Join us as a (Senior) Full Stack Developer - Web (f/m/d) in Berlin
Our Story
We are looking for a
Senior Full Stack Developer (Web Platform)
to help shape and scale thinkcell’s web platform and enable multiple teams to efficiently manage and publish content.
This is not a role for someone who only wants to work within a fixed web stack or maintain existing templates. We are looking for a web engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, making sound architectural decisions, and building systems that remain robust and maintainable as requirements evolve.
You will work across frontend and backend, improve the technical foundation of our web platform, and help us build scalable solutions that enable our teams to manage and publish content. Along the way, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across design, marketing, product and engineering but with strong ownership over technical quality, long-term maintainability, and the overall direction of the platform.
What you will do
Design, build, and evolve our web platform features across front-end and CMS back-end.
Solve complex technical problems in a pragmatic way, balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability
Drive architectural improvements that make our web ecosystem more robust, scalable, and easier to work with
Build and improve our back-end functionality in PHP and Laravel for integrations, dynamic features, and internal tooling
Extend and optimize our CMS and publishing workflows to support efficient content operations without compromising technical quality
Improve performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and technical SEO foundations across the platform
Work on the evolution of our current web architecture, while also challenging existing approaches when better solutions exist
Collaborate with design, marketing, product, and engineering teams to turn business requirements into well-structured technical solutions
Interface with back-end systems written in C++, ensuring reliable and efficient data exchange across system boundaries
Identify opportunities to improve developer experience, reduce complexity, and raise the overall engineering standard of the platform
Take ownership of technical tasks and help define best practices for modern web development at think-cell
What we are looking for
Strong experience building and shipping production-grade web platforms, applications, or systems
A proven ability to solve non-trivial technical problems and work confidently in complex web related codebases
Strong full stack engineering skills, with solid backend experience in PHP, Laravel, or similar technologies and a frameworks
Strong frontend fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern approaches to building maintainable user interfaces
Good judgment when making architectural and technical trade-offs
A pragmatic mindset: you know when to build for flexibility and when to keep things simple
Curiosity and confidence to work with unfamiliar technologies or domains when needed
A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality, maintainability, and technical outcomes
Experience collaborating across disciplines and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English
Nice to have
Experience with Statamic CMS
Experience with static site generation challenges
Experience with Deployment Tools such as Jenkins or similar tools
Familiarity with Tailwind, Alpine.js, or similar frontend tools
Experience improving performance-critical, SEO-relevant, or content-heavy platforms
Familiarity with Python for automation or tooling
Experience integrating with non-web backend systems or services
Our Values
As part of our team, you will embody and help shape the following principles that define us:
Forward Thinking
: We embrace change and challenge the status quo.
Ownership
: We take pride in our work and learn from our mistakes.
Customer First
: We prioritize delivering lasting value.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp's Enterprise CSMs don't manage accounts — they transform how companies run their finances. This is a role for people who have been inside large organizations when change was hard, who speak the language of a CFO, and who already use AI the way surgeons use instruments: not occasionally, not as an experiment, but as the default way they work. You'll be embedded in Ramp's enterprise accounts, responsible for driving genuine workflow transformation — not just onboarding completion.
What You'll Do
- Lead enterprise customers through the full transformation journey — from implementation through agentic workflow adoption — with clear accountability for time-to-value and measurable business outcomes
- Build and own the change management strategy for each account: map stakeholders, diagnose resistance, build internal coalitions, and drive adoption past the finish line
- Quantify and communicate Ramp's impact in the language CFOs and Controllers care about — close cycle improvement, spend visibility, variance reduction, and ROI — not just product usage metrics
- Run executive-level stakeholder management across multiple layers of a customer org, including C-suite relationships you own independently
- Use AI tools daily to prepare for customer calls, build materials, synthesize data, identify account risk, and operate at a pace traditional methods can't match
- Help customers understand and adopt Ramp's agentic finance capabilities — positioning new workflows not as features, but as fundamental changes to how their finance team operates
- Partner with Account Executives and Technical Consulting to deliver seamless implementations and expand Ramp's footprint within accounts
- Bring customer insight back to Product — surfacing patterns, gaps, and opportunities from your accounts to shape how Ramp evolves
Must-Haves
- Enterprise change management — You've driven workflow adoption inside complex organizations, navigated real resistance from real stakeholders, and have measurable results to show for it. Finance or fintech context is a plus but not required.
- ERP system fluency — You're comfortable working within and around major ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, Workday, Sage Intacct, or similar). You understand how these systems structure financial data, where integrations typically break, and how workflow changes ripple through an ERP-centric finance stack. This fluency is what lets you speak credibly to Controllers and finance ops teams about how Ramp fits into their existing systems of record.
- AI fluency as a daily habit — You already use AI tools habitually in your work. You use them to prep for calls, synthesize information, build customer-facing materials, and automate repetitive tasks. This is how you work, not something you're exploring. Ramp is a builder culture: if you don't instinctively reach for AI before doing things manually, this role will be a hard adjustment.
- Financial impact communication — You can walk a CFO through the business case for a workflow change, connect implementation milestones to P&L outcomes, and run executive updates in financial terms, not product terms. A finance background is not required — fluency is.
- Technical acumen — You can hold your own in conversations with Product and Engineering on integrations, APIs, and workflow architecture. You don't need to code, but credibility in technical conversations is what earns you a seat at the table with the full customer stakeholder group.
- 7+ years in enterprise customer success or implementations — You’ve spent enough time navigating complex organizations and senior stakeholders that it’s second nature. You know how to move an enterprise, not just support one.
Nice-to-Haves
- Agentic workflow experience — You've helped customers adopt AI-powered or agentic workflows at scale. You understand what friction looks like in practice and what makes transformation actually stick.
- Finance domain depth — Exposure to FP&A, accounting software ecosystems (Netsuite, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero), expense management, or CFO-adjacent workflows. Accelerates credibility with Ramp's customer base.
- Demonstrated commercial impact — You can point to expansion, retention, or time-to-value outcomes with specific metrics attached — not described in general terms.
- Background at an AI-first or AI transformation company — not just a company that uses AI, but one where rethinking workflows around it was part of the product or culture
- High-growth or startup experience (comfort operating in ambiguity and rapid change)
- C-suite relationships built and maintained independently, without relying on a sales counterpart
For candidates located in NYC or SF, the pay range for this role is $163,000 - $262,000. For candidates located in all other locations, the pay range for this role is $147,000- $236,000.
