As Customer Success Lead at Perplexity, you’ll lead the team responsible for helping enterprises adopt Perplexity Computer and our API products, turning adoption into measurable business value. You’ll own the customer success strategy and operating model, lead CSMs across customer segments, and be accountable for gross and net revenue retention across the post-sale book, with expansion targets shared with Sales.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll stay close to customers and the product while building the team, programs, and cross-functional partnerships that help us scale.
Responsibilities
- Own gross and net revenue retention for the customer base, including renewal forecasting, risk management, and expansion targets shared with Sales
- Set the customer success strategy, and coverage model across high-touch Enterprise, scaled SMB and Mid-Market, and technical API customers
- Hire, coach, and develop CSMs across customer segments, establishing a regular cadence of 1:1s, account and renewal reviews, and a clear bar for performance and product expertise
- Build the playbooks the team runs on, including Sales-to-CS handoffs, onboarding, customer success plans, health scoring, executive business reviews, and escalations
- Partner with Applied AI and Enablement to build onboarding, workshops, champion programs, and scaled education that help customers reach first value and sustain adoption
- Help customers connect adoption and consumption to business outcomes, understand usage and cost trade-offs, and build a clear case for renewal and expansion
- Partner with Sales to identify self-serve customers ready to move to Enterprise and to plan expansion in named accounts
- Work with RevOps and Finance on capacity planning, account assignment, book-of-business design, and accurate reporting in Salesforce
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive customer journey, with clear ownership and handoffs from onboarding through adoption, renewal, and expansion
- Coordinate customer readiness and communications for product launches, migrations, pricing and usage changes, and incidents, partnering with Product, Marketing, Support, and Engineering on accurate guidance
- Bring customer needs and recurring friction into product planning, and close the loop with customers on decisions and progress
- Engage executive sponsors at our largest accounts and step in personally on strategic adoption efforts, high-stakes renewals, and escalations while building the team’s ability to own day-to-day execution
You may be a good fit if
- You have 10+ years in customer success, account management, or post-sales roles at enterprise software companies
- You have 5+ years leading CS teams, with a track record of hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing CSMs
- You’ve owned GRR and NRR targets and can show how your team moved them
- You’ve built or rebuilt a CS function during rapid growth, not only run an established one
- You’ve run both high-touch and scaled or digital coverage models and know when each one fits
- You can show how your team helped customers move from initial onboarding to sustained adoption and measurable business outcomes
- You’re comfortable with usage and consumption data, and ideally have supported usage-based or API products
- You have strong command of Salesforce, forecasting, and customer health tooling
- You’re hands-on with AI products and can build enough product fluency to understand customer workflows, diagnose adoption barriers, and earn trust with business and technical stakeholders
- You communicate clearly with executive buyers, administrators, and technical teams, including during sensitive product changes or escalations
- You’re comfortable operating without an established playbook, using AI and automation where they improve execution and knowing where human judgment matters

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Business Systems Engineer to own the systems that turn a signed deal into a correct invoice and accurate revenue numbers. You’ll work across our go-to-market and finance stack: CRM, quoting and CPQ, billing, the data warehouse, and the integrations between them. Salesforce is one important part of that stack, not the whole job. This is an engineering role with business ownership: you’ll design how data and money move between Sales, Finance, Billing Ops, and Data teams, build the automation that keeps them in sync, and use AI to remove manual work and surface timely signals to reps and operators. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Billing Ops, Revenue Accounting, and Data Engineering.
This role is based in one of San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE
- The big bet: Create a reliable GTM and quote-to-cash foundation across CRM, CPQ, billing and finance systems, marketing automation infrastructure, the data warehouse, and the integrations between them.
- By day 90, build a clear understanding of the critical data flows between GTM systems, finance systems, and the warehouse, then ship an initial improvement to a high-value integration or workflow.
- By day 90, develop AI-powered and agent-based workflows that reduce manual work for reps, Deal Desk, and Billing Ops while improving the quality of signals available to reps and operators.
- By the end of your first year, automate billing-critical workflows such as upgrades and prorated refunds, early renewals, true-ups, and credit deferment, with audit trails Finance can trust.
- By the end of your first year, improve data integrity and reporting through clear data models, deduplication, validation rules, reconciliation, and monitoring—including accurate ARR, pipeline, dashboard, and forecasting infrastructure.
- Raise the bar for how the team ships and operates: sound access, change management, and release practices; thoughtful documentation and tool decisions; reusable tests, runbooks, code review, and AI-assisted development practices.
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
- Demonstrated experience in business systems engineering, GTM engineering, revenue operations, or a technical sales or marketing operations role, with the ability to own problems end to end and work effectively across functions.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with a data warehouse such as Snowflake or BigQuery; you design for clean, traceable data and understand how to protect its integrity across systems.
- Experience building integrations with APIs, webhooks, event-driven services, reverse ETL, or automation platforms such as Zapier, Workato, or Tray.io http://Tray.io. Scripting in Python or JavaScript, or building serverless integrations, is a plus.
- Familiarity with finance systems and concepts such as quote-to-cash, billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition, and the ability to work effectively with Finance and Billing Ops. Experience with an ERP such as NetSuite is a plus.
- Hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce automation, following the team’s development and release practices: source control, pull requests, code review, automated testing, and the deployment pipeline - is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or a similar CPQ tool — including product and pricing data models, price books, bundles, and approval rules — is a plus.
- Genuine curiosity about AI, with experience applying it to day-to-day work through AI-assisted development, agents, or workflow automation. Familiarity with Salesforce administration and customization—including objects, flows, permissions, and integrations—is a plus, not a requirement.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Contract Administration

The Qualities That Set You Apart
Obsessively Detail-Oriented
— You catch what others miss, own your deadlines without reminders, and feel uncomfortable when records are incomplete or out of date.
Structured & Process-Driven
— You build systems where there are none, document everything, and make recurring work progressively more efficient.
Legally Literate
— You’re comfortable reading corporate consents, governance documents, and agreements, and you have a sense for when something doesn’t tie.
Proactive Communicator
— You flag issues early, keep stakeholders informed, and coordinate effectively across Legal, Finance, and outside counsel without needing to be prompted.
AI-Forward
— You actively look for ways to use AI and automation tools to reduce manual work and improve the quality and speed of your output.
Your Background
3+ years of experience in corporate governance, paralegal, corporate secretary, legal ops, or equity administration.
Working knowledge of multi-jurisdictional entity management, including Delaware filings and international subsidiary structures.
Professional-level English, written and spoken.
Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of deadline ownership.
Carta, DocuSign, or Brightflag experience is a strong plus.

About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
As a Senior IT Engineer on the IT Engineering team, you’ll shape how identity and access work across 1Password. You’ll lead Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives, improve our Okta environment, and help expand Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled workflows across IT. Your work will make secure access simpler and more reliable, helping advance 1Password’s mission to create a safer, simpler digital future for everyone.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
• Bring substantial experience in a technical IT role, including experience in IT engineering or systems administration.
• Administer Okta or a comparable Identity Provider (IdP), such as Microsoft Entra ID, in a production environment.
• Apply identity protocols including Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), OpenID Connect (OIDC), and System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) to connect applications.
• Build integrations and automation using Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Use infrastructure or configuration as code with Git-based workflows, including pull requests and code review.
• Demonstrate experience applying AI to accelerate or replace team workflows, while managing project timelines, risks, stakeholder communication, and organizational change.
• Bring experience managing an IdP with Terraform, using 1Password Enterprise and Device Trust, or supporting Service Organization Control 2 (SOC 2), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), or ISO 27001 audits.
What you can expect:
• Operate and improve Okta, including tenant configuration, policies, lifecycle management, and complex identity issues.
• Lead IAM initiatives from concept through rollout, including role-based access control, access reviews, and onboarding and offboarding automation.
• Build safeguards that make identity and access changes safer to deploy and easier to audit.
• Design durable application integrations using SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and custom API work where needed.
• Simplify access requests and employee lifecycle processes so secure workflows are also efficient workflows.
• Partner with IT, Security, and Device Infrastructure teams to plan rollouts, manage risk, establish identity practices, and support audit and compliance work.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and provide clear guidance on identity and access questions across 1Password.

If you’re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you’ll feel right at home here.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
What we're looking for:
- 4+ years experience selling to Fortune 1000 organizations and high growth companies spanning 500+ employees, with 1+ year of substantial cybersecurity sales experience.
- A consistent record of exceeding $1M+ annual quotas, including experience carrying quotas in the $1M-2M range and closing complex, multi-product opportunities.
- Multiple years of elite sales performance and company recognition, such as President’s Club or equivalent top-performer awards.
- Demonstrated success selling enterprise platforms and multi-product solutions, and not just transactional or stand-alone point products.
- Clear methodology for maintaining 2.5x pipeline coverage at all times through territory tiering, account planning, outreach cadence, and cold calling efforts.
- Experience selling identity, Zero Trust, cloud security, endpoint security, privileged access, developer security, or adjacent cybersecurity platforms.
- Proven ability to engage IAM, IT security, DevOps, platform engineering, and engineering leaders and connect their technical priorities to an executive business case.
- A record of winning net-new strategic logos and expanding existing accounts through cross-sell, upsell, and multi-year platform agreements.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate credibly with C-suite leaders and deeply technical audiences.
- Rigorous account planning, pipeline creation, opportunity management, forecasting, and negotiation skills.
Bonus points for:
- You lead with curiosity and strong discovery, uncovering the broader security and business problem rather than stopping at the initial product request.
- You create a compelling platform narrative while keeping the customer’s priorities, maturity, and path to value at the center.
- You combine strategic thinking with operating rigor; your account plans, pipeline, forecasts, and close plans are current, specific, and dependable.
- You are resilient, accountable, collaborative, and motivated by ambitious targets and complex opportunities.
- You hunt daily for new opportunities and consistently hit pipeline generation targets.
- You leverage AI daily to expedite your administrative work and identify strategic opportunities across your book.
- You are coachable, apply feedback quickly, and continuously improve your craft.
- You thrive in a remote, field-based environment and prioritize meaningful in-person customer engagement.
What you can expect:
Own and grow a strategic commercial territory
- Develop and execute sophisticated account and territory plans for a focused portfolio of high-value prospects and customers.
- Create new executive relationships with CISOs, CIOs, identity leaders, security architects, and other senior technology buyers to accelerate access and credibility.
- Identify whitespace, competitive displacement opportunities, and compelling events across identity security, AI adoption, privileged access, SaaS governance, developer workflows, and device security.
- Build and maintain the pipeline coverage, account engagement, and deal velocity required to consistently achieve or exceed a significant annual quota.
- Cultivate relationships in the channel through innovative account mapping techniques and in-person co-selling opportunities.
Sell the full platform story
- Elevate conversations from an individual point-product need to a strategic Unified Access vision spanning people, AI agents, and machines.
- Connect 1Password’s capabilities to measurable outcomes, including reducing credential and access risk, eliminating standing privilege, governing SaaS and shadow AI, protecting developer and machine workflows, strengthening device trust, and improving auditability.
- Land with the customer’s most urgent use case, then build an executive-backed roadmap for adoption and expansion across Enterprise Password Manager, SaaS Manager, Credential Broker, Device Trust, and Privileged Access.
- Translate complex identity, access, cloud, endpoint, developer, and AI-security concepts into clear business value for executive and deeply technical audiences.
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Orchestrate 4-6 month sales cycles involving security, IAM, IT, DevOps, platform engineering, application engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and executive sponsors.
- Build consensus across large buying groups and establish clear business, technical, economic, and decision criteria.
- Lead executive presentations, discovery sessions, workshops, business-value assessments, commercial negotiations, and close plans.
- Create and maintain mutual action plans and apply MEDDPPICC or a comparable enterprise qualification methodology with discipline.
- Structure and negotiate complex, multi-year, multi-product agreements, org-wide solutions with material ARR and platform expansion potential.
Expand strategic customer relationships
- Build broad, durable relationships throughout customer organizations rather than relying on a single champion.
- Uncover business and security priorities beyond the initial use case and turn them into platform expansion opportunities.
- Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, product specialists, and services teams to create adoption and expansion plans tied to measurable outcomes.
Operate as one team
- Collaborate closely with BDR, Solutions Engineering, Channels, Alliances, Customer Success, Onboarding, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Deal Desk.
- Co-sell with strategic partners, cloud alliances, channel teams, and systems integrators where they can expand reach or accelerate a decision.
- Represent 1Password at executive briefings, customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Maintain accurate opportunity data, next steps, forecasts, and account plans in Salesforce.
- Use AI and modern selling tools thoughtfully to improve research, preparation, coaching, and execution while creating more time for customer engagement.
How you work:
- Knowledge of identity and access management, privileged access management, credential security, machine identities, agentic AI security, SaaS governance, device trust, or secrets management.
- Experience competing and winning against major enterprise identity and cybersecurity platform providers.
- Proficiency with MEDDPPICC, Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and AI-enabled sales tools.
- Demonstrated ownership of full cycle sales from initial cold outbound to close to expansion.
- Experience developing opportunities through channel partners, cloud alliances, systems integrators, or technology partners.

An overview of this role
As a Senior Executive Assistant in GitLab's Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) organization, you'll support the VP, Global Solution Architects and the VP, High Velocity Sales & Sales Development. You'll help both leaders stay focused on delivering customer value by managing shifting priorities, anticipating logistical needs, and following through on commitments. In your first year, you'll build trusted relationships and establish reliable processes for scheduling, meeting preparation, travel, events, recruiting coordination, and expenses. This is a partnership that goes beyond calendar management: you'll participate in team discussions, identify next steps, and keep both leaders informed as work moves forward.
This role is US-based, with a preference for Central or Eastern time zones. Candidates in Pacific time are also welcome, with flexibility to support leaders and teams across global time zones.
What You’ll Do
Own complex, high-volume calendars across multiple time zones for both VPs, adapting to changes and advising on prioritization, delegation, and time management.
Prepare recurring leadership meetings and all-hands, coordinate agendas and presentation materials, confirm attendance, and participate in team calls to identify and follow through on action items.
Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, ground transportation, lodging, security needs, and documentation; anticipate disruptions and arrange alternatives when plans change.
Plan and execute off-sites, team-building activities, and company kickoffs, coordinating with event partners and confirming reservations, deposits, and logistics through completion.
Partner with Recruiting and hiring teams on interviews, candidate communication, and onboarding logistics.
Prepare accurate monthly expense reports for both leaders, including receipt collection and reconciliation.
Use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to streamline research, drafting, and recurring administrative work, checking outputs for accuracy, context, and usefulness rather than relying on automated summaries alone.
Provide temporary coverage for other executive support partners and lead special projects and ad hoc requests across the CRO organization.
What You’ll Bring
Experience supporting multiple senior leaders or VP-level executives simultaneously in a technology company, with the ability to learn their working styles and business priorities.
Bias for action and ownership
:
recognize what needs to happen, act independently within agreed priorities, and communicate progress and completion without repeated prompting.
Experience managing complex calendars across time zones, exercising judgment about competing requests, and checking scheduling details and attendees.
Skill in coordinating domestic and international travel and team events, anticipating dependencies, responding to disruptions, and confirming arrangements rather than stopping at an inquiry.
Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Navan, Claude and GitLab, alongside experience with expense reporting, recruiting coordination, and onboarding logistics.
Clear, approachable communication across functions and levels, sound judgment with confidential information, and the ability to build trusted working relationships.
Practical experience using AI tools to improve administrative work, with the judgment to validate outputs, capture context, and retain responsibility for the result.
An organized, reliable approach to balancing priorities across two leaders and their teams. We welcome transferable skills from different executive support backgrounds; prior go-to-market experience isn't required.
About the team
You'll join GitLab's CRO organization, supporting two leaders whose teams span Global Solution Architects, High Velocity Sales, and Sales Development. You'll work alongside a globally distributed group of executive support professionals who collaborate asynchronously through clear documentation, shared processes, and cross-functional partnership. The focus is dependable support for both VPs: keeping priorities clear, coordinating global travel and events, and ensuring commitments are completed and communicated as plans change.

About Backblaze
Backblaze is the object storage leader in the open cloud movement, fueling customer success with cloud storage built purposefully to unlock budgets, unburden administrators, and unleash innovators. Together with our partners, we’re helping customers break free from the restrictive, overpriced legacy solutions that hold them back, and blaze forward with the full power of the open cloud in their hands.
Founded in 2007, we scaled the business with less than $3 million in outside funding until 2021, when we did a traditional IPO on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Today, Backblaze generates over $100m in revenue and is the leading specialized storage cloud - managing over three billion gigabytes of data storage for 500K+ customers in 175+ countries, including businesses, developers, IT professionals, and individuals.
Want to know what you’ll be doing?
You will work on our data infrastructure platform which supports the B2 Object Storage and Computer Backup products, responsible for the data infrastructure that everything runs on. You will help improve automation, observability and stability for durability, increase throughput, and drive architectural changes to support the long term requirements of our service.
Responsibilities:
Design and build automation frameworks that let other engineers provision, configure, and repair fleet infrastructure themselves
Design and extend the observability stack (metrics, logs, traces, alerts) that tells us whether the storage platform is healthy and where it is degrading
Build reporting, dashboards, and visualizations that give engineering and leadership a clear view into fleet health, capacity, and operational trends
Build system health tooling that detects failing hardware, drifting configuration, and capacity risk before they turn into incidents
Lead technical design discussions and produce clear design documents for changes that span multiple services and teams
Drive the implementation of large features from design through rollout, including the migration and backfill work that real systems require
Partner with the on-call rotation to turn recurring toil and incident findings into automation and better signal
The Right Fit:
7+ years of backend development in an enterprise environment, working in an object-oriented or systems language (Java, Rust, C++, C#, Go, or similar)
Experience designing automation frameworks or platforms that other engineers build on
Experience building large scale software systems running on thousands of servers
Experience building automation or tooling that other engineers depend on daily, whether internal platform services, operational tooling, or a deployment and configuration pipeline
Working knowledge of an observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog, or equivalent), including instrumenting a service and designing alerts people trust
Strong Linux fundamentals and comfort operating in a bare-metal or hybrid environment rather than a fully managed cloud
Professional experience incorporating AI-assisted development tools (Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)
Comfortable with all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and rollout
Exhibits curiosity and seeks to understand before offering solutions
Communicates proactively in a remote environment by keeping the team informed, surfacing blockers early, and moving work forward
Applies analytical thinking to ambiguous problems
Bonus points for:
Proficiency in Java
Experience with configuration management or infrastructure-as-code tooling (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef, Terraform)
Experience designing SLOs and error budgets, or reducing alert noise on a fleet running at scale
Experience with time-series databases and query languages such as PromQL
Experience automating hardware lifecycle work: burn-in, failure detection, drive replacement, decommissioning
Experience with discovering and implementing performance improvements, including CPU and IO
Understanding of Linux internals and file systems
Familiarity with hard drive performance and optimization, including host-managed SMR
Experience building and interpreting models, dashboards, or reports
At this point, we hope you're feeling excited about the job description you're reading. Learning, developing, and growing are key parts of our culture, so even if you don't meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
At Backblaze, we value being fair and good to our customers, partners, and employees. That’s why diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the core of our values. We are committed to fostering a workforce where all employees feel a sense of belonging regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, socio-economic status, ability, veteran status, and education. We believe that our dedication to cultivating a diverse workspace not only allows us to better serve our customers in over 175 countries but further reinforces our commitment to doing the right thing.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL BUILD AND WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
Every Alan product, in every country, runs on the same backend: events, queues, cache, data shared between components, transactions. More than 200 engineers build on it every day. It carries more than 1 million members today. It must carry 10 million, in more countries, with more regulated health data.
You would join Backend Platform, a new team in our engineering organisation. Our job is to rethink the backend of a fully grown company, while it keeps running. Today almost everything runs in one Python monolith on one database. We are moving it towards big services that scale on their own, one pilot at a time. We build the tools that make this possible, and we set the rules for how Alan builds backends.
This is a rare kind of project. The codebase serves real members and customers every day, and we have the mandate to change how it is built. What we decide now will shape how hundreds of engineers work for years. You will learn a lot, and your work will have a real impact.
The team is small and growing: 3 engineers today, 6 next year. Its mission:
Own the backend building blocks every Alan product depends on, and make them simple enough that product teams use them without needing us.
Your scope
- The events pipeline. How our components and services talk to each other asynchronously: a Postgres outbox, Redis Streams, an S3 archive. It is in production for about 20 components. You make it a product that teams use on their own.
- Data replication between services. A service publishes read-only tables. Other services keep a local, fresh copy and join on it. This replaces slow joins across components.
- Towards big services. The tools to take capabilities out of the monolith: a service template, APIs between services, traces across services, dependency management. We start with a pilot and turn it into a playbook.
- The shared runtime. Queues, cache, the transaction layer. Their limits, their SLOs, their headroom.
- The backend direction. The rules for how we build backends at Alan, written with the other engineering teams.
🛠️ THE STACK
Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Redis, RQ, Datadog, all in a monorepo. New services are async-first. We deploy daily and believe in distributed ownership: you build it, you own it. You don't need prior Python experience.
⭐ IS IT YOU WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
Experience we value
- 5+ years of backend engineering, with code other teams depend on: libraries, frameworks, pipelines, internal platforms. You ran it in production and owned it.
- Distributed systems as a daily tool: events and messaging (delivery guarantees, ordering, idempotence, retries), data replication, consistency, transactions.
- PostgreSQL in depth: transactions, locks, replication, query plans.
- You have split a monolith or built services, step by step, while production kept running.
- You measure before you optimise, and you set SLOs and alerts for what you own.
- English working proficiency. French is not required.
Mindset we value
- Product mindset. Product teams are your customers. Adoption is how you measure success.
- Enabler. You build things others use on their own, instead of doing the work for them.
- You write to think and align. Short framing docs and decision records are how this team works with the rest of engineering.
- Influence without authority. You get other teams to change how they build, with no reporting line.
- Incremental. One pilot first, then the playbook. No big-bang rewrites.
Strong plus: you worked in a platform team that served product teams · event-driven architecture at scale · CDC or logical replication · async Python (asyncio, FastAPI) · multi-region or data residency · health, payments or other regulated data.
Not required: frontend · Kubernetes and cluster operations · database administration · LLM or AI expertise. Other teams own those.
Mission alignment
- Healthcare technology excites you.
- Leveraging AI to redefine our roles and unlock scalability.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire at D level https://medium.com/alan/a-new-iteration-of-our-engineering-career-path-at-alan-f46f7b229b2d or above. These are senior individual-contributor seats. Your leverage comes from technical depth and from how many teams use what you build.
But above all, we are looking for high potential and curiosity: make sure to show us this when you apply! Everything else is a bonus.
🌍 HOW WE WORK
- Location: You must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.
- Remote work: We offer remote work flexibility, but we value in-person collaboration.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist.
We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

About the Role
Neolytix is looking for an organized and proactive Associate to join our Learning & Development team at our Gurgaon (Udyog Vihar) office. This role owns the complete onboarding and induction experience for new joiners, drives internal policy communication, and supports employee engagement and development initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English, highly organized, and comfortable working UK-shift hours from the office. You’ll be the face new joiners meet first — so how well people settle in, and how clearly policy and communication land across the company, is yours to own.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Induction
Plan, coordinate, and conduct end-to-end onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming joining experience.
Design and deliver induction programs covering company culture, policies, tools, and role expectations.
Coordinate with department heads/managers to align onboarding and induction content with teamspecific requirements.
Act as the point of contact for new employees during their initial weeks — addressing queries and ensuring a smooth settling-in.
Policy & Internal Communications
Draft, update, and roll out HR policies — clear, compliant, and easily accessible to all employees.
Prepare and share timely announcements and internal communications (policy updates, events, org changes).
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to onboarding, induction, and policy acknowledgments.
Training Needs & L&D Support
Support the L&D team in organizing training sessions, workshops, and employee-development programs.
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Training Needs Identification (TNI) across teams.

Employee Experience & Reporting
Collect feedback from new joiners and continuously improve the induction journey.
Track onboarding metrics and prepare reports for HR leadership.
Skills & Experience
Must-Have
1–3 years of experience in HR, preferably in onboarding, induction, or L&D functions.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; able to engage confidently with employees at all levels.
MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and comfort drafting policy/communication documents.
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards) for tracking onboarding metrics and training reports.
AI-friendly — comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Copilot) to speed up content drafting, training material, and reporting.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple onboarding batches/tasks simultaneously.
Preferred
Exposure to or interest in TNA/TNE/TNI methodologies for identifying and evaluating training needs.
Prior experience in a UK-shift, international, or BPO/ITES environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory and must be completed — candidates currently pursuing or with an incomplete graduation are not eligible.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written English is essential — this is a communication-, presentation-, and policy-drafting-heavy role.
Work mode & shift:
Onsite at Neolytix Office, Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon (work from office; no remote/hybrid). UK shift, 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST. Working days as per company policy.
Notice period:
Immediate joiners or candidates on short notice preferred.
Performance Expectations
You will be measured on clear, role-specific outcomes:
New-joiner onboarding experience / satisfaction scores.
On-time completion of induction batches and policy acknowledgments.
Quality, clarity, and timeliness of policy and internal communications.
TNA/TNI coverage and measurable training-effectiveness (TNE) outcomes.
Why Join Neolytix

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
