We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote position. We are seeking candidates in US and Canada.
The Opportunity:
Application Core Services (AppCore) is a group within Platform, in the Foundations department. Foundations produces the Internal Engineering Platform (IEP) and partners closely with our Cloud, Enterprise, and Grafana teams. Our team develops the essential systems driving Grafana's business operations. We utilize the grafana.com platform to engineer bespoke integrations and solutions that unify the diverse technical ecosystem of a modern software enterprise.
The team owns important domain areas that help keep both our customer workflows and internal business processes running smoothly. AppCore is made up of multiple squads, each focused on one or more of these domains. Our work includes maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculations, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the user portal our customers rely on to manage their accounts.
This is a team working at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. The systems we build are critical to how Grafana Cloud scales. We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex workflow and systems problems, improving reliability and developer experience, and building software that directly supports both customers and internal stakeholders.
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a unique perspective to the software. Engineers at Grafana Labs also have the opportunity to contribute to Open Source communities and collaborate across teams beyond their immediate scope.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Usage squad owns the essential systems driving Grafana's business operations and customer usage calculations. Our domain encompasses maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculation, cost management and billing applications, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the customer user portal.
Our work sits at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. We build full-stack web applications, customer portals, backend services, APIs, and data integrations across internal Grafana platforms and third-party systems like NetSuite and Salesforce. When this domain works well, customers get clear usage visibility, reliable billing, and seamless account management workflows. This role is about 75% FrontEnd and 25% BackEnd.
Design, build, operate, and evolve reliable full-stack web applications, customer-facing account portals, and backend services that power core customer usage and billing workflows
Build and maintain backend APIs (Golang, Node.js) and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies (TypeScript, React)
Design and maintain integrations between Grafana systems and external business platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Develop and automate business logic for customer usage metering, pricing structures, promotions, and billing reconciliation
Collaborate across product management, DealOps, GTM, Support, and adjacent AppCore squads to deliver robust end-to-end features
Address technical debt, optimize CI/CD pipelines, strengthen test coverage, and improve system observability and operational resilience
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while shaping pragmatic solutions for complex systems challenges
Contribute to roadmap planning, technical design, OnCall improvements, and long-term simplification of stack operations
You will help own the production behavior of the systems you build. That includes improving runbooks, dashboards, alerts, reconciliation safety, rollout controls, and recovery procedures. You should be comfortable debugging across service boundaries and making careful changes in systems that affect customer stacks
What Makes You a Great Fit:
At Grafana, we actively embrace AI-assisted and agentic development practices, integrating these technologies into both our engineering workflows and the systems we deliver. We encourage our engineers to thoughtfully leverage AI tools to enhance every stage of the lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, documentation, and operations. We also look for strategic opportunities to embed agentic capabilities within our services to eliminate toil, bolster reliability, and ensure that complex customer workflows remain resilient and safe.
We are seeking a Staff FullStack Engineer who thrives on building production systems where correctness, scalability, and user experience are paramount. As a remote-first organization, you should be comfortable collaborating asynchronously across time zones and taking full ownership of the critical systems powering Grafana Cloud. Our team is small and operates with a high degree of independence; you will be expected to lead major projects, coordinate across service boundaries, and help define the technical direction for our domain.
You will be particularly successful in this role if you enjoy solving challenges related to stateful systems, eventual consistency, and reconciliation loops. We value engineers who can take ambiguous lifecycle requirements and transform them into explicit, modular solutions. You should be adept at breaking down complex systems work into safe, iterative increments while clearly communicating technical tradeoffs to both internal stakeholders and adjacent product teams.
Some things you might be expected to do could include:
Writing efficient, readable, and easy to maintain code
Designing new microservices or systems
Collaborating with teammates and other departments to reach consensus on proposed solutions
Coordinating with product and UX when needed
Responding to customer requests and feedback
When ready, participating in our follow-the-sun OnCall rotation
Participating in team decisions, such as roadmap planning and prioritization
Requirements:
You have at least 1 year of fully remote work experience
You have worked on a big SaaS platform and dealt with common distributed systems problems (e.g. scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, HA, …)
Strong professional experience with backend technologies (Golang, Node.js) as well as modern frontend web development (TypeScript, React)
Care deeply about developer and user experience and the quality of the products that you work on
Have some experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements, and brainstorming ideas to shipping a product to the customer’s hands in a self-driven way
You write clean, robust, well-tested software that other engineers can understand, operate, and maintain
Have experience with mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative but asynchronous environment
Can take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve tight learning loops: to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback, and then progress iteratively
You are willing to work across teams. Your work has to be aligned with the needs of other squads and external stakeholders. You make your plans transparent, bring stakeholders on board, and are open to feedback and suggestions
Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet, etc.)
Bonus Points For:
Experience with high-volume usage metering, billing engines, or customer-facing cost management applications
Experience designing, building, and maintaining integrations with third-party business systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Cloud Marketplaces)
Experience with frontend component libraries, design systems, and modern CSS-in-JS tooling
Familiarity with cloud marketplace integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS provisioning/tenancy patterns
Experience working on SaaS provisioning, tenancy, regional expansion, plugin rollout, or customer lifecycle systems
Experience with incident response involving configuration drift, partial failure, or cross-service state mismatch

Millions of people now use Perplexity to transform knowledge into action, and a growing share of them meet us first on their phone. The Growth team owns the product loops that help people discover, adopt, and build lasting habits around our most important AI experiences — and on mobile that means owning everything from the App Store listing to the first task a user finishes to the moment they upgrade.
As an Android growth engineer at Perplexity, you'll work across the full mobile funnel — install, activation, onboarding, push and lifecycle messaging, conversion, retention, and in-app purchase moments — for Perplexity, Comet, and Computer on Android. Engineers are responsible for end-to-end projects: rebuilding onboarding as a series of experiments, wiring in-app purchase and paywall surfaces to our billing systems, shipping notification experiences people actually keep enabled, and turning ASO and deep-link work into measurable adoption.
Growth at Perplexity goes beyond incremental funnel optimization. The team sits close to the core product — we translate behavioral signals, model outputs, and fast experimentation into durable product surfaces used across consumer and enterprise workflows. You'll move fast, run many experiments in parallel, and own the outcome end-to-end, while respecting the constraints mobile brings: release cycles, store review, and version fragmentation.
WHY PERPLEXITY IS DIFFERENT
- Craftsmanship. We build high quality, tasteful products targeting both the AI native and AI curious.
- Ownership. You identify the problem, design the solution and ship it.
- Entrepreneurship. We think like founders, act with urgency, and hustle to deliver for each other and our users.
- Scholarship. Work among highly talented peers, pursuing knowledge and truth, upleveling ourselves, our teams, and our products.
- Partnership. We amplify each others' strengths, break down silos, and give selflessly to help our colleagues deliver excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, build, and own growth surfaces across the mobile funnel — install, activation, onboarding, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and paid upgrade moments — on Android.
- Lead experiments end-to-end, from hypothesis and instrumentation through implementation, analysis, and rollout, shipping many in parallel despite app release cadence. Build the flag-driven and server-driven patterns that let us test without waiting on a store release.
- Own in-app purchase and paywall surfaces: billing integrations, subscription and credit purchase flows, entitlement correctness, and pricing and packaging experiments.
- Build push and lifecycle notification experiences that earn their opt-in — permission prompts, targeting, timing, deep links back into the right task, and the instrumentation to prove they drive retention rather than churn.
- Make cross-platform surfaces feel native. Partner with web and design engineers so onboarding, upsells, and in-task nudges are consistent across web, iOS, and Android
- Partner with rest of Growth to optimize app store performance and attribution
- Hill-climb on the metrics that matter: install-to-activation, D1/D7/D30 retention, notification opt-in and engagement, paid conversion, and habit formation, instrumented with clean data and trustworthy experiment readouts.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and the core Mobile team to translate behavioral signals into durable product surfaces.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of professional mobile engineering experience shipping consumer apps at meaningful scale on Android.
- Strong native skills — Kotlin/Jetpack Compose — and the willingness to flex into other parts of the stack to unblock yourself and others.
- Experience owning a full release cycle: build and release tooling, phased rollouts, store review, crash and regression monitoring, and rolling back safely.
- Strong execution: you ship many experiments and product improvements in parallel and drive them to a clear outcome.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms (Eppo, Statsig, Optimizely, or in-house equivalents) especially inside a versioned app.
- Comfort data-informed decision-making — you can pull, segment, and interpret your own funnel data.
- Strong product judgment; you translate user behavior and growth opportunities into simple, effective technical solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong ownership instincts; you propose experiments, ship features ahead of schedule, and drive improvements without asking for permission.
- Genuine interest and adoption of AI products and willingness to learn quickly.
NICE TO HAVE
- Direct experience on a growth or experimentation-heavy team
- Deep experience with in-app payments
- Experience with mobile attribution and measurement stacks (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch) and paid mobile acquisition.
- ASO experience, including store listing experiments and localized metadata.
- Comfort reaching into the backend or web stack to unblock yourself end-to-end.
- Time spent at a fast-growing startup or on a high-ownership engineering team.

ABOUT THE TEAM
At Mural, we're changing how teams collaborate, think, and make decisions together. Growth Marketing sits inside Product and owns how people discover Mural and decide to start. Paid is a core acquisition engine for the business, working across both our self-serve and sales-assisted motions. You will own it end to end and work closely with partners across Product, Marketing, and Sales to turn demand into teams that rely on Mural.
YOUR MISSION
You will own Mural's paid marketing end to end: the channels, the budget, and the results. Paid plays a role across the full funnel and supports the different ways Mural grows, from building early awareness to reaching people when they are ready to act. You will bring these efforts together into one connected program, lean on experimentation and measurement to learn what works, and help turn marketing investment into durable growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own strategy, budget, execution, and reporting for paid across search, paid social, and video and display, running it as one connected program across the full funnel.
- You will own Mural’s paid marketing end to end, with a focus on generating efficient growth across self-serve acquisition and sales-assisted demand. Success will be measured by the quality and volume of activated users, qualified pipeline, and revenue generated from paid investment.
- Build and run a continuous experimentation program across audiences, creative, landing pages, and offers.
- Lead agency and vendor partners to execute and scale the program.
- Partner with our Data team on attribution and measurement to connect paid spend to real outcomes.
- Partner across Marketing and Web on messaging and the post-click experience.
- Set performance targets and expand the program into new regions and languages, including EMEA and APAC.
- Support account-based and demand generation programs in close partnership with the Sales and RevOps teams.
- Use AI in your daily workflow to move faster across keyword, creative, analysis, and reporting work, with a point of view on where AI is changing paid marketing.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of hands-on B2B digital and performance marketing, owning paid search, paid social, and video or display with real budget responsibility.
- A full funnel operator comfortable across both self-serve growth and sales-assisted demand. You have owned awareness and demand creation, not only bottom funnel capture, and can show how top of funnel and account-based work pay off downstream.
- You design and read clean tests across audiences, creative, and landing pages, and you know what to do with an inconclusive result.
- Comfort living in the performance data, with hands-on fluency in SQL, product analytics, and BI tools.
- A real point of view on measurement. You know where last-click falls short and have used holdouts, incrementally, or media mix testing to judge channels that do not attribute cleanly.
- Experience running paid inside a self-serve or freemium model, with a feel for how acquisition connects to activation and retention.
- A self-starter who is motivated and scrappy, thinks through problems, and brings innovative solutions in a high-growth environment.

About The Role:
We're looking for a Lead/Head of Transaction Monitoring (Enterprise) to own how Paysend detects suspicious activity across all products, corridors and payment methods, and to lead the TM Enterprise Program that modernises it.
Objective and Key Results
Objective (Q4 2026):
AI-Powered Enterprise Financial Crime: build scalable, risk-based transaction monitoring
Enterprise clients can submit legitimate transactions with minimal friction, suspicious transactions are correctly identified and declined, unnecessary RFIs are minimised, and transaction-monitoring performance is measurable and continuously optimised.
Metrics clearly separate client-generated risk, Financial Crime controls and downstream payout execution, so TM declines are not confused with prefunding, network or technical failures, and stages reconcile without double-counting.
Key Results you will be accountable for
% Confirmed Fraud Rate of Enterprise-Initiated Transactions:
Confirmed fraud transactions divided by total enterprise-initiated transactions, broken down by client, typology, transaction type and destination, and confirmed vs. suspected fraud. Gives clients an evidence-based view of the quality of the volume they submit.
% Legitimate Transaction Straight-Through Processing Rate:
Legitimate transactions processed without an RFI divided by total legitimate transactions submitted. The central measure of balance between risk protection and customer friction.
% Enterprise TM Decision Quality:
Combines confirmed-fraud prevention rate (stopped before payout), false-positive rate, and control coverage of material enterprise TM risks by documented, approved and tested controls.
% Enterprise TM Investigation Efficiency:
Median RFI time to resolution, % resolved within SLA, % with a clear documented decision, % outstanding beyond SLA, and RFI backlog and ageing.
What you will own
KRs and Initiatives:
Own and deliver the Enterprise TM KRs and Initiatives, from definition and prioritisation through delivery, measurement and reporting to senior leadership.
TM Enterprise Program:
Lead the TM Enterprise Program end to end: scope, roadmap, milestones, budget, dependencies, risks and governance.
TM framework:
Own the enterprise-wide TM framework: scenario and rule coverage, thresholds, risk-based calibration, model governance and the rule lifecycle (design, test, tune, retire).
Effectiveness and KPIs:
Own the KPI and MI framework for detection effectiveness, alert quality, false positives, SAR/STR conversion, alert volumes, SLAs and team productivity.
Regulatory assurance:
Ensure TM meets AML/CTF and regulatory expectations across all licensed jurisdictions, and own TM readiness for audits, regulator reviews and partner due diligence.
Team leadership:
Build, lead and develop a high-performing TM team spanning analysts, rule owners and data/automation specialists.
What you'll do
Define strategy and OKRs:
Set the enterprise TM strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligned to company OKRs and Paysend's financial crime risk appetite; translate it into measurable KRs and a prioritised initiative portfolio.
Drive delivery:
Lead initiative delivery as accountable owner: run planning, steering committees and status reporting; remove blockers, manage trade-offs and escalate material risks early.
Strengthen detection:
Oversee translation of typologies, risk assessments and regulatory change into detection scenarios and rules; ensure backtesting, simulation and impact measurement happen before release.
Optimise performance:
Drive tuning using alert, case and SAR feedback to improve catch rate and reduce noise, with clear trade-off thinking across risk, cost and customer friction.
Automate and scale:
Replace manual analysis and reporting with scalable pipelines and self-serve dashboards; apply advanced analytics and ML-based anomaly detection where they add value.
Collaborate:
Partner across the business:
Product and Engineering:
requirements, data needs, TM platform and rules-engine enhancements.
Compliance and MLRO:
policy alignment, risk assessments, regulatory reporting, audits and regulator engagement.
Network and Partners:
Visa and Mastercard program requirements, thresholds and monitoring; bank and partner due diligence.
Operations and Investigations:
alert-handling workflow, feedback loops, capacity and quality.
Data and Analytics:
data quality, lineage, model validation and reporting.
Govern and report:
Run the TM governance cadence: rule-change approvals, performance reviews, documented decisions and rationale, and regular reporting to senior management and committees.
Stay ahead of regulation:
Stay current on AML/CTF regulation, FATF guidance, PSD2/SCA and card scheme rules, and embed changes into controls and the roadmap.
Manage vendors and budget:
Manage vendor, tooling and budget for TM platforms, data sources and analytics.
What you'll need
Substantial experience in transaction monitoring and AML/financial crime, ideally in fintech, payments, money transfer or high-volume B2C, including leading a TM function or a large TM transformation.
Proven track record owning OKRs/KRs and delivering multi-stream programs or initiatives, with strong planning, prioritisation and senior stakeholder management.
Deep knowledge of TM scenario and rule design, tuning, threshold calibration, model governance and effectiveness testing, including backtesting and below-the-line testing.
Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulation and expectations (e.g., FCA, EU AMLD/AMLR, FATF) and experience supporting regulator and auditor reviews across multiple jurisdictions.
Solid grasp of fraud and financial crime typologies in cross-border payments, and awareness of emerging trends.
Working knowledge of Visa and Mastercard monitoring programs and payment methods (cards, tokenization, Apple Pay, Google Pay, A2A, wallets).
Data fluency: able to interrogate SQL/BI outputs, define KPIs and challenge analytical approaches; understanding of modern data platforms and automation.
Experience leading and developing teams, including hiring, coaching and building clear ownership models.
Ownership mindset: you spot problems, propose solutions and see them through without waiting to be asked.
Clear communication and documentation, able to explain risk and data-driven decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
Nice to have
Experience with rules engines, decisioning platforms or TM vendor solutions (selection, implementation, migration).
Experience applying advanced anomaly detection (statistical, unsupervised or machine learning) to AML and fraud use cases, including model risk management.
Hands-on SQL/Python background and experience building BI dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar).
Familiarity with how financial crime operations run day to day, including case management and SAR/STR filing.
Relevant certifications such as ACAMS, ICA or equivalent.
What you'll achieve
First 3 months
Understand our products, corridors, TM framework, rules engine, data landscape and current KR/Initiative portfolio.
Assess current TM coverage, effectiveness and regulatory exposure; identify the highest-priority gaps.
Build relationships across Compliance, Product, Engineering, Network, Operations and Data.
Confirm the TM Enterprise Program plan, governance and a baselined KR scorecard.
By 6 months
Run the TM Enterprise Program on an agreed roadmap with clear ownership, milestones and steering cadence.
Launch a reliable KPI and MI suite for detection effectiveness, alert quality and team throughput.
Deliver the first material coverage and tuning improvements, with documented performance reviews.
Have the team structure and key hires in place.
By 12 months
Deliver the committed KRs and Initiatives, with measurable gains in detection effectiveness, false positive rate and operational efficiency.
Be the recognised owner of enterprise TM, with a clean audit and regulator-ready evidence trail.
Have introduced new detection approaches and automation that strengthen our compliance posture and scale with growth.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
As a Research Software Engineer on the Sandboxes team, you will design, build, and operate the platform that runs isolated environments for untrusted code at massive scale. Our work spans distributed systems, low-level virtualization, and product-minded platform design. Engineers on this team move between deep infrastructure work and understanding how researchers actually use the platform.
This is a software engineering role, not an ML research role. You do not need prior ML experience; what matters is writing clean, reliable systems code that scales. You will join a small, senior team where the wrong hire is worse than no hire.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design, build, and operate the sandboxing platform that runs untrusted code at scale across multiple Kubernetes clusters, from our own bare metal data centers to hyperscalers.
- Develop the sandbox runtime leveraging Firecracker, enabling fast startup, snapshotting, and efficient scheduling without blocking expensive hardware.
- Obsess over performance and latency optimisation allowing us to reach millions of concurrent sandboxes.
- Write robust, well-tested systems code in Rust and Python; review code, CI/CD, and observability across the platform.
- Own cross-cluster networking, security boundaries, isolation guarantees and monitoring for suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with researchers and ML engineers who use sandboxes for synthetic data generation and RL training, turning their needs into platform features.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A strong background in software engineering and distributed systems, with experience building and operating large-scale infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in at least one of: Kubernetes and cluster operations, cross-cluster networking, observability, or low-level virtualization.
- Fluency in Python or Rust; comfortable writing systems code where performance and security matter.
- Strong software-design instincts: modular code, testing, CI/CD, observability, and a bias for reliability.
- A self-starter who learns fast. Core skills matter more than specific tools — we value meta-learning ability and motivation highly.
- Low-ego, collaborative, and comfortable with ambiguity in a small, high-ownership team.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience with Firecracker, microVMs, or similar virtualization technologies.
- Product-mindedness: understanding of how sandboxes are used for synthetic data generation or RL training.
- Experience with GPU clusters, CUDA, or ML workloads.
- Prior SRE or platform engineering experience at scale.
- Open-source contributions or widely used internal tools.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a SDK Engineer - Python to join our SDK team and own how developers talk to Supabase from Python. You'll work closely with the rest of the SDK team, our Auth, Realtime, Storage, PostgREST, Functions, CLI and Docs teams, and the open-source community, helping us make the Python SDK a library Python developers genuinely enjoy using.
Python developers reach Supabase from backend services, data pipelines, notebooks, and a growing number of AI agents and agent frameworks. The Python SDK is how all of them talk to the platform: database queries, auth, storage, realtime and edge functions, in both sync and async flavors.
This is a library-authoring role, and the work happens in the open: public repos, public issue trackers, and API decisions whose consequences last for years. If you get satisfaction from a type checker that catches the bug before your users do, from an async client that cleans up after itself, and from an issue tracker that isn't a graveyard, you'll like it here.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments and is excited about building developer tools that scale to millions.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Build and evolve our Python SDK across database, auth, storage, realtime and functions, with both sync and async APIs that feel natural in Python.
- Start new things. Alongside the maintenance work, find what's missing, make the case for it, and build it. Nobody will hand you the list.
- Work in the open. Triage inbound issues, review and shepherd outside contributions, keep CI and release automation healthy, and hold a clear, kind line on scope.
- Own the typing experience. Make the SDK fully typed and checker-friendly, so autocomplete and static analysis stay correct in real codebases.
- Keep us honest across environments. Multiple Python versions, sync and async frameworks, workers, serverless and notebooks — with dependency ranges that don't fight our users' projects. Test it, don't assume it.
- Work on realtime. Long-lived websocket connections, reconnection, and subscription and presence semantics.
- Track the platform. When auth, realtime, storage, postgrest or edge functions ship a change, make sure the SDK reflects it, and that we say so in the changelog.
- Design in public. Write the RFCs, migration guides, release notes and docs. Treat a breaking change as a deprecation path plus a migration story, not a version bump.
- Make our SDK legible to AI coding agents, which are now a major consumer of it.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Know modern Python typing deeply. You use generics, protocols, overloads and TypedDict as design tools, run strict type checking, and fix type errors without reaching for Any.
- Have authored or maintained a published library with a public API and users outside your own company. You know what it costs to change something people depend on.
- Know the maintainer side of open source. Issue triage at volume, reviewing outside PRs, release automation, changelogs and semver, security reports, and saying no to a feature request without losing the person who asked.
- Are fluent in asyncio and have opinions on how a library should serve both sync and async callers.
- Know Python packaging for libraries: pyproject.toml, wheels, modern tooling, version support policy, and why libraries shouldn't pin their dependencies tightly.
- Test as a habit: unit, type-level and end-to-end against a real stack. Every fix comes with a regression test.
- Write well. Design docs, changelogs and issue replies are a large part of the output here, much of it public, and we're async by default.
- Have real autonomy: you find the important work, scope it, ship it, and say what you didn't do.
- Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Have experience in async or globally distributed teams
- Are energized by solving real-world problems for developers
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly
Bonus points if you: have run a major-version migration for a public package, know your way around JWT/OAuth, have built integrations for AI agent frameworks, or have generated idiomatic clients from a schema.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits

- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.
