquisition channels and targeting that find more customers within our ICPs. You're comfortable owning metrics and running experiments, not just producing the narrative around them.
- Drive competitive intelligence and response. Track and deeply understand the key players across the AI creative tools market. Turn your market understanding into a living point of view on where we win, where we're exposed, and how we respond, and make it legible to product and leadership.
- Partner on enablement. Partner with the sales enablement team to develop assets that drive confidence in Runway’s customers and sellers alike.
- Player & coach. You’ll operate hands on as the direct owner of Enterprise and Solutions Marketing; opportunity to lead and manage a team of PMMs for candidates of the right seniority.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years in product marketing, including time leading PMM for a winning enterprise product at meaningful scale. You’ll bring a track record of work that moved business metrics and grew new verticals (not just launches & messaging that you shipped).
- Core & Vertical expertise. You’re comfortable leading product positioning exercises at the executive level. You come with a proven track record of industry/vertical product marketing, including defining, developing, and launching new verticals.
- Exceptional positioning and narrative craft. You can take research concepts and technical products and make them land for a discerning, professional audience. You create sharp positioning, ad creative, and launch stories (and you can write them yourself).
- You thrive in an environment with rapid pace and a high accountability culture. You move very fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and instinctively gravitate toward shipping today (not writing docs for tomorrow).
