An overview of this role
As a New Business Solutions Architect, you’ll be a trusted advisor to GitLab prospects in the EMEA region, helping them understand how GitLab’s DevSecOps platform addresses both technical requirements and business objectives across the entire software development lifecycle. You’ll guide organizations through their digital transformation journeys, from planning through monitoring, using your technical expertise, understanding of cloud and modern software development practices, and strong customer empathy. Reporting to a regional Solutions Architect manager and partnering closely with New Business Account Executives and cross-functional teams, you’ll own technical evaluations (including proof of value initiatives and workshops), shape solution architectures, and serve as the voice of the customer back to Product Management. In your first year, you’ll focus on driving successful platform adoption, influencing revenue growth through solution selling, and building long-term, trust-based relationships that showcase GitLab’s differentiated position in an AI-driven DevSecOps landscape.
What you’ll do
Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation (including proofs of value) to show how GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customers’ technical and business needs across the full lifecycle.
Drive the technical evaluation process as the Directly Responsible Individual, including solution design, POC/POV ownership, workshop design, and the technical components of tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
Collaborate with New Business Account Executives and regional sales teams in EMEA to shape and execute account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion.
Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guiding them through GitLab-driven digital transformation and enabling them to become GitLab advocates.
Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices, challenging existing approaches to improve return on investment.
Serve as the voice of the customer with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing by sharing feedback, use cases, and competitive insights that inform roadmap and positioning.
Maintain and extend your technical expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and related cloud technologies, creating reusable examples, best practice guidance, and technical collateral for customers and partners.
Invest in your own growth and development through ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to continuously improve the impact of the Solutions Architect team.
What you’ll bring
Experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and evaluation.
Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows.
Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms, and the ability to map platform capabilities to customer use cases.
Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies, with the ability to discuss deployment, security, and operations options with technical teams.
Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments.
Clear technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messages for practitioners through to senior business and technical decision makers.
Skill in building trusted relationships, listening with empathy, and acting as a customer advocate to internal teams such as Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
Motivation to continuously develop professionally, including learning new technologies, deepening GitLab platform expertise, and applying transferable experience from related fields.
About the team
We, the Solutions Architect team, are part of GitLab’s Sales organization and serve as the technical counterpart to Account Executives, with this role focused on opportunities and reporting into a regional Solutions Architect Manager. Our mission is to help customers realize the full value of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform by advising on architecture, running technical evaluations such as proofs of value, and guiding customers through their digital transformation. We work closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, collaborating asynchronously across regions to share best practices, create reusable technical collateral, and act as the voice of the customer. We are focused on helping customers modernize end-to-end software delivery, adopt GitLab at scale, and navigate a rapidly evolving AI and DevSecOps landscape.

About the role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, implement, and evolve product capabilities while solving high-scope backend problems and influencing the technical and product direction of our teams. You will move beyond "assigned work" to actively improve the quality, reliability, and performance of our systems. You will work across product, frontend, infrastructure, data, and security boundaries, making sound architectural trade-offs, communicating complex ideas clearly in an asynchronous environment, and helping define the standards for a high-scale, global product.
Why you’ll love this role
High Impact:
You aren't just shipping features; you are shaping the architecture of a global platform used by millions.
Technical Agency:
You will influence team objectives, technical direction, and long-range goals, helping us solve problems of high scope and complexity.
Innovative Culture:
You will get to experiment with and integrate agentic AI into production engineering workflows, moving beyond simple prompt engineering to build resilient, AI-assisted systems.
Autonomy:
You will thrive in our remote-first, asynchronous organization, where clear written communication and self-direction are the pillars of success.
User-Centric Collaboration:
You’ll partner closely with PMs and designers to shape requirements, ensuring every technical decision delivers genuine value to our users.
What you’ll do
Drive Technical Direction:
Design and ship moderate to complex backend features with minimal guidance, making pragmatic choices between modular-monolith code, shared components, or independently operated services.
Raise the Bar:
Advocate for product quality, security, availability, and performance. You will define backend standards for style, maintainability, testing, APIs, and operational readiness.
Mentor & Lead:
Mentor associate and intermediate engineers, remove technical blockers, and improve team delivery practices through code and design reviews.
Operational Excellence:
Diagnose and prevent performance/reliability issues at scale. Participate in incident response and act as a technical owner where appropriate.
AI Integration:
Use AI in production engineering work to improve outcomes, evaluate its effectiveness, and coach others on responsible, high-judgment use.
What you’ll bring
Deep Backend Expertise:
A strong command of backend architecture, APIs, data systems, and performance tuning in a complex product or service environment.
Adaptability:
Proficiency in modern backend languages and a deep understanding of systems programming. We value the ability to learn and adapt over mastery of a single language.
Architectural Judgment:
Experience designing or evolving modular backend boundaries, bounded contexts, and migration-safe architectures.
Influence:
Ability to lead through influence, technical judgment, and clear written communication, effectively bridging the gap between product needs and technical reality.
Agentic AI Expertise:
Proven experience building or operating agentic systems in production—moving beyond prompt engineering to architecting loops, tool-use, and error-handling strategies that ensure reliability at scale.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp already serves thousands of organizations in industries where financial operations work differently: construction companies that manage spend by job and cost code, nonprofits that report by fund and grant, and public-sector organizations accountable for every taxpayer dollar.
We are hiring a Lead Product Marketing Manager, Verticals to turn those differences into a durable growth advantage.
You will own Ramp's vertical GTM operating model, beginning with Construction / A&E and Nonprofits / Public Sector. You will decide where Ramp should invest, become the resident expert on how finance works in those markets, influence the product roadmap, and build the cross-product narratives and motions that help Ramp win.
This is not a content-only, campaign-only, or sales-enablement role. You will own the full vertical business read: market choice, ICP, product readiness, positioning, pipeline, win rate, activation, adoption, attach, campaign performance, and the next product or GTM intervention.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set the vertical portfolio strategy. Build the business cases, opportunity sizing, segmentation, and priority order that determine where Ramp invests and where it does not.
- Own the vertical business number. Define the scorecard for each priority vertical: pipeline, win rate, attach, workflow adoption, product activation, channel performance, and customer proof.
- Become the market expert. Understand the financial workflows, buying dynamics, regulatory requirements, technology ecosystems, and competitive landscape of each priority industry.
- Influence the product roadmap. Translate market evidence into clear product requirements and help Product distinguish table stakes from differentiators.
- Build industry-specific, cross-product narratives. Package Ramp's cards, expenses, accounts payable, procurement, banking, treasury, travel, and accounting automation around the jobs each vertical needs to get done.
- Own GTM strategy end to end. Define the ICP, audience, positioning, claims, proof, channel strategy, launch plan, sales motion, and adoption plan for each priority vertical.
- Lead market-facing programs. Represent Ramp in the industry through webinars, customer sessions, partner moments, field events, advisory groups, and executive conversations where domain credibility matters.
- Make Sales better at winning. Build workflow-based pitch narratives, sales plays, proof, competitive guidance, and demos that help sellers lead with the customer's industry problem instead of a list of Ramp products.
- Run the operating cadence. Bring Product, Growth, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Finance into one readout: what is moving, what is stuck, what we learned, and what changes next.
- Build the customer and partner feedback loop. Develop trusted relationships with finance leaders, operators, ERP and implementation partners, associations, and sellers closest to the market.
- Create the verticalization playbook. Build a repeatable method for taking a vertical from market signal to product requirements, GTM package, measurable growth motion, and scaled investment.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 7+ years of experience in B2B software marketing, product marketing, industry marketing, growth, sales strategy, or another strategic GTM function, including significant ownership of product or industry outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience building GTM strategy for a specific industry or workflow-heavy market. You should arrive with a strong point of view on verticalization.
- Deep familiarity with at least one of the following: Construction or A&E software, accounting and ERP workflows, nonprofits, public sector, procurement, accounts payable, or financial operations.
- A record of influencing product strategy using customer, competitive, market, and funnel evidence.
- Experience owning integrated B2B campaigns from audience definition and brief through execution, measurement, and iteration.
- Strong data literacy. You can interpret pipeline, conversion, win rate, attach, adoption, and channel performance and turn the findings into a decision.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can produce a business case for executives, a product narrative for the market, and a sales play that works in a customer meeting.
- Proven ability to lead senior partners across Product, Growth, Sales, Partnerships, Communications, and Marketing without relying on formal authority.
- High agency and comfort with ambiguity. You build the first version, test it with customers, and improve it quickly.
- Fluency with AI tools as part of your everyday research, analysis, writing, and operating workflows.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience at a vertical SaaS company serving construction, accounting, nonprofits, government, or another operationally complex industry.
- Direct experience with construction ERPs or accounting platforms such as Sage, Trimble, Acumatica, Deltek, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Intacct.
- Experience marketing a multi-product platform rather than a single point solution.
- Existing relationships with finance leaders, industry operators, implementation partners, associations, or technology partners in a priority vertical.
- Experience building a new PMM or industry-marketing function from the ground up.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
Who we want
This is a role for someone who wants to work on a hard problem, deliver real impact and be pushed to be the best version of themselves. As a Provider Sales VP, you’ll be embedded in Provider Partnerships and report directly to the SVP of Provider.
You will own Garner's provider segment at its most senior level, as a quota-carrying seller responsible for the marquee health-system and enterprise relationships that define this category for us. You will help set the segment's go-to-market approach, from sub-segments to pursue, to lead generation, to closing strategy. This is a seat for someone who has built a selling book from limited infrastructure before and wants to do it again with a genuinely differentiated product and dataset behind them.
What you will do
Own the provider segment end to end, from go-to-market strategy through close, carrying an individual quota against your assigned budget.
Land and expand marquee health-system and enterprise logos, opening executive-level doors up to health-system CEO.
Run a data-driven sales motion at the most senior level: connect Garner's data to a buyer's top strategic priorities.
Lead complex, committee-driven negotiations to close, holding momentum and goodwill across long cycles and multiple veto-holding approvers.
Establish the repeatable playbook the segment adopts: messaging, target-account strategy, and objection handling grounded in healthcare economics and provider risk.
Partner with Product, Sales leadership, and Account Management, and build the feedback loop that turns market signal into roadmap and pricing change.
Build full fluency across Garner's product suite and match the right product angle to each buyer.
What we're looking for
8 or more years in fast paced selling environment carrying and consistently exceeding individual quote
Experience owning a new-market motion end to end: building a segment from limited infrastructure and landing marquee logos
Experience selling into into hospitals, health systems, or other healthcare provider organizations is preferred; if not, experience selling in other complex B2B SaaS environments
A track record of closing through multi-stakeholder, committee-driven buying processes, where clinical, analytics, finance, legal, and administrative approvers each hold an effective veto.
Command of the room with senior buyers up to the CEO: you build trust fast, go head to head on strategy, and secure buy-in for a high-consideration purchase.
Data fluency built by repeatedly entering new or ambiguous markets and learning the methodology deeply.
Repeatable plays for reviving stalled pipeline, applied across a book rather than one deal at a time.
Comfort selling while product, pricing, and positioning are still evolving.
The instinct to build an internal operating rhythm: who to pull in when, plus a feedback loop into product and pricing.
A desire to do work that matters: and to be held to a high standard while doing it. You're energized by a mission with measurable outcomes, not just good intentions. You engage with AI tools as part of how you do your best work, and hold yourself accountable to outcomes that matter beyond your team’s metrics.
What you’ll get here
You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform, where the problems we solve are as interesting and compelling as the mission.
At Garner, you’ll take on real, ambitious problems with real ownership and autonomy, alongside exceptional, principles-based people who genuinely want you to win. It’s demanding by design. You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career. This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. The people here are driven by what's at stake for real people, and that's what gives our intensity its purpose.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.

An overview of this role
As a Senior CX Platform Engineer, you'll help GitLab's Customer Experience (CX) teams hand real work to artificial intelligence (AI). You'll use Claude Code and GitLab Duo Agent Platform as your default development tools, designing agentic workflows and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers with production testing, security, and shared ownership. This is a software engineering role, not ticket-taking internal IT, AI evangelism disconnected from shipped code, or customer-billable Professional Services delivery.
What you'll do
Use Claude Code, GitLab Duo, and other coding agents as your primary development environment for planning, implementation, refactoring, testing, reviews, and documentation. Run multiple agents in parallel on well-scoped tasks, critically review their output, and own every line that reaches production.
Build and maintain the team's agent harness, including shared AGENTS.md conventions, skills, slash commands, hooks, subagent definitions, and continuous integration checks. Measure and share what works, publish reusable patterns, and retire those that don't.
Ship agents and multi-step workflows for account research, success planning, scoping, status reporting, and customer onboarding. Package them as skills and plugins for non-engineers using Claude, Claude in Slack, and GitLab Duo Agent Platform.
Build MCP servers and connectors for governed access to GitLab, Salesforce, Gainsight, Kantata, Thought Industries, Gong, Snowflake, and other enterprise systems. Add evaluations, tracing, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints to keep internal and customer-facing agents measurable, auditable, and safe with customer data.
Evolve the CX Application Platform's gateway, Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, including Elastic Container Service (ECS), Relational Database Service (RDS), and Lambda, Terraform configuration, application scaffold, and deployment path. Own applications such as PS Compass, Congregate, and GitLab University and its integrations, documenting build-versus-buy and consolidate-or-sunset decisions.
Ship production-quality Python and TypeScript through GitLab continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), with tests, observability, security review, and runbooks. Design every application for handoff, with documentation, monitoring, and shared ownership.
Prototype with Customer Success, Digital Success, Professional Services, Education Services, and Training in days, not quarters. Help CX team members bring their own applications to production, and turn field learning into reusable reference implementations, development paths, and enablement.
Contribute upstream to GitLab and share product feedback with Product and Engineering. Mentor engineers and non-engineers on agentic development and raise the team's code review bar.
What you'll bring
Experience building and operating production software, owning multi-quarter work from ambiguity to production, choosing reusable platform solutions over one-off customization where appropriate, and designing for handoff.
Daily, hands-on use of coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitLab Duo, or similar on production work. You can show how they've changed what you ship and how you maintain quality.
Experience building with large language models (LLMs) beyond chat, including tool use, MCP servers, agent loops, context and retrieval design, prompt and workflow design, and evaluations.
Strong Python skills with FastAPI or Flask and TypeScript skills with Vue or React, including application programming interface (API) design, authentication, authorization, and secure handling of customer and business data.
Hands-on experience with AWS ECS, RDS, and Lambda, Terraform, Docker, and applications running behind single sign-on (SSO), such as Okta.
Experience integrating enterprise systems through Representational State Transfer (REST) and GraphQL APIs, and fluency with Git, merge requests, and CI/CD.
Experience translating non-engineering stakeholders' workflows into technical plans and writing clear asynchronous design documents, decision records, and enablement materials. You align with GitLab's values and are willing to use GitLab for your own work.
Optional experience includes agent harness customization; the GitLab Development Kit, Duo Agent Platform custom agents and flows, or AI Catalog publishing; enterprise agent governance and data controls; customer success, professional services, or learning platforms such as Salesforce, Gainsight, Kantata, or Thought Industries; professional services economics and customer success metrics; Snowflake or similar warehouses; and technical writing, talks, or open source contributions on agentic development.
We welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; you don't need to meet every nice-to-have to apply.
About the team
CX Platform Engineering builds and runs CX Applications for Customer Success, Digital Success, Professional Services, Education Services, and Training. We own the CX Application Platform's gateway and infrastructure alongside our application portfolio: GitLab University, the Foundational Onboarding Agent in GitLab Duo Agent Platform, Congregate, PS Compass, and Customer Wins. We build the first version with the people doing the work, turn what we learn into a reusable pattern, then hand it off so it runs without us. We reward leverage, not heroics, and don't leave tools dependent on one person.

It wins the most complex opportunities, scales product expertise into the Account SA team, and turns field insight into product direction.
This is a leader of leaders role. You will manage three regional SME Managers, not individual contributors, and develop them as leaders in their own right. The SME organization is new, so we are looking for a transformational leader who thrives in ambiguity, builds structure where none exists, and has a track record of standing up high-performing technical teams in fast-growing, evolving businesses.
You will work as a peer to GitLab's regional Solutions Architecture Senior Directors and partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Product Marketing and Sales Operations. Together you will make sure GitLab brings the right depth to the right opportunities, and that what the field learns shapes what GitLab builds next.
What you'll do
Set the strategy, operating model and global standards for the SME organization, aligned to the VP Global SA and GitLab's go-to-market plan.
Build the resourcing model from product-level bookings and consumption targets. Size each product group by region based on where the plan needs specialist coverage.
Act as the field's senior partner to Product Management and Engineering. Run a structured feedback loop that shapes roadmap, launch readiness and early-access programs.
Hire, mentor and develop regional SME Managers and, through them, the full global team.
Own the engagement model with the regional SA Senior Directors, Post-Sales SAs and Customer Success: triage rules, coverage thresholds, the closed-won handoff to Post-Sales SAs, and escalation paths.
Create and improve upon the processes, metrics and KPIs for SME-led technical evaluations, workshops, demos and Proofs of Value.
Partner with CRO staff, regional sales leaders and AVPs on product-category performance, forecast risk and competitive strategy.
Partner with Enablement to drive field readiness for new product launches with Product Marketing and Enablement, including Duo Agent Platform, security and platform offerings.
Build strong relationships with key customers at the technical sponsor and executive level.
Use AI to change how the team works, including deal research, demo creation, PoV automation and knowledge sharing.
Drive organizational transformation by finding gaps early, building structure where none exists, and leading change without waiting for top-down direction.
What you'll bring
5+ years second-line leadership experience (managing managers) in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering or a technical specialist organization.
Experience building or scaling a specialist, overlay or global SA team in enterprise SaaS, DevSecOps, security or developer tools.
A record of tying technical-team design to bookings and consumption outcomes, with the data to show it.
The ability to lead through ambiguity and rapid organizational change, bringing clarity and direction while strategy is still forming.
Strong relationships with Product and Engineering leaders, and a history of shaping roadmap from field insight.
Fluency across the software development lifecycle, application security (SAST, DAST, SCA), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes and AI-assisted development, including LLM evaluation and production deployment patterns.
Executive presence with technical practitioners, managers and C-level stakeholders.
Proven ability to partner across Sales, Partners, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success and Professional Services.
A self-starting, entrepreneurial approach. You don't wait for a playbook; you write it.
How you'll be measured
Global product-category commit attainment and consumption growth.
Time from technical win to first workload in customer’s production environment on SME-engaged opportunities compared with non-engaged opportunities.
SME coverage and engagement speed on the top 10% of opportunities.
Account Team capability lift: fewer escalations and more deals handled without an SME over time.
Product impact: field sentiment on the product feedback process along with field-sourced requirements adopted into the roadmap.
Team health: hiring against plan, manager development, engagement and retention.

About the role:

Manage and support our compliance certifications, including SOC 2, HITRUST, and ISO 27001 audits and run control testing across the audit lifecycle
Serve as the subject matter expert across the company on our compliance frameworks
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and assessors
Manage Garner’s Security and Privacy trust center
Maintain the risk register and drive risk identification, scoring, and reporting
Manage the maintenance of our compliance policies, standards, and procedures
Report on our compliance posture to senior leadership
Scale our GRC function with AI and automation, building quick wins and scoping requirements for Engineering to fully automate the rest
What you will bring to the team:
5+ years of experience in GRC, IT audit, or information security compliance
Prior experience with HITRUST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 audits
Hands-on experience with control design, evidence collection, and remediation in a cloud-native engineering environment
Proven ability to adapt your communication style across engineers, operators, and executives
A GRC Engineering mindset with prior experience using scripting and LLMs to automate repetitive tasks
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
Industry certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor preferred
