We're proud to be backed by world-class investors who share that vision, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Stripes, and Mastercard, along with many others.
We're a team of 170+ across 26 states and 7 countries, headquartered in New York City.

to design and deliver technical product solutions that meet customer needs and highlight the value of our platform. You'll own complex client relationships from pre-sale through implementation, helping partners design integrations, navigate the Lithic platform, and unlock the full potential of card issuing infrastructure. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that requires equal parts technical credibility, client empathy, and cross-functional influence. You’ll be responsible to collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that clearly demonstrate the benefits of working with Lithic. If you’re passionate about technology, problem-solving, and creating exceptional customer experiences this role is for you.
What you'll do:
Client Engagement
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to a portfolio of strategic clients, from early-stage fintechs to enterprise partners.
Lead discovery conversations to understand client goals, technical environments, and program requirements.
Translate complex client needs into concrete integration designs and implementation plans.
Own client relationships through the full lifecycle; scoping, build, launch, and ongoing optimization.
Technical Depth
Develop deep expertise in Lithic's APIs, card issuing workflows, and platform capabilities.
Guide clients through integration decisions including authorization flows, transaction processing, tokenization, and card program configuration.
Review client implementations and proactively identify risks, gaps, or optimization opportunities.
Serve as a credible technical voice in escalations and complex problem-solving scenarios.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Account Executives to support pre-sales and shape solution proposals.
Work with Product and Engineering to surface client feedback, inform the roadmap, and advocate for platform improvements.
Collaborate with bank partners and compliance teams to ensure client programs meet regulatory and network requirements.
Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing by documenting solutions, building reusable frameworks, and mentoring junior team members.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a similar customer-facing role focused on implementing SaaS or technology solutions.
3–5 years of experience in FinTech, particularly in payments, card issuance, or financial services technologies.
Strong understanding of APIs and complex technical concepts, with the ability to translate them into clear, actionable insights for customers.
Excellent communication skills: able to translate technical information into clear business language to different internal stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills: comfortable and confident presenting to external teams technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong product sense, concept explanation, and technical acumen: familiarity with APIs and technical concepts.
A well-rounded contributor with strong product sense, communication, and storytelling skills.
Low-ego collaborator who builds strong relationships internally and externally.
Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver impactful, user-facing solutions.
Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results.

Our platform, Ubuntu, is very widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT. Our customers include the world's leading public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders in many sectors. The company is a pioneer of global distributed collaboration, with 1000+ colleagues in 70+ countries and very few office based roles. Teams meet two to four times yearly in person, in interesting locations around the world, to align on strategy and execution.

We are hiring an
Embedded Linux Field Engineer for Devices/IoT
to expand our reach in mission-critical industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as Consumer Electronics. We are looking for candidates who are accomplished Linux plumbers. If you are someone passionate about Linux, who knows the plumbing of the OS inside and out, who is proficient with distribution packaging, software design, system debugging, and bringing customer's ideas to life, then please keep on reading - this may be a uniquely exciting opportunity for you.
The server edition of Ubuntu is already very widely used in connected devices and industrial PC's. Our newer edition of Ubuntu for IoT, called Ubuntu Core, represents the state of the art in security and resilience for high end appliances and equipment. Together, this portfolio is Linux reinvented for optimal reliability, security, developer productivity and footprint.
This career opportunity requires a unique blend of skills. Successful candidates will know Linux well and be proficient coders and scripters. They will have experience of low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware and embedded software development methodologies. They also enjoy the pace of change and diversity of client engagements with driven and ambitious technology entrepreneurs. Competitive, business-focused technologists at heart, they are also dedicated team players that take pride in team and company wins.
We often say that our field engineers have 'the hardest job at Canonical' because customers can ask about any aspect of our solutions and products and expect a thoughtful, well-informed answer. We always want to do the best thing for our partners and customers, regardless of our company interests, and field engineers are the people we trust to ensure that is true.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. - Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.

This is an office based role.
We expect the suitable candidate to be based in Toronto as you will be required to work on-site at our lab.
We are hiring a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain MAAS test labs. As a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer in Canonical, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of our lab in the Toronto area, which we use for Ubuntu server certification of US based silicon and server designs. You'll use software that deploys and configures servers and network switches to operate the data centre and update its configuration, make sure the hardware and cabling is perfectly organised and inventoried, handle hardware deliveries and their onboarding and commissioning. You will work with a mixture of hardware: cutting edge new silicon that Kernel Team and Partner Engineering teams work on to make them run Linux extremely well, as well as established hardware to make sure new versions of Ubuntu are smooth and fast. We run our data centres using software-driven operations, and you need to be familiar with Python software development to be effective in this role. If you love hacking in your home lab, have good Python skills, and are curious about data centre hardware, you will love this opportunity.
The role entails
Operate a fully automated server lab with the latest server and network silicon from leading vendors, remotely and while on-site, making sure it remains available to other teams.
Maintain accurate inventory and layout of the hardware in the data centre.
Receive, install and configure new hardware.
Actively exercise MAAS functionality by using integrations with testing and scheduling software such as Testflinger. Report issues and assist in troubleshooting.
Use your Python development skills to enhance software-driven operations of the data centre.
Improve and extend hardware and network monitoring through automation.
Collaborate with other MAAS engineers, other data centre hardware specialists, teams responsible for certifying hardware for Ubuntu, kernel engineers and other teams who use the hardware lab.
