About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Application Security team secures the systems that build, serve, and increasingly
are
Claude — and as Anthropic's footprint grows, that mandate now extends to companies and codebases we bring in from outside. This role establishes that function.
You'll own security due diligence and secure integration for Anthropic's acquisitions — assessing a target's security posture pre-close, writing the security risk readout for leadership, and after close, bringing acquired systems up to Anthropic's bar. Security has been part of every deal to date, but this is the first dedicated role for it: you'll formalize the playbook, the risk model, and the tooling, and make them repeatable.
This is an AppSec role first. You'll be an active member of the Application Security team — same rituals, same on-run rotation, same tooling, working alongside engineers securing Anthropic's own agentic product surfaces. The expectation is the same too: we use Claude as our primary tool, and you're expected to automate the repeatable parts of diligence and integration as you go, so each acquisition is easier than the last. When deal flow is quiet, you'll pick up core AppSec project work; when it's active, M&A is your priority.
We're upfront that the center of gravity here is M&A rather than core product security. It's burstier, more assessment-heavy, and operates on confidential, time-sensitive work. If you like parachuting into an unfamiliar codebase under time pressure and turning it into a clear risk picture for leadership, this is that job.
Key responsibilities
Lead pre-close security due diligence on prospective acquisitions — coordinate external penetration testing, threat-model the target's architecture, assess security controls, and deliver the security risk readout for leadership ahead of close and integration planning
Drive post-close security integration — stand up static and dynamic analysis coverage on acquired codebases, track high- and critical-severity remediation to closure, fold acquired assets into bug bounty scope, and onboard repositories to Anthropic's automated vulnerability remediation and reporting systems
Coordinate adjacent security engineering teams (supply chain, cloud, corporate security, detection & response) on their portions of each integration
Work across a wide set of stakeholders on every deal — corporate development, legal, security leadership, and the engineering teams inheriting acquired systems internally; engineering and security counterparts at the target company externally — translating between them and keeping the security workstream legible to all of them
Formalize and scale Anthropic's M&A security playbook — risk-scoring model, diligence runbook, integration checklist — and turn as much of it as possible into Claude-powered tooling rather than manual process
Share the team's operational on-run rotation (bug bounty escalations, launch consults, incident response), swapping out during periods of active deal work
Contribute to core AppSec projects between deals — secure design reviews, threat modeling for agentic systems, and the team's security automation roadmap
Minimum qualifications
Hands-on application and infrastructure security experience, including cloud and containerized environments
Demonstrated ability to rapidly assess an unfamiliar codebase or architecture and produce a clear, prioritized risk assessment for a non-security audience
Production-quality coding ability in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript
Practical threat-modeling and vulnerability-identification skills — you've found and reasoned about real bugs in real systems
Comfort operating with high autonomy, ambiguity, and tightly-held confidential context
Clear written and verbal communication across varied audiences — executives, legal and corporate development partners, and engineering counterparts at an acquired company
Preferred qualifications
7+ years in application security, security consulting, or security architecture
Prior M&A security due diligence, third-party security assessment, or technical due diligence experience
Experience standing up or scaling SAST/DAST, bug bounty, or vulnerability management coverage across multiple codebases
Track record of building security automation or tooling rather than relying solely on manual review
Familiarity with using LLMs as a core part of your security workflow
Experience securing agentic, code-execution, or LLM-integrated systems
Representative projects
Point Anthropic's internal LLM-driven code analysis and AI-assisted scanning at an acquired repository nobody here has seen, and turn the output into a prioritized remediation plan in days rather than weeks
Design the risk-scoring framework Anthropic uses to compare security posture across acquisitions of different shapes and sizes
Build the automation that onboards an acquired codebase to Anthropic's vulnerability dashboard, dependency auto-patching, and bounty scope without a human running a checklist
Write the security risk memo for a live deal and present it to corporate development and security leadership
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000

$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to join our Data Engineering team based in London.
As the Data Platform Team, we strive to create the world’s leading, commercially scalable, safe, and advanced humanoid robots that seamlessly integrate into daily life and amplify human capacity.
We’re looking for experienced Engineers to help build our data platform from the ground up. You’ll have the opportunity to define its architecture, make key decisions, and shape how we handle and process petabyte-scale data in the near future.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build the Capability Factory - an internal platform designed for everyone from software engineers to non-technical operators, enabling the entire organization to teach HMND robots new skills at scale, from raw data all the way to deployed capabilities.
- Curate, preprocess, and manage large-scale datasets for humanoid robot training - a corpus of robot telemetry growing toward petabyte scale.
- Design and operate highly scalable data pipelines and the compute infrastructure that powers them, ensuring reliability and throughput as data volume and team demands grow.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of training data across multiple concurrent projects and robot platforms.
- Collaborate with machine learning teams to shape the Capability Factory, streamline MLOps, and build the evaluation workflows that close the loop between training runs and real-world robot performance.
- Build data warehouse solutions and BI dashboards that give stakeholders across the organization clear visibility into data collection, model progress, and operational health.
- Establish and uphold best practices for data management - versioning, access control, security, and compliance.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of owning and delivering complex systems end-to-end, not just contributing to them.
- Strong backend engineering - designing and operating production-grade APIs and services: clean data modeling, reliable error handling, performance under load.
- Data engineering at PB+ scale - building and maintaining pipelines that move, transform, and validate large volumes of data reliably; understanding of batch and streaming processing patterns, data quality, and schema evolution.
- Workflow orchestration at scale - designing and operating multi-step automated pipelines with retries, observability, and graceful failure handling.
- Distributed systems fundamentals - you understand how things break at scale: eventual consistency, idempotency, backpressure, job scheduling, and failure modes in distributed compute and storage.
- Cloud infrastructure fluency - you have shipped and operated real systems on a major cloud provider; you think about cost, reliability, and security as first-class concerns, not afterthoughts.
- Container orchestration - deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes at a level where you can debug scheduling issues, design resource allocation, and reason about cluster health without guidance.
- Full-stack range - comfortable building both the backend and the frontend of an internal product; you can own a feature from database schema to UI without handing off.
- Production ownership mindset - you've been on-call, triaged incidents under pressure, and improved systems after postmortems. You take reliability personally.
Nice to Have
- ML infrastructure or MLOps experience - understanding of how training jobs run, how model artifacts are managed, and what makes an evaluation pipeline trustworthy; you've worked alongside or directly supported ML researchers.
- Distributed compute frameworks - experience with large-scale parallel data processing, whether for data transformation, model training, or evaluation.
- Domain knowledge in robotics or embodied AI - familiarity with robot data formats, sensor telemetry, or the sim-to-real evaluation loop is a significant head start.
- BI and data warehouse experience - building data models and dashboards that translate raw operational data into decisions for non-technical stakeholders.
- Dual-cloud or multi-cloud storage - experience reasoning about cost, latency, and consistency tradeoffs across storage providers.
- Frontend product sense - beyond just shipping features, you have opinions about what makes an internal tool actually usable by non-engineers.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Solutions Consultant at Tennr, your job is to walk into the messiest patient intake and authorization workflows in healthcare and prove, with evidence, not slides, that Tennr can fix them.
You get brought in once a deal is qualified and own the technical evaluation from first demo through signature. That means running discovery to uncover the real operational pain, translating it into a business case, and then building and delivering a proof of concept that makes the answer obvious. You'll partner closely with an Account Executive, but the evaluation is yours to win.
This is not a feature-demo role. The best SCs at Tennr understand the customer's business well enough to tell them something they didn't know about themselves — and then show them exactly how Tennr fixes it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run structured discovery to identify operational pain points across referral intake, prior authorization, and patient processing workflows — and quantify what they're costing the organization.
- Deliver product demonstrations that are built around the prospect's specific problems, not generic feature walkthroughs.
- Architect and build tailored Proof of Concepts using Tennr's agentic patient orchestration platform, scoped to what will move the deal.
- Build current/future state process maps that make the before-and-after undeniable.
- Own deal strategy in partnership with the AE — know where the deal stands, who the stakeholders are, and what needs to happen to close.
- Become a genuine expert in the healthcare verticals you cover (DME, infusion, specialty pharmacy, home health) — understand the workflows, the payer dynamics, and the economics well enough to be credible in a room full of operators.
- Translate Tennr's technical capabilities into business outcomes for non-technical buyers (operations leaders, CFOs, clinical directors).
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-7 years in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or a technical customer-facing role at a B2B SaaS company.
- Technically hands-on — you've configured complex software platforms, worked with APIs, or built demo/sandbox environments without engineering doing it for you. You know how data moves through a system.
- Security and compliance fluency — you can read a SOC 2, interpret technical controls (encryption, access management, network segmentation), and respond to vendor security assessments without needing someone to translate for you.
- CS degree or equivalent technical foundation strongly preferred — not because we need you to write production code, but because it signals you can figure things out when the documentation runs out.
- Healthcare experience preferred — DME, infusion, specialty pharmacy, or any provider-side operations background is a significant plus.
- Comfortable presenting to and building credibility with both operational buyers and technical stakeholders (IT, security, compliance).
- Startup experience is a plus — you build process as you go and don't wait to be told what to do.
WHY TENNR?
- Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won’t just talk about things, you’ll get them done. And feel the impact.
- Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure.
- Innovate with Purpose: we’re not just doing this for fun (although we do have a lot of fun). At Tennr, you’ll join a high-caliber team maniacally focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.
- Build Relationships: collaborate and connect with like-minded, driven individuals in our Hudson Square office 4 days/week.
- Free lunch! Plus a pantry full of snacks.
BENEFITS
- Beautiful new office at 345 Hudson Street
- Unlimited PTO
- 100% paid employee health benefit options
- Employer funded 401(k) match
- Competitive parental leave

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Our mission on the Connectivity team is to make Claude the most connected AI. As agents take on more real-world work, we're taking a leading role in defining how they get access to external systems — safely, with the right permissions, and in ways enterprises can trust. We ship for
claude.ai
, Claude Code, Cowork, and the API. We own the MCP proxy that routes every tool call and the OAuth and token management that keeps connections authenticated. We're also core contributors to the MCP spec — now an open standard under the Linux Foundation — and maintain the official Python and TypeScript SDKs.
We're looking for an experienced engineering leader to lead a team of Connectivity engineers based in London. The Connectivity team spans San Francisco and London, and you'll work closely with engineering leadership and partner teams in San Francisco to set direction and deliver together across both sites. You'll lead a team working on problems where reliability and enterprise trust are the bar: token refresh at scale, admin controls that let IT govern what agents can do, and proxy infrastructure that stays up when partner servers don't.
Key responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers building the connectivity infrastructure that powers tool use across Anthropic's product suite, from the MCP proxy to OAuth and token management
Take an inclusive, equitable approach to hiring and coaching top technical talent, and maintain a high-performing team
Coach, mentor, and provide career development guidance to your direct reports, helping them set and achieve their professional goals
Partner with Connectivity engineering leadership in San Francisco, along with product, security, and platform teams, to define the team's roadmap and create clarity for the team in an ambiguous and evolving environment
Drive cross-team and cross-org alignment to ship work that spans
claude.ai
, Claude Code, Cowork, and the API, working effectively with teams primarily based in the US
Establish and drive adoption of engineering best practices within your team, including the operational rigor (on-call, incident response, postmortems) required for infrastructure that other teams and external partners depend on
Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Anthropic's engineering management team
Minimum qualifications
Experience managing software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
A technical background in backend or platform engineering, with the depth to guide architectural decisions and engage credibly in technical discussions
Experience operating production distributed systems, with an understanding of what reliability, observability, and incident response require at scale
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build consensus across teams and time zones
Demonstrated success building a culture of belonging, and of product and engineering excellence
Preferred qualifications
3+ years of experience as an engineering manager
Familiarity with MCP or experience contributing to open standards or open source ecosystems
Experience leading teams that collaborate closely with distributed or cross-timezone partner teams
Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth, token management, or identity systems
Experience building or operating API gateways, proxies, or multi-tenant platforms
Experience building for enterprise customers, including admin controls, governance, and compliance requirements
Experience working on AI/ML products or agentic systems
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
£255,000
—
£325,000 GBP
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains.

Who we are
Our mission is to bring clarity and control to the world's most complex codebases. AI is accelerating code creation, but the infrastructure to understand, oversee, and evolve that code hasn't kept pace. Sourcegraph gives engineering organizations full visibility across their systems, precise context for their agents, and the ability to execute coordinated code changes at scale. As agentic development becomes the dominant engineering paradigm, we provide the context layer teams need to take control of their codebase.
With Code Search, Deep Search, MCP, and Agentic Batch Changes, we deliver on that mission today - giving engineering teams and their AI tools the cross-repo context to navigate massive codebases with confidence, and the ability to make changes across hundreds of repositories at once.
Companies like Stripe, Reddit, and Leidos rely on Sourcegraph to ship faster and with higher quality. We're backed by a16z, Sequoia, and Redpoint, and proud to operate as a globally distributed team that values high agency, direct communication, and customer love.
If you want to build the infrastructure that lets every engineering team - and every agent they deploy - operate on their codebase with confidence, join us.

Why this job is exciting
Source code is at the heart of Sourcegraph. We support multiple code hosts and retrieve, store, index, and serve source code - to end users, admins, and other internal services.
This role gives you the opportunity to solve complex, challenging, and highly technical problems for our customers, both internally and externally, help unleash the potential and productivity of our Engineering teams, and delight our customers with industry-leading quality software.
The Platform team primarily focuses on building a fully managed platform for using Sourcegraph, Sourcegraph Cloud, our SaaS offering. As a member of the Platform team, you will work closely with both external customers and internal stakeholders to meet their needs. You will:
Develop inter-cloud connectivity solutions to support enterprise customers from highly regulated industries to use Sourcegraph Cloud.
Build a control plane to orchestrate a fleet of single-tenant Sourcegraph Cloud instances.
Expose complex infrastructure as API to support internal customers to iterate faster.
Dive into upstream dependencies (e.g., CDK for Terraform, Terraform providers for GCP) to debug and patch non-trivial problems.
Be an advocate for building reliable services and work with leadership to help product teams achieve operational excellence.
Participate in on-call rotation to uphold our contractual SLA commitments.
📅 Within one month, you will…
Onboard onto the Sourcegraph architecture, tooling, and development workflow.
Build a solid understanding of the team’s areas of ownership, technical challenges, and problems the team solves for our customers, and know how all of these align with the top-level company goals.
Actively participate in team meetings, sharing ideas and insights to contribute to the overall team goals.
Start contributing to the team goals and deliverables by shipping new features, debugging issues, and fixing bugs.
📅 Within three months, you will…
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Cloud infrastructure, its underlying technologies, and its integration within the Sourcegraph ecosystem.
Lead initiatives contributing to team goals through both discovery and delivery phases, collaborating directly with product and design partners, other engineering teams, and non-technical stakeholders from different departments.
Contribute to the architectural design and implementation of new features or improvements, actively shaping the future direction of Cloud infrastructure based on customer needs.
Lead initiatives contributing to team goals on the roadmap by going through the entire product development lifecycle discovery, design, implementation, and delivery.
Participate in our on-call rotation.
📅 Within six months, you will…
Be defining long-term technical vision and strategies for new product development, scaling existing services, and managing technical debt. These plans will consist of multiple smaller milestones that you will deliver iteratively with the team.
Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on defining the team’s growth strategy based on the long-term product vision, the technical vision, and the team’s needs.
Seek feedback from customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for further improvements or new features, actively iterating on the Cloud infrastructure to ensure it continues to meet our high bar.
About you
You bring a product mindset in balancing architectural flexibility and philosophy with meeting immediate customer demand. You are an experienced software engineer who seeks to solve problems by writing code rather than through one-off operations. You are passionate about user experience and self-service. You balance maintaining and designing high-impact systems with a pragmatic understanding of how to make appropriate tradeoffs (e.g., cut scope, low-tech vs. custom complex solutions) to ship quickly and iterate when necessary.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Go, or other strongly typed languages.
Knowledge in one of the public cloud platform providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Experience with Terraform (or similar IaC solutions) and Kubernetes to build tooling and automation.
Skilled at debugging distributed systems, followed by designing and implementing solutions to those problems. This means you should know your way around various OS-level primitives, e.g., network, CPU, and memory.
Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, especially in writing and documentation.
Preferred time zone between UTC-8 and UTC+2
Nice to haves:
Built services and exposed them as API for external consumption (e.g., gRPC).
Comfortable implementing system-level software (e.g., custom transport protocol) if needed or has contributed to Kubernetes controllers/operators.
Published blog posts and/or tech talks about your work.
Experience working on small high-performing teams, preferably tech startups.

Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
About The Role:
We're an advertising company that lives or dies by how well we connect to the outside world. We integrate with the major social and ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snap, and more) and wire them into our internal systems for billing and reporting. Data moves constantly and in both directions, at scale, and a meaningful part of our estate is legacy. You'll own the technical direction that keeps all of this coherent, resilient, and evolvable — and you'll stay close enough to the code to prove it.
This is the top of our individual-contributor ladder. You won't have direct reports; your leverage comes from setting direction, building the hard parts yourself, writing the decisions down, and getting engineers and leadership to build behind them. This is not a role that only draws diagrams — you'll ship production code on the riskiest paths, cut the spike that de-risks a migration, and go deep in the incidents nobody else can crack. We work across PHP, Go, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript; PHP and Go are both first-class and here to stay, and the right tool for a problem can land in either. You'll be the person who decides where new capability lands, how legacy gets retired, and how we absorb the constant churn of third-party APIs without breaking delivery.
What You'll Own:
The integration architecture for ingesting from and pushing to external ad/social platforms — versioning, rate limits, backfills, idempotency, webhooks, and graceful degradation when a partner API changes underneath us.
The data architecture for information flowing between platforms and internal systems: pipelines, reconciliation, contracts between services, and the path from operational data to reporting.
A pragmatic strategy for modernizing the legacy estate — strangler-fig migrations, clear service boundaries, and sound judgement about which language and pattern fit each problem — carried far enough into code that teams can follow the pattern.
The engineering bar for integration and data work: the reference implementations, patterns, and standards the org builds against, ratified through the technical committee.
What You'll Do:
Set the technical direction for new products and major changes, and stay the technical decision-maker through build and post-launch — with the authority to course-correct when implementation drifts, and the habit of being in the codebase to catch the drift early.
Build the hard parts yourself.
Write production code on the riskiest, highest-leverage paths; prototype the uncertain approach to turn an argument into evidence; build the reference implementation others extend.
Turn intangible trade-offs — partner API risk, team capability, long-term scalability, cost of change — into clear, written decisions (ADRs) that leadership and the technical committee can sign off on.
Define service and data contracts, integration patterns, and resilience strategies that survive third-party API deprecations and outages.
Go deep when it breaks: lead diagnosis on the gnarliest production incidents and performance regressions, and land the fix and the systemic follow-up.
Identify the infrastructure (compute, data, messaging, observability) needed to meet current and near-future goals.
Raise the bar through others:
mentor engineers and tech leads, set the standard in code review, and drive cross-functional decisions across engineering, product, security, and operations — through influence, not line management.
Evaluate third-party and vendor solutions against our integration and data requirements.
Monitor systems against performance and business benchmarks and escalate with concrete recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
Substantial experience as a staff/principal engineer (or equivalent) on
integration-heavy, data-heavy systems
— ideally where you didn't control the external APIs.
Still hands-on.
You lead by building, and you're demonstrably strong in production code, not only in design.
Depth in at least one of
PHP, Go, or Python
, and comfort across a polyglot estate (TS/JS on the front).
A track record of
modernising legacy systems incrementally
without halting delivery.
Fluency in integration and data patterns: idempotency, eventual consistency, rate limiting, queuing, backfills/reconciliation, API versioning.
A history of
driving technical decisions through influence rather than authority
— getting senior leadership and peer engineers to commit to a direction, and backing it with working code.
Nice To Have:
Experience with ad/martech platform APIs (Meta Marketing, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.).
Data warehouse / analytics pipeline experience (e.g. BigQuery).
Multi-region, multi-currency, or high-volume billing/reconciliation backgrounds.
