Please be informed that Foxelli Group hires exclusively in-house and doesn't work with any external recruitment agencies. Any company or individual claiming to recruit on behalf of Foxelli Group is not affiliated with us.
At Foxelli, we’re building more than e-commerce brands - we’re building a tribe of thoughtful humans: AI enthusiasts, curious builders, and ambitious minds who care about doing meaningful work together. Ten years in, our D2C brands reach millions and generate over $20M annually. Our focus stays simple: create products customers love and a team that actually enjoys building them.
If you love to learn, experiment, think boldly, make decisions, and build things that matter -you’ll feel at home with us.
THE ROLE
We're building an AI-powered entertainment studio producing addictive vertical micro-drama series for US audiences, primarily women aged 35–55.
We're looking for a creative director with exceptional storytelling instincts, strong cinematic taste, and a deep understanding of human emotions.
Your mission is simple: turn good scripts into emotionally powerful episodes that people can't stop watching.
You'll work with screenwriters, AI video creators, and editors, taking creative ownership from script review to the final finished episode.
You won't need to write the scripts or generate every video yourself. Your role is to guide the creative execution, identify what needs improvement, and ensure every episode meets our standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Script Review & Creative Direction
- Review season storylines and individual episode screenplays.
- Evaluate storytelling, emotional impact, character motivations, hooks, and cliffhangers.
- Approve scripts or provide specific, actionable feedback to screenwriters.
- Add directing instructions only when necessary. If the script is already strong and production-ready, approve it without unnecessary changes.
2. Direct AI Video Production
- Establish the visual style and creative standards for each series.
- Guide AI video creators on cinematography, framing, character performance, lighting, and emotional delivery.
- Review generated footage and identify scenes or shots that need improvement.
- Maintain visual consistency and quality across episodes.
3. Editing & Final Approval
- Review episode edits for pacing, tension, emotional impact, music, sound design, and visual storytelling.
- Give clear, prioritized feedback to editors.
- Approve final episodes before release.
- Ensure the finished video delivers the intended emotional experience.
4. Production Quality & Efficiency
- Work with multiple AI video creators and editors.
- Help the team increase production speed without sacrificing creative quality.
- Identify recurring production problems and improve workflows.
- Use audience feedback and retention data to improve future episodes.
WHO YOU ARE
- Exceptional storytelling instincts – you understand why audiences feel anger, excitement, suspense, satisfaction, and anticipation.
- Strong cinematic judgment – you know how camera angles, acting, editing, lighting, and sound influence emotions.
- Experience in directing or filmmaking – ideally film, television, serialized drama, or narrative short-form video.
- Understanding of AI filmmaking – you know the capabilities and limitations of AI video generation and how they affect production decisions.
- Strong attention to detail – you easily spot continuity errors, weak performances, awkward cuts, or emotional moments that don't work.
- Clear communicator – you can explain exactly what's wrong, why it matters, and how to fix it.
- Pragmatic – you don't make changes just to make changes. You know when something is good enough to approve.
- Comfortable with fast-paced production – you can make strong creative decisions quickly.
- Excellent English communication skills.
BIG PLUS
- Experience directing drama, romance, thrillers, soap operas, or telenovelas.
- Familiarity with ReelShort, DramaBox, or other vertical drama platforms.
- Experience with AI filmmaking tools such as Kling, Runway, Seedance, or similar.
- Experience leading creative production teams.
- Understanding of audience retention and performance-driven storytelling.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Episodes consistently deliver strong emotional impact, hooks, and cliffhangers.
- Screenwriters and AI creators receive clear, useful feedback without unnecessary revisions.
- The team produces more high-quality episodes while keeping production costs under control.
- Finished episodes maintain consistent cinematic quality and improve based on audience feedback.

THE ROLE
This is a full-stack role where you help bring ideas to life from concept to real sales and where you're just as excited to shoot content as you are to help plan around it. You'll be working across three of our own brands - Mrs. Quilty, Hooks & Needles, and This Month's Craft Box.
You'll work closely with marketing, design, and development - helping turn customer insights into landing pages, funnels, and campaigns that people actually want to click, read, and buy from. And on the social side, you're the one actually making the content: filming, shooting, editing, posting, and chasing the next trend before it's over.
If you love:
- creating content as much as helping plan it
- mixing strategy with execution
- testing ideas
- improving funnels
- making pretty things convert
…and you've played with AI tools to move faster, build smarter, or test better ideas, you might be our person 👀
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
📱 Social Media & Content Creation
- Actively produce content for posts - photos, video, edits, captions, all of it.
- Order and unbox brand product boxes (company-covered) and turn them into content: filming, photographing, styling.
- Bring new content ideas to help grow our following and hit engagement targets.
- Keep an eye on current trends and find fun, on-brand ways to jump on them fast.
- Help manage and grow our social channels, including our Facebook community.
- Keep track of what's performing and flag what's working (and what's not).
- Checking Loox reviews (if needed)
- Managing influencer ad comments
🧠 Marketing Support
- Help put marketing plans into action.
- Assist with customer research and keeping tabs on market trends.
- Pull together performance data and share it with the team.
- Bring fresh ideas to help improve our funnels and campaigns.
- Help keep marketing projects on track from idea to launch.
✍️ Creative & Content Magic
- Write copy for ads, landing pages, and funnels that sounds human and sells.
- Review design work and give feedback so it looks on-brand and converts.
- Work with the design team on ad creative production.
🌐 Landing Pages & Website Optimization
- QA landing pages like a detective: checking UX, flow, and functionality.
- Help run A/B tests to improve conversion rates.
- Work closely with developers on website updates and improvements.
🤝 Team Glue
- Help connect marketing, design, and development.
- Put together clear briefs so everyone knows what to build and why.
- Keep track of project progress and update the team.
🔍 Customer Research & Insights
- Collect and organize customer feedback and data.
- Help spot pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Use insights to support acquisition and sales efforts.
🤖 AI Tools & Smarter Execution
- Use AI tools (like GPT, image/video generators, automation platforms) to speed up tasks, test ideas faster, and get more done with less grind.
- Spot areas where AI can help the team move quicker or build smarter.
🦊 WHY FOXELLI?
We’re not into boring corporate marketing.
We like:
- smart ideas
- quirky personality
- strong execution
- and people who take ownership
You’ll have space to think, test, build, and grow with us - and actually see the impact of your work.

Web Penetration Testing
AI Red Teaming / LLM Security
(Python, JavaScript, Java)
(Upper-Intermediate / B2+)
Model Evaluation
GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Supply Chain Security
